This paper presents a linear programming formulation of the aggregate production planning problem for an optical instrument manufacturing company. Taking into account of the various requirements of the company, an L.P model is developed whose objective is to minimize the total cost of production during the planning horizon. The application results and its implications are well understood by the management and expected to be used as a guide line for future production planning.

This study aims to suggest a rural village development policy considering tourists' stay pattern and villages' resources which can be infrastructure for green-tourism. For this purpose, a relationship table between amenity resources and the stay pattern was developed as a guide line to combine a set of several facilities for village renewal. The amenity resources system was classified into three sub-classes(social, industrial, and natural/cultural/historical resources) and a relationship diagram between three classes and tourists' behavior was also defined. The table and diagram can be applied to make renewal plan for rural villages.

In this paper, we are going to design an iterative learning controller with the robust properties for initial error. For this purpose, the PID-type learning law will be considered and the design guide-line will be presented for the selection of the learning gain. Also, we are going to suggest a condition for the convergence of control input for a plant with input delay. Several simulation results are presented, which shows the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

The guidance system which uses the line-of-sight(LOS) rate to guide the missile towards its target has been used to the conventional differential game, such as the pursuer-evader game. Proportional navigation guidance and its derivatives have been shown to be an effective LOS rate guidance system. In this paper, we have used the genetic algorithm to construct the guidance system for the pursuer-evader type differential game. Also we have proposed the prediction model to obtain the informations about the intention of future actions of the pursuer and the evader.

The comprehensive performance of the water-proofing materials which are sealer, liquid and preformed membranes were investigated as basic experimental data for guide line of field workers. The water-proofing performance, shear strength and bond strength were tested under the ambient temperature of $20^{\cire}C$ and after 60 cycles of freezing and thawing ($-17.8^{\cire}C$~$4^{\cire}C$, 6cycle/day). The performance includes workability, permeability, cost and the influence of water-proofing materials to environment.

The excitation forces from the periodical firing pressure in cylinder and the rotating crank mechanism cause lots of vibration problems in diesel engine. In this paper, the theoretical formulas for excitation forces are introduced and computational program for the optimization of crank angle is also developed to reduce the free moments in diesel engine. The computational results of 4-stroke in-line engine are applied to verify the reliability of the program.

Rock Mass classifications have been developed in many European countries. The most widely used classification methods are the Rock Mass Rating (RMR) system proposed by Bieniawski(1973) and the Q-system developed By Barton et al. (1974). These methods are also adopted at many mountain tunnels and subway sites in our country. Here, a geomechanical classification for slopeds in rock, the "Slope Mass Rating"(SMR) is presented for the preliminary assessment of slope stabiliyt. This method can be applied to excavation and support design in the front part of tunnel and cutting area as a guide line and recommendation on support methods which allow a systemmetic use of geomechanical classification for rock slopes.

현재 국가 간의 경쟁력 확보를 위하여 자동화 기술의 개발을 통한 무인화ㆍ자동화를 실현함으로써 물류비용 및 인건비의 절감을 위한 노력에 많은 투자가 이루어지고 있는 실정이다 FMS를 구축하기 위해서는 AGV는 반드시 필요한 운송 장치로 현재 많은 제품들이 생산되어 현장에서 사용되고 있다. 현재 AGV는 바닥에 설치되어 있는 주행라인을 따라서 이동하는 방식이 가장 많이 사용되고 있으며, 주행라인 검출 방식으로 말이 사용되고 있는 전자유도 방식은 설비비용이 말이 들고 경로 수정이 어렵다는 문제점을 가지고 있다.(중략)
