In this paper, we are implemented low-power structure for Inter prediction, Intra prediction, Deblocking filter, Transform and Quantization blocks in H.264/AVC Encoder. The proposed Inter/Intra prediction blocks are shown 60.2% cell area reduction by adder reduction through Distributed Arithmetic, 44.3% add operation reduction using MUX for hardware share in Deblocking filter block. Furthermore we applied CSD and CSS process to reduce the cell area instead of multipliers that take a lot of area. The FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array) and ARM Process based H.264/AVC encoder is implemented using proposed low power IPs. The proposed structure Platforms are implemented to interlock with FPGA and ARM processors. H.264/AVC Encoder implementation using Platforms shows that proposed low-power IPs can use H.264/AVC Encoder SoC effectively.
In this research, two new complexes of N-(2-aminoethyl)-1,3-propanediamine (aepn), $[Cd(aepn)_2]I_2$ (1) and $[Cd(aepn)_2]Cl_2{\cdots}H_2O$ (2), were prepared and identified by elemental analysis, FT-IR, Raman spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Geometry around the cadmium atom in two complexes by coordination of six nitrogen atoms of two aepn is distorted octahedral. If distortion in the mer-$[Cd(aepn)_2]^{2+}$ cation is disregarded, it has a $C_2$ axis and $C_2$ symmetry. The cyclic voltammetry experiments were carried out to study the complexation process. Two structural surveys on coordination modes and complexes of aepn are presented. A study was carried out using CSD data to estimate the averages of bond lengths for different types of the Cd-N bonds. It was found that the intermolecular $N-H{\cdots}I$, $C-H{\cdots}I$ hydrogen bonds in 1 and $N-H{\cdots}Cl$, $N-H{\cdots}O$, $C-H{\cdots}O$, $O-H{\cdots}Cl$ in 2 stabilized the crystal networks.
In this study, transonic aeroelastic response analyses haw been conducted for the business jet aircraft configuration considering shockwave and flow separation effects. The developed fluid-structure coupled analysis system is applied for aeroelastic computations combining computational structural dynamics(CSD), finite element method(FEM) and computational fluid dynamics(CFD) in the time domain. It can give very accurate and useful engineering data on the structural dynamic design of advanced flight vehicles. For the nonlinear unsteady aerodynamics in high transonic flow region, Navier-Stokes equations using the structured grid system have been applied to wing-body configurations. In transonic flight region, the characteristics of static and dynamic aeroelastic responses have been investigated for a typical wing-body configuration model. Also, it is typically shown that the current computation approach can yield realistic and practical results for aircraft design and test engineers.

In this pilot dual-site study with LifeWave IceWave$^{(R)}$ patches, using subjects as their own controls, data were acquired from a convenience sample of 16 males and 24 females, 50% Caucasian-Americans, 50% Hispanic-Americans, ages 20 - 85 with neuromuscular pain. The hypothesis was: the application of IceWave$^{(R)}$ patches to the skin will reduce one's perception of pain. Subjects were tested at baseline (without any patches), and then at 1 and 3 h on day 1 and at 1 h on days 2 - 5 after patch application. At every time point, the mean change, indicative of one's perception of pain, was highly significantly (p < 0.0001) reduced, with a statistical power of 100% compared to baseline. Based on these findings, the hypothesis was accepted as true.

This paper presents a content-based image retrieval (CBIR) method using the combination of color and texture features. As a color feature, a color autocorrelogram is chosen which is extracted from the hue and saturation components of a color image. As a texture feature, BDIP(block difference of inverse probabilities) and BVLC(block variation of local correlation coefficients) are chosen which are extracted from the value component. When the features are extracted, the color autocorrelogram and the BVLC are simplified in consideration of their calculation complexity. After the feature extraction, vector components of these features are efficiently quantized in consideration of their storage space. Experiments for Corel and VisTex DBs show that the proposed retrieval method yields 9.5% maximum precision gain over the method using only the color autucorrelogram and 4.0% over the BDIP-BVLC. Also, the proposed method yields 12.6%, 14.6%, and 27.9% maximum precision gains over the methods using wavelet moments, CSD, and color histogram, respectively.
A series of reactions between an amino alcoholic ligand, cis-2-((2-((2-hydroxyethyl)amino)ethyl)amino)cyclohexan-1-ol (HEAC), with the mixtures of group 12 metals including, $HgCl_2/CdCl_2$, $HgCl_2/CdI_2$, $ZnCl_2/CdCl_2$ and $ZnCl_2/CdCl_2/HgCl_2$ was experimentally and theoretically studied to determine the most stable product of these reactions. Furthermore, the Cambridge Structural Database (CSD) studies were done to evaluate the theoretical results. The products were characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, Raman, $^1H$ NMR spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Based on these investigations a binuclear structure of cadmium, [$Cd_2(HEAC)_2({\mu}-Cl)_2Cl_2$] (1), is the most stable product that was formed in all studied reactions between HEAC and metals mixtures. In this structure, the cadmium atom has a $CdN_2O({\mu}-Cl)_2Cl$ environment and distorted octahedral geometry.

We propose a progressive image retrieval method based on an efficient combination of multiresolution color and torture features in wavelet transform domain. As a color feature, color autocorrelogram of the hue and saturation components is chosen. As texture features, BDIP and BVLC moments of the value component are chosen. For the selected features, we obtain multiresolution feature vectors which are extracted from all decomposition levels in wavelet domain. The multiresolution feature vectors of the color and texture features are efficiently combined by the normalization depending on their dimensions and standard deviation vector, respectively, vector components of the features are efficiently quantized in consideration of their storage space, and computational complexity in similarity computation is reduced by using progressive retrieval strategy. Experimental results show that the proposed method yields average $15\%$ better performance in precision vs. recall and average 0.2 in ANMRR than the methods using color histogram color autocorrelogram SCD, CSD, wavelet moments, EHD, BDIP and BVLC moments, and combination of color histogram and wavelet moments, respectively. Specially, the proposed method shows an excellent performance over the other methods in image DBs contained images of various resolutions.
The collagens from filefish (Novoden modestus) and cod (Gadus macrocephalus Tilesius) skin were isolated and their physicochemical properties were investigated. Glutamic acid, hydroxyproline, valine and phenylalanine in the filefish skin collagen (FSC) were presented at higher levels than those of cod skin collagen (CSC), but the contents of glycine, proline and serine were contrary. The content of essential amino acids of FSC (265 residues/1000 residues) was higher than CSC (229 residues). The solubilities of both collagens were the lowest at pH 7.0, but precipitously increased at acid zone(below pH 5.0). FSC has lower viscosity than CSC. Furthermore, while the viscosities of both collagens were the lowest at pH 7.0, the viscosities of FSC and CSC were the highest at pH 4.0 and pH 2.0, respectively. The denaturation temperature of $FS(25^{\circ}C)$ was higher than $CSD\;(17^{\circ}C)$. The free hydrophobic residue contents of FSC and CSC tended to increase till $60^{\circ}C,\;and\;50^{\circ}C$ respectively, and to decrease thereafter. Hydration capacities of both collagens were the lowest at pH 7.0, and CSC had the superior hydration capacity to FSC. In addition, emulsifying and emulsifying stability of CSC was also superior to FSC.

Aim of the study: Scaffolds are crucial to tissue engineering/regeneration. Biodegradable polymer/ceramic composite scaffolds can overcome the limitations of conventional ceramic bone substitutes such as brittleness and difficulty in shaping. In this study, poly(L-lactide)/hydroxyapatite(PLLA/HA) composite scaffolds were fabricated for in vivo bone tissue engineering. Material & methods: In this study, PLLA/HA composite microspheres were prepared by double emulsion-solvent evaporation method, and were evaluated in vivo bone tissue engineering. Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell from rat iliac crest was differentiated to osteoblast by adding osteogenic medium, and was mixed with PLLA/HA composite scaffold in fibrin gel and was injected immediately into rat cranial bone critical size defect(CSD:8mm in diameter). At 1. 2, 4, 8 weeks after implantation, histological analysis by H-E staining, histomorphometric analysis and radiolographic analysis were done. Results: BMP-2 loaded PLLA/HA composite scaffolds in fibrin gel delivered with osteoblasts differentiated from bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells showed rapid and much more bone regeneration in rat cranial bone defects than control group. Conclusion: This results suggest the feasibility and usefulness of this type of scaffold in bone tissue engineering.
