This paper attempts to clarify the similarity found in Seo Jungjoo's two books of poems, Seo Jungjoo Shiseon and Shillacho, and thereby to establish the continuity between Seo's early poetry and his mid-period poetry. This attempt arises from the realization that unfamiliar poetic material, background, and narration are merely surface features, and that in fact his early concerns nevertheless persist in terms of his poetic imagination and his Weltanschauung. Furthermore, this continuity seems to originate from shamanistic spiritual chaos that is consubstantially interrelated with the spirit of his deceased lover. After chaos and confusion subsided, the poet's endeavor to discover the lineal origin of his personal shamanism shows itself in Seo Jungjoo Shiseon, and we witness the embodiment of such endeavor in Shillacho. His interest in the skies as it is expressed in my poem, and Shilla as it is intimated by Gwanghwamun are sublimated in saso yeonjag and the words of Queen Seondeog into shamanic wisdom that served as the norm for both spiritual life and physical life in ancient times, and the wisdom is carried on further into the present in Seo's own times. Moreover, the star and the bell sound that were presented as signs of desirable Weltanschauung in Sangrigwawon are transformed into the symbols of shamanic wisdom, and into the inner magic formula that contributes to achieving the wisdom. This analysis offers as its result the evidence embedded in his poems that shows, first, that the two books correspond to merely two separate stages of his poetic concern, and second, that his early poetic concern persists, though transformed through a peculiar manner, into his mid-period poems.

The 21 century has entered a stage of innovation with current globalization. The technical development of science has changed more rapidly than any other era and through this change, design will control the world. For this reason, I consider that researching Philippe Starck's - one of most active designers in the world- philosophies and traits of his work can be the key to understanding 21st century's design characters and main trends. Furthermore this research will also help to predict future design. Philippe Starck has diverse traits but this study would like to focus on his trait of Surrealism. First I have arranged all his design backgrounds including periodic circumstance which influenced his works. Secondly I researched and analyzed how his design philosophy has expressed his works. Phillppe Starck defines Surrealism as an expression of a dream and unconsciousness showing an indoor view and he expresses his characteristic wit and humor by presenting completely different and exceptional space from what people have usually seen.

Arata Isozaki is one of the Japan's most important contemporary architects with an international reputation and has designed notable buildings in Asia, Europe, and the United States. Arata Isozaki is not an architect simply explained by a single ism or style, he has dedicated himself to express all diversities implied in different periods and styles. With an avant-garde spirit and enthusiastic creativity, he has devoted all his efforts to bring these diversities and complexities into his own architectural works. The study was aimed to identify the key characteristics implied in his overall design concept. Through the analysis of his works, the key features underlined in his works were characterized by five key words, which are tradition, eclectic, metaphor, metabolism and proportion. These five characteristics have been well Presented in his works individually and sometimes as a whole. His unique combination among these key design concepts has been impressed by many other architects in worldwide.

Gyoojoon Lee is a prominent figure of Confucianism and traditional medicine representing southern region of Korea during late $19^{th}$ and early $20^{th}$ century, but studies on his achievements were just started merely a decade ago. We would provide foundation for the further multidisciplinary study on his legacy. We reviewed his chronology, written works, interactions with intellectual figures, and current studies on his works to provide foundations for more thorough research on his legacy. We found he has wide spectrum of studies in medicine, confucianism, literature, humanism and philosophy during the late Chosun dynasty, Korean empire and Japanese colonization period. He wrote twenty five books in diverse fields and was found to have interactions with fifty seven figures with idea during his lifetime which need more detailed examination. Multidisciplinary studies on Gyoojoon Lee is guaranteed for the future in depth study on his works including Buyunglon (theory of supporting Yang).

In 1896, Rayleigh was appointed as Scientific Advisor of the Trinity House. Rayleigh applied his knowledge of sound to developing effective fog signals during his IS-year tenure at the maritime organization. Rayleigh's expertise on acoustics met an appropriate field for its application during his improvement of the fog signal for the institution. Rayleigh's activities at the Trinity House were motivated by his desire to make contribution to the public. During his research on the fog signal, Rayleigh effectively employed his expertise acquired through his mathematical and experimental research on sound and vibration since the 1860s. Rayleigh developed effective horns for emitting fog signals and proposed various ways of overcoming the weaknesses of sound signals available at that time. While attempting to solve the problem of the attenuation of sound signals disseminating through the air, Rayleigh put foundations of atmospheric acoustics by developing new scientific theories about it.

In the nineteenth century was Augustus De Morgan, British mathematician, a great mathematics teacher. Although his name is well known to everybody who is interested in set theory, his major mathematical legacy would arise from his novel research in logic. In this article, we first investigate De Morgan's life briefly; we then consider his precious philosophy of mathematics education based on his students' remarks and his works. Finally, by considering his teaching style, we highlight some of the ingredients that go into making a great mathematics teacher.

This paper surveys the meaning of the pen name ′Yi Sang(李箱)′ in the light of the arbitariness of language and the relationship among names, observing in three ways how the images of ′Sang′ (Box) appear differently in his works. In Particular, we look into (1) the relationship between a box and its inner boxes, (2) the divisional relationship in the box, and (3) the relationship between the box and an outer box. In Yi Sang′s work, image (1) gives shape to the relationship between the writer himself and his ancestors who are responsible for his present existence. Image (2) gives shape to two internally divided Yi Sangs, and is symbolized as a mirror that reflects two selves. Image (3) gives shape to a relationship between himself in the closed world and other people and/or a bigger outside world. All these symbolic relationships are fully represented in his work "Nalgae" (The Wing)". What is interesting is that Yi Sang has already employed these box images in his earlier poetry "Geonchuk-muhan-yukmyeon-gaucho" (Infinite Architectural Hexagon). furthermore, by visualizing his name as a sqaure($\square$), he means to suggest the intentional image of his pen name as a ′box′.

Seamus Heaney, a famous Irish poet after Yeats, has written some pastoral lyrics from his experiences of farm life and childhood memories. These poems, in spite of his simple overt praise of a rustic farm life, have layers of meaning with their vast allusiveness and implications. He is an extremely literary writer dealing with history from the Celtic myth and a long English literary history. Though his style reminds that of a Victorian poet through his allusions of nature, he is a modern poet of innovative skills and senses. The explication of his representative sonnet sequence, the "Glanmore Sonnets" will reveal exquisite, complicated poetics of a modern poet. The poems are basically love poems, and the love is directed to his beloved wife, his lifetime companion. The poems relate the cultivation of a land to the poet's excavating language from the classics and to the images of love making. Through a careful reading of the sonnets this article will broaden our knowledge on how a modern love lyric of layered meanings can retain the past tradition in its complicated poetics.

This study focuses on the adoption of Healthcare Information System (HIS) in India's healthcare services, which has led to an increased use of HIS software for managing patient information in hospitals. The study aims to evaluate the factors that influence hospital workers' satisfaction with HIS usage and its impact on their intention to continue in the use of HIS. Primary data was collected through a survey questionnaire from 265 hospital workers. A new framework was developed, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used for analysis. Sensitivity analysis was also conducted on demographic data using an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) approach. The results indicated that all hypotheses were significant (p < 0.05). Effort expectancy was the most significant factor influencing hospital workers' satisfaction (p < 0.01). Sensitivity analysis showed that education (Model-A) and experience in use of HIS (Model-B) were the most important factors. The study contributes by proposing a new theoretical framework and extending the previous research on HIS usage satisfaction. Overall, the study highlights the importance of easiness and usefulness in predicting HIS usage satisfaction.

Jules Henri Poincare was great not only as a mathematician brit also as a philosopher of science. He received many honors for his outstanding research. He was elected to the Academie des Sciences in 1887 and was elected President of tile Academy in 1906. In 1908 he was elected to the Academie Francaise and was elected director in the year of his death. The Poincare Conjecture was selected Millennium Prize Problems fly The Clay Mathematics Institute of Cambridge, Massachusetts(CMI). The Board of Directors of CMI have designated a $1 million prize fund for the solution to his problem. In this paper, Poincare's major works, his life, his philosophy and the Poincare Conjecture are given.
