가족행사로서의 성년례 정착을 위한 방안연구 - 어머니들의 성년례에 대한 인식과 실천사례를 중심으로 - (Research on the Practice of Coming-of-Age Ceremonies as a Family Event)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide fundamental information of the practice of coming-of-age ceremonies as a family event. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, research questionnaires were developed, and 321 mothers residing in Seoul, South Korea were selected as the research subjects. The study was conducted from April 15th, 2010 to June 25th, 2010. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS17 computer programs. The conclusions are as follows. 1. In the future, coming-of-age ceremonies will be necessary in family event. 2. Education for mothers (specifically for mothers under the age of 30) opposed to coming-of-age ceremonies is necessary. 3. The contents for the education of coming-of-age ceremonies must include ceremony processes, alcohol consumption etiquette, and sex education. 4. Coming-of-age ceremonies, as family events, will be desirable to have on the 19th birthday. 5. Education of coming-of age ceremonies must be done in schools or social educational institutions. The Healthy Family Support Center will especially be able to play a central role. 6. Education of coming-of-age ceremonies is necessary even from the popular media.

신혼기 부부교육 프로그램 운영실태에 관한 연구 - 건강가정지원센터 프로그램을 중심으로 - (A Study on Evaluating the Family Life Education Program for Newly Married Couples - Focusing on Healthy Family Support Centers -)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide the basic data required for the development and operation of high-quality education programs for newly married couples. The subjects were 60 education programs for newly married couples that were performed by 30 Healthy Family Support Centers in Seoul and the Gyeonggi area. The collected data were analyzed by applying appropriateness, efficiency, and effectiveness on the basis of program plan, execution, and evaluation. The results were as follows. First, the appropriateness of the program plans was no center that performed need survey. As for program advertisement, on-line, off-line, and person -to-person advertisements were used. Second, the education goals and contents were classified according to healthy family life, the essence of the marriage, gender equality, conflict management, problem prevention, relationship improvement, understanding of mutual similarities or differences, financial plan and management, and parenting. Each session lasted 2 hours, and the total number of program hours was 5 to 6 hours. The education methods were activities, lectures, and discussions.

건강가정지원센터의 1인 가구 대상 특화 프로그램 방향성 모색 - 서울시 사례를 중심으로 (A direction of specific program for single households in Healthy Family Support Centers - focused on Seoul)

  • This study aimed to suggest the direction and guideline of specific program for single households in the Healthy Families Support Centers. This study focused on Seoul area. To collect the data the in-depth interviews for 9 staffs managing the program for single person in field are progressed. The major results were as follows. First, we found the demand and validity of a specific program for single person households. Because they are different each other in the context of age, sex, marriage experience, everyday life and need for program. So the specific programs can give higher satisfaction to the single person household. Second, to manage the specific program effectively in field we need the retraining of staffs, sharing materials between centers and other institutions, presentation and communication about the information on program management in field.

중소기업 근로자의 일·생활 균형을 위한 가족친화경영 우수사례연구 (A Qualitative Case Study of Work-Family Balance at Five Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises)

  • This qualitative case study focuses on five small and medium-sized enterprises which have put family-friendly management into successful practice. Through in-depth unstructured interviews with five human resources managers and ten employees, we describe each firm's approach to work-life balance including working hour reductions, breaks, work flexibility, and parental leave to build an overall picture. We also discuss the four key factors of the CEO's role; democratic communication between all staff, the usefulness of family-friendly certification as a starting point; and governmental support for promoting work-life balance at small and medium-sized enterprises. Finally, we suggest three political implications of governmental support, namely CEO education, changing the criteria of family-friendly certification to redefine working hours and work flexibility, and incentives specifically for small to medium-sized enterprises.

다문화가족지원센터 이용자 만족도 척도 개발 (The Development of a Client Satisfaction Questionnaire on Multicultural Family Support Services)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to develop and examine the psychometric properties of the Client Satisfaction Questionnaire on multicultural family support services. Methods: The Client Satisfaction Questionnaire was designed to address key elements of the client's satisfaction with the services (i.e., family education, gender equality education, human right education, and social integration education) provided for multicultural families. The nationwide data were collected from 5,335 clients who participated in family education, 4,582 clients who participated in gender equality education, 4,777 clients who participated in human right education, and 5,547 clients who participated in social integration education at the multicultural family support center. Results: In general, the psychometric properties of the Client Satisfaction Questionnaire were satisfactory. Specifically, social validity was supported by 13 professors and local multicultural service center professionals and construct validity was tested and confirmed using a series of exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses. The split-half reliability and internal consistency of the questionnaire were also highly acceptable. Conclusion: The sound psychometric properties of the Client Satisfaction Questionnaire indicates that the it can be a useful tool for evaluating client satisfaction with the services provided by multicultural family support centers.

가족친화지수 추세분석에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Transition of the Family-Friendly Index)

  • This study analyzes the transition of the Family-Friendly Index from 2007 to 2012. This index was developed using a questionnaire survey that is distributed to listed companies and public institutions every year by the Ministry of Gender Equality & Family(MOGEF) and the Family-Friendly Support Center. The Family-Friendly Index contains an introduction to and the practical use of family-friendly regulations and programs, such as flexible working systems, parental leave, family leave, EAP, and family-friendly culture. The number of companies involved in the Family-Friendly Index is increasing every year, and has increased from 41.7 in 2007 to 58.9 in 2012. In particular, family-friendly companies testimonialized by the MOGEF are using more family-friendly programs than other company.

지역주민의 욕구에 따른 가족지원사업 필요에 관한 연구 (Studies on Family Support Programs according to the Needs of Community Residents)

  • 본 연구는 지역주민들의 가족관련 욕구가 무엇인지 파악하고, 대상특성별 욕구의 차이를 발견하여 이를 토대로 차별화된 가족지원사업이 이루어지도록 기초자료를 제공하고자 지역주민을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 지역주민의 가정내 관심사는 '가족관계의 문제' 보다도 '자녀교육 및 양육의 어려움'이 주된 관심사로 나타나, 전체주민을 위한 가족지원센터에서의 지원이 가정내 자녀양육에 있어서의 교육적인 면에서나 경제적인 면에서의 어려움을 경감시키는 데 초점이 맞춰져야 할 것으로 보인다. 다음으로 가족의 욕구에 부응하는 가족지원센터의 존재에 대해 인식정도가 높은 반면, 실질적인 이용률은 매우 낮았으며, 이용주민들도 조손가구나 한부모가구, 다문화가구 등 특수한 가족욕구를 지닌 경우에 이용하는 비율이 높아 일반가정을 대상으로 한 서비스기관의 홍보가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 지역주민의 특성별로 가족욕구에 차이가 나타났는데, 성별, 연령대, 학력수준, 가족형태, 직업군, 소득수준에 따라 필요로 하는 서비스프로그램에 차이가 나타나 이를 반영한 차별적인 서비스접근이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

문화사업 담당 건강가정사 양성 및 보수교육을 위한 직무와 역량 분석 (An Analysis of the Job and Competency of Healthy Family Supporter for Culture Work)

  • 본 연구는 건강가정 문화사업 담당 건강가정사의 주요 직무를 분석하고 핵심역량과 역량개발영역을 파악하고자 일정 경력 이상의 대상자를 조사한 것이다. 그 결과 문화사업 담당 건강가정사가 인지하는 주요직무 1순위는 프로그램 기획과 가족자원봉사 프로그램 기획으로 거론되었으며, 핵심역량은 의식주 생활문화와 여가문화의 이해, 대인관계 및 사회성 향상 기술, 창의적이고 독창적인 사고능력, 전문가다운 문제해결 태도로 나타났다. 개발하여야 하는 역량 영역으로는 프로그램 기획과 평가, 보고서 및 평가서 등의 서류 작성 기술, 창의적이고 독창적인 사고능력, 전문가다운 문제해결 능력인 것으로 나타나 현장에 투입되어야 하는 관련 분야 종사자들의 필수 이수교과목들과 종사자 보수교육 주제에 시사점을 제공하고 있다.

2023년 전국 가족센터 이용자 대상 가족생활 실태 연구 (2023 Family Life Survey of National Family Center Users)

  • The purpose of this study was to describe the family life and relationships of national family center users in 2023. A sample of 1,086 adults was recruited from 48 family centers across South Korea. Participants, both online and offline, reported on various aspects of family life, including satisfaction, gender equality, work-home-life balance, family leisure, and internet usage for family and household purposes. Additionally, family relationships were explored in terms of dynamics with a spouse, children, and adult children. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and t-tests. In the family life domain, center users reported a high level of satisfaction, with women exhibiting greater awareness of gender equality and higher engagement in household chores than men. Furthermore, although a moderate balance among work, home, and life was reported, time emerged as a significant challenge for family leisure. Regarding technology, center users frequently utilized the internet for family communication, leisure, shopping, and household management. In the family relationships domain, men were more satisfied with spousal relationships than women. Center users reported high satisfaction with parent-child relationships. Parents of school-aged children perceived economic burdens, while those with adult children frequently provided psychological and instrumental support. These findings suggest the need for program modification and the development of new initiatives within national family centers to better support the diverse needs of families in terms of life satisfaction and relationship dynamics.

가정교과에서의 저출산.고령사회를 위한 교육과 실천 사례 (Education and Application for low Fertility.Aged Society in Home Economics Education)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 '저출산 고령사회' 대비를 위하여 가정교과의 역할을 탐색하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 2007년 개정 교육과정에서의 저출산 고령사회 대비 가정교과 교육의 내용요소를 찾고, 정부에서 진행 중인 저출산 고령사회 대비 정책에서 가정교과 교육이 수행할 수 있는 역할과 실천방안을 강구한 결과를 바탕으로 서울 중구 건강가정지원센터에서 "부모와 자녀가 함께 듣는 '가정' 수업"을 실시하였다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 저출산 고령사회 대비하기 위하여 가정교과는 선택으로서의 결혼, 가족생활역량의 강화, 건강한 가족문화 형성, 더불어 사는 이웃의 교육내용이 강조되어야 한다. 둘째, 이러한 교육내용은 '결혼 출산 양육에 대한 사회책임 강화', '일과 가정의 양립 가족친화적 사회문화 조성', '건강하고 보호받는 노후 생활 보장' 등의 새로마지플랜2010 사업과 서울특별시교육청의 저출산 고령사회 시행 계획에 포함된 '가족 친화 및 효문화 함양 교육 강화', '저출산 고형사회 관련 학교교육 강화', '양성평등 사회 조성 가치관 교육 강화' 등의 내용과 일치하였다. 셋째, 서울 중구건강가정지원센터에서 "부모와 자녀가 함께 듣는 가정 수업"을 실시한 결과 참가자들의 긍정정적 반응을 얻었고, 사회교육 현장에서도 중추적 역할이 가능하다는 것을 확인할 수 있다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 가정교과는 청소년들의 '저출산 고령사회'에 대한 의식을 함양시키고 이에 대한 가치판단과 자기 주도적 해결 능력을 양성할 수 있으며, 지역사회와 연계하여 저출산 고령사회 대비 교육이 실천가능하다는 사실을 알 수 있다.
