Purpose: Higher Order Thinking Skills is one of the important aspects in education that must be mastered by the students in order to be qualified in competing at international level. Success in mastering HOTS among the students is always linked to preparation of a good and conducive learning environment. However, does this connection impacts the students' HOTS achievement? Therefore, this research is carried out in order to evaluate the relationship between HOTS and learning environment with the main focus on Accounting Principle Elective Subject (MPEI PP). Research design, data and methodology: Research in the form of correlation is implied in this study and it involves 59 Form 5 students that has learned all syllabus in Form 4's MPEI PP. Results: Evaluation of HOTS level is based on Taxonomy Bloom that covers applying skill, analysing skill, evaluating skill, and creating skill. Result from data analysis found that there is a very weak correlation (r = 0.02) between the two variables with regression equation of average grade point = 75.023 + (-.273) Learning Environment. Conclusion: Thus, a non-significant relationship between HOTS and learning environment is successfully proven through correlation and regression statistical analysis.
There were numerous evidences that subjective health evaluation was a powerful indicator for morbidity and mortality in many countries. Since self-rated health (SRH) was a reasonable health measure, identifying predictors for SRH would be beneficial for assessment of overall health, monitoring health status, and development of health promotion programs. Health risks, health behavior, socioeconomic characteristics and social capital were potential indicators for SRH. We examined association. between SRH and indicators such as health risk factors, subjective living condition, income, education level and dietary variety score. Total 4,262 subjects, aged between 20 and 69 years old, were selected from KNHANES 2001; those who completed health examination, nutrition survey, and provided their socioeconomic information. Results of logistic regression showed that it was likely to have better SRH for those who were younger, male and have higher education, higher income, better living condition, no metabolic syndrome and higher dietary variety.
Purpose How can be a great doctor with excellence and ethics? In this study, I wanted to find out the characteristics of human environment to make a great doctor. Methods: First, I researched factors and construct of the human environment. So I conceived a model for analyzing human environment with two construction model : Howard Gardner's System Model and Bron-fenbrenner's ecological systems model. Second, I analyzed the life of the Oliver R. Evison M.D. and Ki Ryu Jang M.D. Oliver R. Evison was the pioneer of medicine of Korea and establisher of the Severance Hospital and medical college. Dr KiRyu Jang, who was called 'Schweitzer of Korea', was a good doctor of the poor and weak patients in Korea. Third, I tried to find out a new human environment model to make a great doctor. Results One model for analyzing human environment was made of relationship based on emotion. relationship teaching knowledge and skill, and relationship communicating on value. In the light of analyzing of two great doctors. Oliver R. Evison M.D. and KiRyu Jang M.D, I found out special interrelationship, Hardie, Allen, Severance for Evison, Kyosin Kim, Kyucheol Choi etc. for Ki Ryu Jang These special people were religious actors or social thinkers. Conclusions: To be a great doctor to excel and innovate medical field, medical students should have the chance to meet with people based on religious, ethical and social action, discuss on value across social fields, and can construct the idea to make and realize higher value of medical action. In sum, another important human environment for medical students would be a person who could be communicate with true value.
The present study is to investigate the middle school students' worldview and consciousness about the environment. To conduct this study, 605 students from the two middle schools of Daegu metropolitan area, seventh grade, were measured using a modified version of New Environmental Paradigm (NEP) instrument and qustionnaire of environmental consciousness. The results are as follows: First, a majority of middle school students held an ecological environmental worldview. They also had a similar environmental worldview to education experience on environment-related to subjects. The strongest area of agreement with the NEP were in the "Negative results of growth and technology." The weakest area of agreement with the NEP were in the "Quality of life" dimension with only 44.9 percent agreement across that dimension's four statements. Second, the middle school students are sensible of consciousness in environmental problems. They pointed out that air pollution and noise are the most as sever problems in country and local area, respectively. Finally, the subjects who showed the higher environmental worldview had a higher environmental consciousness and better attitudes related to environmental problems.

Recently, to improve the effectiveness of education to learn from textbooks, immersive 3D environments such as virtual reality(VR) has been widely used for education. In this paper, in order to intuitively present education about content scenarios on changes in the human body according to food intake, we consist an immersive virtual reality environment to express the same life-size organs. The participants in our educational system showed higher results in all items compared to the existing textbook-based education such as immersion, understanding, and quality of education program. Also it was found the importance of interactivity to increase the effectiveness of immersive class.
This study analyzed the factors affecting the educational effect of safety innovation education for management of public institutions. A survey was conducted on 294 CEOs and executive directors of public institutions (divided into construction sites, workplaces, and research facilities) subject to the safety management rating system to understand the impact of educational participants' characteristics and behavioral intentions after safety innovation education. As a result of statistical analysis, it was found that the executive director had a higher behavioral intention than the CEO, and the education quality, education instructor, and educational environment all had a significant positive (+) effect on the behavioral intention. This study can be used as basic data for further research related to safety innovation education for management of public institutions
This study explored the learning environment for promoting conceptual understanding, immersion, and situational interest in small group learning using augmented reality, according to the level of students' self-regulation. 95 ninth-grade students from a coed high school in Seoul participated in this study. Students were divided into a group of four and each group was randomly assigned to three learning environments that provide one marker and one smart device(1-1), two markers and two smart devices(2-2), and four markers and four smart devices(4-4) for a group. Small group learning using augmented reality was conducted for two class periods about the chemical bonding concept from the Integrated Science subject. Two-way ANOVA results revealed that students in the 4-4 learning environment scored significantly higher than those in the 1-1 or 2-2 learning environment in a conception test. Changes in the learning environment have affected students with a low level of self-regulation. In an immersion test, students in the 4-4 learning environment scored significantly higher than those in the 1-1 learning environment, and changes in the learning environment have affected students with a high level of self-regulation. As a result of situational interest test, students in the 4-4 and 2-2 learning environments scored significantly higher than those in the 1-1 learning environment, and changes in the learning environment have affected students with a low and a high level of self-regulation. Based on the results, the educational implications of the learning environment for promoting conceptual understanding, immersion, and situational interest in small group learning using augmented reality are discussed.
The electrochromic properties of tungsten oxide films grown by RF sputtering were investigated. Among the sputter parameters, first the $Ar:O_2$ ratios were controlled with division into only an $O_2$ environment, 1:1 and 4:1. The structure of each film prepared by these conditions was studied by X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy. The sputter-deposited tungsten oxide films had an amorphous structure regardless of the $Ar:O_2$ ratios. The chemical compositions, however, were different from each other. The stoichiometric structure and low-density film was obtained at higher $O_2$ contents. Electrochemical tests were performed by cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry at 0.05 M $H_2SO_4$ solutions. The current density and charge ratio was estimated during the continuous potential and pulse potential cycling at -0.5 V and 1.8 V, respectively. The film grown in a higher oxygen environment had a higher current density and a reversible charge reaction during intercalation and deintercalation. The in-situ transmittance tests were performed by He-Ne laser (633 nm). At higher oxygen contents, a big transmittance difference was observed but the response speed was too slow. This was likely caused by higher film resistivity. Furthermore, the effect of sputtering pressure was also investigated. The structure and surface morphology of each film was observed by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. A rough surface was observed at higher sputtering pressure, and this affected the higher transmittance difference and coloration efficiency.

The acceptance of smartphone applications in the learning field is one of the most significant challenges for higher education institutions in Saudi Arabia. These institutions serve large and varied sectors of society and have a tremendous impact on the knowledge gained by student segments at various ages. M-learning is of great importance because it provides access to learning through a wide range of mobile networks and allows students to learn at any time and in any place. There is a lack of quality requirements for M-learning applications in Saudi societies partly because of mandates for high levels of privacy and gender segregation in education (Garg, 2013; Sarrab et al., 2014). According to the Saudi Arabian education ministry policy, gender segregation in education reflects the country's religious and traditional values (Ministry of Education, 2013, No. 155). The opportunity of many applications would help the Saudi target audience more easily accept M-learning applications and expand their knowledge while maintaining government policy related to religious values and gender segregation in the educational environment. In addition, students can share information through the online framework without breaking religious restrictions. This study uses a quantitative perspective to focus on defining the technical aspects and learning requirements for distributing knowledge among students within the digital environment. Additionally, the framework of the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) is used to modify new constructs, called application quality requirements, that consist of quality requirements for systems, information, and interfaces.
