The Modified Block Matching Algorithm for a Hand Tracking of an HCI system (HCI 시스템의 손 추적을 위한 수정 블록 정합 알고리즘)

  • A GUI (graphical user interface) has been a dominant platform for HCI (human computer interaction). A GUI - based interaction has made computers simpler and easier to use. The GUI - based interaction, however, does not easily support the range of interaction necessary to meet users' needs that are natural. intuitive, and adaptive. In this paper, the modified BMA (block matching algorithm) is proposed to track a hand in a sequence of an image and to recognize it in each video frame in order to replace a mouse with a pointing device for a virtual reality. The HCI system with 30 frames per second is realized in this paper. The modified BMA is proposed to estimate a position of the hand and segmentation with an orientation of motion and a color distribution of the hand region for real - time processing. The experimental result shows that the modified BMA with the YCbCr (luminance Y, component blue, component red) color coordinate guarantees the real - time processing and the recognition rate. The hand tracking by the modified BMA can be applied to a virtual reclity or a game or an HCI system for the disable.

  • Recently, as the business using IT has increased rapidly, a lot of budget is required to operate and manage the complex IT infrastructure. There is a need for a new IT infrastructure technology that can effectively and reduce costs. In this paper, we introduce CI(Converge Infrastructure) and HCI(Hyper Converge Infrastructure) methods, which are IT infrastructure methods for simplifying information systems and reducing operational management efficiency and cost. In addition, it proposes an information system using the HCI method, a new IT infrastructure technology, and a plan to establish a disaster recovery system to provide continuity of service in the event of a disaster or failure. In addition to the introduction of major technologies for using the HCI method, the area, power consumption, and operational efficiency of the information system before and after the introduction of HCI are compared and analyzed.

Micromorphometric Influence of Anodic oxidation surface implant conditioned with tetracycline-HCI (양극 산화 임플란트 표면 구조에 대한 염산 테트라싸이클린의 영향)

  • The present study was performed to evaluate the effect of Tetracycline-HCI on the change of implant surface microstructure according to application time. Anodic oxidation surface were utilized. Implant surface was rubbed with 50mg/ml Tetracycline-HCI solution for ${\frac{1}{2}}min.$, 1min., $1{\frac{1}{2}}min.$, 2min., $2{\frac{1}{2}}min.$, and 3min. respectively in the test group. Then, specimens were processed for Ra Value test and scanning electron microscopic observation. The results of this study were as follows. 1. The anodic oxidation surface roughness tests don't show significant difference on conditioning with saline and Tetracycline-HCI. 2. The anodic oxidized surfaces showed the craterous structures. The surface conditioning with Tetracycline-HCI didn't influence on its micro-morphology. In conclusion, Anodic oxidation implant surface is stable to detoxificate with 50mg/ml Tetracycline-HCI of implant surface.

  • Recently, liquid chromatography (LC) has been used more frequently to separate drugs and natural substances. Especially, to selection of the solutes from the products, the operation condition of analytical chromatography should be necessarily determined. So accurate computer modeling and simulation of chromatographic performances has become a necessary part of the development and design of processes. High-Purity Separation Lab. Inha University developed the resulting HCI software for the purpose of the optimization of chromatographic performances. The HCI program was utilized to find the optimum operating condition more accurately and rapidly, reducing the number of many possible experiments. The elution profiles were calculated by the plate theory based on the three retention mechanism of capacity factor.

  • In this paper, an EMG (Electromyography) sensor for utilizing an EMGl-based HCI are described. The EMG sensor is a dry type and has high gain (1000-10000). Therefore, this sensor can be properly applied to HCI devices using EMG signals without additional amplification circuit.

  • 3,4-Difluoroamphetamine.HCI and 5,6-difluoro-2-aminoindan.HCI were synthesized as serotonergic agents. 3,4-Difluorobenzaldehyde was condensed with nitroethane and reduced with $LiAlH_4$ to obtain 3,4-difluoroamphetamine. And 5,6-difluoro-2-aminoidan.HCI was synthesizd through reactions of condensation with malonic acid, 10% Pd-C reduction, cyclization with polyphosphoric acid, oximation and catalytic hydrogenation.

  • HCI 연구의 주된 주제는 인간중심의 상호작용 환경의 개발이다. 이러한 개발과정에서 새로운 인터페이스 환경이 실생활에 어떠한 기능적 효용가치를 가져다 줄 것인가에 관한 문제가 중요하게 고려되어야 한다. 이를 위해 실질적인 적용사례 구축을 통해 효용성을 입증하는 것이 필요하다. 또한, 최근의 HCI는 기존의 인터페이스 수단을 대체하는 것을 목적으로 개발되어 왔으나, 보다 발전된 접근방법으로서 기존의 인터페이스가 소화할 수 없었던 상호작용의 의미론적 요소들을 다루는 것이 필요할 것이다. 이러한 맥락에서 기존 컴퓨팅 환경에서의 문제해결 프로세스의 한 예를 고찰하고 이것이 새로운 HCI환경에서 효과적인 방법으로 어떻게 구현될 수 있는가에 대한 구체적인 사례를 연구하였다. 본 논문은 문제해결의 한 예로서, '복수개의 결정사안 중 최선의 방안을 도출하는 의사결정과정'에서 HCI를 접목한 효과적인 의사결정 프로세스를 제안하고 이의 효용성을 검증한다. 이러한 의사결정 방법론으로 기존에 사용되는 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)가 대표적이다. 일반적으로 AHP는 각 고려인자간 쌍대비교(pairwise comparisons)를 통해 중요도를 평가하는 과정을 포함한다. 이 과정을 통해 각각의 인자간의 쌍대비교치를 결정한 후 일련의 계산과정을 거쳐 그 결과를 도출한다. 이 작업은 통상적인 데스크탑 컴퓨터 환경에서 이루어진다. 본 논문에서는 각 인자간의 쌍대비교를 통한 우선순위를 결정하는 과정에서 새로운 인터페이스 환경의 적용을 위한 효과적인 연산 알고리즘을 제안하고 이의 효용성을 검증한다. 또한 의사결정 과정의 직관적 가시화를 위해 기본적인 프리미티므 도형으로 이루어진 그래픽 인터페이스를 구현하고, 기존의 의사결정 과정과 그 효용성을 비교한다.
