  • This paper implemented The LED illuminance control IP based on 8bit RISC Processor. 8bit RISC Processor designed hardware interrupts, an interface for serial communications, a timer system with compare-capture-reload resources and a watchdog timer. LED Array consists of Red, Green, Blue, White and Warm White. The illuminance control IP is used to LED Board control with 8bit data.

  • In this paper we proposed the design space exploration environment of re-configurable hybrid systems and evaluate the performance by changing design parameters. With this, we analyzed the effect of various scheduling methods which determine how we allocate hardware/software resources to application program. A simple static (fixed) mapping strategy produces almost the same performance compared with a sophisticated dynamic mapping strategy especially when a CPU is already busy with its pre-assigned own tasks.

  • This paper presents a new algorithm for allocating the data path to achieve the minimum power consumption under the constraints of minimum hardware resources. In order to minimize the power consumption, the proposed algorithm tries to minimize the input transitions of functional units, unnecessary computations, and size of interconnects in a greedy manner during a]location. Experimental results using benchmarks indicate the proposed algorithm achieves 17.5% power reduction on average, when compared with the genesis-lp[1]high-level synthesis system.

  • This paper proposes a code scheduling algorithm which gives a software solution to the pipeline interlock. This algorithm provides a heuristic solution by recordering the instructions, instead of using hardware interlock mechanism when pipeline interlock prevents the execution of a machine instruction in a pipelined architecture. Program code size and overall execution time can be reduced due to the increased flexibility in the selection of instructions, which is possible from the alleviated ordering restriction on the use of conflict resources.

  • In the present paper, the marine reflection seismic survey, the survey using Chirp sonar, the detail topographic survey by narrow multi-beam sounding machine, the sea bottom geological condition survey by side-scan sonar, the sea bottom sampling by core sampler and the positioning by DGPS as the geophysical survey in shallow and transitional region are introduced by placing emphasis on hardware configuration.

  • This study purposed to analyze problems in utilizing hardware and software invested for elementary and secondary school that were distributed through the education information project so far, and to make plans for substantial operation. In order to identify relevant problems and to draw up plans for substantial operation, this study analyzed relevant previous researches and investigated the current state of the utilization of educational information resources in school through question investigation. In addition, we visited elementary, secondary schools, and governmental departments of relevant personnel and had interviews with the people there. From this, we suggested the substance proposals of the educational information resources operation for elementary and secondary school. Therefore, the substance proposal to the information resource in education that was produced by this study would be useful to establish and execute relevant policy for elementary and secondary schools and governmental departments.

  • In the late 20th century, Korea has accelerated urban sprawl and demolition based redevelopment without considering local characteristics. As a result, quantitative supplement of housing has been saturated and has pushed revitalization especially. The purpose of this research is to delineate the local asset based regeneration of Gamcheon Culture Village Busan. The research methods are field visit, site observation, in-depth interview, library and internet research, data were collected and analyzed with the contents analysis techniques. As results, elements of hardware, software and humanware resources and the dynamics of the whole process such as how the resources connected and utilized, and how the external resources have been converged into these to regenerate Gamcheon Culture Village in diverse dimensions, such as cultural, social, economical and physical one were analysed. This research is expected to share the wisdom of revitalizing with collaborations. Through enhancing negative resources of decayed area to positive ones, the case produced the synergy.

A Resource Design Methodology and Adapters Implementation for Core Framework for Software Defined Radio

  • Software Communication Architecture(SCA) has been made to reduce the development period of new waveform applications by reusing design modules. Software Defined Radio(SDR) forum adopted SCA specification and follows its design concept. However, SCA specification does not describe interfaces and deployments of resources in details, which are software components, and how to implement them as well as how to communicate each other are another missing points in specification. In this paper, we propose a resource design methodology and details of adapter implementation for Core Framework(CF) that is a core set of open interface and services providing an abstraction of the underlying software and hardware layer. We also present SDR prototype system which communicates with resources implemented in different programming languages and processors in legacy environment through our design methodology.

  • 교육정보자원이란 초 중등학교의 교수 학습을 위해 수행되는 하드웨어, 소프트웨어, 인적자원, 네트워크 자원 등을 의미한다. 이러한 교육정보자원은 2차례에 걸친 교육정보화 종합계획에 의해 각급 학교로 보급이 되었고 이에 따라 학교에서는 많은 교육정보자원을 구비하게 되었다. 그러나 현재 학교에 보급된 교육정보자원은 교사들의 필요성이나 요구 등을 고려하기보다 교육청 위주의 일괄적인 구입 및 보급에 치중하거나 다른 기타 이유로 내실 있는 운영이 이루어지고 있지 않은 형편이다. 따라서 본 연구는 보급된 교육정보자원의 효율적인 운영을 위해 현재까지 보급된 교육정보자원 중에서 특히 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어 자원을 중심으로 현재의 상태 파악하고 문제점을 도출하여 보다 내실있는 운영 방안을 마련하고자 한다.

Implementation of CoAP-Lite Protocol over USN

  • It is necessary for developing specific application protocol for mobile sensor end nodes and data collection devices that have constrained resources and computing powers. Because of these needs, IETF WG developed CoAP protocol and Internet draft was released, and processing to international standardization of this protocol. Because sensor nodes and information collection devices have restricted resources and computing powers, there are some limitations for applying to this proposed protocol directly. Thus in this paper we shows the implementation of full CoAP protocol for server, works on Linux and CoAP-Lite over telos which works on TinyOS for information collection devices. In this implementation we verified the main activities of CoAP protocol over USN by modifying some hardware with dependent algorithm.
