중국의 밀레니얼 세대가 인식하는 디자인에서의 고급감성에 관한 연구 -감성 이미지를 중심으로- (A Study on the High-Emotional Quality in the Design perceived by Chinese Millennials - focused on Emotional Image-)

  • 본 연구는 중국 밀레니얼 세대가 인식하는 디자인에서의 고급감성을 알아보기 위한 목적으로 실시되었다. 이를 위해, 첫째 밀레니얼 세대의 특성에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 디자인에서 고급감성에 대한 이론적 개념을 정리하였다. 둘째, 중국 북경에 거주하는 50명의 밀레니얼 세대를 대상으로 그들이 생각하는 고급 감성 이미지를 수집하고 이를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 중국 밀레니얼 세대가 인식하는 디자인에서의 고급감성은 시대변화에 따른 기술의 혁신성, 다른 집단과 나를 구별 짓는 사회적 우월성, 자문화에 대해 자부심을 갖는 문화적 우수성으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 중국 밀레니얼 세대의 감성을 이해하고 그들을 대상으로 한 디자인 전략을 수립하기 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

노인요양시설 종사자의 감정노동행동이 직무소진과 서비스품질에 미치는 영향: 감성리더십의 조절효과 (The Effect of Emotional Labor Behavior of Employee at Geriatric Long-Tern Care Facilities on Job Burnout and Service Quality: Moderating Effect of Emotional Leadership)

  • 이 연구의 필요성은 노인요양시설 종사자의 근무환경의 질, 복지개선이 시설이용 어르신들의 양질의 서비스 제공을 위해 노인요양시설 종사자들을 대상으로 감정노동행동이 직무소진과 서비스품질에 미치는 영향과 감성리더십을 중심으로 효과를 규명하는데 있다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 감정노동행동 중 내면행동이 직무소진의 부의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 표면행동에는 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 감정노동행동이 서비스품질에도 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 감성리더십은 감정노동행동 중 내면행동에서 정서적 고갈과 개인적 성취감저하에서만 조절효과를 보였으며, 표면행동에는 비인격화에서 조절효과가 나타났다. 셋째, 감성리더십은 감정노동행동 중 표면행동과 서비스 품질에서는 유형성, 신뢰성, 확신성 요인에서 감성리더십의 조절효과가 나타났다. 따라서 노인요양시설 종사자의 근무여건 개선과 노인요양시설 이용 노인들의 서비스 품질 향상을 위한 앞으로도 많은 연구들이 이루어져야 하겠다.

레스토랑 유형에 따른 레스토랑 서비스 인카운터 품질 평가 수준, 감정적 반응, 고객 만족 및 서비스 충성도 차이 분석 (The Analysis of the Differences of Evaluation Level of Service Encounter Quality, Emotional Responses, Customer Satisfaction and Service Loyalty by Types of Restaurants)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the differences of cognitive responses, emotional responses, customer satisfaction, and service loyalty about service encounter quality by types of restaurants and to analyse emotional responses, customer satisfaction, and service loyalty in accordance with level of service encounter quality. The questionnaire were collected from customers (N=812) who had used restaurants in Seoul, aiming at 15 or more-year-old customers from October 24, 2005 to November 6, 2005. The main results of this study were as follows: Statistically significant difference was showed in importance and performance of interaction quality, importance and performance of physical environment quality, performance of outcome quality depending on types of restaurants, while significant difference was not indicated in importance of outcome quality by types of restaurants. Positive emotional response was significantly high by types of restaurants in order of fine-dining restaurants, family restaurants, and fast-food restaurants, while negative emotional responses were significantly higher in fast-food restaurants than in the other two types. As far as Customer satisfaction are concerned, fine-dining restaurants showed higher customer satisfaction than the other two types. Attitudinal service loyalty was high in fine-dining restaurants, family restaurants and fast-food restaurants in order and behavioral loyalty was not significantly different with each type of restaurant. In accordance with level of service encounter quality, cluster analysis was conducted and the clusters were divided into 'high-valuation' and 'low-valuation'. 'High-valuation cluster' and 'low-valuation cluster' showed significant difference depending on types of restaurants that customers used(p<.001). The customers who used fine-dining restaurants and family restaurants valued the performance of service encounter highly. However, in fast-food restaurants, a lot of low-valuation customers existed. Therefore, fast-food restaurants have to improve performance of interaction quality, outcome quality and physical environment quality in service encounter. In addition, in 'high-valuation cluster' who valued service encounter quality highly showed higher scores in positive responses, customer satisfaction, service loyalty than in 'low-valuation cluster', and showed low negative responses.

Causal relationship among quality factors, emotional responses, and satisfaction of school food service in Henan province, China

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: School food service has played an important role in promoting the health and physical condition of students by providing students with a balanced and nutritious diet. Therefore, boosting the quality of school food service and improving the students' satisfaction is critical. For this purpose, this study examined the structural causal relationship among the quality of school food service factors, emotional responses, and satisfaction in China. SUBJECTS/METHODS: This study was conducted with 4th-6th-grade students from 6 junior high schools in Henan province of China, with 590 questionnaire responses (87.3%) collected and statistically analyzed. RESULTS: The school food service quality factors (including menu management, dietary education, facilities management, price and food distribution management, and personal hygiene during meals) must be enhanced to boost the students' satisfaction. In addition, the study used questionnaire survey data to validate the full mediation of students' emotional responses between school food service quality factors and student satisfaction. CONCLUSIONS: Students' emotions also play an important role in influencing the quality of school food service, all of which affect the emotional responses of students. Therefore, students' positive emotions are an important indicator for improving the quality of school food service. A national support policy is necessary for the ongoing maintenance and development of various programs that drive students' satisfaction and promote the adoption of education guidelines for school food service in China.

The Study on the Effect of Waiting Line on Consumers' Perceived Quality and Emotional State

  • This study examines a model which simultaneously contains two paths between waiting line and purchase intention: one tested the positive effect of waiting line through consumers' perceived quality, whereas another one go through consumers' emotional state to test the negative effect of waiting line on purchase intention. To further understand perceived quality, the study divided perceived quality into perceived product quality and perceived service quality. The study used restaurants in the experiment. Results indicated that although long waits in line will directly increase both consumers' product quality perception and negative emotions, the total indirect effects on purchase intention are still significantly positive. For consumers' perceived service quality, long waiting situations have no such effect on it. Significant results from a moderation analysis also shown that consumers in low-level knowledge settings are more influenced by waiting lines than those in high-level knowledge settings when they make the product's quality-related judgment. However, the level of consumer knowledge does not moderate the relationship between waiting lines and service quality.

감정노동이 직무스트레스와 고객지향성에 미치는 영향 - C 서비스 프랜차이즈 기업을 중심으로 (Influence of Emotional Labor on Job Stress and Customer Orientation. - C Service Franchise Firm.)

  • As competition for better service between corporations is getting fierce, many efforts to improve service quality are being made endlessly. The quality of service is directly associated with customer satisfaction and the employee performance of emotional labor is a key factor to attain a high level of customer review and better corporation image. This study examines an influence of emotional labor on job stress and customer orientation in the context of a service franchise firm. The results are as follow. First, deep acting of emotional labor has a negative influence on job stress, and surface acting of emotional labor has a negative influence on customer orientation. Also, job stress has a negative influence on customer orientation. Second, deep acting of emotional labor does not have a positive influence on customer orientation. Third, surface acting of emotional labor does not have a positive influence on job stress. The findings of this study show that deep acting of service based on an employee emotion can produce the employee's better service attitude by decreasing employees' job stress, but standardized surface acting of service cannot. Therefore, franchisor needs to use employees' deep acting to improve the franchisee service quality.

  • Previous studies have focused on service quality by examining customer satisfaction and retention. Little, if any work has been conducted exploring the emotional state of customers and that state in con-nection to perceived service quality. The objective of this study was to explore and determine how a customer's emotions perceive and respond to service quality within family restaurants. It was found that within a positive emotional field, product and personal service quality showed a high correlation to the positive image while customers experiencing negative emotions had the perception of poorer product and personal service quality as well as a worse impression of cleanliness. Cleanliness was not connected to the issue of customer satisfaction but each of these three factors, whether positive or negative, led to the creation and mediation of an image which in itself directly resulted in customer satisfaction. Customer emotional fields are not merely the by-product of quality issues, or satisfaction but in fact the foundation by which all other factors must be considered and analyzed. Family restaurateurs need to focus on the customer's emotional well-being to create customer satisfaction.

Comparison of Machine Learning Analysis on Predictive Factors of Children's Planning-Organizing Executive Function by Income Level: Through Home Environment Quality and Wealth Factors

  • Background and objective: This study identifies whether children's planning-organizing executive function can be significantly classified and predicted by home environment quality and wealth factors. Methods: For empirical analysis, we used the data collected from the 10th Panel Study on Korean Children in 2017. Using machine learning tools such as support vector machine (SVM) and random forest (RF), we evaluated the accuracy of the model in which home environment factors classify and predict children's planning-organizing executive functions, and extract the relative importance of variables that determine these executive functions by income group. Results: First, SVM analysis shows that home environment quality and wealth factors show high accuracy in classification and prediction in all three groups. Second, RF analysis shows that estate had the highest predictive power in the high-income group, followed by income, asset, learning, reinforcement, and emotional environment. In the middle-income group, emotional environment showed the highest score, followed by estate, asset, reinforcement, and income. In the low-income group, estate showed the highest score, followed by income, asset, learning, reinforcement, and emotional environment. Conclusion: This study confirmed that home environment quality and wealth factors are significant factors in predicting children's planning-organizing executive functions.

항공사 객실승무원의 감성지능이 서비스품질과 조직에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Impact of Flight Attendants' Emotional Intelligence on the Service Quality and Organization)

  • 본 연구에서는 자신 및 다른 사람의 정서를 인지하고 조절하며 활용할 수 있는 능력이라 정의되는 감성지능이 항공기라는 특수한 환경 속에서 근무하는 승무원들의 서비스품질 수행에 중요한 요인으로 판단되어 연구하였다. 더불어 감성지능이 직무만족과 조직충성도와 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 그 영향관계를 구체적으로 검증하고자 했다. 이에 본 연구에서 국내 K항공사 승무원들의 감성지능을 분석하고, 이것이 승무원들의 서비스품질 수행과 직무 만족도 및 조직 충성도와의 상관관계 분석을 통해 승무원 조직 내 특이성을 파악하여 서비스품질 향상과 기업 조직 강화를 위한 적절한 방안들을 제시하기 위한 초석을 마련하고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과를 보면 감성지능이 높으면 서비스품질의 업무수행을 잘 해서 직무만족을 높이는데 기여하며, 직무만족이 조직충성도에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것이 아니고 오히려 감성능력이 조직충성도에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있다. 그러므로 항공사의 서비스품질 수행능력을 높일 뿐 만 아니라 근무에 대한 만족과 충성도를 높이기 위해서도 감성지능이 풍부한 직원을 뽑거나 지속적인 감성교육이 필요할 것이다.

일부지역 치과위생사의 건강증진행위가 감정노동과 삶의 질, 직무만족에 융합적으로 미치는 영향 (Health promotion behavior of some local dental hygienist convergence impact on emotional labor, quality of life, job satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 대구. 경북지역 293명 치과위생사의 건강증진행위와 감정노동, 삶의 질, 직무만족도의 관계를 분석하였다. 자료는 SPSS WIN12.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 건강증진행위의 10문항 중 '나는 문제와 걱정거리를 가까운 사람과 상의한다'가 3.25로 가장 높았다. 일반적 특성에 따른 건강증진행위는 높은 연령과 학력, 종합병원(대학병원)에서 높았다. 일반적 특성에 따른 감정노동은 근무경력이 짧은 경우와 가장 긴 경우, 높은 학력, 의원급에서 높았다. 일반적인 특징에 따른 삶의 질은 높은 연령과 학력, 의원급, 수입 2501-3000만원이 가장 높았다. 일반적 특성에 따른 직무만족도는 높은 연령과 학력, 기혼, 의원급, 수입 2501-3000만원이 높았다. 건강증진행위와 감정노동, 삶의 질, 직무만족도와의 산관성은 양의 상관관계를 나타냈다. 감정노동, 삶의 질, 직무만족도와 건강증진 행위의 회귀분석 결과 Y(건강증진행위)= 1.452 + 0.318(삶의 질)로 분석되었다. 따라서 치과위생사의 삶의 질을 높이기 위해서는 건강증진행위를 높이는 교육이 이루어져야 할 것이다.
