The effect of hooking on thickness and length of branch line in fishing gear of long line at the coastal waters (연안 연승어구에 있어서 아릿줄의 굵기와 길이가 조획에 미치는 영향)

  • As a basic study to improve hooking ability of long line fishing gear, which is widely used around Jeju-do coast, the researcher performed hooking experiment of parrot fish by manufacturing and installing 7 kinds of model long line fishing gears, whose thickness of branch line are different and 8 kinds of model long line fishing gear, whose length of branch line are different, in indoor circular aquarium, which is installed for the model experiment of thickness and length of branch line that are various by fishing implement and improper. The hooking rate depending on thickness and length of branch line was calculated and the effect of thickness and length of branch line on hooking rate was analyzed. Its results are as follows. When branch line was thin and long, high hooking rate appeared. In the scope of value setting, the relationship between thickness ($B_t$) of branch line and total hooking rate ($Th_r$) can be shown as following formula as. In the scope of value setting, the relationship between length ($B_t$) of branch line and total hooking rate ($B_t$) can be shown as $Th_r=-20.83B_t+26.04$. Through Pearson correlation analysis, the coefficient of correlation between thickness of branch line and hooking rate was -0.718. Therefore it showed significance in 0.01 significance level. Through Pearson correlation analysis, the coefficient of correlation between length of branch line and hooking rate was 0.431. Therefore it showed significance in 0.01 significance level.

  • Hooking 기법은 역사적으로 아주 오래된 기법으로 기원전에 이미 에집트 및 스칸디나 반도의 국가들에서 사용되었다는 기록이 있으나 본격적인 발전은 19세기 초반을 전후하여 미국의 서민층에서 수직양탄자를 제작하는데 사용함으로써 이루어지게 되었다. 이러한 hooking기법은 근래에 들어 섬유계에서도 특수한 목적으로 가끔 사용하여 왔는데, 섬유에 사용하면 시각적인 입체감을 나타내게 되고 독특한 촉감을 얻을 수 있기 때문에 앞으로 섬유계의 다방면에 이용될 수 있는 가능성을 갖고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 hooking기법의 역사적배경을 이해하기 위하여 미국에서의 hooked rug의 기원 및 발전에 대하여 문헌을 중심으로 고찰하였다.

  • Recently, Due to development of Internet techniques, user suddenly increased that Used of Web services and with out constraints of place and time has been provided. typically, Web services used ID/Password authentication. User confirmed personal data Stored on Web servers after user authorized. web service provider is to provide variety security techniques for the protection personal information. However, recently accident has happened is the malicious attackers may capture user information such as users entered personal information through new keyboard hooking. In this paper, we propose a keyboard hooking protected password input method using CAPTCHA. The proposed password input method is based on entering the password using mouse click or touch pad on the CAPTCHA image. The mapping of CAPTCHA image pixels is random.

  • Recently, malicious attacks for Windows operate through Window API hooking in the Windows Kernel. This paper presents the API hooking attack and protection techniques based on Windows kernel. Also this paper develops a detection tool for Windows API hooking that enables to detect dll files which are operated in the kernel. Proposed tool can detect behaviors that imports from dll files or exports to dll files such as kernel32.dll, snmpapi.dll, ntdll.dll and advapidll.dll, etc.. Test results show that the tool can check name, location, and behavior of API in testing system.

  • Primitive chain network model for block copolymers is used here to simulate molecular dynamics in the entangled state with acceptable computational cost. It was found that i) the hooking procedure rearranging the topology of the entangled network is critical for the equilibrium structure of the system, and ii) simulations accounting for the different chemistry, i.e., with a biased hooking probability based on interaction parameter ${\chi}$ for selection of the hooked partner, generates a reasonable phase diagram.

  • This paper shows the GUI-sharing mechanism based on GDI hooking that can be useful for group users to ,share application programs dedicated to specific systems in distributed environments. In order to implement a networked-group working for real-time bases, an application-sharing mechanism should be necessary. This paper presents the implementation issues of application-sharing mechanism and provides a way of group working by implementation of GDI hooking module using GDI library in Windows 95 environment.

  • Advances in encryption technology to secret communication and information security has been strengthened. Cryptovirus is the advent of encryption technology to exploit. Also, anyone can build and deploy malicious code using windows CAPI. Cryptovirus and malicious code using windows CAPI use the normal windows API. So vaccine software and security system are difficult to detect and analyze them. This paper examines and make hooking tool against Crytovirus and malicious code using windows CAPI.

Hooking rate and bait loss rate of traditional hairtail hand line according to immersion time in the coastal waters of Jeju (제주 연안 재래식 갈치 채낚기의 침지시간에 의한 조획률 및 미끼 탈락률)

  • This paper is to investigate the effect of the immersion time in the traditional hairtail hand line for developing the fishing methods and the fishing gear in the coast of jeju. The operating of 32 times was made with each different immersion time of hairtail hand line, and the relations between the catch and the immersion time were examined. As the result, targeted species rate was over 98% of total catch. From about 800 seconds after casting, the hooking rate was decreased and the bite loss rate was increased, it seems to be made by the decreasing factors of predators including the cutting of branch lines etc. In addition, it was supposed that the hooking rate and the bait loss rate had a deep connection with feeding time zone. The level of the correlation coefficient of the bait loss rate according to the immersion time was 0.54 at $p{\leq}0.01$, in the case of the hooking rate, 0.59 was chosen after about 800 seconds. The hooking rate and the bait loss rate according to the hook number were not irrelevant to the fish school layer. Additionally, it was assumed that the bait loss rate was related to the depth of water.
