This study examined the effect of using web-based distance program in home health education for nursing college students in COVID-19 special disaster area. The study was carried out according a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The study subjects were 49 nursing college students from K City, Gyeongsangbuk-do. The web-based distance program was conducted for 2 weeks. The data collection period was from June 1, 2020 to June 12, 2020. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS PC+ 19.0 with the Fisher' exact test, Wilcoxon rank sum test, ANCOVA with pretest value as covariate. The experimental group had significantly different in knowledge related home health nursing, perceived motivation, and learning commitment in comparison to the control group. This suggests that the web-based distance program in the COVID-19 special disaster area can be applied as a way to increase nursing students' knowledge related home health nursing, perceived motivation, and learning commitment.

USB has arguably become the most successful PC peripheral interconnect ever defined. As appearing UWB, wireless USB (WUSB) emerges very popular technology. However, the distributed Medium Access Control (MAC) does not harmonize with the topology of WUSB. In this paper, we address a novel MAC protocol for conformity with WUSB. The protocol is to handle negotiation on Distributed Reservation Protocol (DRP) including the channel time slot of WUSB.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the psychophysical correponding to temperature and to establish the comfort zone of thermal environment for Korean in winter. An experimental investigation was carried out in climate chamber maintaining the air temperature at 20, 22, 24, 26℃ and subjects were 128 college-age Korean(64 males and 64 females) in good health. Data were analyzed by SPSS PC＋ packages. 'Neutral' on the thermal sensation ratings was most frequently indicated at 24℃ by subjects was 23.1℃ (male 24.0℃, female 22.7℃), therefore the comfort zone of thermal environment in winter was considered as 23∼24℃.

The present study investigated the use of a computerized program for construction of menu. The Computer used for this study was the personal computer type IBM-PC OA-16 XT. The program itself used the computer's“DBASE Ⅲ”. Preparation for computer programming: 1) Assigned special code number of menu and input data 2) Assigned special code number of recipe and input data 3) Menu construction The computerized program for the planning of menu according to user's condition was developed.

For home networking system with a function of air quality monitoring, a wireless sensor module with several air quality monitoring sensors was developed for indoor environment monitoring system in home networking. The module has various enlargements for various kinds of sensors such as humidity sensor, temperature sensor, CO2 sensor, flying dust sensor, and etc. The developed wireless module is very convenient to be installed on the wall of a room or office, and the sensors in the module can be easily replaced due to well designed module structure and RF connection method. To reduce the system cost, only one RF transmission block was used for sensors' signal transmission to 8051 microcontroller board in time sharing method. In this home networking system, various indoor environmental parameters could be monitored in real time from RF wireless sensor module. Indoor vision was transferred to client PC or PDA from surveillance camera installed indoor or desired site. Web server using Oracle DB was used for saving the visions by web-camera and various data from wireless sensor module.

Purpose: This study is to identify the types of role awareness of home health care specialists working at medical institutions, to understand their role awareness correctly by grasping the quality of each type, and to provide useful help in the education of home health care specialists. Method: Q-methodology is used to objectify role awareness of medical institution specialists who may recognize situations differently according to their individual experience and comprehension based on the view of behavior. Q-classification was carried out on 30 home health care specialists working at medical institutions using 30 selected questions. Collected data were examined through factor analysis using QUANL PC program. Results: Three different types of role awareness of home health care specialists working at medical institutions were identified. Type I is 'educational-function-centered', Type II 'patient-centered' and Type III 'professional-service-centered'. Conclusion: Regardless of these types, home health care specialists commonly had a high pride as a specialist and a sense of mission regarding themselves as important persons responsible for patients' health.

Middleware enables different networking devices and protocols to inter-operate in ubiquitous home network environments. The UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) middleware, which runs on a PC and is based on the IPv4 protocol, has attracted much interest in the field of home network research since it has versatility The UPnP, however, cannot be easily accessed via the public Internet since the UPnP devices that provide services and the Control Points that control the devices are configured with non-routable local private or Auto IP networks. The critical question is how to access UPnP network via the public Internet. The purpose of this paper is to deal with the non-routability problem in local private and Auto IP networks by improving the conventional Control Point used in UPnP middleware-based home networks. For this purpose, this paper proposes an improved Control Point for accessing and controlling the home network from remote sites via the public Internet, by adding a web server to the conventional Control Point. The improved Control Point is implemented in an embedded GNU/Linux system running on an ARM9 platform. Also this paper implements the security of the home network system based on the UPnP (Universal Plug and Play), adding VPN (Virtual Private Network) router that uses the IPsec to the home network system which is consisted of the ARM9 and the Embedded Linux.

In this study, we tried to evaluate the mechanical properties of Polycarbonate(PC) and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene(ABS) plastic materials, which are frequently used as parts of home appliances and machinery, when repeated impacts were applied. A repeating impact tester for this research was designed and manufactured to apply repetitive impacts. Two types of plastic were repeatedly impacted under a constant load, and a tensile test was performed on the plastic material that was impacted. The tensile strength of PC plastic materials that received impact more than 2000 times was reduced by about 45 % and elongation was reduced by about 10 % when compared to impact free specimens. On the other hand, in ABS plastic, a reduction of tensile strength of about 20 % was observed at about 2,000 impacted specimen, but at about 20,000 repetitive impacted specimen, a tensile strength decrease of about 65 % was observed. And the elongation was reduced by 10 % due to the cyclic harding behavior of the material.

홈 PC에 저장된 미디어 콘텐츠 파일을 다양한 용도로 활용하기 위한 사용자의 관심이 커짐에 따라, 홈 PC의 콘텐츠 활용에 대한 연구도 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 원격에서 홈 PC의 콘텐츠에 직접 접근하여 실시간으로 파일을 검색하고 재생하는 방법에 대해서는 연구가 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 콘텐츠 관리 및 홈 데이터베이스를 포함하는 미디어 라이브러리, 그리고 미디어 라이브러리에게 명령을 주고받으며 원격 콘텐츠를 재생하는 미디어 브라우저로 이루어진 홈-모바일 콘텐츠 공유 시스템을 제안하고 설계 및 구현한다.
