A High-Performance Position Sensorless Motion Control System of Induction Motor with Direct Torque Control (직접 토크제어에 의한 위치검출기 없는 유도전동기의 고성능 모션제어 시스템)

  • This paper presents an implementation of digital high-performance Position sensorless motion control system of an induction motor drives with Direct Torque Control(DTC). The system consist of closed loop stator flux and torque observer, speed and torque estimators, two hysteresis controller, optimal switching look-up table, IGBT voltage source inverter, and TMS320C31 DSP board. The stator flux observer is based on the combined current and voltage model with stator flux feedback adaptive control of which inputs are current and voltage sensed on motor terminal for wide speed range. The speed observer is using the model reference adaptive system(MRAS) with rotor flux linkages for speed turning signal. The simulation and experimental results are provided to evacuate the consistency and the performance of the suggested position sensorless control algorithm. The developed position sensorless system are shown a good motion control response characteristic and high performance features using 2.2[kw] general purposed induction motor.

  • Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors(PMSMs) have a wider range of applications due to their high output density and high efficiency. PMSMs are used not only in high-power density, high-performance motor-driven systems such as vehicle and robots, but also in systems where cost-cutting is very important, such as washing machines, air conditioners and refrigerators. To reduce costs, position sensorless control is required, which is generally difficult to be used under conditions of starting the motor. Thus, the I-F speed control that rotates the current vector at any speed in the starting procedure should be used at first, and then the sensorless speed control could be applied after PMSM rotates above a certain speed. Speed control performance in I-F speed control and sensorless speed control is very important. And more speed control performance should be maintained even in the transient in which the two control techniques are changed. In this paper, the speed controller transition method from I-F speed control to sensorless speed control of permanent magnet synchronous motor is proposed. Experiments were carried out on the washing machine drive system to verify the performance of the proposed technique.

The Effects of Education According to Constitution & Character of Patients Who have Stroke (뇌졸중 환자의 체질별 건강통제위 성격별 자가간호에 대한 교육의 효과)

  • This study was designed to explore the effectiveness of education to improve self-care of stroke patients with three types of charactor health locus of control and constitution. A total of 56 patients were selected by convenience sampling at one oriental hospital. The teaching of self-care was conducted by the researcher. The self-care performance was measured for 10 days. The data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA and Scheffe method as post hoc test. The results of this study are as follows : 1. The self-care performance by patients' characteristics : Age and education had impact on the self-care performance. The level of self-care performance of young and high educated patients was high, gender, religion, occupation, monthly income, and the paralyzed side, however, didn't have influence on the self-care performance. 2. The self-care performance of patients with three types of constitution : There was no statistical significance on the self-care performance of patients group by constitution. However, average score of self-care performance of patients with So-Um was high. 3. The self-care performance of patients with three types of health locus of control : There was no statistical significance on self-care performance of patient group by health locus of control. 4. The correlation between the constitution and the health locus of control : There was no statistical significance on the introverted and chance health locus of control of patients with three types of constitution. However, there was a statistically significant relationship between the powerful others health locus of control and So-Yang. Even though there was no statistically significant self-care performance of patients with So-Um, there was a clinical significance on the high score of self-care performance of patients with So-Um as compared with the self-care performance of the patients. The health locus of control didn't have influence on the self-care performance of patients. There was a statistically significant relationship between the powerful others health locus of control and So-Yang. Therefore, this study suggest the need to develop the nursing intervention to improve the self-care of stroke patients with the powerful others health locus of control and So-Yang, Furthermore, the longitudinal research is needed to determine the effectiveness of training to imp

  • This paper deals with speed control of DC servo motor using a Adaptive high gain obserber. In this parer, the gain of the observer is properly set up using the fuzzy control and adaptive high gain observer that have a superior transient characteristic and is easy to implement compared the existing method is designed. In order to verify the performance of the Adaptive high gain observer which is proposed in this paper, it is compared estimate performance of High-gain Observer and Adaptive High Gain Observer with the computer simulation. Effectiveness of the proposed high gain observer is proved from the experiment to compare the case with a speed sensor to the case with Adaptive high gain observer in the speed control of DC servo motor.

  • SRM(Switched Reluctance Motor) uses reluctance torque by pulse excitation control. SRM drives are much studied in electrical vehicles and industrial application due to the simple, robust mechanical structure and high speed characteristics. For the high performance control of SRM, it is necessary to synchronize the stator phase excitation with the rotor position. This paper proposes a new encoder for high performance excitation control of SRM. The proposed encoder has complex structures of incremental and absolute encoder. An each phase inductance profile can be synchronized with 4-bit absolute position signal and incremental pulses are used for speed detection. Low cost and simple manufacturing of SRM encoder is possible.

  • Recently, the application of the linear machine for industrial field is remarkable increased, especially for the gantry machine. machine tool system and CNC. In these application fields. high precise position control performance is essentially required in both the steady and transient state. And linear machine is necessary for high-precision processing and manipulation when relatively high forces are involved. This paper presents the new unified PID position control algorithm which have rare sensitivity to disturbance, which the gain adjusting process is simple. Also this paper investigates the use of the New Unified PID control to design for high stiffness. Through the experimental results, it is shown that the proposed algorithm has high dynamic characteristic for the linear machine application field nevertheless of its simple structure.

  • This paper presents a robust impedance control of high-DOF robot based on disturbance observer(DOB). A novel DOB is derived by considering the residual disturbance caused by the difference between actual disturbance and disturbance decoupling input which utilizes the estimated disturbance. It focuses on the elimination of the residual disturbance and improvement of the control performance as well as the good estimation of disturbances. In the control of high-DOF robot, numerical dynamic model, which is conducted by a software based on dynamics, is utilized because the analytical model of high-DOF robot is difficult to be obtained. The simulation of high-DOF robot with numerical dynamic model is provided to verify the performance of the proposed controller.

  • This paper describes a control scheme of speed sensorless fuzzy direct torque control (FDTC) of permanent magnet synchronous motor for electric vehicle (EV). Electric vehicle requires fast torque response and high efficiency of the drive. Speed sensorless FDTC In-wheel PMSM drives without mechanical speed sensors at the motor shaft have the attractions of low cost, quick response and high reliability in electric vehicle application. This paper presents a new approach to estimate the speed of in-wheel electrical vehicles based on Model Reference Adaptive System (MRAS). The direct torque control suffers in low speeds due to the effect of changes in stator resistance on the flux measurements. To improve the system performance at low speeds, a PI-fuzzy resistance estimator is proposed to eliminate the error due to changes in stator resistance. High performance sensorless drive of the in-wheel motor based on MRAS with on line stator resistance tuning is established for four motorized wheels electric vehicle and the whole system is simulated by matalb/simulink. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the new control strategy. This proposed control strategy is extensively used in electric vehicle application.

  • A semi-passive vibration isolation control method for enhancing pointing performance of on-board payload has been derived, and its effectiveness has been evaluated through numerical simulation. The semi-passive control law proposed in this study was derived so as to obtain the same performance as a high passive damping at low frequencies and obtain the same performance as a passive low damping at high frequencies. In the numerical simulation, the intended vibration isolation performance of the semi-passive control law has been obtained.
