증기발생기 수위 제어를 위한 견실$H^{\infty}$ 제어기 설계 (Design of Robust $H^{\infty}$ Controller for Water Level Control of Steam Generator)

  • The control objective of steam generator water level in the secondary circuit of a nuclear power plant is to regulate the water level at the desired set point. The dynamics of steam generators is non-linear in nature. The task of modelling such plant is very difficult and especially so when plant operating conditions change frequently. In these reasons, conventional PI gains over all pover range will not work efficiently and a manual control is generally used in low power operation. Therefore the robust H$\infty$ controller design method should be required. In this paper, we design the robust H$\infty$ controller for water level control of steam generator using a mixed H$\infty$ optimization with model-matching method. Firstly we choose the desired model that has good disturbance rejection performance. Secondly we design a stabilizing controller to keep the model-matching error small and also provide sufficiently large stability margin against additive perturbations of the nominal plant.

  • This paper is concerned with the H2 attitude controller design for 3 degree of freedom (DOF) Hover systems with an event-triggered mechanism. The 3 DOF Hover system is an embedded platform for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) provided by Quanser. The mathematical model of this system is obtained by a linearization around operating points and it is represented as a linear parameter-varying (LPV) model. To save communication network resources, the event-triggered mechanism (ETM) is considered and the performance of the system is guaranteed by the H2 controller. The stabilization condition is obtained by using Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals (LKFs) and some useful lemmas. The effectiveness of the proposed method is shown by simulation and experimental results.

  • In this paper, a suspension control of a magnetic levitation(MagLev) system with flexible rail is designed and presented. The numerical modelling for the electromagnetic system to be controlled as a target plant is carried out. And dome kinds of the hardware system including CPU board, AD board, DA board, sensors, and switching power amplifier are described. Using the derived model, the stabilizing controllers, such as PID and $H_{\infty}$ controller, for the MagLev system are designed using the MATLAB toolbox. The designed controllers are validated by some experimental results as well as numerical simulations. So it is shown that $H_{\infty}$ controller can give the better performance for the plant with flexible modes than PID controller.

  • This paper presents a fuzzy-neural network controller technique on the load frequency control of two-area power system. Firstly, Fuzzy controller a series of initial selected rules are improved by means of the proposed technique. Secondly, scale factors for error, change rate of error and control input are optimized by the given error back-pagation teaming algorithms. Finally, the related simulation results show that the proposed fuzzy neural network controller technique are more powerful than conventional ones.

  • ITER AC/DC Converter Local Controller는 플라즈마 제어 시스템에서 요구하는 전압 전류 명령에 따라 초전도 코일에 전류를 공급하고 컨버터 System 자체 보호 기능, 초전도 코일시스템 이상 시 Bypass 및 코일 에너지를 계통에 회생하여 에너지를 방전하여야 한다. 코일 별로 플라즈마 제어에 필요한 높은 전압 전류는 전원 장치의 직렬 접속이 요구되고(2직렬, 4직렬, 6직렬) 제어적으로 이들 제어 시스템들은 신뢰도가 높은 디지털 설계를 요구 한다. 본 논문은 다 직렬 전원 장치 제어를 위한 Local Controller의 설계 내용을 논의하고자 한다.

  • Recently, the research of the distribution automatic system is increased. Distribution automatic system in local switchgear side usually consists of a switchgear controller and a feeder remote unit. A feeder remote unit (FRU) analyzes remote control order from the sudstation communication control unit(SCCU) located remote position using MODEM and delivers order to a switchgear controller. The each state of a switchgear is also delivered to a SCCU through a FRU. Switchgear controller operates switchgear directly and collects the each state of switchgear. In this system between a FRU and a switchgear controller, there are many functions which is included both of them. In this paper the combined switchgear controller which unified the conventional control functions of a FRU and a swichgear controller is proposed. The combined switchgear controller has many advantages excluding redundancy in system cost, space, control reliability and etc.

$H_2 / H_{\infty}$ 혼합 기법을 이용한 2자유도 PI 제어기의 설계 (Design of Two-Degree-of-Freedom PI Controllers using the Mixed $H_2/H_{\infty}$ Methods)

  • A numerous designs of PI controllers have been suggested to solve out trade-off between tracing and regulating problems. We constructed the PI controller system with two-degree-of-freedom that is more analytic and a better approach to a practical one. In the conventional H$_{2}$ design of optimal PI controllers, the cost function includes only the plant output terms due to the divergent problems. Since the platn input temr is not considered in PI controller design, occasionally, the plant input thends to be either very large or saturated. To solve the prior mentioned problems, we employed a mixed $H_2/H_{\infty}$ method that combines the H$_{2}$ design method to decide optimal parameters of PI controller and the $H_2/H_{\infty}$ design method to minimize the maximum amplitude of plant input. The calculation time of the H$_{infty}$ norm was considerably reduced by the simple scalar function obtained by the wiener-hopf factorization of non-scalar functions.

파라미터 불확실성 시스템에 대한 견실 비약성 $H^\infty$ 제어기 설계 ((Robust Non-fragile $H^\infty$ Controller Design for Parameter Uncertain Systems))

  • 본 논문에서는 구조화된 어파인(affine) 파라미터 불확실성을 가지는 시변 선형시스템과 구조적 불확실성을 가지는 상태궤환 제어기에 대한 견실 비약성 H∞ 제어기 설계방법을 다루었다. 또한 견실 비약성 H∞ 제어기가 존재할 충분조건, 제어기 설계방법 및 비약성을 만족하는 제어기의 꽉찬 집합(compact set)을 제시하였다. 이 때 제시한 조건은 변수치환과 슈어 여수(Schur complement)정리를 통하여 선형행렬부등식 (LMI : Linear Matrix Inequality)의 계수가 꽉찬 집합 내의 파라미터의 함수로 정의되는 파라미터화 선형 행렬부등식(PLMls: parameterized Linear Matrix Inequalities)으로 표현되므로 분리 볼록개념 (separated convexity concepts)에 기초한 완화기법을 이용하여 유한개의 LMI로 변환하였다. 그리고 본론문에서 제시한 견실 비약성 H∞ 제어기가 제어기이득의 변화에도 불구하고 폐루프시스템의 점근적 안정성 (asymptotic stability)과 외란감쇠 성능을 보장함을 보였다.

  • In this paper, the genetic algorithm is used to design a mixed $H_2/H{\infty}$ controller. Two kinds of controller forms, Youla's form and the general form are considered to design a mixed $H_2/H{\infty}$ controller Efficient searching methods are sought to minimize the given $H_2$ cost function under the $H{\infty}$ constraint. It is verified by an example that the developed algorithm can provide stable results in the region where unstable results are shown by the conventional gradient method.
