A large body of previous studies investigated mathematical tasks by analyzing the design process prior to lessons or textbooks. While researchers have revealed the significant roles of mathematical tasks within written curricular, there has been a call for studies about how mathematical tasks are implemented or what is experienced and learned by students as enacted curriculum. This article proposes a mathematical task analytic framework based on a holistic definition of tasks encompassing both written tasks and the process of task enactment. We synthesized the features of the mathematical tasks and developed a task analytic framework with multiple dimensions: breadth, depth, bridging, openness, and interaction. We also applied the scoring rubric to analyze three multiplication tasks to illustrate the framework by its five dimensions. We illustrate how a series of tasks are analyzed through the framework when students are engaged in multiplicative thinking. The framework can provide important information about the qualities of planned tasks for mathematics instruction (proactive) and the qualities of implemented tasks during instruction (reactive). This framework will be beneficial for curriculum designers to design rich tasks with more careful consideration of how each feature of the tasks would be attained and for teachers to transform mathematical tasks with the provision of meaningful learning activities into implementation.

Major approaches of Social epidemiology; 1)holistic, ecological approach, 2)population based approach, 3)development and life-course approach, 4)contextual multi-level approach, have stressed the importance of not only social context of health and illness, but also the population based strategy in the health interventions. Ultimately, it provides the conceptual guidelines and methodological tools to lead toward the healthy public policies; integrated efforts to improve condition which people live: secure, safe, adequate, and sustainable livelihoods, lifestyles, and environments, including housing, education, nutrition, information exchange, child care, transportation, and necessary community and personal social and health services.

Although the general concept of suffering care includes palliative care technology for terminally ill person to alleviate his pain, it is much more holistic including emotional, spiritual and other life dimension. This inclusive concept of caring can be possible with the fundamental reflection on the human suffering. Far from the concept of pain understood in the context of materialist medical approach, human suffering has many dimensions including aesthetic, psychological, and religious: its meaning is holistic. With this perspective, the experience of the suffering client must be reconsidered before one starts with an objective side or a subjective side of suffering. Indeed, the actual strategies of suffering care can be different depending on the definition of human suffering accepted by practicians. In this caring perspective, the body, mind and spirit are integrated so the objectivity and subjectivity can merge; the extended awareness with inner resource or energy, and the positive thinking about the God is meaningful especially for dying person, his family members and the caring team. Despite this impending importance of the inclusive understanding of human suffering, the actual nursing practice still does not reflect this growing understanding of human suffering. This approach, which tried to pursuit the more fundamental meaning of human suffering, can contribute to the development of nursing education and practice which pay attention to the more inclusive view of human suffering.

When taught the precise definition of ${\pi}$, students may be simply asked to memorize its approximate value without developing a rigorous understanding of the underlying reason of why it is a constant. Measuring the circumferences and diameters of various circles and calculating their ratios might just represent an attempt to verify that ${\pi}$ has an approximate value of 3.14, and will not necessarily result in an adequate understanding about the constant nor formally proves that it is a constant. In this study, we aim to investigate prospective teachers' conceptual understanding of ${\pi}$, and as a constant and whether they can provide a proof of its constant property. The findings show that prospective teachers lack a holistic understanding of the constant nature of ${\pi}$, and reveal how they teach students about this property in an inappropriate approach through a proving activity. We conclude our findings with a suggestion on how to improve the situation.

This study aims to investigate the presence/absence of subjects in the area of finance insurance sector in the past and corresponding areas of the courses in accordance with the reform of Korean school mathematics curriculum. In addition, the study had analyzed the linkage to the curriculum of the subjects for the Junior High, and High School in accordance with the school mathematics as mathematical knowledge base. As the results of this study, it was identified that the knowledge of mathematical contents addressed in the school mathematics education had a very high connectivity as basic mathematical knowledge to understand and utilize high level of the insurance mathematics required for the job performance in the finance insurance sector.

Based on adolescents' perspectives, this study attempts to explore the distinguishing characteristics of teachers that influence students to positively change in areas such as psychological adaptation and development of their potential. Essays focusing on memories of twenty seven significant teachers written by eighteen adolescents in middle schools and high schools in Daegu, Korea in 2011 were used for analyzing the factors that have influenced them to positively change. Subsequently, five critical factors were identified: warmness and acceptance; encouragement and support; communication and understanding; respect and care; modeling and expectation. The adolescents perceived that those factors not only contributed to their psychological wellbeing but also enabled them to positively change and achieve more in life. Moreover, the educational implications focusing on teachers' productive function and healing power were discussed. The role of teachers in reinforcing and building the character students in order to facilitate their holistic development was dealt with. Finally, the reference for promotion of further studies of the research field was made.

본 연구의 목적은 수학교육, STEAM 교육, 영재교육 전문가를 대상으로 델파이 설문 조사를 통해 수학영재를 위한 STEAM교육 방안을 마련하는 것이다. 총 3차에 걸쳐 이루어진 조사 결과 수학영재들에게 필요한 STEAM교육은 융합적 사고와 창의적 사고를 가지고 새로운 문제를 발견하고 해결하는 데 있어 자기주도적인 탐구를 통하여 다양한 사람들과 의사소통할 수 있는 전인적인 역량을 함양하는 교육이라고 개념화 할 수 있었다. 이에 따라 수학영재를 위한 STEAM교육의 목표와 방법, 내용, 평가 등에 대한 전문가들의 합의를 도출하였으며, 이에 기초한 후속연구로 수학영재를 위한 STEAM 교수-학습 모형을 개발하고자 한다.

미래사회는 창의성뿐만 아니라 인성까지 고루 갖춘 인재를 요구하고 있다. 본 연구는 초등학교 5, 6학년을 대상으로 정보과학 교과의 프로그래밍 교육에 있어 창의적 문제해결 모형인 CPS 모형과 도덕적 내러티브 교육 모형을 통합하여 창의성 인성 통합 프로그래밍 교육 모형을 개발하고 적용하였다. 그 결과, 창의성 향상뿐만 아니라 인성 함양에도 효과가 있었다. 이는 정보과학 교육에 있어 IT인재 육성을 위한 창의성 인성 통합 교육 모형과 교육 과정 등을 개발하는데 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

This study reviewed a recently developed environmental education model 'ENVISION' and analyzed the value of the ENVISION program with environmental education(EE) perspective. Also this study proposed a prototype model of a inquiry-based water environmental education model with watershed concepts as a result of discussion of tills research. In the review of ENVISION, this research followed the theoretical framework of 'Inquiry-Based EE' that was previously proposed by the author. The ENVISION was characterized in tills research as two directions: watershed and scientific inquiry. Tills research argued that the watershed concept has a potentially very good meaning in EE because watershed enables 'holistic' view in EE area, and that the scientific inquiry in ENVISION seeks evidence-based explanation about local watershed environmental problems. That belongs to the scientific inquiry, which is also 'Inquiry-Based EE' and has internal value under EE perspective. Finally, this research proposed a prototype EE model that is about watershed concept, and is based on inquiry as general sense (scientific and insightful inquiries) and 'Environmental Studies for EE, (ESEE)' as the inquiry directions. The proposed model can be said a combination of the watershed concept and inquiry-based EE, and it seems that the model materializes better the EE nature than the ENVISION model.

The intensification of the processes of the digital economy development is leading to the transformation of the higher education system. Universities are forced to digitalize their own educational, research, international, marketing, financial and economic activities in order to maintain a competitive position in the global market of educational services. The purpose of the article is to study the role of information and communication technologies in the development of the higher education system and to ensure its adaptability to modern challenges of digital economy. To achieve this goal, methods of content analysis, logical generalization, systematization and a structural-functional method are used. In the article, the authors substantiate the urgency of forming a holistic strategy to ensure the adaptability of higher education to the challenges of digital economy. In the structure of this strategy, the information-technological block is singled out and described. The authors specified a set of positive synergetic effects from the introduction of modern information and communication technologies in the activities of universities. The main information threats to the digitalization of higher education related to the protection of personal data and university systems from cyberattacks and fraudulent schemes are identified. In conclusion, the authors detail the measures for the strategy implementation to ensure the adaptability of higher education to digital economy.
