생력형 5단 유자망 양망기의 효율성에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Efficiency of the Labor-saving-type, Five-step-drum Net Hauler)

  • As part of a series of studies about improving yellow croaker drift gill net fishing gear and the development of a labor-saving fishing system, we installed a labor-saving-type, five-step-drum net hauler, and a triple-V-type net hauler in 108 Daeheung-ho, a fishing boat which operates drift gill nets for yellow croakers mainly in the sea near Chu-ja Island. Net damage with the labor-saving-type, five-step-drum net hauler is lower than for the triple-V-type net hauler. In addition, there was a reduction in the standard operational crew of two people. The lead time for hauling the labor-saving net was approximately 10% and 19.2% less than for hauling the triple-V-type net hauler and for hauling by hand, respectively. It was found that there were fewer slip in fishing gear and less damage to the wing of the drum as well as less damage to the fish when the labor-saving-type, five-step-drum net hauler was used than when the triple-V-type net hauler was used. In the survey, the lead time for hauling the net was approximately 21.6% and 45.2% more effective than hauling with the triple-V-type net hauler and hauling by hand, respectively. The crew was reduced by approximately 18.2% and 25% than when hauling with the triple-V-type net hauler and hauling by hand, respectively. In addition, cessation of operation and damage to the fish were reduced when compared to the triple-V-type net hauler and hauling by hand.

Geometry of the Model Purse Seine in Relation to Enclosed Volume during Hauling Operation

  • Model experiments for a purse seine were carried out in order to measure the geometry of net shape and to estimate an enclosed volume by using 1177 scale model purse seine of 12.62m float line from an offshore mackerel purse seine. A model purse seine was set from a net box of shooting equipments and then pursing and hauling net by hauling equipment. The 3- D geometry shape of the purse seine net during hauling operation was measured by video image processing and tension of purse line by load cell. The 3-D geometry of the model purse seine during hauling operation could be represented with variables such as a ratio of shooting diameter or maximum net depth and a ratio of hauling operation time. Horizontal shapes of float line and lead line were varied from a circle after shooting to an ellipse with pursing and hauling. Projected lateral shape of purse line was observed and formulated as a shape of a water drop. The cross sectional shapes of curved net from two directions were varied such as sine function or polynomial curves. Therefore, enclosed volume of a purse seine in relation to fish school behaviour can be approximated using two main variables from relevant equations.

기선권현망어업의 3척식 자동화 양망시스템 개발 (Development of the Automatic Hauling Operation System by Three boats for Anchovy Boat Seine)

  • This study was conducted in order to improve the automatic fishing operation system for anchovy boat seine by comparison with the fishing gear geometry and efficiency using the labor saving nets and the combined type net with midwater trawl. Field experiments were carried out to observe the geometry of nets and improve the fishing operation system by catcher boats. The vertical net opening of fore wing net, square, fore bag net and after bag net of the combined type net were varied in the range of 9.9~12.9. 16.2~28.2, 6.8~12.1 and 9.5~15.2m respectively, when the towing speed was 1.0m/sec and the distance between boats were 100m, 200m, 300m. The vertical net opening of the combined type nets was gradually decreased as function of with increasing the distance between catcher boats. Labor saving net which was maintained the net opening and towing depth stable was more suitable for the automatic hauling operation system by improvement of bag net rather than the combined type nets which was impossible in swallow depth and near to anchovy school. 3 boats hauling operation system of the labor saving net was carried out by crane with power block in 2 catcher boats for improvement of hauling operation and pushing equipment of anchovy cooking system in the processing boat for maintain more anchovy in dry frame. From the results of field experiments, 3 boats hauling operation system with power block and improved cooking system was very 3 boats hauling operation system with power block and improved cooking system was very useful and more practical as hauling time 20~35min and No. of fishermen 12~13 in comparison with the traditional system such as hauling time 30~50 min and No. of fishmen 28~38.

  • As the basic study about improvement of yellow croaker drift gill net fishing implement and development of the fishing system, this study drew problem after synthetically analyzing hauling system of yellow croaker drift gill net used in the coast of Chuja Island and tested several characters and analyzed in hauling process with 5 step net hauler model for improving the problem. The analysis results are as follows. When the angle between axises of drum centers was small, it showed the tendency that hauling time was fast. Hauling time was faster when drum was 5 step rather than 3 step. When drum was 5 step, slippery phenomenon was small and hauling was stable. Tension was larger when drum was 5 step rather than 3 step. When drum was 5 step, the range of change of the maximum and minimum value was small and hauling was stable. When drum was 3 step, there was following formula between hauling time ($Ht_3$) and angle between axises of drum centers ($A_g$) $Ht_3$ : ($7.15Hs^{-0.81}$) $A_g^{-0.81}$, when drum was 5 step there was following formula.$Ht_5$ : ($6.45Hs^{-0.75}$) $A_g0.10$, here, Hs is hauling speed. When drum was 3 step and hauling speed was 28cm/sec, tension was $T=0.08A_8^3-1.60A_g^3-0.49A_g+369.56(r=0.99)$, when drum was 5 step, tension was, $T=-0.01A_g^3+1.96A_g^2-34.05A_g+414.58$ (r-0.99), here, T was tension(g).

  • 권현망에서는 어획물을 손상시키지 않도록 양망해야 하는데, 재래식에서는 순전히 인력으로서 양망하므로 30-34명이나 되는 인원이 필요하다. 이것을 성력화하기 위하여, 자루그물의 옆판쪽에 속으로 반달코가 있는 힘줄을 6가닥씩 넣고, 배에는 선미에 데릭부움을 설치하여, 거기에 장치된 블록줄끝의 훅을 반달코에 걸어서 사이드 드럼으로 감아 재래식처럼 자루그물을 까뒤집으면서 양망한 바, (1) 어획물이 손상되지 않고, (2) 사이드 드럼의 권양장력은 30명의 선원의 그것보다 크며, (3) 본래식의 반이하인 14명의 선원으로서 조업이 가능하고, (4) 자루그물의 양망 소요시간은 어획량이 많을수록 재래식보다 적게 소요된다는 사실이 규명되었다.

동해구 현측식 트롤 어선의 복원성 (The stability of the side trawler operating in East Sea of Korea)

  • Trawlers are divided into stern and side types by the method of shooting and hauling net, but the latter is difficult to find beside Korea. In East Sea of Korea, the side type used to be in early 2000's, but it improved to stern type because of its inefficient operating method. The aims of this paper is to make clear the stability of the side trawler in the East Sea, and then confirm whether it satisfy the IMO rule or not, the degree of the transverse inclining angle of the ship when hauling net at hull side. In results, the stability of the ship in initial inclining range satisfied the IMO rule and the domestic rule, but not satisfied those rule in over the range. The limit load of the ship that was coincide with the angle of beam end in hauling net at side was about 26 tons, 18 tons in normal sea condition and storm warning condition respectively. The transverse inclining angles of the ship in hauling net were much higher from 3.3 to 5.5 times than the longitudinal inclining angle of the stern trawler, although those angles were slightly changed with depending on the loading and sea condition.

기선권현망어구의 조업과정중 수중형상 (Underwater Geometry of the Anchovy Boat Seine in Process of the Fishing Operation)

  • This study was carried out to observe the underwater geometry of the anchovy boat seine by two fishing operation systems. One was a traditional operation system that used a fish detecting boat, another was a new operation system that used the same fishing gear with floats and sinkers in comparison with a fish detecting boat. Vertical opening of the fishing gear that used a casting net, working depth of each part of the fishing gear that used a new operation system was almost canstant, but was gradually shallow in a traditional operation system. Just before hauling net, working depth of each part of the fishing gear that used a new operation system was maintained stable, but was vertically unstable in a traditional operation system because as rear part of the fishing gear was risen up the upper layer. Just after hauling net, working depth of the fishing gear that used a new operation system was also maintained stable, and then anchovy school could be lead to bag net.

연안개량안강망어선의 조업 시스템 개선이 선원들의 작업 안전과 작업부하에 미치는 영향 (Effects of improvement of fishing operating system on a coastal improved stow net fishing vessel on the work safety and workload of seafarers)

  • This paper is the result of a comparative analysis of crew members' workloads using the EMG and OWAS methods according to the fishing process before and after the improvement of the operating system of the experimental vessel, with the aim of improving operational efficiency and safety work of coastal improved stow net fishing vessels. The target crew members were three people with at least five years of experience on board the same fishing vessel as the experimental vessel. After improving the operating system, such as installing a power block crane and two capstans, change the location of the ball-roller, the time required for setting and hauling work decreased (p < .01), and the evaluation results by OWAS showed that the overall workload for setting and hauling net work decreased. The results of muscle activity analysis showed a decrease in lashing anchor work (p < .01) in the case of hauling net and in anchor dropping work in the case of setting net (p < .001). It is judged that the use of ball rollers in net handling has been reduced; consequently, work safety has been improved.

선미식 안강망 어구의 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of the Stern Stow Net)

  • Because stow net being used in now is doing throwing net and hauling net through a ship's side, the work is very complicated and the fishing boat needs many seamen and it could cause a loss of lives and ship in stormy weather. We are now using small mesh size 36~500mm and it even catches young fish, so we call it the fishing gear of resource reduction type.Therefore we must make manpower reduction in automatic operation, safe operation of throwing net and hauling net in the stern and the stern-typed stow net of resource management using large mesh. And we performed three-typed model tests to examine the fishing gear. The obtained results are as follows;1. The fishing gear being used in the ship's side type stow net has inappropriate standard and arrangement of the net, resistance increase of the fishing gear and frequent breakdown of the net.2. To supplement the fault of A-typed stow net, we schemed fishing gear developed as both B-type(12-seamed net) and C-types(8-seamed net) of the stern-typed stow net. 3. In model tests, C-typed model net(mesh size 40~1,600mm) was proved good fishing gear because the resistance in accordance with the flowing speed was comparatively small and it's mouth area was broad. 4. A-typed stow net had the spreading device attached to side panel of the net, but the stern-typed stow net had the spreading device consisted of 4 lines far behind about 6m from side panel of the net mouth. In the flowing speed 2knot, the spreading condition of fishing gear was proved batter than the former.

정치망내에 방류한 부시리, Seriola aureovittata 의 행동 (Behavior of amber fish, Seriola aureovittata released in the setnet)

  • 본 논문은 개량식 정치망내에 방류한 체장 30 cm의 부시리, Seriola aureovittata의 유영행동 및 탈출행동을 텔레메트리기법으로 추적하고, 그 결과를 기술한 것이다. 압력센서를 내장한 초음파 핑거를 부착시켜 방류한 시험어의 행동은 장기선 방식의 어군행동 원격감시 시스템을 사용하여 추적하였다. 수신점의 수는 3개였고, 초음파 핑거의 3차원 위치는 쌍곡선위치결정법으로 구한 평면좌표 x, y와 압력센서로 관측한 심도 z를 사용하여 구하였다. 실험에서 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 시험어는, 방류직후,15 m 깊이까지 급잠하였다가 수면가까이 부상하는 행동을 보였고, 방류직후부터 5분간 측정한 평균 유영속도는 0.87 m/sec를 나타내었다. 2. 시간이 경과함에 따라 시험어의 유영속도는 점차 느려지는 경향을 나타내었고, 방류후 1시간정도 경과한 때부터는 주로 헛통쪽 비탈그물 부근에서 섬도 1~7 m 에 머물면서 탈출을 시도하는 행동을 보였다. 이 시간대의 평균 유영속도는 0.52 m/sec로 나타났다. 3. 양망을 시작하여 25분정도가 경과하기까지는 시험어가 1단계 비탈그물에서 벗어나 2단계 원통쪽으로 도피하면서 1단계 원통그물의 구석까지 빠른 속도로 왕복하는 수평 유영행동을 보였고, 수직적으로는 심도 20 m 까지 하강하였다가 다시 표층으로 부상하는 행동을 나타내었다. 그 이후 시간에는 양망 중임에도 불구하고 다시 1 단계 비탈그물 부근에 머물면서 헛통쪽으로 탈출하고자하는 행동을 나타내었고, 양망 중에 헛통으로 탈출한 것으로 나타났다. 양망 초기의 평균 유영속도는 양망직전의 유영속도에 비하여 38.5 % 증가한 0.72 m/sec (체장의 2.4 배)였으며, 방류 후 1단계 원통을 탈출할 때까지 측정한 평균 유영속도는 0.67 m/sec로 체장대비 2.2배의 빠르기였다.
