mmWave대역에서 고속 이동상태 5G MIMO 시스템 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of High-Speed 5G MIMO System in mmWave Band)

  • 5G 목표 중 하나는 기차와 같이 고속으로 이동하는 사용자에 대해 고속의 데이터 속도를 제공하는 것이다. 따라서, High speed train (HST) 시나리오와 같은 높은 이동성 시나리오는 5세대 통신 시스템의 전형적인 시나리오가 될 것으로 예상된다. HST가 급속하게 발전함에 따라 열차 승객에게 무선 통신 데이터를 전송 해야하며, 이용자들의 요구하는 통신 속도는 점차 증가하고 있다. HST 사용자는 현재 HST 통신 시스템의 기능을 벗어나는 위치 또는 속도에 관계없이 높은 네트워크 용량과 안정적인 통신 서비스를 요구한다. 따라서, 5세대 이동통신으로 사용될 mm대역에서 5G 이동통신 시스템에 맞춰 전송 frame을 구성하고 HST 통신 시스템을 구현하고 HST 시나리오에서 광대역 비 정지 MIMO HST 채널에 대한 성능을 분석한다.

  • 국내에서 사용되는 트랙터는 출력과 상관없이 쟁기 작업을 포함한 농작업, 운반작업 등이 주로 사용되는 편이나, 북미 또는 서유럽의 경우 소형 트랙터는 토목공사의 로더, 굴삭 작업 또는 잔디깍기 등의 농장 및 정원 관리용 등으로 주로 사용되며 쟁기 작업은 거의 하지 않는다. 이와 같은 목적으로 사용하는 트랙터는 견인력을 적게 요구하는 대신 잦은 변속 및 전후진의 방향 전환을 요구하므로, 기계식 트랙터로써는 많은 불편함을 느낄 수밖에 없다. 고속전철 천안역사 내부의 풍압연구 (A Study on Wind Pressure inside Cheonan High Speed Train Station)

  • Unlike ordinary train, the HST(High Speed Train) is operated at a very high speed, which may cause pressure transient problems when the HST is passing through a station. In the present study, the wind pressure caused by the passing HST was measured in the Cheonan HST station and compared with the numerical simulations. For the measurement, the HST was passing through the station at speeds of 240 km/h north bound and 150 km/h south bound. MEMS based differential pressure transducers are used to measure pressure variation at various locations in the station. It is shown from the results that measured data are in good agreement with CFD simulation with moving mesh technique for the train movement. With the present validation of CFD simulation, the CFD simulation may effectively aid the design of future HST station.

기주특이적 독소를 생성하는 Alternaria 병원균군의 RAPD 분석 (RAPD Analysis of Host-specific Toxin (HST) Producing Alternaria species)

  • RAPD analysis was performed from four host-specific toxin (HST) producing Alternaria, i.e., A. kikuchiana, A. mali, a. longipes and A. Longipes and A. alternata f. sp. lycopersici, nonpathogenic A. alternata and A. brassicicola to assess their phylogenetic relationship. DNA polymorphism was detected among species (pathotypes) of HST producing Alternaria by PCR amplification and differentiation of the species was recognized by RAPD analysis. Primer OPA-02 was the most profitable among 7 notificated primers for differentiation of the HST producing Alternaria species. UPGMA analysis of the RAPD bands from alternaria spp. revealed that HST producing Alternaria and nonpathogenic a. alternata are closely related.

  • This paper deals with pressure ripple and noise reduction characteristics for a hydrostatic transmission(HST) consisting of a variable axial piston pump connected in an open loop to a fixed displacement axial piston motor. Pressure ripples in HST is major source of vibration, which can lead to fatigue failure of components and cause noise. In order to reduce the pressure ripple, an annular tube type hydraulic filter proposes to absorb pressure ripples with the high frequencies components to achieve better noise attenuation in HST. The basic principle tube is applied to propagation of pressure wave, reflection, absorption in cross section of discontinuity and resonance in the hydraulic pipeline. It is experimently confirmed that a hydraulic filter is absorbed to be about 30∼40dB of pressure ripple with high frequencies. These results will assist in modeling and design of noise reduction in hydraulic control systems, and here, should provide a means of designing a quieter HST.

Direct shear behavior of concrete filled hollow steel tube shear connector for slim-floor steel beams

  • In this paper, a hollow steel tube (HST) shear connector is proposed for use in a slim-floor system. The HST welded to a perforated steel beam web and embedded in concrete slab. A total of 10 push-out tests were conducted under static loading to investigate the mechanical behavior of the proposed HST connector. The variables were the shapes (circular, square and rectangular) and sizes of hollow steel tubes, and the compressive strength of the concrete. The failure mode was recorded as: concrete slab compressive failure under the steel tube and concrete tensile splitting failure, where no failure occurred in the HST. Test results show that the square shape HST in filled via concrete strength 40 MPa carried the highest shear load value, showing three times more than the reference specimens. It also recorded less slip behavior, and less compressive failure mode in concrete underneath the square hollow connector in comparison with the circular and rectangular HST connectors in both concrete strengths. The rectangular HST shows a 20% higher shear resistance with a longer width in the load direction in comparison with that in the smaller dimension. The energy absorption capacity values showed 23% and 18% improvements with the square HST rather than a headed shear stud when embedded in concrete strengths of 25 MPa and 40 MPa, respectively. Moreover, an analytical method was proposed and predicts the shear resistance of the HST shear connectors with a standard deviation of 0.14 considering the shape and size of the connectors.

오리나무유래 디아릴헵타노이드 허수테논의 T 세포활성억제 및 항아토피 효능연구 (T-lymphocyte Inactivation and Anti-atopic Effects of Diarylheptanoid Hirsutenone Isolated from Alnus japonica)

  • 본 연구에서는 오리나무유래 HST의 T 세포 비활성화 효능을 확인하고 그 기전을 탐색하여 새로운 항아토피 천연소재로의 개발 가능성을 제시하고자 하였다. HST는 T 세포 mitogen으로서 anti-CD3 mAb가 처리 된 마우스 비장에서 Th 사이토카인(IL-2, IFN-${\gamma}$, IL-4, IL-5, IL-10)의 발현을 효과적으로 억제하였으며, T 세포 early activation marker인 CD25 유전자 발현이 INCA-6에서 매우 효과적으로 억제되는 것으로 보아, NFAT inactivator-유사 NFAT 탈인산화 억제 기전을 가지는 것으로 예측되었다. 또한 세포주기조절 단백질인 p21과 p27의 유전자도 HST에 의해 upregulation이 되어 효과적인 T 세포 증식 및 분화를 억제할 것으로 생각되었다. 이러한 세포주기조절 효과는 AD를 악화시키는 세균인 S. aureus 성장억제 실험에서 확인되어 향후 항박테리아 효능을 갖는 우수한 항아토피피부염 천연소재로서 HST의 활용 가치가 높을 것으로 판단된다.

  • A numerical analysis on the effect of the front shape on the aerodynamic characteristics of HST model is made, using FVM based general purpose 3D Navier-Stokes eq. solver, TURBO-3D program. Numerical solutions are compared with each case of different front shape for HST model. The result shows a good quantitative aerodynamic characteristic tendencies for variation of front shape of HST. Thus it may be used as a basis in the design of the shape of real HST.

  • The intent of this study is to investigate whether two oriental medical prescriptions named haengsotang(HST) and gami-palmihwan(GPMH) significantly effect mucin release from cultured hamster tracheal surface epithelial(HTSE) cells, Confluent HTSE cells were metabolically radiolabeled with $^3H-glucosamine$ for 24 hrs and chased for 30 min in the presence of HST or GPMH to assess the effect of each agent on $^3H-mucin$ release. Possible cytotoxicities of each agent were assessed by measuring lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) release. Also, the effects of HST and GPMH on contractility of isolated tracheal smooth muscle were investigated. The results are consistant with the following assertions: (1) HST significantly inhibited mucin release from cultured HTSE cells, without cytotoxicity; (2) GPMH did not effect mucin release without cytotoxicity; (3) HST and GPMH did not effect contractility of isolated tracheal smooth muscle. These results suggest a need for further investigation of HST and its components, for its potential in oriental medicine prescriptions and novel agents that effectively regulate (inhibit) mucin secretion from airway goblet cells.

Numerical investigation of flow structures and aerodynamic pressures around a high-speed train under tornado-like winds

  • The funnel-shaped vortex structure of tornadoes results in a spatiotemporally varying wind velocity (speed and direction) field. However, very limited full-scale tornado data along the height and radius positions are available to identify and reliably establish a description of complex vortex structure together with the resulting aerodynamic effects on the high-speed train (HST). In this study, the improved delayed detached eddy simulation (IDDES) for flow structures and aerodynamic pressures around an HST under tornado-like winds are conducted to provide high-fidelity computational fluid dynamics (CFD) results. To demonstrate the accuracy of the numerical method adopted in this study, both field observations and wind-tunnel data are utilized to respectively validate the simulated tornado flow fields and HST aerodynamics. Then, the flow structures and aerodynamic pressures (as well as aerodynamic forces and moments) around the HST at various locations within the tornado-like vortex are comprehensively compared to highlight the importance of considering the complex spatiotemporal wind features in the HST-tornado interactions.
