This paper presents a design of a situation training system supporting mixed-reality for the developmental disabled. The training scenario is developed for the disabled to improve the sense of sight and perception. The user sticks a virtual pin into a hole in the working board according to the direction and the appropriate feedback is delivered based on the FSM(Finite State Machine). In order to improve the reality and the training effect, the user's hand is inserted in the virtual training environments and the tactile sensation is provided using the haptic device.

Managers are always trying to be the best internal controls in their organizations copper approximate because they know that be effective internal control over previous systems, to fulfill the mission of the organization and minimize unexpected events will be extremely difficult. On the other hand, the existence of internal controls to increase efficiency, reduce head loss, assets and achieving a reasonable assurance of the reliability of financial statements and compliance with laws and regulations will be. Internal control, not an event, but a series of operations and activities on the basis of output. Internal controls help to achieve the goal of minimizing the problems of implementing appropriate internal controls. Internal control is an integral component of corporate governance that will provide reasonable assurance of achieving the organization's objectives. preventing, detecting errors and fraud goes to work. Responsibility for the prevention and detection of fraud and error in the public sector is the responsibility of managers. Managers of internal control and consistently applying appropriate accounting systems, this responsibility will play (Lin et al., 2011). Since the public sector organizations differ from each other, thus establishing internal controls cant be the same for all organizations and agencies of the public sector. Establish specific controls on each system to factors such as size, type of operation and organizational goals that the system is designed, it depends. On the other hand, rapid advances in information technology, the need to update internal control guidelines in relation to Create a new computer system so as to ensure that the activities of managers and effective control Should be updated if necessary.
Ensemble approach is applied to the detection modeling of illegal cash accommodation (ICA) that is the well-known type of fraudulent usages of credit cards in far east nations and has not been addressed in the academic literatures. The performance of fraud detection model (FDM) suffers from the imbalanced data problem, which can be remedied to some extent using an ensemble of many classifiers. It is generally accepted that ensembles of classifiers produce better accuracy than a single classifier provided there is diversity in the ensemble. Furthermore, recent researches reveal that it may be better to ensemble some selected classifiers instead of all of the classifiers at hand. For the effective detection of ICA, we adopt ensemble size reduction technique that prunes the ensemble of all classifiers using accuracy and diversity measures. The diversity in ensemble manifests itself as disagreement or ambiguity among members. Data imbalance intrinsic to FDM affects our approach for ICA detection in two ways. First, we suggest the training procedure with over-sampling methods to obtain diverse training data sets. Second, we use some variants of accuracy and diversity measures that focus on fraud class. We also dynamically calculate the diversity measure-Forward Addition and Backward Elimination. In our experiments, Neural Networks, Decision Trees and Logit Regressions are the base models as the ensemble members and the performance of homogeneous ensembles are compared with that of heterogeneous ensembles. The experimental results show that the reduced size ensemble is as accurate on average over the data-sets tested as the non-pruned version, which provides benefits in terms of its application efficiency and reduced complexity of the ensemble.
This study aimed to develop a service model that uses a deep learning algorithm for detecting diseases and pests in strawberries through image data. In addition, the pest detection performance of deep learning models was further improved by proposing segmented image data sets specialized in disease and pest symptoms. The CNN-based YOLO deep learning model was selected to enhance the existing R-CNN-based model's slow learning speed and inference speed. A general image data set and a proposed segmented image dataset was prepared to train the pest and disease detection model. When the deep learning model was trained with the general training data set, the pest detection rate was 81.35%, and the pest detection reliability was 73.35%. On the other hand, when the deep learning model was trained with the segmented image dataset, the pest detection rate increased to 91.93%, and detection reliability was increased to 83.41%. This study concludes with the possibility of improving the performance of the deep learning model by using a segmented image dataset instead of a general image dataset.
In order to control the genetic background noise in QTL mapping, cofactor markers were incorporated in single marker analysis (SMACO) and interval mapping (CIM). A simulation was performed to see how effective the cofactors were by the number of QTL, the number and the type of markers, and the marker spacing. The results of QTL mapping for the simulated data showed that the use of cofactors was slightly effective when detecting a single QTL. On the other hand, a considerable improvement was observed when dealing with more than one QTL. Genetic background noise was efficiently absorbed with linked markers rather than unlinked markers. Furthermore, the efficiency was different in QTL mapping depending on the type of linked markers. Well-chosen markers in both SMACO and CIM made the range of linkage position for a significant QTL narrow and the estimates of QTL effects accurate. Generally, 3 to 5 cofactors offered accurate results. Over-fitting was a problem with many regressor variables when the heritability was small. Various marker spacing from 4 to 20 cM did not change greatly the detection of multiple QTLs, but they were less efficient when the marker spacing exceeded 30 cM. Likelihood ratio increased with a large heritability, and the threshold heritability for QTL detection was between 0.30 and 0.05.
More than 42 000 fires occur nationwide and cause over 2500 casualties every year. There is a lack of specialized equipment, and rescue operations are conducted with a minimal number of apparatuses. Through-the-wall radars (TTWRs) can improve the rescue efficiency, particularly under limited visibility due to smoke, walls, and collapsed debris. To overcome detection challenges and maintain a small-form factor, a TTWR system-on-chip (SoC) and its architecture have been proposed. Additive reception based on coherent clocks and reconfigurability can fulfill the TTWR demands. A clock-based single-chip infrared radar transceiver with embedded control logic is implemented using a 130-nm complementary metal oxide semiconductor. Clock signals drive the radar operation. Signal-to-noise ratio enhancements are achieved using the repetitive coherent clock schemes. The hand-held prototype radar that uses the TTWR SoC operates in real time, allowing seamless data capture, processing, and display of the target information. The prototype is tested under various pseudo-disaster conditions. The test standards and methods, developed along with the system, are also presented.
The surface inspection of a steel billet is a common practice in the steel manufacturing process prior to hot rolling to produce steel wire for tire cord. This billet surface inspection is an important process because flaws on the surface may cause major failures during the product manufacturing phase. This paper presents a computer simulation based on a finite element method for a magnetic flaw detector with a function of the current intensity, the number of coil turns, and the billet proceeding speed during the production phase based on the typical condition of conventional apparatus. Based on the simulation result, the magnitude of the electromagnetic field on the surface diminished with distance from the electromagnet. In addition, the increased current intensity and the increased number of coil turns actually induced a stronger electromagnetic field on the billet surface. On the other hand, the proceeding speed of a billet in its production line had no significant effects. The result in this study may assist to reduce trial and error and to minimize the opportunity costs during the optimization process by applying the findings of this study into the operation condition in the steel billet production line.
Purpose: To assess the effect of handwashing improving program and MRSA carrier detection program on MRSA(methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus) infection rate in a intensive care unit. Method: The intervention was Nosocomial Infection(NI) control program consisted of hand washing improving program and identification and treatment of MRSA carrier. Data on the NI and MRSA infections were collected by an infection control nurse based on the definition of CDC. MRSA infection rates were calculated by the number of MRSA infection per 100 admissions or 1,000 patients-days. The difference of MRSA infection rates between pre and post intervention was tested by Chi-square at =.05. Result: MRSA infection rates 3.0% or 3.2 per 1,000 patient-days at the pre, 4.6% or 3.7 per 1,000 patient-days at the post, and the differences were not statistically significant (p=.411, p=.769 respectively). Conclusion: The handwashing improving program and MRSA carrier detection program was not effective in reducing the Nosocomial Infection(NI) or MRSA infection rates. It is recommended further studies with a longer intervention and follow-up period.

As the usage of the Internet grows and digital media become more diversified, it has become much easier for digital contents to be distributed and shared. This makes easier to access the desired digital contents. On the other hand, there is an increasing need to protect the copyright of digital works. There are some prevalent ways to protect ownership, but they accompany several disadvantages. Among those ways, watermarking methods have the advantage of ensuring invisibility, but they also have a disadvantage that they are vulnerable to external attacks such as a noise and signal processing. In this paper, we propose the detecting method of illegal contents that is robust against external attacks to protect digital works. We extract HSV and LBP features from images and use Euclidian-based hashing techniques to shorten the searching time on high-dimensional and near-duplicate videos. According to the results, the proposed method showed higher detection rates than that of the Watermarking techniques in terms of the images with fabrications or deformations.

In this paper, two types of micro-optic submersion detection systems are proposed and demonstrated. The structures are based on the transmission and reflection of incident light, respectively. Two collimators are separated by 10 mm and installed face to face in straight line. The incident light transmits from one side of collimator to the other through the air, but the optical loss is below 1 dB. On the other hand, when the sensors are submersed into water, most of optical power scattered into water. The systems monitor the dramatical power change to alarm the submersion. Reflection type of sensor system has a Bragg grating at the end of the sensor for back-reflection of sensing signal. This is for simple configuration of systems. The performance of two sensor systems are described in detail.
