Objectives : Most academic societies have their own journals. Those journals represent the trends of academic societies' studies. Therefore, it is important to review articles in journals. Korean Society of Medical History (KSMH) has Journal of Korean Society of Medical History (J. of KSMH). We analyze articles in J. of KSMH and try to recognize the trends. Methods : From Vol. 12 No. 2 in 1999 to Vol. 27 No. 1 in 2014 of the J. of KSMH, we retrieved article's headings and analyzed those subjects. Results : We got 342 research articles about ; book 97, person 44, theory 65 (medical theory 48, thought 8, origin of word and story 9), clinical research 42 (disease 19, method 16, treatment 7), system of medicine and medical treatment 22 (system of medicine 10, system of medical treatment 12), mutual and comparative study in medicine 18 (mutual study 14, comparative study 4), etc. 56 (materia medica and prescription 23, trends study and essay 18, traditional medicine informatics 10, community medicine 5). Conclusions : J. of KSMH contained several subjects based on medical history ; book, person, theory, thought, origin of word and story, clinical research, mutual and comparative study in medicine, etc. However, the subjects were biased to books and persons.

This study aims to analyze the research trends of oral history research in Korea from 1991 to the present, and to provide basic data on the future direction of oral history research. For these purposes, 439 research articles of domestic oral history researchers from 1991 to 2018 were retrieved by keyword search from Research Information Sharing System (RISS) in Korean Education and Research Information Service (KERIS). The research trends of domestic oral history were analyzed by the volume of periodical research papers, major journals, authors and research funds, research fields and research contents, and international cooperation. Finally, based on the results of the study, the implications were summarized, and direction for follow-up research was provided.

Objective : Academies or societies of Korean Medicine have their journals. Those Journals usually follow guidlines for authors of Journal of KOMS(Korean oriental medical society). However, altough academies or societies of Korean Medicine are branches of KOMS, their guidlines for authors of journal are different form KOMS's. Method : We compared guidlines for authors in academies or societies of Korean Medicine which journals is listed in NRF(National Research Foundation of Korea). Result : They have 78.9% coincidence in guidlines for authors of journal, 68.4% in url adress and 57.9% in both books and chapter. Conclusion : Academies or societies of Korean Medicine might comply with KIOM in guidlines for authors of their journal because they are brabches of KIOM. In addition, these days, scholars try to make journal DB, journal referaence DB, ontology and so on so journals of KIOM and journals of Korean Medicine academies might be agreed especially in guidlines for authors.

There were six academic journals on oriental medicine, published in the era of Japanese imperialism(1910-1945). Six academic journals are "Han bang eui yak kyei 漢方醫藥界", "Dong eui bo gam 東醫報鑑", "Dong seo eui hak bo 東西醫學報", "Cho sun eui hak kyei 朝鮮醫學界", "Dong seo eui hak yeon ku hoi wol bo 東西醫學硏究會月報", "Dong yang eui yak 東洋醫藥". These journals were published 33rd volume with sequence. Research into these journals has derived the conclusion that the academic trend at the time were, firstly, the interaction between western and eastern medicine, secondly, researches on "Nai Kyung 內經", "Sang Han Ron 傷寒論" and finally, promotion of development of oriental medicine by looking at the advantages of western medicine.

This research aims to demonstrate the sociocultural significance of architectural journals produced in the 1970s during which a fundamental reconsideration of architectural discipline has been made. To this end, we established a method of analysis adapted to the characteristics of architectural journals of that period. In this formulation, the relative autonomy of architectural journal with regard to various actors and institutions involved in its production emerged as a major criterion for the analysis of a journal. From this methodological reflection, we analyzed two French architectural journals, AMC published between 1973 and 1981 and l'Architecture d'Aujourd'hui between 1974 and 1977, which were produced both in close relation with parisian architectural schools (UPA) in the context of reestablishment of architectural education and beginning of architectural research in France after the events of May 1968. If these journals reflected and strengthened the architectural reality and especially the social network of their protagonists, it is equally important to note that they have transformed it into cultural network, and this by the mechanism proper to their preparation and their textual organization.

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to analyze the current status of various fusion research journals and the operational strategies of such journals and compare them with the operational strategies of IJIDB. Research design, data, and methodology - This study focused on the contents analysis of convergence journals after summarizing the development history from IJIDB's past and its external situation. In addition, we analyzed other strategies such as the number of publication journals, the number of publications, the academic scope, and the impact factor that other convergence journals operate on. Results - As a result of the analysis, the convergent journals showed to have several related journals, and some journals managed their impact factor well at 5.8. Also, some journals loaded 25 papers in one volume. Also, the managerial functions in IJIDB should be developed further to increase its stability. Finally, opportunities for articles by Candidates of Ph.D. and Masters degree students should be more open to in this field. Conclusions - If IJIDB finds its competitiveness in comparison with the operational strategies of other convergence journals, it will be the best journal in the Korea Citation Index to receive the most research papers and hospitality from scholars in the Korean journals.

In this study, we examine Maeng Hwa-seop's academic activities, focusing on articles published in Uirim, JKM (Journal of Korean Medicine), and other branch journals which were affiliated with the Society of Korean Medicine. The present study charts and summarizes the papers published in the above journals. By organizing Maeng Hwa-seop's papers and making tables, we find that his research can be divided into four categories: symptoms and diseases, prescriptions, academic presentations, and translations of medical literatures. Based on this study, we hope that further researches about the academic activities of Maeng Hwa-seop can be conducted in the future.

This is a retrospective, quantitative review of the English Teachers Association in Korea, namely the ETAK and its journals during the period of 18 years ever since the establishment in August 1994. It examines the history of the association, its domestic and international conferences, and most importantly, its articles. The purpose was to learn how it has emerged into a full-fledged organization, what the preferred language of the article has been, how the volume size has changed, and how many foreign scholars' articles have been contributed. It also looked into the number of authors each article was written by to examine the trend of cooperative work in the field of English education. Classification of the research topic was focused on the 4 skills of the language, grammar and vocabulary, literature, linguistics and all the rest areas were categorized into others. From the results of the study, suggestions for the future ETAK in the Korean English teaching were to be given.
