Assessment of Bank Customer's Attitude Toward Financial Technology in Pakistan

  • The financial technology sector is now growing rapidly all over the world, and it has improved the banking system efficiency and customer experience. This research study attempts explicitly to explore the consumer acceptance attitude of FinTech and its products in Pakistan. Technology Acceptance Model was used to assess the entire variable associated with the consumer attitude to adopt new technology. Based on a survey conducted from Pakistan data and by employing the multiple regression analysis, this study proves that the risk involved in FinTech products and services results in less usage of financial technology. The findings of the study also show that the risk should be reduced if banks and other institutes that are involved in financial transactions online must provide security. Moreover, customers are not willing to pay an extra amount for using financial technology. It argues that usefulness helps to change the attitude of banking customers to use financial technology. The attitudes of the customers have a positive relationship with the adoption of financial technology. These results also help guide financial institutions to enhance the adoption of FinTech products. User attitudes must be changed by providing users with more security, less risky applications, and cost-effective products.

천공과 유동 가이드를 활용한 방사형 히트싱크의 자연대류 열전달 향상에 관한 연구 (Study on the Natural Convection Heat-Transfer Enhancement in Radial Heat Sink Using the Perforation and Flow Guide)

  • 본 연구에서는 천공과 유동 가이드를 활용한 방사형 히트싱크의 자연대류 열전달 향상에 관해 수치적으로 탐구하였다. 천공과 침니 기반의 유동 가이드를 활용한 개선된 형상의 방사형 히트싱크의 성능을 평가하고, 기존의 방사형 히트싱크와 열 성능을 비교하였다. 연구 결과, 천공형 히트싱크는 연구범위 내에서 천공의 개수와 직경이 클수록 열 성능이 좋아짐을 알 수 있었다. 침니 기반의 유동 가이드를 활용한 히트싱크에 대해서는, 핀의 개수, 침니와 바닥면 사이의 거리의 영향을 분석하였다. 그 결과 핀의 개수와 침니와 바닥면 사이의 거리에 최적화된 값이 있다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 히트싱크의 방향이 상 방향($0^{\circ}$)에서 최고의 열 성능을, 측 방향($90^{\circ}$)일 때 최악의 열 성능이 나타나는 것을 알 수 있었다. 천공형 히트싱크와 최적의 구조를 갖는 유동 가이드를 갖는 히트싱크는 기존의 방사형 히트싱크와 비교하였을 때, 각각 최대 17%, 20% 개선된 열 성능을 가짐을 알 수 있었다. 본 논문은 공학과 관련한 획기적인 아이디어를 제시함으로써 창업기술개발, 벤처 및 기업가정신 함양에도 중요한 의미를 지닐 수 있다.

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the analysis of differences between importance and satisfaction of destination attractiveness for the national marine sports games using IPA method. By doing so, this study aimed to utilize the result of study for a practical marketing strategy in operating and establishing Korean marine sports market circumstances. The participants of this study consisted of 328 who were participated in marine sport event (yacht, fin-swimming, canoe, triathlon and so on) of 9th national marine sports games. Samples were extracted by convenient sampling method. A total 328 questionnaires were collected in this study except data which did not respond or trustless responded. In data processing, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, frequency analysis, paired t-test and Importance-Performance Analysis were performed through SPSS 20.0. The results were as follows. First, I quadrant included Programs Multiplicity, Pamphlet, Stand preparations, Food Cleanliness, Effective Progress, Guide Know-How, Food taste. Third, II quadrant included Pre-Publicity, Internet Information, Proper Food Price, Shade Facilities, Convenient Parking, Restroom Cleanliness, Number of Restroom, Safety Facilities. Fourth, III quadrant included Entertaining Program, Number of Guide, Local Culture, Game Progress, Directional Sign. Fifth, IV quadrant included Performance Program, Well-Matched Event, View Distance, Various Food.

자동차용 에어컨의 고밀도 응축기(SCC)에서 배플의 위치 변화에 따른 성능향상에 관한 연구 (Effects of Baffle Location on the Performance of a Super Compact Condenser in an Automotive Air Conditioning System)

  • A new super compact condenser(SCC), which has been developed recently is especially suitable for an alternative refrigerant HFC-134a due to its high performance and compactness. The SCC is composed of two pipe headers, baffles, narrow multi-rectangular channels, and louvered fin arrays. Alternating inlet and outlet by the inserted baffles in pipe headers guide refrigerant to and from the narrow multi-rectangular channels. Since the flow rate and its lengh are changed depending on the number and location of baffles, the corresponding pressure drop and heat transfer rate are changed. The present study aims to theoretically and experimentally investigate the effects of baffle location and its number on the pressure drop and thermal performance of the SCC with 40 multi-rectangular channels. The results show that the present method provides an acceptable prediction of pressure drop and heat transfer rate for a 4 pass SCC. However, the model significantly under predicts the performance of a 3 pass SCC, which may be attributed to the phase separation of refrigerant flowing through header pipes. Pressure drop is more signifi- cantly influenced than heat transfer rate by the baffle location.

앞동갈베도라치의 산란행동 유도 및 초기생활사 (Spawning Behavior and Early Life History of the Elegant Blenny, Omobranchus elegans (Pisces: Blenniidae))

  • 본 연구는 앞동갈베도라치의 산란행동과 난 발생 및 자치어 형태발달을 통해 초기생활사를 밝히고, 다른 유연종과 비교 동정을 위한 분류학적 연구의 기초자료로 제공하고자 실시하였다. 산란행동은 수컷이 속이 비어 있는 굴 또는 따개비 패각을 선택하여 내면을 입으로 깨끗이 청소해주었고, 수컷은 지속적인 구애행동으로 암컷을 산란장소로 유인하였으며, 패각 내면에 한 층으로 산란하였다. 산란이 끝난 암컷은 패각을 떠났고, 수컷은 혼자 남아 알이 부화할 때까지 보호하였다. 수정란의 형태는 구형으로 점성이 강한 부착란이었고, 평균 장경은 $1.06{\pm}0.03mm$ 였다. 사육수온은 부화 시까지 $25.5{\sim}28.5^{\circ}C$ (평균 $27.0^{\circ}C$), 염분 32.5~33.5 ‰ (평균 33.0 ‰) 범위를 유지하였다. 수정란은 배반이 난황의 2/3 이상을 덮어 내려와 낭배기에 달하였고, 낭배기 후 2시간에는 난황을 따라 자라나면서 배체가 형성되었다. 낭배기 후 39시간에는 뇌가 분화하였고, 꼬리가 난황과 분리되면서 막지느러미가 형성되었다. 낭배기 후 203시간에는 머리가 난막을 뚫고 나오면서 부화가 시작되었다. 부화 직후의 전기 자어는 전장 $3.06{\pm}0.02mm$로 입과 항문은 열려있었고, 난황은 흡수된 상태였다. 부화 후 10일째 후기자어는 전장 $6.42{\pm}0.02mm$로 꼬리지느러미는 원기모양으로 발달하였다. 부화 후 60일째 치어는 전장 $21.8{\pm}0.24mm$로 머리 윗부분의 가로줄무늬는 주둥이 끝에서부터 등지느러미 12번째 줄기까지 9개로 증가하였고, 눈 아랫부분의 가로줄무늬 4개는 머리 윗부분의 가로줄무늬와 합쳐졌다. 항문은 37.2~39.5%로 몸의 정중앙보다 앞쪽에 위치하였다.

DEVELOPMENT OF AN AMPHIBIOUS ROBOT FOR VISUAL INSPECTION OF APR1400 NPP IRWST STRAINER ASSEMBLY

  • An amphibious inspection robot system (hereafter AIROS) is being developed to visually inspect the in-containment refueling storage water tank (hereafter IRWST) strainer in APR1400 instead of a human diver. Four IRWST strainers are located in the IRWST, which is filled with boric acid water. Each strainer has 108 sub-assembly strainer fin modules that should be inspected with the VT-3 method according to Reg. guide 1.82 and the operation manual. AIROS has 6 thrusters for submarine voyage and 4 legs for walking on the top of the strainer. An inverse kinematic algorithm was implemented in the robot controller for exact walking on the top of the IRWST strainer. The IRWST strainer has several top cross braces that are extruded on the top of the strainer, which can be obstacles of walking on the strainer, to maintain the frame of the strainer. Therefore, a robot leg should arrive at the position beside the top cross brace. For this reason, we used an image processing technique to find the top cross brace in the sole camera image. The sole camera image is processed to find the existence of the top cross brace using the cross edge detection algorithm in real time. A 5-DOF robot arm that has multiple camera modules for simultaneous inspection of both sides can penetrate narrow gaps. For intuitive presentation of inspection results and for management of inspection data, inspection images are stored in the control PC with camera angles and positions to synthesize and merge the images. The synthesized images are then mapped in a 3D CAD model of the IRWST strainer with the location information. An IRWST strainer mock-up was fabricated to teach the robot arm scanning and gaiting. It is important to arrive at the designated position for inserting the robot arm into all of the gaps. Exact position control without anchor under the water is not easy. Therefore, we designed the multi leg robot for the role of anchoring and positioning. Quadruped robot design of installing sole cameras was a new approach for the exact and stable position control on the IRWST strainer, unlike a traditional robot for underwater facility inspection. The developed robot will be practically used to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the inspection of nuclear power plant components.
