내경 4.3 mm와 6.4 mm관내 R-22와 R-407C의 증발 열전달과 압력강하에 관한 실험연구 (Experimental Study for Evaporation Heat Transfer and Pressure Drop of R-22 and R-407C in an Inner Diameter of 4.3 mm and 6.4 mm)

  • 본 연구에서는 내경 4.3 mm와 6.4 mm의 수평동관내 R-22와 R-407C의 증발 열전달과 압력강하를 실험적으로 조사하였다. 냉매 순환루프의 주요구성품은 수액기, 압축기, 질량유량계, 응축기, 이중관식 증발기 (시험부)로 구성된다. 시험부는 내경 4.3 mm와 6.4mm의 평활 동관으로 이루어져 있다. 냉매질량유속은 $100\;kg/m^2s$에서 $300\;kg/m^2s$까지 변화시켰고, 증발기 냉매포화온도는 $5^{\circ}C$이다. R-22와 R-407C의 증발 열전달계수는 질량유속과 증기건도의 증가와 함께 따라 상승한다. 내경 4.3 mm와 6.4mm관내 R-22의 증발 열전달계수가 R-407C에 비해 각각 $7.3{\sim}47.1%$$5.68{\sim}46.6%$ 정도 높다.

  • 최근 웹 2.0의 등장과 함께 매쉬업 서비스는 매우 각광 받는 신개념 웹 서비스이다. 매쉬업과 같은 서비스와 더불어 개인의 인맥구축을 목적으로 한 커뮤니티 형 웹서비스인 소셜 네트워크 서비스가 생겨나고 우리의 생활 깊숙이 들어와서 거대한 축을 형성 하였다. 트위터는 인맥의 구조가 단방향이고 수평적이어서 정보이동에도 적합하다. 트위터의 방대한 인맥네트워크에서 사람들은 자신의 관심 지역과 일치하는 사람들과 정보를 공유하고 싶어 한다. 본 논문에서는 관심지역이 일치하는 사람들 간에 정보 공유를 목적으로 스마트 리트윗 매쉬업 서비스를 개발한다. 공유할 정보의 대상을 선별 하기위하여 추가 정보가 요구된다. 정보가 파생된 지역과 사용자가 지정한 관심지역으로 공유할 정보의 대상을 선별한다.

Oil boom과 파랑의 비선형상호작용을 고려한 Oil Boom의 누유특성 (Failure Characteristics of Oil Boom Considering the Nonlinear Interaction of Oil Boom with Waves)

  • 역동적인 파랑에 노출되는 경우 다양한 failure mode를 쉽게 드러내는 Oil boom의 성능을 개선하기 위해 가장 정교한 파랑모형인 spatially filtered Navier-Stokes 식을 LES (Large Eddy Simulation), 잔차응력에 대한 LDS (Lagrangian Dynamic Smagorinsky 모형), SPH (Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics) 기법을 활용하여 해석하는 새로운 수치모형이 제언되었다. 이어 부유식 Oil Boom의 누유특성을 규명하기 위해 oil spill, progressive wave, oil boom의 상호작용을 oil boom이 계류삭에 고정되어있는 경우와 oil boom의 excursion이 허용된 경우에 대해 각각 수치모의 하였다. 모의결과 oil boom의 skirt 길이가 수심의 30% 이상이고 excursion이 허용된 경우 oil spill의 차폐 기능은 극대화되는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이와 더불어 y = 1~2 m 사이에 오일막과 해수의 경계층에서 생성된 와류가 저면으로 확산되면서 시계방향과 반 시계방향의 와류가 엇갈리게 생성되는 coherent eddies가 관측되어 수리실험을 통해 그 존재가 알려진 Kelvin-Helmholz파의 성장과정과 계면으로부터의 일탈과정이 수치모의된 것으로 판단된다.

양산단층지역에 분포하는 퇴적암 및 화성암류에 대한 고자기 연구 (Palaeomagnetic Study of Sedimentary and Igneous Rocks in the Yangsan Strike-slip Fault Area, SE Korea)

  • It is a well known fact that the remanent magnetization direction of the Tertiary rocks is deflected significantly clockwise (about $50^{\circ}$) in the Tertiary basins of the southeastern part of Korean peninsula. This fact has been interpreted as an evidence of north-south spreading of the East Sea (Sea of Japan) and dextral strike-slip motion of the Yangsan fault. As deflection (rotation) of remanent magnetizations is frequently reported from various regions of the world in the vicinities of strike-slip fault, such phenomena are to be expected in the Yangsan fault region also. It was the purpose of this study to clarify whether such premise is right or not. A total of 445 independently oriented core samples were collected from Cretaceous rocks of various lithology (sedimentary rocks, andesites and I-type granites) in the Yangsan fault area. In spite of through AF and thermal demagnetization experiments, no sign of remanent magnetization deflection was found. Instead, palaeomagnetic poles calculated from formation-mean ChRM directions are very similar to those of contemporary (Barremian, and late Cretaceous-Tertiary) sedimentary and plutonic rocks in the other parts of $Ky{\check{o}}ngsang$ basin as well as those of China. Therefore, possibility of tilting of granite plutons and horizontal block rotation of study area is excluded. It is also concluded that the Yangsan fault did not take any significant role in the Cenozoic tectonic evolution of southeast Korea and the East Sea region. The boundary between rotated and unrotated region of remanent magnetization is not the Yangsan fault line, but must lie further east of it.

Assessment of Magnetic Field Mitigation and Electrical Environmental Effects for Commercially Operating 154kV Transmission Lines with Passive Loop

  • Power frequency magnetic field is still a critical problem for new construction of overhead power transmission lines in Korea because most people have been concerned about possibly carcinogenic effects of it. Although reference level of power frequency(60Hz) magnetic field has been set to 200uT in ICNIRP guidelines published in 2010, Korean government has no intention of adjusting 83.3uT specified by law in 2006 to this new reference level in consideration of people's concerns for the time being. Regardless of the current regulated magnetic field value, electric utility company has been trying to reduce magnetic field in the residential area in the vicinity of overhead power transmission lines to take into account of public concerns on the long-term effect of magnetic fields. In an effort to reduce magnetic field, engineering side has made considerable efforts to develop passive loop based, cost-effective mitigation technique of power frequency magnetic field more than ten years. In order to verify developed power frequency magnetic field mitigation technique based on passive loop, a horizontal type of passive loop was designed and installed for commercially operating 154kV overhead power transmission line for the first time in Korea. The measurement results before and after the installation of passive loop showed that magnetic field could be reduced to about 20%. The electrical environmental effects such as AN, RI and TVI were assessed before and after the installation of passive loop and these values were complied with the requirements specified by electric utility. It has been confirmed from the field test results that passive loop could be commercially and cost-effectively utilized to mitigate power frequency magnetic field.

조명환경구역 구분을 위한 도심상업지역 보행자 도로의 조도분포 실태조사 (A Study on the Illuminance Distribution on the Pedestrian Road at the Central Business District for Classifying lighting Environments)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 도심상업지역의 조도실태를 조사하여, CIE 조명환경구역 규정이 국내에 적용 가능한가를 검토하는 것이다. 현장조사를 통하여 도심상업지역 보행자 도로의 수평면 조도와 수직면 조도를 측정하였고, 조명환경에 대한 보행자의 만족도를 조사하기 위하여 설문을 실시하였다. 조사가 이루어진 장소는 모두 4곳으로 보행자 도로의 조명상태와 야간의 보행자 수가 각각 다른 곳이었다. 조도측정 결과 인구유동 및 조명상태에 따라 조도값이 차이를 보이고 있었으며, 설문조사 결과 보행자도로의 조도가 보행자의 조명환경 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 CIE 조명환경구역의 조도 규정은 국내 도심상업지역에 적용할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 거푸집 공사는 부실공사의 예방 및 인력절감과 저비용 고효율의 공사관리 차원에서 공법개선이 요구되고 있으며, 자재 및 공법 채용과정에서 경제성과 합리화를 꾀하는 일은 전체 공사에 큰 영향을 미친다. 공사 효율성 제고를 위한 합판계 유로폼의 대체공법과 거푸집 폐자재의 재생기술, 고기능성 거푸집, 친환경을 고려한 재생 가능한 거푸집 등 경제, 시공, 안전측면에서의 효과적인 거푸집 개발 필요성이 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 구조체 공사 공기를 단축하고, 인력투입을 최소화하여 원가를 절감시키고, 조립 해체 과정에서 작업의 생산성과 안전성이 확보된 사출성형방식의 합성수지계 재생유로폼 공법을 개발하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이에 1차적으로 제반 요구성능 및 필요기술에 대하여 조사하고, 이를 바탕으로 개발기술의 타당성 검토와 기존 거푸집 및 선행기술과의 비교 분석을 실시하고, 성능 평가를 실시하였다.

A Study on Unsaturated Zone Characterization and Feasibility of Soil Vapor Extraction at a DNAPL-contaminated Site in Korea

  • This study aimed at characterizing unsaturated zone at the source zone area contaminated by DNAPL and investigating feasibility of soil vapor extraction (SVE). Five boreholes with three multi-level screens at the depth of 3.0~4.5 m, 5.5~7.0 m, and 8.0~12.0 m were installed at the source zone. Pneumatic tests were performed to determine the permeability of porous medium. Permeability was estimated to be 81.6 to 203.7 darcy, depending on the applied solutions, which was contradicted by grain size analysis of cored soil samples leading to 3.51 darcy. This is due to air flow through gravel pack during the early stage of pneumatic test. Pressure-drawdown curve in the late stage also well showed the leaky aquifer type, indicating air leakage to the ground. Air flow tests were also carried out to investigate air flow connectivity between multi-level wells, indicating that the horizontal air flow was well developed between the lower screens of the wells, not between the upper and middle screens due to the leakage to the surface. For the SVE test, there was no noticeable variation in TCE vapor concentration between three different test runs: 1. 8 hours daily for 5 days, 2. 24 hours together with air blowing at another well (BH1), 3. five consecutive days. Even for five-day consecutive test, total amount of removed TCE was estimated only to be as low as 46.5 g.

필렛 용접부의 비접촉 초음파 검사 기법 (Non-contact Ultrasonic Inspection Technology of Fillet Weldments)

  • The non-destructive Inspection of the fillet weldment has difficulties due to its geometrical complexity and uneasy access. The surface shear horizontal wave (SH-wave), however, has been successfully applied to the detection of cracks on the surface and sub-surface of the filet weldment heel part. The conventional ultrasonic inspection using the surface SH-wave is usually a contact method using piezoelectric transducer. Thus, it is not suitable for a field application because the reliability and repeatability of inspection are significantly affected by test conditions such as couplant, contact pressure and pre-process. In order to overcome this problem, a non-contact SH-wave inspection method using EMAT is propose. The experimental results with this non-contact method are compared with those with a conventional ultrasonic method in fillet weldment with slit type defects. It is shown that the non-contact inspection technique requires simple procedure and less time in the fillet weldment inspection.

Genetic Relatedness within Streptococcus pneumoniae Serotype 19F and 23F Isolates in Korea by Pulsed-Field Gel Electrophoresis

  • The genetic relatedness of multidrug-resistant pneumococcal isolates of serotypes 19F and 23F was investigated. The DNA fragments digested with Sma I were resolved by pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE). PFGE analysis of 365. pneumoniae isolates showed 13 different patterns. Among 22 isolates of serotype 19F, 9 different PFGE patterns were present and 14 isolates of serotype 23F isolates represented 5 distinct PFGE patterns. Two isolates of serotype 19F and six isolates of serotype 23F shared the same PFGE pattern (Pattern I). Based on the genetic relatedness within the strains (one genetic cluster was defined as having more than 85% homology), we divided the pneumococcal strains into genefic clusters (Ⅰ, II, III, IV, V, and VI). The 22 strains of serotype 19F belonged to five distinct genetic clusters (I, II, III, IV, V and VI) and 14 strains of serotype 23F represented two genetic clusters (I and II ). These results showed that strains of serotype 19F are genetically more diverse than those of serotype 23F, Serotype 19F isolates with PFGE patterns H and I appeared to be less related to those of the remaining PFCE patterns (A to G) (less than 60% genetic relatedness), but those strains were genetically closely related with serotype 23f. These results suggest that the latter isolates originated from horizontal transfer of the capsular type 19F gene locus to 23F pneumococcal genotypes. In conclusion, the multidrug-resistant pneumococcal isolates of serotype 19f and 23F isolated in Korea are the result of the spread of a limited number of resistant clones.
