평면구조를 가진 고내압 다이오드를 Guard ring을 사용하여 제작하고 다이오드의 파괴전압이 최대가 되는 Guard ring의 최적위치를 실험적으로 구하였다. 측정된 파괴전압은 Guard ring을 사용하지 않은 경우에는 550volt이었고 Guard ring을 사용한 경우에는 1,000volt까지 증가시킬 수 있었다.

Chlorophasts are a central structural feature of stomatal guard cells. Guard cell chloroplasts have both photosystems I and II (PS I and II), carry out O2 evoluation , cyclic and noncyclic photophosporylation, and possess the Calvin-Benson cycle enzymes involved in CO2 fixation. These imply that guard cell chloroplasts have a normal photosynthetic carbon reduction pathway just like their mesophyll counterparts, indicating similar fuctional organization of thylakoid membranes in both types of mesophyll and guard cell chloroplasts. It has been, however, found that guard cell chloroplasts have distinctive and comparative properties in their photosynthetic performance. In this article, I review the intrinsic features on the light reaction of and carbon reduction by guard cell chloroplasts.

Department of the imperial guard is of the soldiers organization which is formed in the royal power or the absolute near by a king. Thus, department of the imperial guard absolutely is showed it is a soldiers organization for guard a king. We summary the character and the function as followed when we subdivide. 1. The main mission was the guard of the royal palace. As we know from several historical materials, the defense of the royal palace was an fundamental mission. Therefore, department of the imperial guard would take charge of the defense of the royal palace. 2. They would carry out throne of king and the royal family or a battle. As unification, they would carry out guarding for political stability and a suppress probation of internal war in regard to the security and the frequent rebellion in central and locality. 3. They carried out guarding an honored going of a king or the royal family. We know the fact that there was an honored going of the royal family or many attendants on record. When a king or the royal family go, guarding of department of the imperial guard had not only protect them but also show off the authority of the royal family. As a result, when we analysis the substance from studying the guard system of Shilla, though our guard system is imitated the foreign guard system like U.S.A, transcending space-time, the guard system can be found a lot of something common at the guard principle and a rule. Today, in looking about a political system of any countries on the world, a king and a ruler of the country represent their country international, have responsibility of protect their nation and a people internal. Therefore, the guard for a ruler absolutely must carry out at a safety situation. Moreover the guard organ, at the same time is connected directly to a welfare of the nation, so we will have to devote a constant effort.

The ocean is a harsh environment and Korea Coast Guard officers often face the threat of death or going missing in the line of duty. In order to promptly identify unknown bodies during mishaps, Korea Coast Guard Research Center has established an identification system using the DNA of its officers. This collected DNA can also be entombed in National Cemeteries when the remains are not recovered. The storage, disposal and quality control of the materials are overseen by the Governing Committee according to the Enforcement Rules for the Human Biological Materials Storage Project for the Identification of Officers Killed or Gone Missing in Action. Approximately 700 bodies are found per year along the Korean coast. An alternative method should be put in place for when identification through fingerprints and teeth are not applicable due to severe decomposition or partial recovery. We believe it would greatly contribute to helping identify the unknown bodies if the storage project could expand its data to include marine industry workers, relevant researchers and those involved in marine leisure activities.

Police Assigned to Special Guard Act was legislated in 1962 to solve issues regarding the protection of various staple industrial installations, and in 2001, the Security Services Industry Act was revised to establish an effective security system for important national facilities. Thereby the Special Guards System was instituted. The current law has two parts, with the Police Assigned to Special Guard System and Special Guards System, and many scholars have actively discussed the appropriateness of the integration of both systems to solve problems caused by a bimodal system. However, in spite of these discussions taking place in the academic world, the idea of unification lost its power when the guarantee of status regulation was established for the police assigned to special guard. Strictly speaking, police assigned to special guard is a self-guard, and a special guard is a contractual guard. So, both of them have pros and cons. Thus, it would be desirable to give a legal, constitutional guarantee for both systems by strengthening each of them and making up for the weakness of each of them rather than trying to unify police assigned to special guard and special guard. To begin this process, we need to revise unreasonable legal provisions of Security Services Industry Act and Police Assigned to Special Guard Act as below. First, since the actual responsibilities of special guards and police assigned to special guard duty are the same, we need to make the facilities which they use equal. Second, legal provisions need to be revised so that a special guard may perform the duties of a police officer, according to the Act on the Performance of Duties by Police Officers, within the facility that needs to be secured in order to prevent any vacancy in the guarding of an important national facility. Third, disqualifications for the special guards need to be revised to be the same as the disqualifications for the police assigned to special guard duty. Fourth, it is reasonable to unify the training institution for special guards and for police assigned to special guard duty, and it should be the training institution for police. On-the-job education for a security guard needs to be altered to more than 4 hours every month just like the one for police assigned to special guard duty. Fifth, for a special guard, it is not right to limit the conditions in their using weapons to 'use of weapon or explosives' only. If one possesses 'dangerous objects such as weapon, deadly weapon, and so on' and resists, a special guard should be able to use their weapon against that person. Thus, this legal provision should be revised. Sixth, penalty, range of fines, and so on for police assigned to special guard duty need to be revised to be the same as the ones for a special guard. If we revise these legal provisions, we can correct the unreasonable parts of Security Services Industry Act and Police Assigned to Special Guard Act without unifying them. Through these revisions, special guards and police assigned to special guard duty may develop the civilian guard industry wholesomely under the law, and the civilians would have a wider range of options to choose from to receive high quality security service.

The design specifications of guard fences in Japan were reexamined and the revised specifications were implemented from April 1999. Because of the huge consumption in time and cost to test the performances of full-scale guard fences in the field, some assumptions are adopted while modifying the design specifications, and numerical analyses are necessary to confirm the impact performance and safety level of new types of steel highway guard fences. In this study, the finite element models are developed for the heavy trucks and steel highway guard fences to reenact their behaviors, and the solution approach is carried out using nonlinear dynamic analysis software of structures in three dimensions (LS-DYNA). The numerical simulation results are compared with the full-scale on-site testing results to verify the proposed analysis procedure. The collision process is simulated and it is also made possible to visualize the movement of the truck and the performances of guard fences. In addition, the energy shift of the truck kinetic energy to the truck and guard fence Internal energy, and the energy absorption of each guard fence component are studied for the development of a new design methodology of steel highway guard fences based on the energy absorption capacity.

PURPOSE: This study find out the effect of torque and power through various solidity of mouth guard on shoulder flexion and extension. METHODS: This study was conducted with healthy adults in their 20s Korean. Cybex system was used to measure the torque and power fo shoulder joint flexion/extension during isokinetic contraction when the various solidity mouth guard was used and no mouth guard was used. RESULT: The results of this study were summarized as follows: relative torque and average power was showed significantly difference between non applying mouth guard and applying hard type mouth guard during shoulder flexion and extension at isokinetic contraction. CONCLUSION: The application of hard type mouth guard was increased torque and power in joint of body. which may be clinically useful.

In order to facilitate the private maritime security system with high quality guard services, the status of private security companies and the security instructor system which has been operated in land side, are analyzed. Through screening the spectrums of private maritime security and analyzing the status of maritime security guard, the characteristics and expertise of maritime guard service, and it's system need are elicited. we propose the system of marine civil guard officer who will play a major role in private maritime security domain, and design the job requirements, the subjects of qualification test and the education program to enhance his professionalism and practicality. Moreover, the enactment of a provision on marine guard company in Marine guard law will be the platform to develop a private maritime security industry and to strengthen international competitiveness through supervising and piloting private guard service at sea by Korea coast guard.
