This study was conducted to investigate the relationship of happiness, happiness promoting activities and self-reflection. Need of happiness is as important as right of life and freedom in the convergence society and heating up according to appearance of positive psychology. Subjects were 366 nursing students. Data were collected Oct. 2-8(2014), and analyzed using t-test/ANOVA and correlation by SPSS. Self-reflection showed statistically significant differences according to grade, and experience of practice. Happiness and happiness promotion activities showed statistically significant difference according to economic state. Happiness promotion activities were positively correlated with self-reflection and happiness. The factors affecting happiness were happiness promotion, economic state, and self-reflection which accounted for 26.3%. Repeated research which include various variables of happiness and self-reflection is needed, and suggest qualitative research about happiness.

This study analyzed the impact of leisure activities on school life satisfaction in the cultural rights and self-determination of teenagers who spend most of their time in school in the college entrance exam-oriented climate, and examined the effects of happiness and life satisfaction on the school life satisfaction through a process macro applying Bias Corrected Bootstrapping in these relationships. For research purposes, 2,590 cohorts in the first year of the 2018 Korea Children and Youth Panel Survey were analyzed through process macros. The result was that leisure life had a significant effect on school life satisfaction. It was also found that happiness and satisfaction in life affect satisfaction, and happiness and satisfaction in life affect satisfaction in school life and serve as a medium. This study confirmed that teenagers' participation in leisure activities greatly affects school life satisfaction and that happiness and life satisfaction have a mediating effect on school life satisfaction. In addition, we could recognize the importance of leisure activities to the satisfaction of school life of teenagers, and find it necessary to develop and provide various program graphs of schools and communities for happiness and satisfaction in life. This study verified that the participation of leisure activities of adolescents has a significant effect on school life satisfaction, and that happiness and life satisfaction have a mediating effect on school life satisfaction. In addition, we could recognize the importance of leisure activities to the satisfaction of school life of teenagers, and find it necessary to develop and provide various program graphs of schools and communities for happiness and satisfaction in life. Therefore, this research is believed to be possible to contribute to academic and practical programs for youth leisure activities and school life relationships, and to make policy suggestions for the development and participation of various leisure activities in order to fully enjoy and protect youth's rights to culture and self-determination of leisure activities.

Colaizziphenomenological The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of various communication activities performed by the elderly in their daily lives on sociality and happiness. To this end, the frequency and percentage were calculated using the SPWSSIN 25.0 program for 295 elderly people living in Ulsan Metropolitan City. Depending on the research problem the research results are as follows. First, it was found that the sociality of the elderly had a positive relationship in family communication and interpersonal communication. Second, it was found that the sociality of the elderly was influenced by children of family communication and friends and groups of interpersonal communication in communication activities. Third, it was found that the positive happiness of the elderly had an influence on the children of family communication and the group of interpersonal communication, and the negative happiness had an influence on the children of family communication, SNS activities, and text messages.
Objectives: This study aims to identify the psychosocial factors affecting on happiness among the general population in South Korea. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted using the multiple-stratified random sampling on the Korea Census of 2005. In October 2009, investigators conducted 15-minute face-to-face interviews with 1,500 South Korean volunteers ranging from 30 to 69 years old with no history of cancer. The questionnaire included socio-demographics, stress levels, coping strategies, social support, SOC, and happiness levels. Results: The multivariate analysis identified that married persons were more likely to be happy than those who were not married, respondents who had a higher score of stress and SOC were less likely to be happy, and those who had a higher score of social support from family were more likely to be happy. Conclusions: Interventions designed to increase happiness may need to include activities to control stress and promote social support from family.
This study was conducted to identify correlations in clinical nurses' personality, resilience and happiness index to provide basic resources for nurses' happiness at work. Methods: From May 1 to 15, 2019, self-report questionnaires were distributed and collected from 307 of clinical nurses in 10 hospitals located in P-metropolitan city and K-province. Analyses included descriptive statistics, t-test, Analysis of Variance, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression, conducted using IBM SPSS/WIN 24.0. Mean scores were nurses' personality 3.67, resilience 3.28, and happiness index 3.28. There were significant differences on the happiness index for: clinical experience, type of work, and leisure activities and a positive correlation between personality and resilience, between personality and happiness index and between happiness index and resilience. Happiness index was influenced by clinical experience 'Less than 1-5' (${\beta}=-.41$), '${\geq}10$' ${\beta}=-.39$), 'Less than 5-10' (${\beta}=-.34$), resilience (${\beta}=.35$), personality (${\beta}=.29$), type of work '3 shifts' (${\beta}=.12$), leisure activities (${\beta}=.10$). Explanatory power of these variables was 41%. Conclusion: Based on the findings of this study, so it is necessary to operated the career management, work management, personality training, support for resilience promotion program and leisure activities in order to increase the happiness index of hospital nurses.
This study studied the life experiences of story grandmother activities on the meaning of a happy life and positive growth for the elderly through phenomenology. This study period was conducted with pre-interviews from March 2021, and research was conducted until July 2022. As for the research method, 9 elderly women were selected as a Colaizzi phenomenological research method suitable for the work of exploring and understanding life as it is, and the following conclusions were drawn. First, the happiness experience of the elderly provides a life that responds to positive changes, gives positive meaning, and actively discovers in a desire-ful life, a comparative life, and a adaptation and coping happy life. Second, the elderly experienced the meaning of life by experiencing the happiness of moments in the self-realized life of the upward · downward theory. Third, the growth of the elderly is a happy change in PERMAS of positive psychology, pursuing life with positive emotions, immersion, and positively related meaning and purpose of life, and growing while looking at life with achievement and strength. Since this study targets elderly women aged 65 or older who are engaged in story grandmother activities, there is a limit to generalizing the research results, so it is suggested to study the growth process of more diverse age groups and various types of volunteer activities in the future.

The purpose of the study is to determine the relationship between leisure sports activities among the elderly, wellness awareness, perceived freedom, and subjective well-being. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the study subjects were selected as the population aged 65 or older who lived in the Gwangju Metropolitan City area in 2022 and engaged in leisure sports activities. As for the sampling method, samples were extracted using cluster random sampling. A total of 300 people, 150 male and 150 female, were sampled. The survey tool was modified and supplemented according to this study based on the questionnaire that had been verified for reliability and validity in previous studies, and all questionnaire items were composed of a 5-point scale. The statistical analysis used for data analysis was frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS Windows 21.0 Version. First, it was found that the wellness perception of the elderly partially affects the perceived sense of freedom. Second, it was found that the wellness perception of the elderly partially affects psychological happiness. Third, the elderly's perceived sense of freedom was found to affect their subjective well-being. Considering these research results, in order to effectively improve the quality of life in old age, it is important to promote physical, mental, emotional, and social relationships through nature-friendly sports activities to improve subjective life motivation, satisfaction, and happiness. It can be said that it increases the sense of well-being.
Objectives: This study examines the relationship between social capital and suicidal impulse for the Metropolitan Seoul residents, paying particular attention on individual and area level risk factors using multilevel analysis techniques. Methods: Data are obtained from the 2005 Seoul Health Indicators Survey and the Seoul Survey. At the individual level, we analyze demographic variables including sex, age, marital status, educational attainments, family income, field of economic activities, having close friends or relatives, and having participating groups or organization. To measure the area level social capital, happiness index, attitude toward minority, the percent of volunteer activity, the percent of having close friends or relatives, and the percent of participating groups or organization are considered. A multilevel logistic regression analysis is conducted utilizing the SAS 9.1. Result: Results show that non-aged, female, not currently married, unemployed individuals tend to have relatively high motivation of suicide. Controlling for individual level covariates, the relationship between social capital and suicidal impulse is neither significant nor substantial. Further, the consideration of area social capital does not explain the variances in suicidal impulse across 25 Kus. Conclusion: Suicidal impulse among Seoul residents is mainly attributable to the composition of individual characteristics but little to the contextual social capital.
The concept and definition of nursing and her role have been changing in accordance with the socio-cultural factors of the initial society. At present, nursing is conceptualized as a health care profession assisting man to restore, maintain and promote health by providing knowledge, wilt strength and resources through various processes of interaction. Man′s behavior, of individual and group activities for health inclusive, is driven by the initial man′s value orientation. The purpose of this study is to investigate the value orientation regarding health of rural health center milieu in order to give data for; 1. the planning for the delivery of community nursing service, 2. the health education plan at all level of nursing care activities, and 3. the planning of curriculum for nursing education. A hundred opinion leaders among the labor population residing in rural areas (P-group), hundred and six professional nurses at rural health centers (N-group) were indirectly interviewed through questionaries. And ninety five of N-group were interviewed likewise of their perceptions of P-group (NP-group) from July 15, to October 15, 1974. The result is as follows: 1. Maintenance of health is revealed to be the most valued component for man′s happiness in all the three groups. (P-group: 7.30 S. D.=1.31), (N-group :7.84 S. D. =49), and (NP-group : 5.93 S. D. =2.28) 2. The average value score of the maintenance of health revealed significant difference by P〈.001 level between each of the three groups. (Between N-group and P-group : T= -4.07 P and NP ; T=-6.93, N and NP: T=-9.35) 3. Basic health maintenance activities necessary for maintenance and promotion of personal health were moderately valued by all the three groups, P-group ; 3.74 (S. D. =.43) , N-group: 3.52 (S. D. =.34), NP-group: 3.07 (S. D. :.55) Among the 8 categories of basic health maintenance activities, "food intake" was highly valued by P-group (mean value score; 4.00 S. D=.51) , "exercise and rest" and "personal cleanliness" was highly valued by both P-group (4.02, 4.08) and N-group (4.08, 4.22). 4. The mean value score of basic health maintenance activities revealed significant difference by P〈.001 level between each of the three groups (between P-group and N-group: T=-4, 07, N-and NP: T=-6.93, P and NP T=-9.35) 5. Among the 30 questionaries, dynamic activities for health maintenance were more valued in comparison to passive activities in an tile three groups. 6. In N-group, correlation between the value of basic health maintenance activities and the personal health status personal revealed moderate significance. Correlation between the value of basic health maintenance activities and the age revealed low significance. 7. In group, correlation between the value of basic health maintenance activities and; perception of personal health status revealed non significance, between the age and sex revealed low sign affiance, and between the educational status revealed moderate significance. Recommendations are as follows ; 1. The efforts towards alteration of value orientation concerning health in general in community nursing practice de focussed be that of family Planning. 2. In order to prepare professional nurses competent in understanding individual and group, social science and behavioral science be strength ended in planning nursing curriculum. 3. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of horseback riding participation motivation on emotional style and subjective well-being. In order to achieve this research objective, adults aged 20 or older participating in equestrian clubs in Seoul, Jeolla-do, and Gyeonggi regions in 2022 were selected as the population. The sampling method used cluster random sampling, and a total of 250 people, 180 males and 120 females, were sampled. The survey tool was modified and supplemented for this study based on a questionnaire whose reliability and validity were verified in previous studies, and all questionnaire questions were structured on a 5-point scale. For data analysis, SPSS Windows 21.0 Version was used to perform statistical processing according to the purpose of analysis. The conclusions obtained in this study through data analysis according to these methods and procedures are as follows. First, the motivation to participate in horseback riding was found to partially affect emotional style. Second, the motivation to participate in horseback riding was found to partially affect subjective well-being. Third, the emotional style of horseback riding participants was found to partially affect subjective well-being. Considering these results, it is possible to satisfy various desires in modern people's lives through leisure sports activities such as horseback riding, which allows them to communicate with nature and living things. In other words, internal motivation factors such as social relationships, satisfaction of needs, and professional development through leisure sports activities are positively or negatively related to emotional regulation, and this has a close impact on satisfaction with one's life and happiness.
