유아의 행복에 대한 유아의 정서성과 어머니의 우울 및 양육행동의 영향 (Child's Happiness: Effects of Emotionality, Mother's Depression and Parenting Behaviors)

  • This study investigated the relations among a child's emotionality, mother's depression and parenting behaviors in predicting a child's happiness. Participants were 384 children(175 boys, 209 girls) and their mothers. The teachers completed the rating scale to measure a child's happiness. A child's emotionality, mother's depression and parenting behaviors were assessed by a mother-reported questionnaire. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlations, and hierarchical multiple regressions. Results showed that child's emotionality was negatively related to their happiness. Mother's depression had a negative relation to child's happiness. Mother's warmth-encouragement, overprotection-permission, and reject-nonintervention was significantly related to a child's happiness. Hierarchical regression analysis indicated that the interaction of child's emotionality and mother's reject-nonintervention predicted child's happiness. Child's emotionality, whose mother demonstrated a higher level of reject-nonintervention, was associated significantly with happiness. In addition, the association between mother's depression and child's happiness was mediated by mother's warmth-encouragement and reject-nonintervention. Results suggest the importance of mother's role in the context of intervention planning for child's happiness.

대학생의 애착과 심리적 안녕감과의 관계: 공감능력과 우울의 매개효과 (Relationship between Adult Attachment and Psychological Well-Being of University Students: The Mediating Effects of Empathic Ability and Depression)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effects of empathic ability and depression on the relationship between adult attachment and psychological well-being of university students. We conducted a survey on 318 university students in Cheongju-si and Hongseong gun. The data were analyzed by Pearson' productive correlation, hierarchical regression analysis and Sobel test. The results were as follows: Firstly, anxiety attachment, empathic ability and depression were significant predictors of the psychological well-being of university students. Depression was the strongest predictors psychological well-being. Secondly, depression mediated partially the relationship between anxiety attachment and psychological well-being, and empathic ability and depression mediated partially the relationship between avoidance attachment and psychological well-being. In conclusion, the empathic ability and depression mediate the effects of adult attachment on psychological well-being of university students. The implications and limitations of this study were discussed.

초등학교 고학년 아동의 부모 간 갈등이 외현적 공격성에 미치는 영향과 부모-자녀 간 갈등의 매개효과 (Effect of Interparental Conflict on Overt Aggression in Upper Elementary School Students: The Mediating Role of Parent-Child Conflict)

  • This study examined the effect of interparental conflict and parent-child conflict on overt aggression in upper elementary school students and investigates if children's father-child conflict or mother-child conflict mediated the effect of interparental conflict on overt aggression. The participants of this study were 532 of fifth to sixth graders from three elementary schools located in Seoul and Gyeong-gi province. Participants were asked to respond to a written questionnaire to measure research variables of the Peer Conflict Scale, the Conflict Tactics Scales, and the Conflict Behavior Questionnaire. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and hierarchical multiple regression. Mediating effects were examined using analysis procedures of Baron and Kenny. The major findings were as follows: first, the level of interparental conflict and parent-child conflict of both mothers and fathers in upper elementary school students increased the level of overt aggression. Second, parent-child conflict of both mothers and fathers in upper elementary school students partially mediated the relation between interparental conflict and overt aggression. Higher levels of interparental conflict resulted in higher levels of parent-child conflict, and the subsequently higher frequency of overt aggression in upper elementary school students.

대학생의 부정적 정서가 자살생각에 미치는 영향: 성별을 통한 폭발적 행동의 매개된 조절효과 (Influence of Negative Emotion on the Suicidal Ideation in University Student: Mediated Moderating Effect of Explosive Behavior through Gender)

  • 본 연구는 대학생들의 부정적 정서가 자살생각에 미치는 영향에서 성별을 통해 폭발적 행동이 매개된 조절효과를 검증하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 대학생 644명(남자 322명, 여자 322명)을 대상으로 우울, 불안, 폭발적 행동 및 자살생각을 조사하였고, 매개된 조절효과는 위계적 회귀분석과 경로분석을 통해 분석하였으며, 단순기울기검정 결과를 도식으로 제시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 부정적 정서, 폭발적 행동과 자살생각 간에 모두 유의한 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 부정적 정서와 자살생각 간의 관계에서 성별의 조절효과는 유의하였다. 셋째, 부정적 정서와 자살생각 간의 관계에서 폭발적 행동의 매개효과는 유의하였다. 넷째, 폭발적 행동과 자살생각 간의 관계에서 성별의 조절효과는 유의하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 성별에 따른 부정적 정서와 폭발적 행동이 자살생각의 증진에 미치는 영향에 대한 시사점 및 후속연구에 대한 제언을 논의하였다.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of role ambiguity on the relationship between self-efficacy and job satisfaction of visiting supervisors for multicultural families. The subjects were 243 visiting supervisors for multicultural families. The data were analyzed with SPSS Win 15.0 using Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, hierarchical multiple regression and path analysis. The findings showed that both self-efficacy and role ambiguity exerted a significant effect on the job satisfaction of visiting supervisors for multicultural families. Further, it is important to note that the effect of self-efficacy on job satisfaction was mediated by role ambiguity. The study discussed implications in terms of job satisfaction of visiting supervisors for multicultural families.

대학생의 애착과 주관적 안녕감과의 관계: 대인관계 매개효과를 중심으로 (A Study on the Relationship between Attachment and Subjective Well-Being: Focusing on Mediating Effects of Interpersonal Relationship)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of interpersonal relationship on the relationship between attachment and subjective well-being of university students. We conducted a survey on 336 university students in Andong-si and Cheongju-si. The data were analyzed by Pearson's productive correlation, hierarchical regression analysis and Sobel test. The results were as follows: First, affective well-being made an effect by avoidant attachment and anxiety attachment, and was more affected by interpersonal relationship than anxiety attachment including mediating variable of interpersonal relationship. Second, there was a significant effect in cognitive well-being only by anxiety attachment. Including mediating variables of interpersonal relationship, cognitive well-being affected by interpersonal relationship only. Third, interpersonal relationship mediated partially the relationship between attachment and affective well-being, and perfectly between attachment and cognitive well-being.

The Mediating Effect of Acceptance Action in the Relationship between Diabetes Distress and Self-stigma among Old Adults with Diabetes in South Korea

  • Purpose: This study investigated the mediating effects of acceptance action on the relationship between diabetes distress and self-stigma in older adults with diabetes. Methods: A descriptive research approach was adopted using 187 patients diagnosed with diabetes mellitus by an endocrinology doctor. The data were collected from 26 to 31 March, 2020 and were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient analysis, and hierarchical multiple regression. Results: The mean scores for diabetes distress, self-stigma, and acceptance action were 2.98±0.64, 2.54±0.74, and 4.16±0.35, respectively. Acceptance action partially mediated the relationship between diabetes distress and self-stigma (z=1.98, p=.024), with an explanatory power of 51.0%. Conclusion: To reduce diabetes self-stigma among old adults in diabetes distress situations, it is necessary to improve their acceptance action and develop step-by-step differentiated acceptance action enhancement programs through multidisciplinary collaborations.

육아시설 청소년의 자아정체감과 지각된 보육사의 정서적 지지에 의한 청소년의 성가치관 (A Study on the Sexual Values of Institutionalized Adolescents in Terms of Ego-Identity and Perceived Emotional Support from Care Teachers)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of ego?identity and rare teacher's emotional support on the value of sexuality of institutionalized adolescents. The subjects were 102 middle school adolescents in Daegu and Cyeongsangbuk Province, Korea. Ego-identity of the institutional youth, perceived emotional support of care teacher and sexual values reported by the institutionalized adolescents. The data were analyzed with an AMOS 5.5 Program by comparative fit index and a SPSS Win program 12.0 using cronbach's $\alpha$, simple regression, hierarchical multiple regression and path analysis. The findings showed that both the degree of ego-identity and perceived emotional support of care teacher exerted a significant effect on the sexual values of institutional youth. Furthermore, it is important to note that the care teacher's emotional support influenced sexual values of the youth, and was mediated by the ego-identity of the institutional youth.

장애인복지관 종사자의 성장욕구가 고객지향성에 미치는 영향 : 참여적 의사결정의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The effect of the growth needs on customer orientation of staff at welfare centers for people with disabilities : Focusing on the mediation effect of participative decision making)

  • 이 연구는 장애인복지관 종사자의 성장욕구가 고객지향성에 미치는 영향과 이에 대한 참여적 의사결정의 매개효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 수행되었다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 전국 장애인복지관 종사자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 최종적으로 총 847부의 설문지를 분석하였다. 참여적 의사결정의 매개효과를 확인하기 위해 Baron과 Kenny가 제시한 3단계 위계적 회귀분석을 진행하였으며, 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성장욕구는 고객지향성에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 참여적 의사결정은 성장욕구와 고객지향성 간의 관계를 매개하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 장애인복지관 종사자의 고객지향성 제고를 위해 개인적인 차원과 조직적인 측면에서의 방안을 제언하였다.

유아의 애착안정성이 조망수용에 미치는 영향: 실행기능의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Attachment Security on Preschoolers' Perspective Taking: Executive Function as a Mediator)

  • Objective: This study aimed to examine the prospective links among perspective taking, attachment security, and executive function and the mediating role of executive function on the relationship between attachment security and perspective taking. Methods: The participants included 147 preschoolers living in Gyeonggi. The data-analysis methods included descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, one-way ANOVAs, Pearson's correlation analysis, hierarchical multiple regression analysis, and the Sobel test. Results: First, preschoolers' perspective taking was significantly related to attachment security, and executive function. Furthermore, there was a significant association between attachment security and executive function. As expected, the correlations were positive in all cases. Second, the effects of attachment security on intention and emotion perspective takings were fully mediated by executive function when holding children's age and vocabulary constant. However, executive function did not predict thought perspective taking, whereas attachment security did. Conclusion: Given that parent-child attachment security might play an important role in child cognitive and socio-cognitive development, parents' endeavors to enhance the quality of the attachment relationship could be a fruitful path for preschoolers' developing executive capacities and perspective taking.
