The Purpose of this study were to study Retro-hat design. To do these purposees, the focus of theoretical approach was literature research, and hat design was attempted on the basis of the research. The focus of theoretical background was on previous research and fashion-related literature. Photo materials to analyze retro-hat design is Haute-Couture collection in paris from the 1990's to 2004 and some designer's collections. Then Retro hat design is 85 in 1,381 hat photos. The results obtained through this process were as follows. In the hats of Retro, the past style such as an Egyptian wig, a snake-shaped hat in Crete, a Medieval knight hat, Liripipe, Tricorn hat, or Bicorn hat was reinterpreted and expressed. Since 2003, Retro characteristics has became strong and frequent. By designing a hat on the basis of the direction of hat design, this study intended to find out the development direction of hat design.

This study examined the effects of two kinds of functional sun hats through a head-manikin test and a climatic chamber trial for farm workers in summer. Experiment was composed of four conditions. The first condition was the condition without any hat (Control). The second was the condition with a sun hat on the market (Hat A). The third was the condition with a functional sun hat made of reflective fabric (Hat B). The last was the condition with a functional sun hat having a ventilating structure as well as reflective fabric (Hat C). For the subjects in the climatic chamber trials, 12 healthy males volunteered. Air temperature, relative humidity and globe temperature in the chamber was maintained at $33{\pm}0.5^{\circ}C,\;65{\pm}5%RH\;and\;39{\pm}1^{\circ}C\;(WBGT\;33^{\circ}C)$. Subjects did a simulated red pepper-work (50-min work and 10-min rest, twice repetition) for 120 min. As the result of head-manikin test, the surface temperature on middle of back-neck was the lowest in Hat B of four conditions and the surface temperature on top of head was the lowest in Hat C. As the result of climatic chamber trials, there were apparent differences between with (Hat A, Hat B, Hat C) and without a sun hat (Control). In rectal temperature ($T_{re}$), mean skin temperature ($\={T}_{sk}$), heart rate (HR), total sweat rate (TSR), The physiological heat strain was less in the condition with hats than in the condition without a sun hat. As the increasing rate in Tre, Hat B is the most effective hat for alleviation heat strain. As the subjective responses, Hat B was the most effective hat for thermal comfort even though the difference was not significant. Hat C was less effective than Hat B and the reason might be the increase of weight due to inserting the ventilating structure.

Objectives : Cervus Elaphus(CE) has been used to medication for ischemic stroke in the Oriental Medicine. So this study was planned to investigate the effects of CE herbal acupuncture therapy(CE-HAT) on the focal ischemia-induced by intraluminal filament insertion in the rats. Materials and methods : The focal ischemia was induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion for 2hours. The groups divided into 6 groups, normal(intachess group), control(no theray group after ischemia-induced), CE-HAT1(Cervus Elaphus-herbal acupuncture therapy group at LR1, HT9 after ischemia-induced), CE-HAT2(Cervus Elaphus-herbal acupuncture therapy group at LU8, KI7 after ischemia-induced), CE-HAT3(Cervus Elaphus-herbal acupuncture therapy group at LR1, HT9, LU8, KI7 after ischemia-induced), CE-HAT4(Cervus Elaphus-herbal acupuncture therapy group at LR1, HT9, HT3, KI10 after ischemia-induced). CE-HAT was carried out during 3 weeks after focal ischemia-induced. Eight-arm radial maze was used for the behavioral task and neuropretective effect of CE-HAT was observed by Cresyl violet, AchE, ChAT-stain. Results : The error rate in the eight-arm radial maze task was significantly decreased in CE-HAT1, CE-HAT2, CE-HAT4 on 3days, CE-HAT4 on 4days, CE-HAT2, CE-HAT4 on 5days, CE-HAT3, CE-HAT4 on 6days. The rate of correct choice was significantly increased in CE-HAT4. The density of neurons in the hippocampal CA1 was significantly increased in CE-HAT1, CE-HAT2, CE-HAT3, CE-HAT4, compared to control group. The density of ChAT in the hippocampal CA1 was significantly increase in CE-HAT4. The density of ChAT in the hippocampal CA1 was significantly increased CE-HAT1. Conrlusions : These results suggest that the Cervus Elaphus-herbal acupuncture therapy could be used as a medication for controlling the stroke induced by deficiency.

This paper is extended the meaning and period of CONICAL HAT. That is, the race in Central Asia and Western Asia have worn the conical hat before Scytian appeared. One in conical hat puts on the clothes of two-piece style and has the lifestyle. a horse riding and nomadism. Besides the race originate into the Indo-European language family. On the whole the conical hat has relations with the region and is classified into two groups. Scytian and Klin-Yar style. First. the Scytian style of low hat forms the seam of two-piece and is discovered in Southern Russia. Central Asia and East-Northern Asia. Second, the Klin-Yar style of high hat forms the one piece and generally is discovered in Asia Minor and west of Altai. Until now the moaning of the conical hat has focused on the military. However, one in Central Asia and Western Asia is mostly a king. nobility and god. Therefore, in addition to the meaning of military. I estimate that the conical hat may be expressed as the noble status.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Shirts-color(Different-color, Same-color) and Hat color(Red, Blue, Beige, Grey), Hat design (Beret, Cloche, Bowler, and Capeline) on impression formation. The experimental materials developed for this study were a set of stimulus and response scales. The 7-point semantic thirty stimuli color pictures of various combination of hair length, hair style, and type of hat design were manipulated by computer drawing. The subjects were 360 undergraduates living in Seoul, Kyunggi and Kyungnam. The experimental design was composed of 3 factorial designs. The result of the study can be summarized as follows; Impression factor of the stimulus consisted of the 5 different dimensions. (concentration of attention, attractiveness, gracefulness, activity, tenderness). Concentration of attention, elegance, and tenderness in case of a hat as a clue, elegance and tenderness in case of the color of upper clothes as a clue, and all the factors except attractiveness and elegance in case of the type of hat as a clue were significant factors to differences of appearance. In regarding the effect of interaction between each variable, the combination of Hat color and Shirts-color had significant effects on tenderness, Hat color and type of hat design on concentration of attention, elegance and activity.

In this study, the axial collapse tests were performed under either static (or quasi-static) or impact loads with several collapse velocities based on the expectation that para-closed sections of the front-end side members (spot welded hat and double hat shaped section members) would show quite different collapse characteristics from those for seamless section. The test results showed that both of the hat and double hat shaped section members failed in the stable sequential collapse mode in the static or quasi-static collapse tests, while the double hat shaped section members underwent the unstable collapse mode especially when the impact velocity is high. The mean collapse loads in the hat shaped section members increase with collapse velocity for all the cases of the static, quasi-static, and impact collapse tests. In the double hat shaped section members, however, the mean collapse loads decrease with increase in collapse velocity in the impact tests.

The experimental materials developed for this study were a set of stimulus and response scales(7-point scale semantic). Thirty stimuli color pictures of various combination of hair length, hair style, and type of hat design were manipulated by computer drawing. The subjects were 360 undergraduate students in Seoul, Kyunggi and Kyungnam. The result of this study can be summarized as follows; Impression factor of the stimulus consisted of the 5 different dimensions (attractiveness, gracefulness, brightness, visibilty, cuteness). Each impression of type of hat design, along with hair-style, hair-length had significant effects on gracefulness, visibilty and cuteness. Each impression of hair-style, hair-length, along with type of hat design had significant effects on gracefulness, brightness, visibilty and cuteness. Thus type of hat design, hair-style and hair-length have a significant influence on the impression evaluation of hat's wearer.

To reduce farmer's stress from solar radiation and ultraviolet radiation(UV), the sunshade hat with a large brim and special structure for ventilation was developed and tested with manikin heads outdoors at previous study(Kim and Choi, 2002). To evaluate the protection efficiency of the sunshade hat, human trial test was performed at outdoors. The results were as follows; Skin temperatures(7 sites), heart rate, temperature inside the hats, temperature and relative humidity inside clothing on the back in wearing developed sunshade hat were significantly lower than those in wearing the controlled hat. In subjective sensation, subjects answered to feel significantly hotter, more humid and more uncomfortable in wearing the controlled hat. But relative humidity inside the hats was significantly higher in wearing developed hat. In rectal temperature, there were no significant differences between two hats.

Recently, the speed reducer which is applied to robot has conducted a steady development on developments in the field of robotics. Among them, Harmonic drive is a high-stiffness, precision-controlled speed reducer and has high precision, compact, light in weight and high-reduction-ratio characteristics. The feature of flexspline of Harmonic Drive are two types. One is Cup type, the other is Silk Hat type. Silk Hat type is used in case of lighter and more compact in spatial because Silk Hat Type is hollow. According to the shape of silk hat, diaphragm is fractured because stress is concentrated. In this paper, the various shapes of silk hat are suggested to improve the durability of silk hat. And in the case of each shape, a study on stress and deformation using the FEM tool was carried out on flexspline.

에지는 영상의 가장 기본적인 특징을 나타내며, 에지 검출은 영상처리 분야 및 컴퓨터 비전 영역에서 매우 중요한 역할을 한다. 이러한 에지를 검출하기 위한 연구들이 국내 외적으로 많이 수행되고 있다. 기존의 에지 검출 방법에는 로버츠, 소벨, 프리윗, 라플라시안 등 고정된 값의 마스크를 사용하는 방법들이 있으며 모폴로지 처리 기술 가운데 팽창과 침식을 이용하는 모폴로지 그라디언트 방법 등이 있다. 그러나 이러한 방법들은 대각선 방향이나 완만한 영상의 변화가 있는 경우 에지 검출이 잘 되지 않는 문제가 있다 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 경우에도 에지 검출이 잘 되는 변형된 top-hat 및 bottom-hat 변환 방식의 에지 검출 알고리듬을 제안하였다. 제안된 알고리듬을 기존의 방법들과 비교하여 에지 검출 영상을 제시하였으며 코사인 기반의 유사도를 사용하여 성능 및 유사성을 평가하였다.
