지수형과 로그형 위험함수 학습효과에 근거한 NHPP 소프트웨어 신뢰성장모형에 관한 비교연구 (The Comparative Study of NHPP Software Reliability Model Exponential and Log Shaped Type Hazard Function from the Perspective of Learning Effects)

  • In this study, software products developed in the course of testing, software managers in the process of testing software test and test tools for effective learning effects perspective has been studied using the NHPP software. The finite failure nonhomogeneous Poisson process models presented and the life distribution applied exponential and log shaped type hazard function. Software error detection techniques known in advance, but influencing factors for considering the errors found automatically and learning factors, by prior experience, to find precisely the error factor setting up the testing manager are presented comparing the problem. As a result, the learning factor is greater than autonomous errors-detected factor that is generally efficient model could be confirmed. This paper, a failure data analysis of applying using time between failures and parameter estimation using maximum likelihood estimation method, after the efficiency of the data through trend analysis model selection were efficient using the mean square error and coefficient of determination.

  • Railway signaling systems are so vital to ensure the safe operation of railroad and the assurance and demonstration of the safety is so important. The safety management process shall consist of a number of phases and activities, which are linked to form the safety life-cycle. The basic processes of safety management and safety activity throughout the lifecycle are 'risk analysis' and 'hazard control'. The safety managements and activities for the two kinds of aspects are implemented throughout the whole steps of system lifecycle. The risk analyses and hazard controls like those are needed, these activities have to be carried out through the whole of system lifecycle.

  • To improve safety management of railway and cope with the factors to threat technical and social safety, we need to establish railway safety management system based on analysis of hazards and assessment of risk for railway system. So we have to conduct PHA(Preliminary Hazard Analysis) first to understand weak points and factors to possibly threat safety using analysis of related data such as past accident/incident data and safety regulation and classification standards of hazards/causes of railway accidents. Therefore in this research, we led types/dangerous events/causes of risks/factors of risks from hazard log developed based on railway accident classification and hazards of railway accident. PHA model for domestic railway system will be used in risk analysis and risk assessment of railway accident.

스트레스함수가 감마분포인 가속수명시험 (Accelerated Life Tests under Gamma Stress Distribution)

  • This paper presents accelerated life tests for Type I censoring data under probabilistic stresses. Probabilistic stress, S, is the random variable for stress influenced by test environments, test equipments, sampling devices and use conditions. The hazard rate, $\theta$ is a random variable of environments and a function of probabilistic stress. In detail, it is assumed that the hazard rate is linear function of the stress, the general stress distribution is a gamma distribution and the life distribution for the given hazard rate, $\theta$is an exponential distribution. Maximum likelihood estimators of model parameters are obtained, and the mean life in use stress condition is estimated. A hypothetical example is given to show its applicability.

  • Over the past few decades, the impact of natural, manmade and natech (natural hazard triggering technological disasters) disasters has been devastating, affecting over 4.4 billion people. In spite of recent technological advances, the increasing frequency and intensity of natural disasters and the escalation of manmade threats is presenting a number of challenges that warrant immediate attention. This paper explores the integration of drones or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV's) into infrastructure monitoring and post-disaster assessment. Through reviewing some of the recent disasters, effectiveness of utilizing UAV's in different stages of disaster life cycle is demonstrated and needed steps for successful integration of UAV's in infrastructure monitoring, hazard mitigation and post-incident assessment applications are discussed. In addition, some of the challenges associated with implementing UAV's in disaster monitoring, together with research needs to overcome associated knowledge gaps, is presented.

Analyzing Construction Workers' Recognition of Hazards by Estimating Visual Focus of Attention

  • High injury and fatality rates remain a serious problem in the construction industry. Many construction injuries and fatalities can be prevented if workers can recognize potential hazards and take actions in time. Many efforts have been devoted in improving workers' ability of hazard recognition through various safety training and education methods. However, a reliable approach for evaluating this ability is missing. Previous studies in the field of human behavior and phycology indicate that the visual focus of attention (VFOA) is a good indicator of worker's actual focus. Towards this direction, this study introduces an automated approach for estimating the VFOA of equipment operators using a head orientation-based VFOA estimation method. The proposed method is validated in a virtual reality scenario using an immersive head mounted display. Results show that the proposed method can effectively estimate the VFOA of test subjects in different test scenarios. The findings in this study broaden the knowledge of detecting the visual focus and distraction of construction workers, and envision the future work in improving work's ability of hazard recognition.

  • CNS/ATM 분야에서 안전 평가는 시스템을 개발하는데 반드시 필요한 개발 활동이다. 현재까지, 안전 평가와 관련된 많은 참고할 만한 자료들이 있으나 CNS/ATM분야에서 무엇을 어떻게 적용해야 할지 명확하게 명시된 자료는 없다. 또 다른 문제는 DO-278A기반으로 소프트웨어를 개발하기 위해서는 개발하고자 하는 소프트웨어에 대한 소프트웨어 보증 수준이 결정되어 있어야 한다. 하지만 개발 보증 수준을 결정하는 체계도 또한 정의되어 있지 않다. 이와 같은 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 ICAO Doc 9689에 정의된 안전 목표 수준을 기반으로 한 위험 평가를 수행하기 위한 방법을 제시한다. 항행 안전 시스템에서 일반적으로 적용 가능하도록 하기 위해 위험 평가 수행 절차를 수학적으로 표현하였으며 위험 평가를 위해 필요한 위험원의 심각도 분류, 발생 확률, 시스템 안전 목표 수준 등을 정의하고 위험 평가를 수행하기 위해 이벤트 트리 분석 절차를 적용하는 방법을 설명하였다.

Development of flood hazard and risk maps in Bosnia and Herzegovina, key study of the Zujevina River

  • Floods represent extreme hydrological phenomena that affect populations, environment, social, political, and ecological systems. After the catastrophic floods that have hit Europe and the World in recent decades, the flood problem has become more current. At the EU level, a legal framework has been put in place with the entry into force of Directive 2007/60/EC on Flood Risk Assessment and Management (Flood Directive). Two years after the entry into force of the Floods Directive, Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H), has adopted a Regulation on the types and content of water protection plans, which takes key steps and activities under the Floods Directive. The "Methodology for developing flood hazard and risk maps" (Methodology) was developed for the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, following the methodology used in the majority of EU member states, but with certain modifications to the country's characteristics. Accordingly, activities for the preparation of the Preliminary Flood Risk Assessment for each river basin district were completed in 2015 for the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Activities on the production of hazard maps and flood risk maps are in progress. The results of probable climate change impact model forecasts should be included in the preparation of the Flood Risk Management Plans, which is the subsequent phase of implementing the Flood Directive. By the foregoing, the paper will give an example of the development of the hydrodynamic model of the Zujevina River, as well as the development of hazard and risk maps. Hazard and risk maps have been prepared for medium probability floods of 1/100 as well as for high probability floods of 1/20. The results of LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) recording were used to create a digital terrain model (DMR). It was noticed that there are big differences between the flood maps obtained by recording LiDAR techniques in relation to the previous flood maps obtained using georeferenced topographic maps. Particular attention is given to explaining the Methodology applied in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

비행안전 위해(Hazard)요인이 조종사의 안전행동에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Job Stress and Hazard Factors on Pilot Safety Behavior)

  • 항공산업의 발전에도 불구하고 조종사의 인적오류에 의한 항공기 사고는 지속해서 발생하고 있다. 인적오류에 의한 항공기 사고의 원인은 비행안전을 저해하는 위해(hazard) 요인을 사전에 제거하지 못해 사고로 이어지는 것이다. 본 연구는 국내 항공사에 근무하는 운항승무원과 일반항공 (general aviation)의 조종사를 대상으로, 비행안전을 위협하는 여러 가지 위해 요인 중에서 조종사에게 심리적, 신체적으로 영향을 미치는 직무스트레스와 피로, 불안감이 안전행동에는 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았다. 아울러 직무스트레스와 안전행동의 간에 안전문화의 매개효과를 확인하기 위한 실증분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과에 의하면 직무스트레스는 조종사의 안전행동에 직접적인 영향을 줄 뿐만이 아니라 안전분위기, 보고문화와 같은 항공사의 안전문화에도 영향을 미친다는 것이다. 이러한 조종사의 직무스트레스와 안전문화, 안전행동간의 상관관계를 통해 안전관리시스템의 성과를 제고하고자 한다.
