  • 과학이 주는 가장 큰 이점인 인간의 편리함을 추구하는데 있어서 자동화라는 개념을 빼 놓을 수는 없을 것이다. 특히 인간생활의 기본이 되는 가정에서의 편리성은 항상 최우선되어져 왔다. 본 논문은 미래 사회 핵심 기술인 자동화의 가장 근본이 되는 Home Automation에 암호화 알고리즘을 통한 출입문 제어 시스템의 구현과 유비쿼터스의 개념을 도입하는 것에 그 목적이 있다. 현재까지 출입문 제어 시스템에 관한 수많은 논의와 연구가 이루어 졌지만 기존의 키 인증 방식은 한계가 존재하였다. 이에 인중서 개념 도입을 통한 암호화 알고리즘을 선보이고 기존의 키 인증시스템의 문제점을 해결하고 보안상의 문제도 해결하는 방법을 제안한다.

  • 기존의 홈 자동화 시스템은 유선 전화망을 이용하여 사용자는 집으로 전화를 걸어 안내방송에 따라 서비스 코드를 입력하는 방식이었다. 하지만 이러한 음성 제어 방식은 사용자가 서비스 코드를 인식해야 하는 경우 주위 환경이나 통화 상태에 따라 사용이 불편할 수 있고 신뢰도가 떨어질 수 있으며 유지 보수적인 면에서 확장성이 낮은 단점을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 WAP을 이용한 무선 홈 자동화 제어 시스템을 소개하며 이 시스템은 WAP 서비스를 이용하여 집안의 가전기기를 제어하거나 기기의 상태 정보 등을 사용자의 무선 핸드폰으로 전달해 주는 시스템이다. 즉, 무선인터넷 프로토콜인 WAP을 이용하여 시각적으로 사용자에게 시스템 정보를 전달해 주도록 했으며, 운영체제가 포팅(porting)된 임베디드 시스템을 사용함으로써 홈 자동화 제어 시스템이 쉽게 확장 가능하도록 설계 및 구현하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 홈 오토메이션용 제어 통신망에 널리 사용되는 Ethernet, CEBus, Lonworks 통신규약에 대해서 성능을 분석하고 이를 평가한다. 각 통신시스템의 MAC 규약을 살펴보고 시간 해석에 관한 분석을 제시한다. 본 논문에서는 평균 지연 시간, 네트워크 이용률, 전송 성공 확률 등을 성능분석의 지표로 사용한다. 이를 이용하여 각 통신 규약에 대해 시뮬레이션 결과를 비교, 분석한다.

  • Wireless sensor network-related application system can perform functions such as environmental pollution monitoring, building control, home automation in future. In this paper, we present wireless sensor network based system for subway station in order to reduce the damage of the people and the subway station due to fire. Sensor nodes in this system can sense temperature, illumination, smoke, and human body in real time and detect the accident in the subway station. These real-time sensing and wireless networking minimize casualties and damage to property.

  • Recently, the smart phone, a carrying along terminal connection technology such as Galaxytap/iPad etc. evolves, and supply is increasing rapidly, is included for smart phone because various sensor technologies are developed and service application that is acted in terminal with this is accompanied and grow. Continuously 4 generation to 3 Gs, Wibro Wireless network technology of communications a LTE technology from that is constructed, environment for Ubiquitous realization is being constructed fast. Therefore, in this paper it can inquire state of electronic, furniture devices through apartment complex web server and gear that control groove network at smart phone, and control, and confirms home state prevention of crimes state, and video inquiry of position that CCTV is placed in apartment complex was available. And it proposed integrated smart apartment with parking system and medical system using RFID system in ubiquitous environment.

  • The Internet of things (IoT) needs to be an event-driven approach for efficient related time response and processing. The growth of mobile devices in Internet of Things (IoT) leads to a number of intelligent buildings related IoT applications. For instance, home automation controlling system uses client system such web apps on smartphone or web service to access the home server by sending control commands. The gateway based RESTful technology responsible for handling clients'requests attests an internet latency in case a large number of clients' requests submit toward the gateway increases. In this paper, we propose the design tasks of the IoT gateway for handling concurrency events. The gateway based event-driven architecture is designed for building IoT gateway using node.js on one side and communication protocol based message-oriented middleware known as XMPP to handle communications of intelligent building control devices connected to the gateway through a centralized hub.

Fault Detection in the Two-for-One Twister

  • The two-for-one(TFO) twister is precision machinery that twists fibers rapidly under constant tension. Since the quality of the twisted yarn is directly deteriorated by faults of the twister, such as the distortion of the spinning axis, bearing abrasion, and tension irregularity, it is important to detect faults of the TFO twister at an early stage. In this research, a new algorithm is proposed to detect faults of the TFO twister and their causes, by measuring the vibrations of the TFO twister and obtaining frequency components with a FFT algorithm. The TFO twister with faults showed increased vibrations and each fault generated vibrations at different frequencies. By analyzing changes of characteristics of vibrations, we can determine faulty twisters. The proposed fault detection algorithm can be implemented cheaply with a signal processor chip. It can be used to find when to repair a faulty TFO twister without much loss of yam on-line.

  • A new bilateral series resonant inverter and its control method are proposed. The proposed inverter consists of zero current switched cycloconverter. Output voltage is regulated by modulating the average magnitude of resonant current sinusoidally. Cycloconverter synthesizes low frequency output voltage from high frequency resonant current pulses. In the proposed inverter, bidirectional power flow in possible and isolation transformer is miniaturized. The proposed control method is verified through simulation and experiment. The proposed inverter will satisfy the small size and low cost requirements of small Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) of less than 1 KVA suitable for micro-computers and electronic equipments used in office and home automation.

  • As the smart factory progresses, the use of automation facilities and robots is increasing. Also, with the development of IT technology, the utilization of the system using voice recognition is also increasing. Voice recognition technology is a technology that stands out in smart home and various IoT technologies, but it is difficult to apply to factories due to the specificity of factories. Therefore, in this study, a method to control an industrial articulated robot was designed using voice recognition technology that considers the situation at the manufacturing site. It was confirmed that the robot could be controlled through network protocol and command conversion after receiving voice commands for robot operation through mobile.

A Study on the Actuator for Robot Control Using Wireless ZigBee Sensor Networks

  • The Interest in robotics has been steadily increasing in recent times both in Korea as well as abroad. Research on robots for new and diverse fields is ongoing. This study discusses the current research and development on robot actuator, which are used to control the joints of robots, and focuses on developing more efficient technology for joint control, as compared with the current technologies. It also aims to find means to apply the abovementioned technology to diverse industrial fields. We found that easy and effective control of actuators could be achieved by using ZigBee sensor networks, which were widely being used on wireless communications. Throughout the experiments it is proved that the developed wireless actuator could be used for easy control of various robot joints. This technology can be effectively applied to develop two-legged robots that will be able to walk like human, or even quadruped and hexapod robots. It can also be applied to motors used in industry. In this study, we develop an extremely minimized ZigBee sensor network module that can be used to control various servo motors with low power consumption even if it is long distances. We realized effective wireless control by optimizing the ZigBee antenna, and were able to quickly check the status of relevant Tree node through mutual communication between the servo motors composing the ZigBee sensor network and the main server control modules. The developed Servo Motor with ZigBee sensor network modules can be applied in both robotics as well as for home or factory automation.
