The Analysis on the Electric Potential Distribution of Dry and Submerged Condition by Electric Leakage in Street Lamp (가로등설비 누전시 건조상태와 침수상태에 대한 전위분포 분석)

  • This paper presents study on the electric potential distribution when have a short in street lamp. In order to measure electric potential testing ground is built in. A experiment is conducted to simulate dry and submerged situation of street lamp. The street lamp is leaked by artificial means. And electric potential is measured in grounded street lamp and street lamp alone. The results show that touch voltage of grounded street lamp is possible more high than street lamp alone. And the electric shock hazard is high because high electric potential is distributed near submerged street lamp. Also if street lamp is submerged ground is not useful to decrease electric shock hazard.

  • In order to prevent a collision accident during sudden braking, we have proposed an hazard lamps automatic operation system that can be easily installed in existing vehicles that do not have hazard lamps automatic operation. There are several ways to recognize sudden braking. Using GPS, the system does not work in a tunnel, and it is difficult to install the system additionally on an existing vehicle using a vehicle speed sensor. Therefore, the proposed system eliminates these problems by using the acceleration sensor and makes it possible to recognize even the sudden turning and bounce of the vehicle.

  • In this paper, we reported an outbreak of fire hazard of ballast for fluorescent lamp. The surface structure and composition of ballast coil analyzed by using metallurgical microscope, scanning electron microscope(SEM) and energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy(EDX). The surface of molten mark appeared columnar structure and void. EDX analysis indicated that the molten mark spectra were composed not only of the corresponding original spectra but also of several new lines.

  • In this paper, guard lamps at three areas have been investigated to understand the actual conditions of the electric shock hazard of the guard lamps. Upon the basis of the obtained data, the actual conditions of the guard lamps were precisely analyzed in terms of the electric shock hazard. As a result of the investigation, it was turned out that many guard lamps were not installed in organized ways due to the lack of legal regulations, resulting in the increase of electric shock hazard. Therefore, it is necessary, from a point of electric shock protection view, to establish the regulations of equipment installation and management, which can be specifically applied to guard lamps.

  • In this study, photochemical effects (OH radical formation) in the photoreactor was investigated to analyze UV-C intensity distribution. In addition, The influence radius of the UV-C lamp was measured at various dose of $TiO_2$ (Degussa P-25). The photoreactor used in this study was bath type reactor which is made by acrylic and the UV-C lamp (SANKYO DENKI, wavelength : 254 nm, Diameter : 2.2 cm, Length : 18.5 cm) was used as photo source. The maximum electric power consumption of the UV lamp was 10.5 W. The OH radical formation by UV-C was measured by KI dosimetry methods. From the results, the effective OH radical formation was occurred under the following condition. The reasonable distance of UV-C lamp is within 13 cm and the intensity of UV-C lamp should be more than 0.367 mW/$cm^2$. Moreover, the concentration of catalyst affects on the influence radius of the UV lamp.

  • The aim of this research was microbiological hazard analysis which is required to application of HACCP(Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) system to chili powder. A processing had been conducted in Yong-Geum Agricultural Production located in Dongnyang-myeon, Chungju-si between January 10, 2014 to June 13, 2014. A manufacturing process chart was prepared by entire level of processing. A changes of microorganism was tested by changing sterilization time in ultraviolet ray sterilization processing which can control microbiological Hazard. As a result, critical Limits is decided as ultraviolet rays lamp $20W{\times}12EA$, sterilization $63{\pm}3$ min of each. The result of the microorganism test after ultraviolet ray sterilization was safe. On the other hand, a microorganism test of manufacturing environment and workers suggested that the microbiological hazard should be reduced through systematic cleaning and disinfection accompanied by personal hygiene based on hygiene education on workers.

  • Recently electric shock accidents constantly occurs caused by the street lamps. Especially the chance of electric shock accident is high when the street lamp submerges by heavy rainfall. Electric shock accident occurs mostly on the low voltage facilities of 220V, but the awareness of its danger is insufficient. The electric shock accident by street lamp voltage of 220V is very dangerous because it is installed in the street which is easily in contact with people. But there are insufficient investigation concerning the affect to hwnan body of underwater electric potential distribution as the distance changes from the leakage object in case of short circuit. In this thesis, the analysis will be made on the affect of underwater Earth leakage to human body and electric potential distribution in underwater, and to draw a comparison between electric shock channel and electric shock mechanism by experimenting on the affect to human body of underwater electric shock as the distance changes from the leakage object.

A Study on the Judgment of Fire Cause of Ballast for Fluorescent Lamp (형광등용 안정기의 화재원인 판정에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we analyzed the fire hazard of the ballast for fluorescent lamp used as the indoor lighting. In the result of being analyzed the ballast wire by stereo microscope, many melting points were discovered, it was impossible to judge a cause with the naked eye. In the Thermal-deteriorated ballast wire, elongation structure disappeared at above $700^{\circ}$, and it only showed the enlarged appearance of the copper particle. On the metallurgical microscope of short wire, as it was confirmed the regulation of the columnar structure and the void growth at the center of boundary-face, we found that electrical short-circuit generated. Also, it was confirmed the melted part on the analysis using SEM(scanning electron microscope). Not only CuL and Cuk line that is composition factor of copper but also OK line was observed uniformly on the spectra analysis using EDX(energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy). It means that oxygen took part in reaction at the recombination process.

  • In this study, Standards of Lighting Appliance and Standard of Model Approval and Inspection Technology for EXIT LIGHT are compared so as to analyze stability of a exit light which is fire product. Test items, which are not included in Standard of Model approval and Inspection Technology for EXIT LIGHT, are deduced from aforementioned comparison and analysis. Also the derived test items are experimented with a exit light. For a power factor correction, a power factor correction circuit is designed and power factor, crest factor, asymmetry ratio, luminance variation are analyzed. In order to show the validity of designed circuit, current waveform and voltage waveform are measured.
