고강도 인바계 합금의 열팽창 및 인장 특성에 미치는 바나듐과 탄소 원소 첨가 영향 (Effects of V and C additions on the Thermal Expansion and Tensile Properties of a High Strength Invar Base Alloy)

  • The current study seeks to examine the effects of V and C additions on the mechanical and low thermal expansion properties of a high strength invar base alloy. The base alloy (Fe-36%Ni-0.9%Co-2.75%Mo-0.7Cr-0.23Mn-0.17Si-0.3%C, wt.%) contains $Mo_2C$ carbides, which form as the main precipitate. In contrast, alloys with additions of 0.4%V+0.3%C (alloy A) or 0.4%V+0.45%C (alloy B) contain $Mo_2C$+[V, Mo]C carbides. The average thermal expansion coefficients of these high strength invar based alloys were measured in the range of $5.16{\sim}5.43{\mu}m/m{\cdot}^{\circ}C$ for temperatures of $15{\sim}230^{\circ}C$. Moreover, alloy B showed lower thermal expansion coefficient than the other alloys in this temperature range. For the mechanical properties, the [V, Mo]C improved hardness and strengths(Y.S. and T.S.) of the high strength invar base alloy. T.S.(tensile strength) and Y.S.(yield strength) of hot forged alloy B specimen were measured at 844.6MPa and 518.0MPa, respectively. The tensile fractography of alloy B exhibited a ductile transgranular fracture mode and voids were initiated between the [V, Mo]C particles and the matrix. Superior properties of high strength and low thermal expansion coefficient can be obtained by [V, Mo]C precipitation in alloy B with the addition of 0.4%V and 0.45%C.

  • Effects of dietary nutrient content on the biological index and serum chemistry of olive flounder Paralichthys olivaceus achieving compensatory growth were investigated. Six treatments were prepared in triplicate. Fish were hand-fed with the control (C) diet twice daily for 8 weeks (8W-C) or fish were starved for 2 weeks and then hand-fed with the C, high protein (HP), high carbohydrate (HC), high lipid (HL), or intermediate protein, carbohydrate and lipid (IPCL) diets for 6 weeks, referred to as 6W-C, 6W-HP, 6W-HC, 6W-HL, and 6W-IPCL, respectively. Weight gain of fish in the 8W-C, 6W-HP, and 6W-IPCL treatments was higher than that of fish in the 6W-C treatment. Condition factor (CF) of the fish in the 6W-HP, 6W-HC and 6W-IPCL treatments was higher than that of fish in the 8W-C and 6W-C treatments. The hepatosomatic index (HSI) of fish in the 6W-HC, 6W-HL and 6W-IPCL treatments was higher than that of the fish in the 8W-C, 6W-C and 6W-HP treatments. Serum chemistry except triiodothyronine ($T_3$) was not significantly different among the treatments. In conclusion, CF and HSI of the fish could be indices reflecting compensatory growth, whereas $T_3$ seemed to play a partial role in achieving compensatory growth.

채취산지별 물푸레나무 종자의 온도에 대한 발아반응 비교 (Comparison of Seed Germination Response to Temperature by Provenances in Fraxinus rhynchophylla)

  • 산지별 물푸레나무 종자의 산지이동시 생태적 조건에 대한 적응력을 예측하고 직파조림 및 포지양묘 시 최대의 발아효과를 얻고자 $5{\sim}35^{\circ}C$의 범위에서 온도에 대한 발아반응을 조사한 결과, 발아율, 발아속도에서 채취산지간 차이가 관찰되었다. 인제에서 채취한 종자가 저온($5{\sim}15^{\circ}C$)에서 발아율이 우세하였으며, 고온($30{\sim}35^{\circ}C$)에서는 강릉의 종자가 우세하였다. 또한 발아율 값에 의한 2차 회귀식 모델에서 도출된 기준온도, 최대온도 및 적정온도는 4개 산지간 다양하게 나타났는데, 인제가 가장 낮았고 강릉이 가장 높게 나타났다. 발아속도에 근거한 주요 온도 추정 모델 역시 산지간에 다양하게 나타났다. 기준온도의 경우 횡성이 가장 낮았으며 강릉이 가장 높았다. 최대온도 및 적정온도는 인제에서 가장 낮게 나타났으며, 역시 강릉에서 가장 높게 나타나 발아에 영향을 미치는 주요 온도들의 경우 저온산지보다 비교적 고온인 산지에서 더 높게 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 유묘생산을 위한 파종시 주요 온도를 고려할 때 2차 회귀모델과 선형모델 중 어느 것을 선택할 지는 유묘생산시의 목표에 달려있다. 즉 유묘생산량에 초점을 두었다면 2차 회귀모델을, 출현속도나 균일성에 초점을 두었다면 선형모델을 선택함이 바람직할 것이다.

  • $0.18{\mu}m$ deep n-well 벌크 NMOSFET에서 측정된 차단주파수 $f_T$의 고온종속성을 모델화하기 위해, 측정된 S-파라미터를 사용한 정확한 RF 방법으로 $30^{\circ}C$에서 $250^{\circ}C$까지 전자속도 고온 데이터가 추출되었다. 이러한 추출데이터를 사용하여 개선된 온도종속 전자속도 방정식이 높은 온도의 범위에서 생기는 기존 방정식의 모델링 오차를 없애기 위해 개발되었으며 BSIM3v3 SPICE RF 모델에 구현되었다. 개선된 온도 종속 방정식은 기존 모델보다 $30^{\circ}C$에서 $250^{\circ}C$까지 측정된 $f_T$와 더 잘 일치하였으며, 이는 개선된 방정식의 정확성을 입증한다.

초등학교 남학생의 체지방률에 따른 렙틴, 인슐린 및 혈청지질에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Levels of Leptin, Insulin and Serum Lipids of Primary School Boys Depending on %Fat)

  • 남자 비만 초등학생들을 대상으로 체지방률에 따른 경도비만(%fat 20∼24.9%), 중도비만(25∼29.9%), 고도비만 (30%이상)으로 분류하여 인슐린, leptin 및 혈청지질을 분석·평가하였다. 인슐린은 고도비만 초등학생들이 다른 집단에 비해 유의하게 높게 나타났으며, leptin은 경도비만 초등학생들에 비해 중도비만 초등학생들과 고도비만 초등학생들이 유의하게 높게 나타났다. T-C는 경도비만 초등학생들에 비해 고도비만 초등학생들이 유의하게 높게 나타났으며, 체지방률이 높을수록 HDL-C가 높아지는 경향이 있으나 유의한 차이는 없었다. TG는 고도비만 집단이 다른 집단에 비해 유의하게 높게 나타났다. LDL-C는 체지방률이 높아질수록 조금씩 증가하는 경향이 나타났으나 유의한 차이는 없었다. 이상의 결과에서 비만 초등학생들 중에서도 체지방률에 따라서 인슐린, leptin, T-C 및 TG에서 유의한 차이가 나타나 비만을 관리 하는데 있어서 체계적이고, 세분화된 프로그램의 개발이 시급한 실정이다.

고점도 다당류를 생산하는 갈근 내생균의 분리 및 특성 (Isolation and Characterization of High Viscosity Polysaccharide Producing Endophytic Bacteria from Pueraria Root)

  • 식용 및 약용으로 광범위하게 이용되고 있는 갈근 내부조직으로부터 강한 점액성 물질을 생산하는 50개의 내생 균주를 분리하였다. 다당류의 수율이 높은 내생균주 HDN-14, TDG-3및 TNB-3 균주를 선발하여 이들이 생산하는 다당류의 구성당 조성을 분석한 결과 glucose ($45.6{\sim}63.1%$), maltose ($14.6{\sim}23.7%$) 및 fructose ($17.4{\sim}23.7%$)가 검출되었다. 이들 분리균주의 16S rDNA 염기서열(약 1,300bp)을 결정하여 계통학적 위치를 검토한 결좌, ${\grmma}$-Proteobacteria 그룹의 Pseudomonas 속에 속하는 균주임이 확인되었으며, HDN-14과 TNB-3 균주는 Pseudomonas $koreensis^T$, Pseudomonas $jessenii^T$$99.06{\sim}99.32%$의 상동성을 나타내었으며 TDG-3 균주는 Pseudomonas $plecoglossicida^T$, Pseudomonas $mosselii^T$, Pseudomonas $monteilii^T$$99.48{\sim}99.74%$ 상동성을 나타내었다. 이들 분리균주는 주요 균체지방산으로 $3OH-C_{10:0}$, $2OH-C_{12:0}$, $3OH-C_{12:0}$, $3OH-C_{12:0}$$3OH-C_{12:1}$가 검출되었으며, TDG-3 균주의 경우, 3-OH $C_{13:0}$, 3-OH $C_{14:0}$, 3-OH $C_{15:0}$ 및 3-OH $C_{16:0}$등 다양한 종류의 3-OH 지방산이 검출되어 기존의 Pseudomonas 종과 비교하여 매우 특징적인 성질을 나타내었다.

  • The growth of crystals with high melting points tfus$\geq$1$600^{\circ}C$ faces the researcher with experimental problems, as the choice of materials that withstand such high t is rather limited. Many metallic construction materials are in this high t range already molten or exhibit at least a drastically reduced mechanical strength. The very few materials with tfus》1$600^{\circ}C$ as e.g. W, Mo, and partially even Ir are more or less sensitive against oxygen upon heating. Whenever possible, high t crystal growth is performed under inert atmosphere (noble gases). Unfortunately, any oxides are not thermodynamically stable under such conditions, as reduction takes place within such atmosphere. A thoroughly search for suitable growth conditions has to be performed, that are on the one side "oxidative enough" to keep the oxides stable and on the other side "reductive enough" to avoid destruction of constructive parts of the crystal growth assembly. The relevant parameters are t and the oxygen partial pressure pO2. The paper discusses quantitatively relevant properties of interesting oxides and construction materials and ways to forecast their behavior under growth conditions.r growth conditions.

저온 디젤 연소에서 T90 온도가 배기가스에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of T90 Temperature on Exhaust Emissions in Low-temperature Diesel Combustion)

  • This study is to investigate the effect of the distillation temperature in ultra low sulfur diesel fuel on exhaust emissions in the low-temperature diesel combustion with 1.9L common rail direct injection diesel engine. Low temperature diesel combustion was achieved by adopting an external high EGR rate with a strategic injection control. The engine was operated at 1500 rpm 2.6 bar BMEP. The 90% distillation recovery temperature (T90) was $270^{\circ}C$ and $340^{\circ}C$ for the respective cetane number (CN) 30 and 55. It was found that there exists no distinctive discrepancy on exhaust emissions with regards to the different T90s. The high CN (CN55) fuels follow the similar trend of exhaust emissions as observed in CN30 fuels' except that high T90 fuel (CN55-T340) produced higher PM compared to low T90 fuel (CN55-T270). This may come from that high T90 plays an active role in aggravating the degree of fuel-air mixture preparedness before ignition.

Pseudogap behavior in interlayer tunneling spectroscopy in $Bi_{2}Sr_{2}CaCu_{2}O_{8+x}$

  • A pseudogap in the normal-state quasiparticle density of states of $high-T_c$ superconductors has been revealed in many different kinds of experiments. The existence of the pseudogap and the superconducting gap, and the correlation between them has attracted considerable attention because they are believed to be a key to understanding the mechanism of the $high-T_c$ superconductivity. The interlayer tunneling spectroscopy, excluding the surface-dependent effect, is one of the most accurate means to examine the electron spectral characteristics both in the superconducting and the normal states. In this study, a new constant-temperature intrinsic tunneling spectroscopic technique, excluding the overheating effect using the in-situ temperature monitoring combined with the digital proportional-integral-derivative control, is introduced. The implication on the $high-T_c$ superconductivity of the detailed temperature dependencies of the observed spectral weight in $Bi_{2}Sr_{2}CaCu_{2}O_{8+x}\;high-T_c$ material for overdoped and underdoped levels is discussed.

The Analysis of Current Limiting Performance in a High-$T_c$ Superconductor using Flux-Lock Concepts

  • In this paper, we analyzed the fault current performance in a $high-T_{c}$ superconductor(HTS) which was installed on flux-lock reactor with an external magnetic field coil covering the HTS. In this HTS fault current limiter using flux-lock concepts, the initial limiting current level can be controlled by adjusting the inductance of the coils. Furthermore, the current limiting characteristics of $high-T_{c}$ superconducting FCL can be improved by applying the external magnetic field into the $high-T_{c}$ superconductor. This paper discusses current limiting performance according to the inductance of the coil 1 in two cases with ac magnetic field coil or not and suggests the methods to improve the current limiting factor $P_{limit}$, which is defined as the ratio of the limited current $I_{FCL}$ at the current limiting phase to the prospective short -circuit current $I_{PSC}$.TEX> PSC/.
