반복하중을 받는 강섬유보강 고강도 콘크리트 외측보-기둥 접합부의 거동에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Behavior of Exterior Beam-Column Joints with Steel Fiber Reinforced High Strength Concrete Subjected to Cyclic Loads)

  • The objective of this study is to investigate the hysteretic behaviors of exterior beam-column joints with high strength concrete (f'c≒1000kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$) subjected to cyclic loads. Four exterior subassemblages scaled down about 60% were tested, whose variables were with/without shear reinforcements and with/without slab and spandrel beams. Hoop bars and hooked steel fibers were used as the shear reinforcements. The test results showed that using hooked steel fiber reinforced concrete with volume ratio 1.5% at beam-column joints was very effective to resist shear stress due to cyclic loads.

  • Increases in strength and ductilities of steel fiber reinforced concrete(SFRC) under direct tension and compression result in improvements of flexural behavior of reinforced steel fibrous concrete beam(RSFCB) Use of hooked steel fibers in stead of round steel fibers enhances futher the structural porperties of a beam due to their greater mechanical bond resistance compared to that of round steel fibers. Flexural strength, initial stiffness ductility and failure mechani는 of RSFCB are dependent upon material and structural parameters and among which are the volume fraction of fibers, reinforcement ratio, and casting depth of SFRC in a beam section. The flexural behavior of RSFCB's are examined experimentally in this study and some conclusions are made regarding those effects of main material and structural parameters on the overall behavior of RSFCB.

차량형 로봇을 이용한 다중 Off-Hooked 트레일러의 후진 제어 (Backward-Motion Control of Multiple Off-Hooked Trailers Using a Car-Like Mobile Robot)

  • It is difficult to find a practical solution for the backward-motion control of a car-like mobile robot with n passive trailers. Unlike an omni-directional robot, a car-like mobile robot has nonholonomic constraints and limitations of the steering angle. For these reasons, the backward motion control problem of a car-like mobile robot with $n$ passive trailers is not trivial. In spite of difficulties, backing up a trailer system is useful for parking control. In this study, we proposed a mechanical alteration which is connecting $n$ passive trailers to the front bumper of a car to improve the backward motion control performance. Theoretical verification and simulations show that the backward-motion control of a general car with n passive trailers can be successfully carried out by using the proposed approach.

고인성 섬유보강 시멘트 복합재료의 휨인성 밀도 (Flexural toughness density of High Performance Fiber Reinforced Cementitious Composites)

  • 본 연구는 최근 많은 관심을 받고 있는 고인성 섬유 보강 시멘트 복합재료의 휨 하중 하에서 에너지 흡수 능력을 시험체의 크기와 관계없이 비교 평가할 수 있게 하는 휨인성 밀도를 처음으로 제시하였다. 두가지 종류의 강섬유 (Hooked and Twisted steel fiber)를 두가지 휨인장시험체 크기($100{\times}100{\times}350mm^3$ and $150{\times}150{\times}500mm^3$)를 사용하여, 고인성 섬유보강 시멘트 복합재료에 대한 휨 시험을 수행하였고, 새로 제안된 휨인성 밀도 값을 제시하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the mechanical anchorage, namely MAB-BOP (Mechanical Anchorage of 90$^{\circ}$ Hooked Bars with BOlt nad Plate) of the beam-column joint in precast concrete framed structures. Six specimens simulating typical interior beam-column joints were tested to investigate the mechanical characteristics of MAB-BOP. Of primary interest was the measurement of the slip of the anchored bar. Th load-slip curve obtained from this test were used to compare the mechanical performances of the different anchoring methods. Based on the test results, it was found that MAB-BOP showed sufficient anchoring strength capacity compared to 90$^{\circ}$ hooked bar method. So, MAB-BOP can be used as the anchoring methods of the reinforcing bars in PC beam-column joint.

강섬유보강 초속경시멘트 콘크리트의 휨인성 및 피로거동 (Flexural Toughness and Fatigue Behavior of Steel Fiber Reinforced Rapid-set Cement Concrete)

  • This study is conducted on the flexural toughness and flexural fatigue test to fine the mechanical properties of steel fiber reinforced rapid-set cement concrete. Experimental investigation is examined according to fiber contents(0, 0.4, 0.7, 1.0, 1.5%), fiber aspect ratio(58, 60, 83), fiber type (hooked, crimped fiber), and cement type (normal portland & rapid-set cement). The principal results obtained through this study are as follows; toughness and fatigue resistance tend to considerably increase with fiber contents, fiber aspect ration. And hooked fiber is improved better than crimped fiber. Concrete using rapid set cement is increased strength properties compared with concrete using normal portland cement, but relative strength properties behavior and fatigue resistance show a tendency to decrease a little.

  • In this study, it evaluate the electromagnetic pulse shielding performance of amorphous metallic fiber reinforced cement composite with other steel fiber reinforced cement composite. Hooked-ended steel fiber, smooth steel fiber and amorphous metallic fiber were reinforced 2.0 vol.% in cement composites respectively. The electromagnetic pulse shielding performance was evaluated by MIL-STD-188-125-1. As a result, shielding performance of amorphous metallic fiber reinforced cement composite was higher than Hooked-ended and smooth steel fiber reinforced cement composites. In addition, the relationship between the electrical conductivity and the electromagnetic pulse shielding performance of the cement composite was confirmed.

  • This report is the results of an experimental study on the relative effectiveness of different types of steel fiber in concrete. The fibers considered in the study were straight-indent and hooked-collated with aspect ratios of about 50~100. A fiber volume of 0~2 percent was used throughout this investigation. The fresh fibrous mixes were characterized by the slump and vebe-time, and the hardened materials by their compressive and flexural load-deflection relationships. Hooked fibers were found to be more effective than straight ones in improving the strength and energy absorption of concrete.

  • This paper studies the response of seismic behavior of reinforced concrete exterior beam-column joints under reversal loading with different anchorages and joint core details. The joint core was detailed without much confinement (group-I) and/or with proposed X-cross bars in the core (group-II). The beam longitudinal reinforcement's anchorages were designed as per ACI 352 (headed bars), ACI 318 (conventional $90^{\circ}$ bent hooks) and IS 456 ($90^{\circ}$ bent hooks with extended tails). The nonlinear finite element analysis response of the beam-column joints was studied, along with initial and progressive cracks up to failure. The experimental and analytical results were compared and presented in this paper to make more scientific conclusions.

  • In this study, the flexural behavior of fiber-reinforced concrete by fiber type were evaluated. As a result, the flexural strength of the hooked steel fiber-reinforced concrete(HSFRC) was lower than that of the amorphous metallic fiber reinforced concrete(AFRC), however it was shown strain-softening behavior by the pull-out of fiber. The flexural strength and the equivalent flexural strength of polyamide fiber-reinforced concrete(PAFRC) were lower than other specimens, but the equivalent flexural strength ratio was similar to that of AFRC. The flexural behavior of the fiber-reinforced concrete was associated with the bonding and pull-out properties of the fiber and matrix depending on the fiber type.
