In recent years there are so many medical informations that surgeons should know to handle or analyze their large amount of surgical cases. Proper use of computer system offers new opportunities for the storage and manipulation of their hospital informations. But little is reported about which system, is appropriate, how much can we do with such a system, or what kind of work can be done with that, especially in the area of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery section. Authors designed a computer-based patient file management system using 16 Bit AT IBM personal computer and dBASE IV program, and developed a coding system for the diagnosis and operation name, which offers the basis for the classification of the surgical patient data. And the result of some experiences which was got from the total surgical cases of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Section, Seoul District Armed Forces General Hospital during past 5years, was described.

저자들은 흉부 불쾌감 및 호흡곤란을 주소로 내원한 19세 여자환자에서 우연히 흉부사진상 반월도(scimitar) 모양의 음영 및 우측 폐 형성부전이 발견되어 심초음파, 전산화 단층촬영 혈관조영술, 심도자 및 심혈관 조영술 등으로 확진하여 보존적 치료를 시행한 성인형 Scimitar 증후군을 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of a school-based social skills training program on peer relationships in children and adolescents and to assess the plan for effective school-based mental health services. Methods: The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Promotion Team of Bugok National Hospital conducted 7-sessioned school-based social skills training for elementary and middle school students (n=90). Changes in peer relationships were evaluated before and after application of the program using a name generator question. Results: The social skills training program increased peer relations, indicating significant changes in social network indices. Conclusion: The social skills training program positively influenced peer relationships. The school-based social skills training program can be expected to have positive effects on school-based mental health services. Future investigation is needed to validate the long term effects of this program.

방사선사를 위한 교육 및 영상 정보에 대한 정확한 판단에 유용한 주석-기반 방사선 의료영상 검색 시스템을 설계 및 구현하고, 방사선 의료영상에 대한 단순 속성정보, 부가적인 정보인 텍스트 설명정보로부터 추출한 중요 키워드에 대한 효율적인 검색을 위해 $B^+$-트리와 역화일 기법을 이용한 색인기법을 제안하고자 한다. 윈도우즈 XP에서 Delphi를 이용하여 구현하였으며, 방사선사는 방사선 의료영상에 대한 속성 정보, 부가적인 설명정보, 이미지 정보를 저장하도록 하고, 구축된 영상 데이터베이스로부터 속성정보와 텍스트 키워드 정보를 이용하여 검색 가능하도록 하였다. 임상방사선사가 단순속성정보 및 텍스트 설명정보를 찾아냄으로써 임상현장에서의 체계적인 교육뿐 만 아니라 지식을 구조화함으로써 교육시간의 단축과 방사선 의료영상에 대해 정확한 판단을 내릴 수 있다. 구현되어진 방사선 의료영상검색 시스템은 차후에 일반촬영, 특수조영영상을 포함한 통합화상시스템으로의 확장이 요구되며, 아울러 웹을 통한 서비스를 구축함으로써 의사결정시스템으로 발전 할 수 있는 기반기술로 기대된다.

저자는 "대한영상의학회 용어위원회" 위원장을 맡으면서 "대한의사협회 용어위원회" 위원 및 대한의사협회의 "제6판 의학용어집" 발간을 위한 "의학용어실무위원회" 위원으로 2015년 7월부터 2020년 1월까지 "제6판 의학용어집" 개정 발간을 위한 작업에 참여하였다. 이번 "제6판 의학용어집"의 용어 개정 작업에 참여한 경험을 바탕으로 그동안 한글의학용어와 영상의학과의 명칭의 변화에 대한 특별기고문을 작성하였다.

The late Prof. Kyeok Boo Han (1913-2005) was one of the pioneers in the early stages of the establishment of thoracic surgery in Korea. He was in charge of thoracic surgery at Seoul National University Hospital from 1948 to the outbreak of the Korean War in 1950. He presented a thoracic surgical case entitled "Adhesive (constrictive) pericarditis: one surgical case" at the first academic meeting of the Chosun (an old name for Korea) Medical Association, held in 1947. This presentation is considered to be the first thoracic surgical case presented by a Korean surgeon at a domestic medical meeting after the National Liberation from Japanese colonial rule in 1945. In this regard, this study was intended to analyze the content and the meaning of the case, published in a journal in 1948.

Cancer is one of the most serious health problem in modern society, and there are many studies to treat this disease. We have performed the study about analyzing papers related with anti-cancerous herbs that is used in clinical treatment recently. We found 257 papers in 'Pub med', the internet site, using the key words 'cancer' and the scientific name of anti-cancerous herbs. We also have compared the herbs' efficacy in oriental medicine with the experimental results in those papers, and thought the practical uses in clinical treatments. However, research studies that reported data on anti-cancerous herbs were wholly lacking. It is recommended that further studies be performed from the point of view of oriental medicine.

본 연구의 목적은 본교병원이 있는 간호대학 졸업예정자들의 외부병원 취업경험을 이해하고자 시도되었다. 본교병원에 취업지원을 하지 않은 대학교 4학년 재학생 5명을 대상으로 융합적 접근을 위해 포커스그룹 면접을 2017년 7월 4일부터 7일까지 3회에 걸쳐 진행하여 자료를 수집하였고, 심층면담은 연구자에 의해 진행되었으며 면담은 연구 참여자에게 동의를 받아 녹음하였고 면담직후 즉시 필사되었고, 내용분석 방법으로 분석했다. 연구결과는 '개인 가치와 경험에 따른 다양한 취업병원 선택기준', '힘든 업무에 대한 인정과 보상', '병원 네임벨류의 영향', '자신의 가능성을 발전시키기 위한 기회', '자대병원 아닌 외부병원 취업으로 인해 닥칠 두려움'의 5가지 주제가 도출되었다. 본 연구결과는 간호대학생의 취업지도를 하는데 고려해야 할 점과 신규간호사의 이직률을 감소시킬 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

Purpose: This study was aimed at investigating the recognition and attitude of inpatients for the purpose of facilitating the implementation of the home health care program in relation to the opening of the Home Care Department in P University Hospital in Pusan. Method: Data were collected from the questionnaires returned by 293 patients, who were admitted at P University Hospital. from May 1 to May 15, 2001 and analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Fisher exact test. Results: In regard to the previous information about the home health care program, 55.6% of the inpatients heard about the name through the advertisement in the hospital. the mass communication, and from acquaintances. The percentage of right answers regarding the knowledge of home health care program was 43.9%. In regard to the acceptance of the home health care program, 97.1 % of patients agreed with the implementation of the home care program. The reasons for acceptance were: the maintenance of the continuity of care, the alleviation of the family burden of time. Conclusion: For the stabilization and successful implementation of a home health care system, it should be accompanied not only by advertisement but also education for patients about the home health care program, and a post-evaluative study after the implementation.

본 연구는 병원도서관의 존재 및 역할의 중요성으로 인해 관련 가이드라인 및 기준을 토대로 실제적으로 환자에게 제공되고 있는 서비스를 조사해 보고자 함이 목적으로 조사대상은 국외 병원도서관이다. 검색엔진 Google로부터 관련 검색어 결과 국외 병원도서관 사이트 90개를 선정하여 가이드라인 및 기준을 토대로 작성된 서비스 유형을 조사하였다. 조사결과, '기본서비스'와 '건강정보자원서비스'를 중심으로 서비스가 제공되고 있었으며 '건강정보자원서비스'의 경우, '교육'보다는 '제공 전달'중심으로 서비스가 이루어지고 있었다. '정신적 심적 치유서비스'는 전체적으로 미흡한 것으로 조사되었다. 조사결과를 기반으로 한 제언으로는 첫째, 환자만을 특화시킨 도서관 명칭이 필요하며 둘째, 정신적 심적 치유서비스인 문화 오락 재활 프로그램 제공, 특히 병원도서관 서비스의 중심이라 할 수 있는 독서치료서비스의 확대가 필요하며 셋째, 사서를 기본으로 한 건강사서, 자원봉사자의 인적자원 배치가 필요하다.
