Implementation of higo-speed vehicle state verification system using wireless network (무선 네트워크를 이용한 고속 차량 상태 확인 시스템 구현)

  • Recently, wireless network services are widely used, depending on the development of wireless network module technologies and the utilization gradually expanded, and thus is a trend that appears a lot of IT convergence industries. For this study, the OBD-II communication to Import your vehicle information, and other external devices in high-speed driving condition of the vehicle to verify the information system was developed to transfer data to an external server. From various sensors inside the vehicle using the OBD-II connector easily convert all users to read the information, then, Sent to the external server using the wireless network module, high-speed vehicle status check system was implemented. It was to test the performance of the system was developed using the actual circuit in a high-speed road racing vehicles. Transfer data generated from high-speed driving vehicles through the OBD-II scanner and check the status of a high-speed vehicle system was confirmed that this data is normally received. In the future, these new cars convergence of IT technology will grow as a new field of research.

Experimental Interference Studies Between WCDMA and UWB System

  • Ultra wideband (UWB) technologies have been developed to exploit a new spectrum resource in substances and to realize ultra-high-speed communication, high precision geolocation, and other applications. The energy of UWB signal is extremely spread from near DC to a few GHz. This means that the interference between conventional narrowband systems and UWB systems is inevitable. However, the interference effects had not previously been studied from UWB wireless systems to conventional mobile wireless systems sharing the frequency bands such as WCDMA system. This paper experimentally evaluates the interference from two kinds of UWB sources, namely a direct-sequence spread-spectrum UWB source and an impulse radio UWB source, to a WCDMA digital transmission system. The average frame error rate degradations are presented. From these experimental results, we show that in all practical cases UWB system can coexist with WCDMA terminal without causing any dangerous interference.

A Relay-assisted Secure Handover Mechanism for High-speed Trains

  • Considering that the existing Long Term Evolution is not suitable for the fast and frequent handovers of high-speed trains, this paper proposes a relay-assisted handover mechanism to solve the problems of long handover authentication time and vulnerable to security attacks. It can achieve mutual authentication for train-ground wireless communication, and data transmission is consistent with one-time pad at the same time. The security analysis, efficiency analysis and simulation results show that the proposed mechanism not only realizes the forward security and resists many common attacks, but also effectively reduces the computational overhead of train antenna during the secure handover process. When the running speed of a train is lower than 500km/h, the handover delay is generally lower than 50ms and the handover outage probability is less than 1.8%. When the running speed of a train is 350km/h, the throughput is higher than 16.4mbps in the process of handover. Therefore, the secure handover mechanism can improve the handover performance of high-speed trains.

  • In this paper, we analyze the modulation scheme for high speed transmission in visible light communication system, and study non-orthogonal multiplexing, dimming level and transmission power ratio. Conventional visible light communication has a disadvantage in that it is difficult to multi-transmit to increase the transmission speed. Multi-transmission technique is necessary for high-speed transmission at the transmitter. Since general visible light communication has a limitation in multiple transmission, various researches for high-speed transmission have been conducted. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a multiple modulation scheme for high-speed visible light communication using non-orthogonal multiplex transmission scheme and a future research direction.

  • The WiMedia Alliance has specified a Distributed Medium Access Control (D-MAC) protocol based on UWB for high speed wireless home networks and WPANs. In this paper, we propose a novel cooperative communication protocol adaptive to current UWB link transmission rate. The proposed cooperative communication protocol has compatibility with current WiMedia D-MAC and Wireless USB standard and is executed at each device according to a Relay Node Selection (RNS) criterion.

  • In tile wireless communication networks although the modulation and demodulation structure with proposed BOWLIS algorithm is a little confusing but we certified that it is fit structure in fast operation processing and high speed wireless LAM system that is more strong on frequence and electro magnetic interference because it process the inputted data within 2.8Us that is faster 0.4Us than 3.2Us in standard form. Also we certified that in the sigtlt of consuming power it is better than pipe-lined structure because of reducing the processing step to 4.

  • This paper deals with the application of commercial mobile communication system for improvement of the military mobile wireless communication systems. Currently, commercial mobile communication systems are rapidly growing from first and second Generation system to third and forth Generation system, which can provide multimedia service of high speed and high capacity(e.g., IMT-2000). If we adapt these emerging commercial technology for the military communication, the military will have many benefits in terms of cost saving, early operational deployment and performance. And it is possible to support the communication necessary in the future warfield operational environment. Therefore, we analyzed differences between commercial systems and military systems, and adaptability in terms of security, survivability and performance. Design of Viterbi Decoder for Wireless LAN (무선 LAN용 비터비 복호기의 효율적인 설계)

  • In this paper, we design high speed Viterbi decoding algorithm which is aimed for Wireless LAN. Wireless LAN transmits data at rate 6∼54 Mbps. This high speed is not easy to implement Viterbi decoder with single ACS. So parallel ACS butterfly structure is to be used and several time-dependent problem is to be solved. We simulate Viterbi algorithm using new branch metric calculating method to save time, and consider trace back algorithm which is adaptable to high speed Viterbi decoder. With simulated, we determine the structure of Viterbi decoder. This architecture is available to high speed and low power Viterbi decoder.
