As the subscription rate to both Internet services and wireless communications services increases rapidly, traffic in the future wireless communications will be dominated by Internet applications. Current research for wireless technology is focused to the multimedia data transmission mainly for the personal computer or notebook whose display which has large display and abundant memory. But in the near future, Internet access request from the handphone or PDA device which is already spreaded in the world will be large. Special handset terminals which has small display monitor, low capacity memory and poor processing power has to be managed differently from torrent wireless communications protocols. So, WAP Forum is organized with wireless handset manufacturers in the world and the standardization process for wireless application is being actively developed. In this paper, basic model and architecture of WAP is introduced and adaptation requirements for change from HTML documents to WML formats are proposed. Also, compression ratio gained in the transform from the existing web documents to WML is shown.

Recently, due to the standard of a new browser developed by the Google and Mozilla "Service Worker", future users is expected to be able to make use of favorite Web sites offline. Google's is, Web sites have developed a standard of a new browser so as to always respond to user requests. Service Worker, websites that provide space capable of offline work to the user's browser to store various document information, to provide the necessary resources. Then, in order to greatly reduce the data exchange operations between the browser and the server, the speed of the Web page increases. Not only cooks as native app that can use the Web application offline, in that us to also further enhance the characteristics of an existing Web application that is running without installing destructive high technology. Service worker specifications, use experience of Web application is very can be improved, is an innovative technology indicates the version of the web evolve as the future of the platform. Service Worker is not included in HTML5 standard final, is currently being continued standardization. Future Service Worker technology I expect what kind of thing unfolds when applied to the Web browser.

As Internet advances, websites with simpel HTML pages are changing to complex web application systems with enormous contents and various services. With this trend, it is noted that situations where Web accessibility of the old and the handicapped is inhibited are growing. To solve this problem, The Disability Discrimination Act has been enacted since April 2013. This act triggers massive website reorganization efforts. However, in order for the huge and sophisticated web applications and web sites to ensure a web accessibility, a framework is required to throughout the web site development. Based on thorough review of website development methodologies, web accessibility compliance standards, and various web accessibility issues related to website characteristics, this study proposes a practice oriented "Web Accessibility Compliance Framework". The current study also examines the usefulness and value of this framework by applying it to the internet banking development project of W bank and receiving a certificate for high quality website complying web accessibility standards.

This paper proposes the web information extraction system that extracts the pre-defined information automatically from web documents (i.e, HTML documents) and integrates the extracted information, The system recognizes entities without lables by the probabilistic based entity recognition method and extends the existing domain knowledge semiautomatically by using the extracted data, Moreover, the system extracts the sub-linked information linked to the basic page and integrates the similar results extracted from heterogeneous sources, The experimental result shows that the system extracts the sub-linked information and uses the probabilistic based entity recognition enhances the precision significantly against the system using only the domain knowledge, Moreover, the presented system can the more various information precisely due to applying the system with flexibleness according to domains, Because bath the semiautomatic domain knowledge expansion and the probabilistic based entity recognition improve the quality of the information, the system can increase the degree of user satisfaction at its maximum. Thus, this system can satisfy the intellectual curiosity of users from movie sites, performance sites, and dining room sites, We can construct various comparison shopping mall and contribute the revitalization of e-business.

In this paper, in order to help one to write contents for education in such a way to increase effectiveness, we implement SMIL editor, which helps anyone to author contents for education and multimedia text in an easy way based on multimeda language SMIL. Thanks to its interface which utilizes WYSIWYGT, this editor allows teachers or other users who do not know SMIL to write contents for education and multimedia text in an easy way and to check in a real time how a partially completed document work and to revise when it is not satisfactory. It also allows one to write contents with explanations to help learning because usable multimedia objects can be inserted. This editor helps the user to reduce his inconvenience that he has in memorizing SMIL tags and to reduce his time and offers in writing the documents.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the style and the subject of the teaching kits published by the National Archives in the Australia, the USA. and the UK. The teaching kits-the educational document packets-made in printed format or PDF, HTML style are useful tools and better medium with which the national archives support classroom study and publicize the holdings of archives to students and teachers. Although subjects covered in the teaching kits vary slightly according to national circumstances, primary topics are history of nation and government, civil rights, immigration, war, events, culture, and records, etc. It is important to select the theme, find the related original records, and edit packets for students take much interest in.

As environmental issues are emerging, many efforts are globally conducted to reduce waste of energies and resources for green growth, as well as low-carbon emitting and replacement of document papers with digital files and images. On the other hand, it may require much time and efforts for users to find the proper image files on the web, where enormous un-standardized digital files are flourishing. Therefore, power and resource consumption may also grow up again in searching and retrieving files. This paper suggests efficient system design and implementation for fast and precise massive image contents retrieval for saving the energies and resources. Eventually it will contribute to green growth in computing environment.

In this paper, we present a Web-based reading system. The existing Web-based reading systems have not provided adequate interactivity among students, teachers and parents so that those systems could not achieve good effects. Our system is designed and implemented to reinforce interactivity using advanced communication technologies. The design principle is based on the constructivism so that we let students learn for themselves. Our system also provide various evaluation processes for enhancing students' understanding.

방통융합시대가 도래함에 따라 방송망뿐만 아니라 IP망을 통해 콘텐츠를 소비할 수 있는 스마트TV의 보급이 급속히 확산되고 있다. 또한 영상과 음악 및 광고와 같은 멀티미디어 콘텐츠의 소비 환경이 한 화면에 한 가지의 미디어 서비스만 제공받는 환경에서 다양한 정보를 동시에 소비할 수 있는 환경으로 확대되면서 다양한 정보를 하나의 화면에서 혼용적으로 전달하기 위한 장면구성정보가 필요하게 되었다. 장면구성정보는 미디어가 소비되는 특정 시간과 해당 공간의 정보를 기술하므로써 다수의 미디어를 복합적으로 소비하는 방법으로, IP 기반에서도 여러 개의 화면을 통해 여러 소스의 콘텐츠를 소비하여 다양한 사용자 경험(User Experience)를 제공하고자 ISO/IEC JTC1/SC29/WG11(별칭 MPEG)에서는 방송서비스에서 방송망 및 IP망을 활용하여 멀티미디어 데이터를 전송할 때 사용하는 MPEG Media Transport(MMT)를 기반으로 장면구성정보를 제공하기 위한 MMT-Composition Information(MMT-CI)를 기술표준화하였다. 본 논문에서는 MMT-CI의 표준문서에 따라 W3C의 웹언어인 HTML5와 확장성 언어인 XML을 이용하여 멀티소스를 활용한 장면구성정보를 기술하는 것을 제안하고 장면구성서비스에 적용을 위한 플레이어를 구현 및 검증한다.

In engineering industry, technical documentation refers to any type of documentation that describes handling, functionality and architecture of a technical product. The intended audiences for product technical documentation is the end user, the administrator, service or maintenance technician. Competition and rapid technological evolutions have created pressure to release new and improved products on an increasingly frequent basis. As the technical capabilities of products advance, the technical documentation for those products is becoming longer and complex. The Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) is and XML-based, end-to-end architecture for authoring, producing, and delivering technical documents. DITA is an OASIS standard that allows documentation groups to single-source document for multiple products and users, to automatically publish that documentation in several media formats including PDF and HTML, and to efficiently maintain and update that documentation. This paper study on the various implementation projects for technical documentation using OASIS DITA standard and examines the potential for using DITA as a solution for reconstructing existing technical documentation. Also We offer an incremental adoption approach to effectively implement DITA standard of technical documentation project for domestic firms, while reducing failures.
