A Study on InSb Magnetic Sensor using Hall Effect (Hall효과를 이용한 InSb가 자기 Sensor에 관한 연구)

  • InSb thin film magnetic sensor, which have been prepared on glass substrate by vacuum evaporation, is investigated in this paper. The dependance of Hall voltage on magnetic field and temperature is examined by Hall effect. The variation of Hall voltage with magnetic field is almost linear at constant current drive but it is deviated from the linearity at constant voltage drive. Hall voltage decreases as the ambient temperature increases, so it is necessary to take into account the temperature effect when the InSb thin film is used as magnetic sensor.

  • High $T_{c}$ superconducting $Y_{1}Ba_{2}Cu_{3}O_{7-\delta}$ thin film was grown up for c-axis orientation by epitaxial growth method on $LaAlO_{3}$ single crystal substrate. The crystal structures of this thin film were found to be c-axis orientation by X-ray diffraction patterns. Hall effect and resistivity measurements were made by van der Pauw method. Hall resistivity was calculated from the magnetoresistivity by considering thermomagnetic effect. The relation was $pH=p_{s}tan{\alpha}_{n}-QBT\frac{S_s}{K_s}$ The measured Hall resistivity and the calculated one are in good agreement each other.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify a relationship among service quality and customer satisfaction of wedding hall restaurants, and recommendation intention, as well as the moderating effect of image of wedding halls and hotels on the relationship. A hierarchical regression analysis thorugh SPSS was conducted to test the model hypotheses. Research samples were collected from 331 customers of wedding hall restaurants and hotels located in Seoul. The findings and implications of the research can be summarized as follows. First, the employees, facilities and environment service, and convenience of wedding hall restaurants had a positive effect on customer satisfaction of wedding hall restaurants. Second, evidence suggested that service quality of wedding hall restaurants had a positive effect on recommendation intention. Third, while there was a negative moderating effect of image of wedding halls and hotels between food and employee service quality and customer satisfaction, a positive moderation effect of image of wedding halls and hotels was found. Fourth, there was a negative moderating effect between customer satisfaction and recommendation intention.

A Magnetic Microsensor based on the Hall Effect in an AC Microplasma (극미세 교류 플라즈마 내에서의 홀 효과를 이용한 마이크로 자기센서)

  • This paper presents a new class of magnetic microsensors based on the Hall effect in AC microplasma. In the theoretical study, we develop a simple model of the plasma Hall sensor and express the plasma Hall voltage as a function of magnetic field, plasma discharge field, pressure, and electrode geometry. On this basis, we have designed and fabricated magnetic microsensors using AC neon plasma. In the experiment, we have measured the Hall voltage output of the plasma microsensors for varying five different conditions, including the frequency and the magnitude of magnetic field, the frequency and the magnitude of plasma discharge voltage, and the neon pressure. The fabricated magnetic microsensors show a magnetic field sensitivity of 8.87${\pm}$0.18㎷/G with 4.48% nonlinearity.

Fine Structure in Magnetization Reversal of Permalloy/Cu Multilayer (Permalloy/Cu 다층막 자화반전의 미세 구조)

  • Magnetoresistance and Planar Hall effect of Glass/Ni$\sub$83/Fe$\sub$17/(2 nm)/[Cu(2 nm)Ni$\sub$83/Fe$\sub$17/(20 nm)]$\sub$50/ multilayer were measured. Repeated saw tooth like planar Hall effect signal was observed in the range of magnetization reversal process, while no sign of such saw tooth was observed in Magnetoresistance diagram. For the reason of saw tooth like signal, it is supposed that subsequent abrupt domain wall motion of each magnetic layer in the process of magnetization reversal process was observed in planar Hall effect in transverse direction to the current direction. This fine structure of planar Hall effect was observed for applied fields in any direction. Magnetoresistance curve did not show this fine structure of magnetization reversal, of course, since only net magnetization of each layer has to do with the resistivity. Extended research on the reason of this sawtooth like signal should be conducted.

  • Magnetic Characteristics of an InSb hall device of multilayered structures were investigated. For the measurement of electrical properties of the hall device InSb thin films fabricated with series and parallel multilayers wee evaporated. Hall coefficient hall mobility carrier density and hall voltage were measured as a function of the intensity of magnetic field. We found that the XRD analysis of InSb thin film showed good properties at 20$0^{\circ}C$ 60 minutes. Resistance of ohmic contact was increased linearly due to increasing current. Hall voltages at 0.01 T showed 5$\times$10$^{-4}$ [V] and $1.5\times$10$^{-3}$ [V]. Some of device fabrication technique and analysis of magnetic characteristics were discussed.

  • InSb hall effect of multilayerd structures were investigated. According to variation of magnetic field measured hall coefficient, Hall mobility, carrier density and hall voltage. For the measurement of electrical properties of hall device, evaperated InSb thin film fabricated with series and parallel multilayers. We found that the XRD analysis of InSb thin film showed good properties at $200^{\circ}C$, 60 minutes. Resistance of ohmic contact increased linearly due to increasing current. Some of device fabrication technique and analysis of Hall effect were discussed.

  • Since the magnetic bearing system has unstability inherently it is necessary to measure the displacement for stable operation. Normally the displacement measurement is implemented by using sensors. The sensor for the displacement measurement is selected by precision, installation space, effect of magnetic field and response speed. And the cost of displacement measurement sensor also is considered. At the cost the hall effect sensor has a large advantage comparing with the others. Therefore this study concern about the basis experimental test for the displacement measurement of the magnetic bearing system that uses the hall effect sensor coupled with a tiny permanent magnet. The experimental results confirm the validity and practicability for this displacement measurement sensor.

  • Optical and electrical properties of GaSe:Er\ulcorner single crystals grown by the Bridgenman technique have been investigated by using optical absorption and h\Hall-effect measurement system. The Hall coefficients were mea-sured by using a high impedance electrometer in the temperature range from 360K to 150K. The temperature dependence of hole concentration show the characteristic of a partially compensated p-type semiconductor. Carrier density(N\ulcorner) of GaSe doped with Erbium was measured about 3.25$\times$10\ulcorner [cm\ulcorner] at temperature 300K, which was higher than undoped specimen. Photon energy gap (E\ulcorner) of GaSe:Er\ulcorner specimen was measured about 1.79eV.
