Effect of the quality of gochujang on purchasing and recommendation intentions

  • This study analyzed the effect of the intrinsic and extrinsic attributes of gochujang, Korean red chili paste, on purchasing intention and recommendation intention for consumption. Survey participants were female, married, aged 30 - 39 years, and highly educated with graduation from a university. Most participants purchased gochujang 1 - 2 times per year, most commonly at a shopping mall, and acquired information on the gochujang product from an advertisement or sponsored TV shows. For the factor analysis, five variables for intrinsic quality were considered: namely, healthiness, economics, convenience, diversity, and sense, whereas three variables were considered for extrinsic quality: trust, external appearance, and image. The factor analysis also confirmed the correlation between the validity and the reliability of the purchasing and recommendation intentions. The effect of intrinsic quality of gochujang on purchasing and recommendation intentions was tested through a multiple regression analysis. The purchase intention was most significantly affected by healthiness, cost, and convenience. On the other hand, the recommendation intention was most significantly affected by the diversity and, to a lesser degree, by the healthiness of the product. Among the extrinsic qualities, trust of consumers and the product appearance had a significant effect on purchasing intention. Recommendation intention was significantly affected by the appearance. And trust significantly influenced the recommendation. Therefore, a concrete and systematic marketing approach considering these factors.

  • This study aimed to analyze the functionality and healthiness of family rules through a relational analysis of the relationship between the rule frequency by sub-family system and the content properties shown in the 'family constitution', It also aimed to examine the relationship between the perception degree of healthy family elements and the family subsystem rules and prepare the project development plans. As a result, it was a found that there were many dysfunctional rules, and healthiness was not satisfied. Project development plans include specific project plans, delivery systems, an orientation for practitioners, the necessity of evaluation and feedback, family health diagnosis, association with other project areas, and small scale operations.

초등학교 특별교실 활용 및 환경 평가 (The Physical Environment Evaluation and Utilization of Extra Activity Classrooms in the Elementary School)

  • The Purpose of this paper was to study the uses of the extra activity classroom of elementary school and the satisfaction of the students. The SPSS 10.0 for windows was used to analyze data collected from 397 elementary school students in Kunsan and Seocheon. The results were as follows: (1) More than 2/3 students have experienced special activities. The extra activity classroom was not effectively used showing less than one or two hours use a week for the lecture and extra activities. (2) Generally the students were satisfied at the condition of extra activity classroom, but dissatisfied with the degree of the independence, of deterioration, and of safety while moving. That is because the building and its equipment were old, and soundproofing and safety establishments were not well equipped. (3) There was difference between schools. Students at city had more satisfaction than at county. (4) The most important item of extra activity classroom was esthetics followed by function, safeness. and healthiness. It shows that the important item is being moved to esthetics and healthiness from function of extra activity classroom.

도시숲 조성 및 관리를 위한 도시숲 건전성 평가지표 선정 (Evaluation Indicators for Creation and Management of Urban Forest)

  • The importance of the green space in urban area has been increasing. There are the increasing needs of creation and sustainable management of urban forest. In order to satisfy the need, it is necessary to set indicators for sustainable urban forest. With this regard, this study is to derive the indicators for evaluation of the urban forest through literature reviews, experts opinion, and field survey. The results of the study, the indicators consist of the ecological healthiness, socio-cultural function, and scenic beauty. The ecological healthiness includes stability and naturality (e.g. area, native species, connectivity etc.). The socio-cultural function contain improvement of living environment, stable emotion, community, and environmental education. The scenic beauty includes environmental-friendly facilities, maintenance of urban forest. The indicators have high feasibility to create and manage the urban forest through evaluating urban forest in practical. This indicators are useful to guide to develop urban forest and park.

프랜차이즈 도시락 제품속성이 지각된 가치와 재구매 의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Product Attributes of Franchise Lunch Box on Consumer's Perceived Value and Repurchase Intention)

  • Purpose: This study is designed to grasp how consumers' beliefs about the lunch box attributes such as healthiness, diversity, price, hygiene, and package eco-friendliness affect consumers' perceived value and purchasing behavior. Research design, data, and methodology: The data were collected from 615 respondents composed of men and women aged 20 to 59 who purchased lunch box products and were sampled using the quota sampling method. An online survey was conducted. The data were analyzed using the measurement model and structural equation model assessment with SPSS 24 and SmartPLS 4.0. Results: First, healthiness, diversity, hygiene, and the price had a significant positive effect on the perceived functional value of consumers, but package eco-friendliness did not significantly affect functional value. On the other hand, healthiness, diversity, price, and package eco-friendliness were found to have a positive impact on consumers' perceived emotional value, but hygiene was found to have no significant effect on emotional value. It was found that functional and emotional values significantly positively affected repurchase intention. Conclusions: This study confirmed that consumers' belief in the product attributes of franchise lunch boxes influenced consumers' perceived value, which thus formed the attitude of consumers and showed a relationship that affects repurchase intention. At the end of this paper, the managerial implications for the franchise lunch box brand, the limitations of this study, and future research directions were presented.

미국 소비자의 건강관심도에 따른 패스트푸드 소비가치 차이에 관한 연구 (Consumption Values of Fast Food according to Health Consciousness in American Consumers)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to analyze the consumption values of fast foods among American consumers and compare the consumption values according to the levels of health consciousness. Methods: An online survey using a self-administered questionnaire was conducted on 351 American consumers. Based on the median health consciousness score (3.83 out of 5 points), the subjects were classified into the low health-conscious group (Low group) and the high health-conscious group (High group). Factor analysis was used to extract factors for the five consumption values (functional, social, emotional, conditional, and epistemic values). The differences in the consumption values between the two groups were analyzed. Results: A total of 14 factors were extracted for the five consumption values and 9 factors among them (convenience, healthiness, and taste in functional values; health-conscious people, young, busy, obese people, low class, and budget restricted people in social values; guilt in emotional values; accidental situations in conditional values) showed significant differences between the two groups. The Low group had a higher perception of the factor of healthiness (P < 0.001) than the High group. The High group had a relatively higher perception of the factors of convenience (P < 0.001), taste (P < 0.001), and guilt (P < 0.001). In addition, the High group perceived the social values of fast foods more negatively. The High group consumed fast foods less frequently than the Low group and perceived their health status and healthiness of eating habits more positively. Conclusions: The results reveal that the health consciousness level significantly influences consumption value perceptions about fast foods in American consumers. Policymakers and marketers can develop effective strategies based on the results of this study.

금강유역의 토지이용 변화가 수문·수질 건전성에 미치는 영향 평가 (Evaluation of Land Use Change Impact on Hydrology and Water Quality Health in Geum River Basin)

  • 본 연구는 금강유역을 대상으로 SWAT(Soil and Water Assessment Tool)을 이용하여 유역 수문 및 수질에 대한 유역건전성 (Watershed Healthiness)을 평가하였다. 유역 수문과 수질에 대한 건전성은 다변수 정규분포를 이용하여 0(불량)에서 1(양호)의 범위로 산정하였다. 유역 건전성 평가에 앞서, SWAT 수문 검보정 결과 5개 지점에 대한 11년(2005~2015) 동안의 하천유출량의 Nash-Sutcliffe 모델효율(NSE)은 0.50~0.77이었고, 3개 지점에 대한 suspended solid(SS), total nitrogen(T-N), and total phosphorus(T-P)의 결정계수($R^2$)는 각각 0.67~0.94, 0.59~0.79, 0.61~0.79이었다. 총 24년(1985~2008)에 대한 토지이용변화에 따른 유역 건전성 분석을 위하여 1985년, 1990년, 1995년 2000년, 2008년 5개의 토지이용자료를 준비하였다. 기준년도인 1985년 대비 2008년 SWAT 총유출은 불투수면적의 증가로 40.6% 증가하였고, 토양수분과 기저유출은 각각 6.8%, 3.0 % 감소하였으며, SS, T-N, T-P는 특히 농업활동으로 인해 각각 29.2%, 9.3%, 16.7% 증가하였다. 1985년 토지이용조건 대비 2008년의 유역 수문과 수질의 건전성은 각각 1에서 0.94와 0.69로 감소하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 과거 자연상태 대비 인간활동에 의한 유역 환경변화를 감지할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

중국 연변 지역 대학생의 한식에 대한 인식 및 선호도 연구(I) - 성별 비교를 중심으로 - (Perception and Preference of Korean Food of University Students in Yanbian, China - Focused on Comparisons According to Gender -)

  • This study aimed to investigate the perception and preferences related to Korean food of university students in Yanbian, China. Self-administered questionnaires were collected from 306 (124 males and 182 females) students. The preferences for Chinese food (44.7%) and a combination of Korean (32.0%) and Chosun food (12.4%) were similar, and Korean food was more preferred than traditional Chosun food. The main reason for preferences for Korean food was taste. The perception of Korean hot spices and kimchi smell was not good, whereas positive perceptions where held for foods made with jang, new Korean food experience and healthiness of Korean food. Awareness of Korean food was in the order of bibimbap, kimchi-bokkeum-bap, gimbap, baechi-kimchi and ttoe-bbokki. Preference order was bulgogi, so-galbi, jang-jorim, dak-galbi and dewaeji-galbil. Meat foods and Korean traditional foods were relatively high, whereas kimchi, ttoe-bbokki and bibimbap were relatively low in terms of preference. More female than male students preferred Korean food, and the perception of new food experience and healthiness of Korean food were positive. Moreover, both awareness and preference related to Korean food were significantly higher in female than male students. These results can be used as a foundation to prepare a localization strategy of Korean food to China.

청소년을 위한 건강가정 교육 프로그램 개발 (Development of Healthy Family Education Program for Middle School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and test the effectiveness of a healthy family education program for adolescents. Based on the literature review and an assessment of middle school students' and their parents' needs for the healthy family education, a healthy family education program was developed with four main parts: 'Forming a Happy Family', 'Developing Friendship with (Other Sex) Friends', 'Traveling into the World of Consumption', and 'Healthy Body, Healthy Minds.', In order to test the effectiveness of the program, 35 students from a middle school in Seoul were treated with the education program. The treatment group was compared to a control group before and after the treatment in terms of their attitude toward and knowledge in family healthiness. As a result, the developed program was found to have a positive effect on enhancing the attitude and knowledge of middle school students related to family healthiness.

벤처·중소 ICT 기업의 디지털 생태계에서의 글로벌 경쟁력 요인 연구 (A Study of the Competitive Factors of ICT Venture and SMEs in the Global Digital Ecosystem)

  • Recently, in the bio-field success stories of ventures through a biosimilar technology is being excavated. but the growth of ICT industry has been stagnant since reaching a boom in the dissemination of early high-speed internet in 2000s. The purpose of this study is to explore the factors of change of business model and business strategy of ICT ventures and SMEs with the evolution of the digital ecosystem, and to drive the factors to be competitive on the global value chain. The researcher selected an entreprenuership, market-innovation orientation, technology-innovation orientation, and Administration-innovation orientation as internal factors influencing the global competence and healthiness of the ecosystem as external factors. The researcher applied samples of 94 ICT Venture and SMEs to a research model, and adopted 5 hypotheses. The researcher believes that only a few hypotheses were adopted because it takes time for overall innovation orientation of ICT Venture and SMEs to result in the real global competence as the their innovation orientation is still on the level of domestic market. And the researcher also thinks that only healthiness of the ecosystem affected management performances because the companies' performances of the last 3 years were so weak that the correlation between innovation orientation of each company and the performances were not big enough.
