  • H.264/AVC (baseline profile)은 MPEG-4 (simple profile)에 비하여 약 2배정도 향상된 압축 성능을 나타내는 것으로 알려져, DMB 방송, DVD 등에 사용될 예정이며, 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스에 사용될 차세대 비디오 압축 표준으로 인정받고 있다 하지만, 부호기의 복잡도는 MPEG-4 simple profile에 비하여 16배정도 높아져서, 실시간을 요구하는 서비스, 또는 임베디드 환경을 갖는 서비스에 사용하는데 심각한 제약을 갖는다. 따라서, 기존의 표준 코덱들을 대체하여 다양한 통신 환경에서 향상된 화질의 비디오 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 코덱의 복잡도 개선이 매우 중요하다. 본 논문은 H.264/AVC 비디오 코덱을 임베디드 환경을 갖는 통신 서비스에 적용하기 위하여 코덱의 복잡도를 개선하기 위한 방법을 제시한다

  • 본 논문에서는 AMBA 기반으로 사용될 수 있는 H.264용 High Profile IP를 제안한다. 설계된 모듈은 한 매크로 블록 당 최대 306 cycle내에 동작한다. 제안된 Encoder 구조를 검증하기 위하여 JM 13.2부터 reference C를 개발하였으며, reference C로부터 test vector를 추출하여 설계 된 회로를 검증하였다. 우리는 Hardware cost를 줄이기 위하여 plan mode를 제거하였고, SAD 계산 방법을 사용하여 Hardware cost와 cycle을 줄이는 방법을 채택하였다. 제안된 회로는 133MHz clock에서 동작하며, 합성결과 TSMC 0.18um 공정에 램 포함 25만 gate크기이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 AMBA 기반으로 사용될 수 있는 H.264용 High Profile Intra Prediction을 구조를 제안한다. 설계된 모듈은 한 매크로 블록 당 최대 306 cycle내에 동작한다. 제안된 Encoder 구조를 검증하기 위하여 JM 13.2로부터 reference C를 개발하였으며, reference C로부터 test vector를 추출하여 설계된 회로를 검증하였다. 우리는 Hardware cost를 줄이기 위하여 plan mode를 제거 하였고, SAD 계산 방법과 8 pixel 병렬처리 등을 사용하여 Hardware cost와 cycle을 줄이는 방법을 채택하였다. 제안된 회로는 Full HD1080@fps 영상을 133MHz clock에서 동작시킬 수 있으며, 합성결과 TSMC 0.18um 공정에 램 포함 25만gate크기 이다.

세팔로스포린계 유도체 CKD-604 물성연구 : 수용액중에서의 안정화 및 가용화 (Physicochemical Characteristics of Cephalosporin Derivative, CKD-604 : Stabilization and Solubilization in Aqueous Media)

  • To formulate the parenteral delivery of a new cephalosporin derivative, 7-${\beta}$-[(2)-2-(2-arninothiazol-4-yl)-2methoxyiminoacetamido]- 3- [(2,3-cyclopenteno-4-carbamoyl-l-pyridinium)methyl]- 3-cephem-4-carboxylate sulfate( CKD604), the stability and solubility of CKD-604 in various aqueous media were investigated. The degradation kinetics of CKD-604 in aqueous solutions (ionic strength 0.1, pH 1-8) were studied at $37^{\circ}C$. The observed degradation rates followed pseudo first order kinetics. The pH-rate profile exhibited a minimum degradation rate at pH 5. The Arrhenius activation energy was 14.2 kcal/mol in pH 5 buffer solution. Excellent agreement between the cephalosporins' theoretical pH-rate profile and the experimental data indicated that the degradation pathway of CKD-604 could be predicted according to the general pathway of cephalosporins. The solubility of CKD-604 was 8.16 mg/ml at $25^{\circ}C$. To enhance the solubility and adjust the suitable pH, CKD-604 was solubilized by using sodium ascorbate, ascorbic acid and urea. The compositions were obtained to satisfy optimum pH and concentration, and the total amount of additives was several times of the active ingredient, CKD-604.

돼지와 랫트에서 sulfamethazine의 약물동태학 및 조직분포 (Pharmacokinetic profile and tissue distribution of sulfamethazine in pigs and rats)

  • In order to establish optimal dosage schedules and withdrawal times for sulfamethazine(SMZ) in pigs, pharmacokinetic and tissue distribution experiments were conducted in pigs. For comparative purposes, tissue depletion kinetics are also studied in rats. From three pigs administered with SMZ i.v., the pharmacokinetic profile of SMZ in two pigs was adequately described by a one-compartment open model whereas that in one pig was patterned after a two-compartment open model. Volume of distribution(Vd) was 0.48~0.57 L/kg and biological half-life($t_{1/2}$) was 11.8-16.8 h. From three pigs dosed with SMZ p.o., pharmacokinetic profile was explainable with a one-compartment open model. Time to reach maximum SMZ concentration in serum (Tmax) was 2.8 h, 3.2 h and 7.5 h. Elimination half-life was 2.8-7.5 h. The descending order in concentration of SMZ was plsama > kidney > liver > lung > heart > pancreas > spleen > duodenum > ileum > brain > adipsoe tissue from three pigs sacrificed at 5h, 29h and 54h after the administration of SMZ, p.o.. The protein binding of SMZ in pigs was 55.2%($2.5{\mu}g/ml$), 71.5% ($5{\mu}g/kg$) and 71.5%($10{\mu}g/ml$). The mean systemic bioavailability (F) of SMZ p.o. was 49.1 %. Meanwhile the pharmacokinetic profile of SMZ in rats was adequately described by a one-compartment open model. Absorption of SMZ p.o. in the rat was very rapid. In conclusion, the oral optimal dosage regimen of SMZ for pigs was the initial dose of 45.7 mg/kg followed by the maintenance dose of 30.2 mg/kg for high specific pathogens to SMZ. The time to reach below the stipulated residual allowable concentration (0.1 ppm) was calculated 93 h after oral administration of 200 mg/kg recommended by manufactureres.

차륜답면형상 마모에 따른 차량 주행안정성 영향 분석 (Analysis on the Running Stability of Rolling-stock according to Wheel Profile Wear)

  • To analyze the effect of wear of wheel profile on the running stability of rolling-stock, theoretical and experimental studies were conducted on the profiles used in conventional lines. In experiment using 1/5 scale model to verify the results of the theoretical analysis, the test results of the critical speed for worn wheel profile samples show similar trend. In case of the conical type wheel profile(Profile 40), the equivalent conicity is increased with flange wear. But in case of the arc type wheel profile(Profile 20h), the equivalent conicity is decreased with flange wear. And the critical speed of the bogie was inverse proportion to the equivalent conicity. It is shown that the variation of the critical speed with the wheel wear could be changed according to the design concept and wear pattern of wheel profile. Results of the theoretical and experimental studies are discussed here.

Adaptive User Profile for Information Retrieval from the Web

  • This paper proposes the information retrieval improvement for the Web using the structure and hyperlinks of HTML documents along with user profile. The method bases on the rationale that terms appearing in different structure of documents may have different significance in identifying the documents. The method partitions the occurrence of terms in a document collection into six classes according to the tags in which particular terms occurred (such as Title, H1-H6 and Anchor). We use genetic algorithm to determine class importance values and expand user query. We also use this value in similarity computation and update user profile. Then a genetic algorithm is used again to select some terms from user profile to expand the original query. Lastly, the search engine uses the expanded query for searching and the results of the search engine are scored by similarity values between each result and the user profile. Vector space model is used and the weighting schemes of traditional information retrieval were extended to include class importance values. The tested results show that precision is up to 81.5%.
