1인칭 시점 모바일 게임의 한 손 조작 방식 제안 (A Proposal for One-Hand Control Schemes of First-Person Viewpoint Mobile Games)

  • 본 논문에서는 1인칭 시점 모바일 게임에서 사용 가능한 세 종류의 한 손 조작 방식들을 제안하고 이들을 평가한다. 기존의 모바일 게임들은 화면에 가상 컨트롤러를 디스플레이하여 사용자에게 양손으로 조작하도록 하는 방식을 많이 사용하고 있다. 1인칭 시점 모바일 게임의 경우, 시점 이동을 위해 필요한 기능들이 적기 때문에 한 손을 이용한 조작 방식이 가능하다. 본 논문은 1인칭 시점 이동과 회전을 위한 세 종류의 한 손 조작 방식을 제안하고, AHP 방법으로 평가한다. 실험을 통해, 1인칭 시점 모바일 게임의 경우에는 양손 조작 방식보다 한 손 조작 방식이 사용자에게 유용함을 증명한다.

Research on the Quality of Life of the Parents by Functions, Activities, Participation, and Environmental Factors of Children with Cerebral Palsy Using ICF-CY Checklist

  • Purpose: This study examined whether the quality of life of parents of children with cerebral palsy is affected by the functions, activities, participation, and environmental factors using an ICF-CY check list. Methods: This study recruited in 26 parents of children with cerebral palsy. The functions, activities, participation, and environmental factors of the children were evaluated using ICF-CY checklist. To measure the quality of life of parents, this study used world health organization quality of life (WHOQOL-BREF), which was composed of a total of 26 questions. The GMFCS (gross motor function classification system) was used to assess the degree of disability in the children. Multiple regression analysis was performed to examine the effects of the ICF-CY checklist on the quality of life. Correlation analysis was performed to examine the correlation between GMFCS and WHOQOL. Results: The functions, activities, participation, and environmental factors were significantly different from WHOQOL-BREF. On the other hand, the contextual factor showed a significant difference in the neuromusculoskeletal and movement-related functions (b7), and service, systems, and policies (e5)(p<0.05). Conclusion: This study suggests that the functions and environmental factors affect the quality of life of parents of children with cerebral palsy. Therefore, these findings suggest that contextual factors, such as neuromusculoskeletal and movement-related functions (b7), and service, systems and policies (e5), which can be facilitators, should be considered for improving the quality of life of parents of children with cerebral palsy.

자세변화에 대한 뇌성마비아동(경직성 양마비)의 손 기능 차이 비교와 제변수와의 상관관계의 연구 (The Effect of Positioning on the Hand Function and Correlation of Variable in Children with Cerebral Palsy(Spastic Diplegia))

  • The purpose of this study was to compare and evaluate various hand functions in the most common position (chair sitting, standing, floor sitting) used by cerebral palsied children with spastic diplegia. The results, analysed statistically, could be useful in suggesting treatment strategy for the improvement of hand function in such patient. For this study, 27 children mild or moderate spastic diplegia were chosen. They were patients of the Rehabilitation Hospital, Yonsei University Medical Center. Both dominant and nondominant hands were tested by the Box and Block Test. Bilateral hand function was tested by bead striding and card sorting activities. Collected data was analysed using univariate correlation analysis and MANOVA. Results were as follows: 1) In chair sitting there was a significant positive correlation between dominant hand scores in the Bloc and Box Test and chronological age, gestation period, and time of treatment initiation. In bilateral hand function, card sorting scores correlated positively with time of treatment initiation. 2) In standing, there was a significantly positive correlation between dominant hand scores in the Block and Box Test and time of treatment initiation. 3) In floor sitting, there was a significantly positive correlation between the dominance hand scores in the Block and Box Test and the tine of treatment initiation. Bead stringing, a bilateral hand activity, correlated positively with gestation period and birth weight but negatively with the postnatal incubation period. 4) That score of children who walked showed no significant difference in any of the three postures. 5) Highest test scores in children who could nat walk were in the Box and Block Test for nondominant hand in bead stringing for bilateral hand function. There scores occurred with the children in thee chair sitting posture. The results showed that, in order to improve hand function in children with spastic diplegia, it is necessary to maintain a well supported upright trunk posture with variations allowed for relevance to the chosen position of thee improvements hand activity being performed.

Effects of Slime Program on Hand Function and Problem Behavior of Adults with Intellectual Disabilities

  • Purpose: This study examined the effects of training using the slime on the hand function and problem behavior in adults with intellectual disabilities. Methods: Five adults with intellectual disabilities who were judged as Level 1 or Level 2 were selected. The training consisted of one session (50 min)/day, one day/week for 10 weeks (preparatory activities: 5 min, slime activities: 40 min, finishing activities: 5 min) The functions of the hand (Purdue Pegboard Test [PPT], grip strength test [GST]) and problem behavior (Korean Behavior Problems Inventory [KBPI]) were assessed three times (first assessment; pre, second assessment; post-5 weeks, third assessment; post-10 weeks). Wilcoxon signed-rank tests were used to analyze changes in the subjects' performance before and after the intervention. Results: In the PPT, the use of the non-dominant hand was increased significantly (p<0.05). No significant differences were observed in the remaining results, but the mean value increased. In addition, although the problem behavior was not statistically significant, an increase in the problem behavior score was noted. Conclusion: The training using the slime for adults with intellectual disabilities is effective in hand function improvement and reducing problem behavior.

The Effects of Agricultural Experience Program on Agricultural Literacy and Hand Function Improvement of Adolescents Living in Self-reliance Residence Hall

  • Background and objective: This study was conducted to increase understanding of agriculture through agricultural experience programs for adolescents living in self-reliance residence hall, and to investigate changes in work performance ability through changes in hand function. Methods: There were 11 subjects, and the average age was 18.2 years, all males without disabilities. The agricultural experience program consists of a total of 10 sessions including orientation and watching videos on future agriculture, creating vegetable gardens, planting, managing each crop, harvesting, visiting the processing room, and selling at a local food store. Results: The change in agricultural literacy by the agricultural experience program positively improved from a score of 113.73 to 127.91 (p = .008). The changes by sub-item are as follows. The value and safety of agri-foods (p = .020) and agriculture and natural environment (p = .007) were significantly improved. The function and value of rural areas (p = .050), production of agricultural products (p = .160), processing and distribution of agricultural products (p = .248), and agricultural policies (p = .058) were not significantly changed. The simple function of the hands was measured by the number of pegs inserted during 30 seconds, and the assembly function was measured by the number of pegs inserted during 60 seconds. In the case of simple function, the dominant hand was improved from 14.82 to 15.83 (p = .014), andthe non-dominant hand was also significantly improved from 13.79 to 15.01 (p = .002). There was no significant improvement in the simple function (p = .153) and assembly function (p = .770) of both hands. Conclusion: It is considered that the agricultural experience program will enable youths living in self-reliance residence halls to enhance their understanding of agriculture as an occupation, and enable them to play a role as wise consumers by positively affecting improvements in their agricultural literacy and simple hand functions.

CAD 형상을 활용한 설계 민감도 해석 (Shape Design Sensitivity Analysis using Isogeometric Approach)

  • A variational formulation for plane elasticity problems is derived based on an isogeometric approach. The isogeometric analysis is an emerging methodology such that the basis functions in analysis domain arc generated directly from NURBS (Non-Uniform Rational B-Splines) geometry. Thus. the solution space can be represented in terms of the same functions to represent the geometry. The coefficients of basis functions or the control variables play the role of degrees-of-freedom. Furthermore, due to h-. p-, and k-refinement schemes, the high order geometric features can be described exactly and easily without tedious re-meshing process. The isogeometric sensitivity analysis method enables us to analyze arbitrarily shaped structures without re-meshing. Also, it provides a precise construction method of finite element model to exactly represent geometry using B-spline base functions in CAD geometric modeling. To obtain precise shape sensitivity, the normal and curvature of boundary should be taken into account in the shape sensitivity expressions. However, in conventional finite element methods, the normal information is inaccurate and the curvature is generally missing due to the use of linear interpolation functions. A continuum-based adjoint sensitivity analysis method using the isogeometric approach is derived for the plane elasticity problems. The conventional shape optimization using the finite element method has some difficulties in the parameterization of boundary. In isogeometric analysis, however, the geometric properties arc already embedded in the B-spline shape functions and control points. The perturbation of control points in isogeometric analysis automatically results in shape changes. Using the conventional finite clement method, the inter-element continuity of the design space is not guaranteed so that the normal vector and curvature arc not accurate enough. On tile other hand, in isogeometric analysis, these values arc continuous over the whole design space so that accurate shape sensitivity can be obtained. Through numerical examples, the developed isogeometric sensitivity analysis method is verified to show excellent agreement with finite difference sensitivity.

동작관찰 디지털콘텐츠 활용교육과 과제 지향적 작업치료의 융합이 뇌졸중 환자의 상지기능과 일상생활수행에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Convergency : Using Digital Contents Action Observation Educations and Task-Oriented Occupational Therapy on Activity of Daily Living and Upper Extremity Function in Patients With Stroke)

  • 본 연구는 뇌졸중환자를 대상으로 동작관찰 디지털콘텐츠 활용교육과 동작관찰 없이 과제 지향적 작업치료를 실시하여, 뇌졸중 환자의 상지기능과 일상생활수행력에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보았다. 뇌졸중 환자 30명을 대상으로 무작위로 실험군(동작관찰)과 대조군(과제 지향적 작업치료)으로 각각 15명씩 나누어 1주일에 5회 총 30분씩 5주간 실시하였다. 치료 중재 전과 후의 마비측 상지기능을 알아보기 위해, Jebsen-Taylor Hand Function Test (JTHFT)과 Box and Block Test (BBT)를 실시하였고, 일상생활수행을 비교하기 위해 Korean-Version of Modified Barthel Index (KMBI)를 실시하였다. 실시 결과 두 그룹 모두에서 상지기능 및 일상생활수행은 증가하였고, 그룹간의 차이는 보이지 않았다. 그러므로 동작관찰 디지털콘텐츠 활용교육과 과제 지향적 작업치료는 뇌졸중환자의 상지기능 및 일상생활수행에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

수정된 강제유도 운동치료가 편마비를 가진 뇌성마비 아동의 상지 기능에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Modified Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy on Hand Functions of Children With Hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy)

  • 목적 : 본 연구의 목적은 수정된 강제유도 운동치료가 편마비 뇌성마비 아동의 상지 기능과 관련된 요소들에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 연구방법 : 8세에서 11세 사이의 편마비 뇌성마비 아동 4명을 대상으로 실험을 실시하였다. 수정된 강제유도 운동치료는 하루 5시간 동안의 건측 제한과 이 시간동안 2시간의 환측의 집중적인 과제훈련, 주당 5회, 총 8주를 실시하였고, 수정된 강제유도 운동치료가 상지 기능과 관련된 요소에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위하여 Jebsen Hand Function Test와 3차원 동작분석을 실시하였다. Jebsen Hand Function Test는 실험 2주마다 반복 측정을 실시하였고, 3차원 동작분석의 경우에는 실험 전과 실험 후에 측정을 실시하였다. 결과 : 수정된 강제유도 운동치료 후, Jebsen Hand Function Test에서는 하위 검사 모두에서 경과 시간의 유의한 감소가 나타났고(p<.05), 3차원 동작 분석 결과 수정된 강제유도 운동치료 적용 전에 비해 8주의 경과 후 손바닥 두드리기 검사와 검지 두드리기 검사에서 통계학적으로 유의한 감소가 나타났고(p<.05), 아래팔의 회내와 회외 운동에서는 수정된 강제유도 운동치료 적용 전에 비해 8주의 경과 후 통계학적으로 유의한 증가가 나타났다. 결론 : 본 연구의 결과를 통하여, 수정된 강제유도 운동치료는 편마비 뇌성마비 아동의 상지 기능과 관련된 요소를 효과적인 치료하는 방법임을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 향후 수정된 강제유도 운동치료를 위한 개별화된 적용 방법과 개인의 상태에 따른 다양한 적용 기간의 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

사용자의 신체적 특징과 뇌파 집중 지수를 이용한 가상 모니터 개념의 NUI/NUX (NUI/NUX of the Virtual Monitor Concept using the Concentration Indicator and the User's Physical Features)

  • Human-Computer Interaction(HCI)에 대한 관심도가 높이지면서, HCI에 대한 연구도 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이와 더불어 사용자의 몸짓이나 음성을 이용하는 Natural User Interface/Natural User eXperience(NUI/NUX)에 대한 연구도 활발히 진행되고 있다. NUI/NUX의 경우, 제스처 인식이나 음성 인식 등의 인식 알고리즘이 필요하다. 하지만 이러한 인식 알고리즘은 전처리, 정규화, 특징 추출과 같은 단계를 거쳐야하기 때문에 구현이 복잡하고, 트레이닝에 많은 시간을 투자해야 한다는 단점이 있다. 최근에는 NUI/NUX 개발 도구로 Microsoft 사의 Kinect가 개발되어 개발자와 일반인들에게 많은 관심을 받고 있고, 이를 이용한 다양한 연구가 진행 중에 있다. 본 저자들의 이전 연구에서도 사용자의 신체적 특징을 이용하여 뛰어난 직관성을 가진 핸드 마우스를 구현하였다. 하지만 마우스의 움직임이 부자연스럽고 정확도가 낮아 사용자가 사용하기 다소 어려웠다는 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 Kinect를 통해 사용자의 신체적 특징을 실시간으로 추출하고, 이를 이용해 가상 모니터라는 새로운 개념을 추가한 핸드 마우스 인터페이스를 설계하고 구현하였다. 가상 모니터는 사용자의 손으로 마우스를 제어할 수 있는 가상의 공간을 의미한다. 이를 통해 가상 모니터 상의 손의 좌표를 실제 모니터 상의 좌표로 정확하게 매핑(mapping)이 가능하다. 가상 모니터를 사용함으로써 이전 연구의 장점인 직관성을 유지하고, 단점인 정확도를 높일 수 있다. 추가적으로 뇌파 집중 지표를 이용해 사용자의 불필요한 행동을 인식하여 핸드 마우스 인터페이스의 정확도를 높였다. 제안하는 핸드 마우스의 직관성과 정확성을 평가하기 위하여 10대부터 50대까지 50명에게 실험을 하였다. 직관성 실험 결과로 84%가 1분 이내에 사용방법을 터득하였다. 또한 동일한 피실험자에게 일반적인 마우스 기능(드래그, 클릭, 더블클릭)에 대해 정확성 실험을 한 결과로 드래그 80.9%, 클릭 80%, 더블 클릭 76.7%의 정확성을 보였다. 실험 결과를 통해 제안하는 핸드 마우스 인터페이스의 직관성과 정확성을 확인하였으며, 미래에 손으로 시스템이나 소프트웨어를 제어하는 인터페이스의 좋은 예시가 될 것으로 기대된다.

  • As the significance of quality in the sense of customer satisfaction is growing, the management of quality becomes one of the main interests in the manufacturing systems research systems research. This paper presents the concept of quality-oriented manufacturing system which is composed of a business process domain and a quality domain. In the business process domain, business functions are integrated by traditional design and manufacturing databases on the one hand, and a quality management system is interlinked to them via several quality modules on the other hand. Quality information model connects the business process dimain with the qualitydomain where various types of qualitydata are stored in the form of quality database.
