고 에너지 밀도 펄스 변압기 설계 (Design of A High Energy Density Pulse Transformer)

  • A high frequency and energy density pulse transformer is a critical component of a high voltage power supply in a traveling wave tube (TWT) amplifier system. In this paper, processes of design, manufacturing, and test of the transformer are discussed. Primary voltage of the transformer is 240 V. The transformer secondary have two outputs which are 4100 V (Helix) and 2050 V (Collector). Total output power is 860 W. Normal operating frequency of the transformer is 10 kHz. In high energy density pulse transformers, temperature rise is a main problem during its operation. From our study, it was found that resonant current due to leakage inductance and stray capacitance was the main cause of temperature rise. This happens because of the inherently high turn-ratio in high voltage transformers. Solutions to reduce stray components are presented.

토종 실용계의 사육밀도 및 사료 내 에너지 수준에 따른 생산성, 혈액, 면역 및 계육 품질에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Stock Density and Nutrient Levels on Growth Performance, Serum Profile, Immune Status and Meat Quality in Korean Native Chickens)

  • 본 연구는 토종 실용계 사육 시 사육밀도와 에너지 함량에 따른 생산성, 혈액 성분, 면역 및 계육품질에 미치는 영향에 대해 구명하고자 수행되었다. 토종닭 병아리 240수를 공시하여 4처리 4반복 반복당 15수씩 완전 임의 배치하였다. 처리구는 사육밀도 2 수준(14, 16 birds/m2)과 에너지 2 수준[ME kcal/kg; High: starter(3,150), grower(3,200), Final(3,250); Low: starter(2,950), grower(3,000), Final(3,050)]으로 2 × 2 요인실험 설계하였다. 체중분석 결과 SD 14 처리구와 EL High 처리구에서 유의적으로 높은 것으로 나타났다. 증체량에서는 초기와 후기에서 에너지 함량에 따라 EL High 처리구가 유의적으로 높게 나타났으며, 전구간에서는 사육밀도와 에너지 함량에 따라 SD 14 처리구와 EL High 처리구가 유의적으로 높게 나타났다. 사료섭취량은 초기, 중기와 전구간에서 사육밀도에 따라 SD 14 처리구가 유의적으로 높게 나타났다. 사료 요구율은 에너지 함량에 따라 EL High 처리구가 유의적으로 낮게 나타났다. 혈액 내 생화학 조성 결과 AST 에서는 사육밀도에 따라 SD 16 처리구가 높게 나타났다. 면역글로블린과 코티솔 분석결과 IgM에서 사육밀도 × 에너지 함량에 따라 유의적인 차이가 나타났으나, 코티솔에서는 유의적인 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 결론적으로 사육밀도가 높을수록 섭취경쟁으로 인하여 AST가 증가하였고, 이로 인해 생산성이 감소되었다. 그리고 에너지 함량이 높을수록 생산성이 개선되었다. 그러나 혈액, 면역 및 계육 품질의 결과는 일정하지 않았으며, 좀 더 자세한 연구가 필요할 것으로 보인다.

닭의 고밀도사양 스트레스가 품종 간 체내대사 유전자 발현에 미치는 영향 (Effects of High Stocking Density on the Expression of Metabolic Related Genes in Two Strains of Chickens)

  • 본 연구는 밀사에 의한 환경스트레스가 닭의 품종에 따라 스트레스 및 대사 연관 유전자들의 발현에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 실시하였다. 공시계는 한국재래닭과 백색레그혼으로 두 품종 모두 40주령 때 대조구($540cm^2$/수) 및 고밀도구($311cm^2$/수)로 분리하고, 50주령까지 10주간 사육하였다. 사양시험 종료 후, 각 개체의 간으로부터 total RNA를 추출하고, 스트레스, 소포체(ER) 스트레스 및 대사 연관유전자들의 발현을 real-time PCR을 이용하여 분석하였다. 한국재래계는 분석된 모든 스트레스 표지 유전자들의 발현이 밀사구와 대조구 사이에 유의적인 변화를 보이지 않았다. 그러나 백색레그혼의 경우, HSP70과 $HSP90{\alpha}$ 유전자의 발현이 유의적으로 높게 나타났다(P<0.05). 분석된 ATF6, GRP78, SREBP2 등의 발현은 품종 간 차이를 볼 수 없었지만, XBP1의 경우 백색레그혼이 한국재래계에 비하여 높은 발현을 보였다(P<0.05). 분석된 유전자들 중 FABP4, FATP1, ACSL1 등의 경우, 한국재래계에 비하여 백색레그혼에서 높은 유전자 발현을 보였다(P<0.05). GLUT의 발현은 품종 간에는 영향을 받지 않지만, 밀사에 의한 영향을 받고 있음을 보여주었다. 고밀도사양 체계는 닭의 품종과 관계없이 스트레스 요인이 될 수 있으며, 닭의 품종이나 개량의 정도에 따라 스트레스 반응에 대한 유전적 차이가 있음을 시사하고, 또한 밀사와 같은 환경적 스트레스는 간의 지방 및 포도당 대사에 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 보여주었다.

고밀도 폴리우레탄 폼의 극저온 성능 분석 (Investigation of the Cryogenic Performance of the High Density Polyurethane Foam)

  • Polyurethane foam insulation required for storing and transporting cryogenic liquefied gas is already widely used as a thermal insulation material for commercial LNG carriers and onshore due to its stable price and high insulation performance. These polyurethane foams are reported to have different mechanical performance depending on the density, and the density parameter is determined depending on the amount of the blowing agent. In this study, density-dependent polyurethane foam was fabricated by adjusting the amount of blowing agent. The mechanical properties of polyurethane foam were analyzed in the room temperature and cryogenic temperature range of -163℃ at 1.5 mm/min, which is a quasi-static load range, and the cells were observed through microstructure analysis. The characteristics of linear elasticity, plateau, and densification, which are quasi-static mechanical behaviors of polyurethane foam, were shown, and the correlation between density and mechanical properties in a cryogenic environment was confirmed. The correlation between mechanical behavior and cell size was also analyzed through SEM morphology analysis. Polyurethane foam with a density of 180 kg/m3 had a density about twice as high as that of a polyurethane foam with a density of 96 kg/m3, but yield strength was about 51% higher and cell size was about 9.5% smaller.

HSS을 적용한 STI CMP 공정에서 EPD 특성 (A study of EPD for Shallow Trench Isolation CMP by HSS Application)

  • In this study, the rise throughput and the stability in fabrication of device can be obtained by applying of CMP process to STI structure in 0.l8um semiconductor device. Through reverse moat pattern process, reduced moat density at high moat density, STI CMP process with low selectivity could be to fit polish uniformity between low moat density and high moat density. Because this reason, in-situ motor current end point detection method is not fit to the current EPD technology with the reverse moat pattern. But we use HSS without reverse moat pattern on STI CMP and take end point current sensing signal.[1] To analyze sensing signal and test extracted signal, we can to adjust wafer difference within $110{\AA}$.

근접장 이론을 이용한 고밀도 저장 장치용 렌즈의 이론적 설계와 수치적 설계 (Theoretical and Numerical Lens Design Using Near Field Theory for High Density Storage Device)

  • In optical storage device system, there are several research topics to increase its recording density. The main idea is reducing wave length of laser diode and magnifying the number of numerical aperture (NA). In conventional optical system NA cannot be over the unity in the air because of its diffraction limit. But it is possible to overcome its limitation of unity in near field using Solid Immersion Lens. In this work, the mathematical Solid Immersion Lens (SIL) design process was illustrated by using near field theory. Also, numerical SIL design parameters were calculated by means of CODE V. Through the work, we propose the new type of SIL for high density optical recording systems.

  • Misalignment of recording head position results in inter-track interference (ITI), which is a primary factor limiting radial(track) density in current digital magnetic channels. This paper proposes a multi- channel adaptive PRML for digital high-density recording channels, and compares it with the conventional single-channel PRML in the presence of ITI for the per- formance evaluation. Simulation results show that the proposed method removes ITI effectively when heal-misalignment occurs, then improving its performance significantly as compared with the single- channel PRML. As a result, it is confirmed that multi-channel adaptive PRML is well suited for high-density recording in digital magnetic channels.

변환(變換)을 이용(利用)한 커널함수추정추정법(函數推定推定法) (Transformation in Kernel Density Estimation)

  • The problem of estimating symmetric probability density with high kurtosis is considered. Such densities are often estimated poorly by a global bandwidth kernel estimation since good estimation of the peak of the distribution leads to unsatisfactory estimation of the tails and vice versa. In this paper, we propose a transformation technique before using a global bandwidth kernel estimator. Performance of density estimator based on proposed transformation is investigated through simulation study. It is observed that our method offers a substantial improvement for the densities with high kurtosis. However, its performance is a little worse than that of ordinary kernel estimator in the situation where the kurtosis is not high.

Cholesterol Lowering Effect of Enzymatic Hydrolysates of Squid in Rats

  • This study evaluated effects of enzymatic hydrolysates of squid on cholesterol lowering in rats. Thirty male rats were blocked into 3 groups [high cholesterol diet (control), 5% normal squid, and 5% enzymatic hydrolysates of squid] and were raised for 10 weeks. Triglyceride level in enzymatic hydrolysates of squid-fed rats was lower than that in the control. Serum low density lipoprotein-cholesterol level followed in the order of control>normal squid>enzymatic hydrolysates. Serum high density lipoprotein-cholesterol level in enzymatic hydrolysates of squid-fed rats was higher than that in control rats. Liver cholesterol level in enzymatic hydrolysates of squid-fed rats was lower than that in control rats.

Characteristics of Heat Shrinkable High Density Polyethylene Crosslinked by ${\gamma}$-Irradiation

  • The effects of ${\gamma}$-irradiation on the crosslinking of high density polyethylene (HDPE) was investigated for the purpose of obtaining a suitable formulation for heat shrinkable materials. In this study the HDPE specimens were prepared by blending with cross linking agents and pressed into a 0.2 mm sheet at 18$0^{\circ}C$. ${\gamma}$-irradiation was conducted at 40 to 100 kGy in nitrogen. The heat shrinkable property and thermal mechanical property of the HDPE sheets have been investigated. It was found that the degree of crosslinking of the irradiated HDPE samples were increased with irradiation dose. Compared with the HDPE containing triallylisocyanurate, the HDPE containing trimethylol propane triacrylate shows a slight increase in crosslinking density. The heat transformation and dimension change of HDPE decreased with increasing radiation dose. The heat shrinkage of the samples increased with increasing annealing temperatures. The thermal resistance of HDPE increased upon the crosslinking of HDPE.
