Discrepancy of Bone Metastases between F-18 FDG PET/CT and Bone Scan in a Patient with Prostate Cancer (전립선암에서 골전이 진단에 대한 F-18 FDG PET/CT와 골스캔의 불일치)

  • We report the case of a 73-year-old man who had prostate cancer with bone metastases. Tc-99m HDP Whole body bone scan revealed multiple areas of increased bony uptake consistent with widespread bone metastases. F-18 fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) demonstrated mild F-18 FDG uptake in the lymph nodes of neck, abdomen, and pelvis. However, abnormal F-18 FDG uptake was not seen in the skeletal system. Biopsy and immunohistochemical stains of left supraclavicular mass showed metastatic prostate adenocarcinoma. Currently, there are a few reported cases of F-18 FDG PET/CT evaluation of bone metastases in prostate cancer. We discuss the discrepancy between F-18 FDG PET/CT and bone scan in the detection of osseous metastases of prostate cancer.

Phrase-based Topic and Sentiment Detection and Tracking Model using Incremental HDP

  • Sentiments can profoundly affect individual behavior as well as decision-making. Confronted with the ever-increasing amount of review information available online, it is desirable to provide an effective sentiment model to both detect and organize the available information to improve understanding, and to present the information in a more constructive way for consumers. This study developed a unified phrase-based topic and sentiment detection model, combined with a tracking model using incremental hierarchical dirichlet allocation (PTSM_IHDP). This model was proposed to discover the evolutionary trend of topic-based sentiments from online reviews. PTSM_IHDP model firstly assumed that each review document has been composed by a series of independent phrases, which can be represented as both topic information and sentiment information. PTSM_IHDP model secondly depended on an improved time-dependency non-parametric Bayesian model, integrating incremental hierarchical dirichlet allocation, to estimate the optimal number of topics by incrementally building an up-to-date model. To evaluate the effectiveness of our model, we tested our model on a collected dataset, and compared the result with the predictions of traditional models. The results demonstrate the effectiveness and advantages of our model compared to several state-of-the-art methods.

Fluorine Penetration Characteristics on Various FSG Capping Layers (FSG Capping 레이어들에서의 플루오르 침투 특성)

  • High density plasma fluorinated silicate glass (HDP FSG) is used as a gap fill film for metal-to-metal space because of many advantages. However, FSG films can cause critical problems such as bonding issue of top metal at package, metal contamination, metal peel-off, and so on. It is known that these problems are caused by fluorine penetration out of FSG film. To prevent it, FSG capping layers such like SRO (Silicon Rich Oxide) are needed. In this study, their characteristics and a capability to block fluorine penetration for various FSG capping layers are investigated. Normal stress and High stress due to denser film. While heat treatment to PETEOS caused lower blocking against fluorine penetration, it had insignificant effect on SiN. Compared with other layers, SRO using ARC chamber and SiN were shown a better performance to block fluorine penetration.

Dry Etching Properties of HfAlO3 Thin Film with Addition O2 gas Using a High Density Plasma

  • We investigated the etching characteristics of $HfAlO_3$ thin films in $O_2/Cl_2/Ar$ and $O_2/BCl_3/Ar$ gas, using a high-density plasma (HDP) system. The etch rates of the $HfAlO_3$ thin film obtained were 30.1 nm/min and 36 nm/min in the $O_2/Cl_2/Ar$ (3:4:16 sccm) and $O_2/BCl_3/Ar$ (3:4:16 sccm) gas mixtures, respectively. At the same time, the etch rate was measured as a function of the etching parameter, namely as the process pressure. The chemical states on the surface of the etched $HfAlO_3$ thin films were investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Auger electron spectroscopy was used for elemental analysis on the surface of the etched $HfAlO_3$ thin films. These surface analyses confirm that the surface of the etched $HfAlO_3$ thin film is formed with nonvolatile by-product. Also, Cl-O can protect the sidewall due to additional $O_2$.

  • This study deals with effect of plasma treatment on the properties of unidirectional ligno cellulosic fabric Hildegardia Populofolia (HDP) fabric. Thermal stability of the fabric was determined by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and Thermo gravimetric analysis (DSC). Morphological properties was analyzed by SEM analysis and found that the surface was rough upon plasma treatment which provides good interfacial adhesion with matrix during composite fabrication. Thermal stability and mechanical properties of the plasma treated fabric slightly increases compare to alkali and untreated fabric. It was observed that tensile properties of the fabric increases upon plasma treatment due to the formation of rough surface. SEM analysis indicates formation of rough surface on plasma treatment which helps in increasing the interfacial interaction between the matrix (hydrophobic) and fabric (hydrophilic).

  • In this paper we studied the application of inter-poly dielectric as silicon dioxide-like film was deposited by the higher energy assisting deposition (HEAD) process the modified CCP process, which enables low temperature (LT) process and improving film density. In these experiments the relative hydrogen concentration of $SiO_2$-like films deposited on silicon substrate were analyzed by the secondary ion mass spectroscopy (SIMS) and it was shown that our lower hydrogenated oxide (LHO) film prepared by HEAD process with the precursor contained the siloxane species had lower hydrogen concentration, $8{\times}10{\cdot}^{22}cm{\cdot}^3$ than that of the commercial undoped silicon glass (USG) film ($1{\times}10{\cdot}^{21}cm{\cdot}^3$) prepared by the high density plasma-chemical vapor deposition (HDP-CVD). We consider that the LHO film deposited by HEAD process used as high performance material into Flash memory devices.

The Dry Etching Properties of TaN Thin Film Using Inductively Coupled Plasma

  • We investigated the etching characteristics of TaN thin films in an $O_2/BCl_3/Cl_2/Ar$ gas using a high density plasma (HDP) system. A maximum etch rate of the TaN thin films and the selectivity of TaN to $SiO_2$ were obtained as 172.7 nm/min and 6.27 in the $O_2/BCl_3/Cl_2/Ar$ (3:2:18:10 sccm) gas mixture, respectively. At the same time, the etch rate was measured as a function of the etching parameters, such as the RF power, DC-bias voltage, and process pressure. The chemical states on the surface of the etched TaN thin films were investigated using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Auger electron spectroscopy was used for elemental analysis on the surface of the etched TaN thin films. These surface analyses confirm that the surface of the etched TaN thin film is formed with the nonvolatile by-product.

  • 의학기술의 발전과 소득수준의 증가에 따라 사라들은 단순히 전염병을 예방하거나 질병을 치료하는 수준이 아닌 '건강하게 오래 사는 것'을 원하면서 치료에서 예방으로, 의료 공급자 중심에서 의료 소비자 중심으로 의료산업의 패러다임이 변화하고 있다. 이에 건강을 미리 지키는 예방적 개념의 웰니스 산업의 빠르게 성장하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 Continua Health Alliance(CHA) 에서 개인건강기기에 반드시 포함해야 하는 표준인 ISO/IEEE 11073을 활용하고 Bluetooth HDP를 통해 의료기기와 스마트TV간 연결을 확보하고 지속적으로 개인의 건강을 체크할 수 있는 건강관리 모니터링 앱을 통한 일상생활 속에서의 건강관리를 위한 스마트TV를 기반의 웰니스 솔루션을 설계하였다.

Study on Fluorine Penetration of Capping Layers using FTIR analysis (FTIR을 이용한 캐핑레이어의 플루오르 침투 특성 연구)

  • To fill the gap of films for metal-to-metal space High density plasma fluorinated silicate glass (HDP FSG) is used due to various advantages. However, FSG films can have critical drawbacks such as bonding issue of top metal at package, metal contamination, metal peel-off, and so on. These problems are generally caused by fluorine penetration out of FSG film. Hence, FSG capping layers such like SRO(Silicon Rich Oxide) are required to prevent flourine penetration. In this study, their characteristics and a capability to block fluorine penetration for various FSG capping layers are investigated through FTIR analysis. FTIR graphs of both SRO using ARC chamber and SiN show that clear Si-H bonds at $2175{\sim}2300cm^{-1}$. Thus, Si-H bond at $2175{\sim}2300cm^{-1}$ of FSG capping layers lays a key role to block fluorine penetration as well as dangling bond.

  • Hypertension is one of the major causes of death in the world as it is related with cardiovascular or cerebrovascular disease, so it is needed to provide continuos management for blood pressure. This study selected Health Level 7 Fast Health Interoperability Resources (HL7 FHIR) as a bio-signal data exchange service model that can provide constant blood pressure management in the rapidly growing mobile health care environment. The HL7 FHIR framework developed communicates with the IEEE 11073-10407 Personal Health Device (PHD) protocol through the bluetooth Health Device Profile (HDP) between the manager (smart phone) and the agent (hemomanometer) and acquires information about blood pressure. According to the test results, it performed its tasks successfully including hypertension patients' blood pressure monitoring, management on measured records, generation of document, or transmission of measured information. Because in the actual, clinical environment, it is possible to transmit measured information through the TCP/IP protocol, it will be needed to conduct constant research on it and vitalize it in the field of mobile health care afterwards.
