This study seeks to analyze the actual operation status of the school history archive, which collects, preserves, and utilizes school history records, and propose improvement strategies. The subjects of this study were divided into unit school history archives established in each school and integrated school history archives, which collect school history records under the jurisdiction of the Office of Education. The types and functions of school history records and school history archives were first identified, and the status of school history archives overseas was investigated. Afterward, interviews were conducted with six unit schools and five Offices of Education to examine the domestic status. The interview questionnaire was structured according to the following aspects: operation status, records and archives management, and archival information services. Based on this, the status and problems of the unit school type and integrated school history archives were identified, and improvement measures in terms of operation, record management, and record information service were proposed. In addition, comprehensive improvement strategies encompassing the unit school and integrated school archives were suggested. The results of this study can serve as useful material for operating and developing school history archives.

The aim of this study is to figure out a good point through comparing Korea's organization with Europe's Record Management regulations and organizations especially Britain, France, Germany. To the end, this study analyze each country's contents and distinctive features of Record Management laws, organizations and preservations for Record Management, training courses for Record Management Professional and business systems for Record Management. As a result of this study, main topic from three country's Record Management system is as follows. 1st, Promoting the use of public records and guaranteing the right of admission. 2nd, Encouraging local archives to be the center of local culture and history research. 3rd, Dividing of Record Management Professionals into levels and training as government official system. 4th, strengthening the collection and preservation of historical personal records.

This article intends to establish a creation, management and preservation process of digital oral records. Because oral records is the work that will record memories of survivors, it is necessary of creating, managing and preserving reliable oral records; Oral records is the work that needs cooperations among interviewer, interviewee and cameraman, the formulation of systematic process can be called an essential issues. Moreover creating, managing and preserving digital oral records need the formulation of systematic process. Therefore this article establish creation process and management and preservation process of digital oral records based on examining a generic character of digital oral records.

This study reviewed the US military government's record management system to fill the gaps in Korea's record management history. The US military government's record management system adopted the concept of "mixed use" between the Japanese Government-General of Korea and the US Army because of the dualized administration and constituency of human resources. In addition, the US Army's record management method was introduced during the US military administration to manage historical records and produce official documents that mix Chinese and English letters.

The earliest record of 'Eum-yang Interlocking(陰陽交)' is in "Hwangjenaegyeong(黃帝內經)". In this article, we reviewed the meaning of the two Chinese Characters 'On'(溫) and "Gyo"(交), discussed the meaning, mechanism and treatment principles of Eum-yang Interlocking and Three Incurable Symptoms in order to provide a theoretical basis for treating the warm febrile disease in modern times.

In this study, solution models are proposed to obtain code-compatible ground motion record sets which can be used for both uni-directional and bi-directional dynamic analyses. Besides scaled, unscaled ground motion record sets are obtained to show the utility and efficiency of the solution models. For scaled ground motion sets the proposed model is based on hybrid HS-Solver which integrates heuristic harmony search (HS) algorithm with the spreadsheet Solver add-in. For unscaled ground motion sets HS based solution model is proposed. Design spectra defined in Eurocode-8 for different soil types are selected as target spectra. The European Strong Motion Database is used to get ground motion record sets. Also, a sensitivity analysis is conducted to evaluate the effect of different HS solution parameters on the solution accuracy. Results show that the proposed solution models can be regarded as efficient ways to develop scaled and unscaled ground motion sets compatible with code-based design spectra.

Objective : The Annals of the Joseon Dynasty is a primary historical record that has provided a great deal of information about what the Joseon Dynasty was like. However, as of yet, we know very little about the medical officers in Joseon dynasty, such as their government posts and official ranks. The purpose of this study is look in to the activities, government posts, and official ranks of the medical personnel by examining Yeongjosillok. Methods : First, I selected historical records containing '醫' in Yeongjosillok. Then, I organized medical officers' name by reading each record. I screened historical records in Yeongjosillok with their names to analyze their activities, government posts, and official ranks. When there was limited information available, I referred to The Daily Records of Royal Secretariat of Joseon Dynasty. Results : I found 262 historical records in Yeongjosillok containing '醫'. Then I found 26 people who served as medical officers in Yeongjosillok. Also, l found that 11 government posts and 7 official ranks were awarded to them throughout the 110 historical records in Yeongjosillok and The Daily Records of Royal Secretariat of Joseon Dynasty. Conclusion : Through this study, I was able to examine the detailed activities of unknown medical officers by studying the historical records in Yeongjosillok and The Daily Records of Royal Secretariat of Joseon Dynasty. Under the Joseon Dynasty's class-based society, the middle class had various restrictions. However, I found that medical officers that belonged to the middle class received exceptional treatment despite their social status.

"HanGaekChiHeom" is a book that arranged the medical records left by a Japanese doctor Junso Higuchi who treated a group of diplomats from Chosun and questions and answers exchanged between him and Chosun's doctor ChoSoongSoo. There are 14 kinds of medical records here with treatments and prescriptions as well as the detailed descriptions about the name, age and symptoms of patients. Various diseases and symptoms are included among them such as bums, common cold, skin diseases, edemas, etc. The characteristics of Junso Higuchi seem to be affected by medicine in Ming Dynasty in China.

In 1607 a delegation was dispatched from Chosun to Japan (under the condition that prisoners of war were returned) to restore the destroyed relationship between the nations due to a war and to restore economic profits. This delegation later on became a delegation representing faith in each other. It contributed greatly to the Korea-Japan cultural exchanges in the 17th and 18th centuries. It was also a cornerstone for the exchange of Korea's distinguished studies as well as medical technology and Japan's results of international trade such as sweet potatoes, pepper, and tobacco. This thesis is one that discusses the study of documents produced during this process.
