한국 임금근로자의 우울과 관련된 융복합적 요인: 성별 차이를 중심으로 (Convergent Factors Related to Depression of Wage Workers in Korea: Focusing on Gender Differences)

  • 본 연구는 남녀 임금근로자의 우울 유병률과 우울 관련 융복합적 요인의 규명을 위해 시행되었다. 2014년, 2016년 국민건강영양조사 자료를 이용하여 19세 이상 65세 미만 성인 3,763명(남성 1,888명, 여성 1,875)을 대상으로 분석하였다. 우울은 Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9)으로 측정하였으며 전체 근로자의 우울(PHQ-9≥10)은 4.1%(남성 3.2%, 여성 5.0%)로 나타났다. 남녀 근로자의 우울 영향 요인을 평가하기 위해 다중 로지스틱 회귀분석을 수행하였다. 남성 근로자에서 일 관련 특성인 고용 유형, 주당 근로시간은 인구사회학적 특성, 건강 관련 특성, 생활습관 특성을 보정한 후에도 우울과 유의한 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 여성 근로자에서 일 관련 특성은 유의한 관련을 보이지 않아 남성과 차이를 보였다. 그러므로 우울 위험 요인의 성별 특성을 고려한 직장 내 상담 또는 정신건강 증진 프로그램을 개발, 수행할 필요가 있다. 또한 남녀 모두 건강 관련 특성(우울증 진단 여부, 자살 계획 여부, 스트레스 인지 수준, 미충족 의료서비스 여부, 주관적 건강상태)이 우울과 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났으므로 이들 요인에 대한 지속적인 관리가 요구된다.

  • Purpose: The research was to identify menstrual regularity & mental health-related factors on unmarried women of childbearing age and provide a raw material in terms of setting up health policy. Methods: The KNHANE V-3 (The Fifth Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey) was used and implemented through spss 18.0. Results: In general characteristics, there wasn't any remarkable difference between 20s and 30s. Looking further Mental health-related factors, stress was higher in 30s (p=.010). In 30s of irregularity mensutration women, it was accounted for 12.5% over than 3months experienced. General characteristics varied by menstrual regularity were age (p=.044), education level (p=.035) and in terms of mental health-related factors, they were stress (p=.044), sleeping time (p=.039). Multiple regression analysis was carried out to identify how influential these factors are on menstrual regularity. As a result, age, education level, sleeping time & stress was the most influence factors. Conclusion: The research had some limitations to specify and approach the feature of target in depth through KNHANE V-3. Thus, if the basic analysis regarding the menstrual problem in relation to local society was conducted on the basis of the result of research, it could help developing the promotion of health program and make the application easier.

도시지역 재택 고령자의 삶의 질(Quality of Life) 및 관련요인 (Quality of Life and Its Related Factors Among Metropolitan-dwelling Older Adults)

  • 본 연구는 도시 지역 재택 고령자들의 삶의 질과 인구사회학적 특성, 건강관련행위특성 및 건강상태를 나타내는 변수들과의 관련성을 검토할 목적으로 시도하였다. 조사대상은 D광역시에 거주하고 있는 65세 이상 고령자 380명으로 하였으며, 2019년 6월에 조사대상자들을 직접 방문하여 면접조사 하였다. 자료의 분석은 삶의 질을 종속변수로, 인구사회학적 특성, 건강관련행위특성 및 건강상태를 독립변수로 하여 2분형로지스틱회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 조사대상자의 삶의 질에 관련된 요인으로는 학력, 배우자 유무, 동거가족유무, 생활비 부담여부, 한 달 평균용돈, 일상생활만족도, 주관적인 수면의 질, 흡연상태, 규칙적 식사여부, 규칙적 운동여부, 취미활동여부, 주관적 건강상태, 신체의 부자유 유무, 청력상태, 시력상태, 치아 상태, 요실금유무 및 건망증유무가 유의한 변수로 선정되었다. 위와 같은 결과는 도시지역에 거주하고 있는 재택 고령자의 삶의 질은 인구사회학적 특성, 건강관련행위특성 및 건강상태를 나타내는 여러 요인들과 유의한 관련성이 있음을 시사하고 있다. 따라서 고령자의 삶의 질은 개인의 인구사회학적 속성뿐만 아니라 일상생활에서의 건강관련행위나 건강상태에 관련된 여러 요인들이 관련되어 있음을 고령자들에게 인지시키고, 삶의 질을 높일 수 있는 프로그램을 구축하여 홍보할 필요가 있다고 생각된다.

Associations Between Work Characteristics, Engaged Well-Being at Work, and Job Attitudes - Findings from a Longitudinal German Study

  • Objective: The Job Demand & Resources model suggests work characteristics are related to mental well-being and work engagement. Previous work describes the development of a combined construct 'engaged well-being at work' (EWB). To what extent changes in measures of this construct are responsive to changes in job demands and resources or associated with changes in job-related attitudes has not been established. Methods: Longitudinal employee-level data from three waves (German Linked Personnel Panel) were used. Logistic and linear fixed effects regression analyses explored longitudinal associations between changes in EWB for participants over a three-year period with changes in job demands and resources and job-related attitudes (job commitment, satisfaction, and turnover intentions). Results: While job resources were associated with increased odds for a change into a healthier and/or more engaged category of EWB, job demands reduced them. Job resources were more strongly related to higher EWB (ORrange = 1.22 - 1.61) than job demands (ORrange = 0.79 - 0.96). Especially psychological job demands showed negative associations with improved EWB (OR = 0.79). A change from the least desirable category 'disengaged strain' to any other category of EWB was associated with greater odds by up to 20.6 % for increased commitment and job satisfaction and lower odds for turnover intentions. Discussion: Improving work characteristics, especially job resources, could increase employees' EWB, emphasizing the importance of job characteristics for a healthy workplace. Because EWB seems to be associated with job attitudes, an improvement of this indicator would be relevant for employees and employers.

중년기 성인의 자기 효능감 및 건강관련 강인성이 건강증진 생활양식에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Self Efficacy, Health Related Hardiness on a Health Promoting Lifestyle of Middle-aged People)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of self efficacy, and health related hardiness on a health promoting lifestyle of middle-aged people Method: The study was designed as a descriptive survey study. Data was collected using a structured questionnaire which included general characteristics, measure of self efficacy, health related hardiness, and health promoting lifestyle. Data collection was done between May and August, 2007 with 197 middle-aged participants. Result: The average score of the participants for self efficacy was 34.78, for health related hardiness 57.01 and for a health promoting lifestyle 127.53. There were positive correlations between self efficacy and a health promoting lifestyle, health related hardiness and a health promoting lifestyle, and self efficacy and health related hardiness. The correlations were statistically significant. Health related hardiness was a significant predictors of a health promoting lifestyle. Conclusion: A strategy for improving self efficacy and health related hardiness should be developed and a nursing intervention program should also be provided based on the developed strategy of middle-aged people.

지역사회건강조사를 이용한 의료급여수급권자와 건강보험가입자의 건강관련 삶의 질 비교 연구 (Difference in Health-related Quality of Life between Medical Aid Beneficiaries and Health Insurance Beneficiaries using the Community Health Survey)

  • 본 연구에 의료급여수급권자와 건강보험가입자의 인구사회학적 특성, 건강행태, 질병이환, 의료이용, 건강 관련 삶의 질 등에 대한 포괄적인 평가를 해 보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 2013년도 지역사회건강조사 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과 사회경제적 특성, 건강행태, 질병이환, 의료이용 등 다양한 요인들이 건강관련 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 의료급여수급권자가 건강보험가입자보다 사회경제적 특성, 건강행태, 의료이용이 좋지 않아 건강관련 삶의 질이 낮은 것을 확인을 할 수 있었고 사회경제적 특성을 통제하고도 비교 해본 결과에서도 건강행태, 질병이환, 의료이용이 좋지 않아 건강관련 삶의 질이 떨어지는 결과를 보였다. 따라서 의료급여수급권자들의 건강관련 삶의 질을 효과적으로 향상시키기 위해서는 만성질환 관리, 스트레스와 우울감 관리 등의 정신 건강과 일상 활동 능력의 향상이 무엇보다도 중요하며 적당한 음주습관과 규칙적인 운동, 식습관 등 건강 증진 행위를 촉진하는 데 중점을 둔 체계적인 프로그램 개발과 정책을 위해 국가적 관심이 요구 된다.

직업관련 특성이 여성의 음주소비에 미친 영향 (Effects of Job-related Characteristics on Alcohol Consumption among Female Workers in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of job-related characteristics on alcohol consumption among female workers. The Data was collected from a sample of 1,000 female workers by a stratified proportional quota sampling method derived from those who were working in Seoul. Drinking behavior pattern includes total amount of pure alcohol consumed during the last month (AC) measured by graduated quantity-frequency. Job-related characteristics (JRC) were measured by job-related stress, work characteristics, and organizational structure including length of working hours, number of times dining out together with workers per year, number of staff to supervise, employment status, occupational category, and proportion of female workers to male counterpart. Confounding variables include sociodemogrphic and socio-cultural attitudes toward alcohol expectancy, subjective norm of drinking, and gender-role attitude. Hierarchical multiple regression models show that the variability of AC was accounted for by some JRC including number of times dining together and employment status, with confounding variables held constant. However, the relationship between AC and JRC varied across occupational categories. Some implications were discussed in terms of health policy for female workers and further study for female drinking behavior.

제조업의 산업안전보건 관련 의사소통이 안전보건경영 수준에 미치는 영향 - 관리감독자 인원의 매개효과를 중심으로 - (Effect of Occupational Safety and Health-related Communication in Manufacturing Industry on Safety and Health Management Level - The Number of Supervisors as Mediating Factor -)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to identify the general characteristics of manufacturing workplaces and the characteristics of safety and health organizations, and to determine the impact of safety and health-related communication within these organizations mediated by supervisory safety and health management personnel. Methods: This study is based on the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency's 2018 Occupational Safety and Health data targeting 1,486 manufacturing sites. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test and ANOVA, and mediator variable regression analysis using SPSS 25.0. Results: The average score on communication levels related to safety and health was 11.20 out of 15. The average score of the safety and health management level was 31.04 out of 40. As a result of mediation regression analysis, it was found that safety and health-related communication had an effect on the safety and health management level (𝛽=0.434), and the number of safety and health supervisors was found to mediate the effect of this variable (𝛽=0.069). Conclusions: The level of safety and health-related communication affects the level of health and safety management, and the number of supervisors mediates this influence. Therefore, the role of the supervisor is important in safety and health communication. It is expected that the level of safety and health management can be improved through management and supervisors.

외래 통원 관상동맥질환 노인환자의 건강정보이해능력, 건강임파워먼트가 건강행위이행에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Health Literacy and Health Empowerment on Health Behavior Practice in Elderly Outpatients with Coronary Artery Disease)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this descriptive study was to identify the influence of health literacy and health empowerment on health behavior practice in elderly patients with coronary artery disease. Methods: 239 elderly outpatients older than 65 years of age were included. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics including independent t-test, ANOVA, and hierarchical regression. Results: Major factors having a significant impact on health behavior practice were health literacy (${\beta}=.26$, p<.001) and health empowerment (${\beta}=.32$, p<.001). Health literacy was increased by 4.7% after controlling for general and health-related characteristics. Health empowerment increased by 5.9% after controlling for general and health-related characteristics, and health literacy. The two variables explained 35% of the variance in health behavior practice (F=7.74, p<.001). Conclusion: The main findings of this study can be utilized as the foundation for developing programs to promote health empowerment and health behavior practice of the elderly population. Furthermore, the results of the study can also be used to establish health-related strategies.

대전지역 일부 고등학생들의 스트레스 수준 및 관련 요인 (Psychosocial Distress and its Related Factors among High School Students in Daejeon City)

  • Purpose: This study was performed to determine the levels of psychosocial distress among high school students to reveal the various related factors. Methods: Self-administered questionnaires were administered between June 1st and July 31th, 2006, to 992 different high school students in Daejeon City. The survey items included questions concerning the subjects' family and school life characteristics, health-related behaviors, sense of self-esteem, and locus of control. Results: The results showed that 27.8% of the subjects were categorized as high risk stress, 66.6% as latent stress, and 5.5% as normal. The level of psychosocial distress was found to be influenced by various related factors such as family and school life characteristics, health-related behaviors and personality traits (locus of control, self-esteem). Conclusion: The above results of the study suggest that the more stresses the high school students felt, the higher the correlation with self esteem and self control. Therefore, it is required that there be more development of programs designed towards harmonizing human relationships, promoting regular life styles and positive self perceptions; as well as building self confidence and assisting in course selection. Also, there is a need for further research and education in accessing effective strategies for coping with stress.
