  • The above described semi-transparent monochromators have been operational since 1997. Four units are permanently operating at the ESRF beam line ID14. Two units are in continuous operation at ID 10 and one unit is installed at the APS beamline 8-ID in USA. The water cooling of the crystals is currently being revised and above we showed that improvements most likely are possible by using micro fluidics techniques. Further tests will be performed in collaboration with the CEA-France and tested at ESRF. Parallel developments including nanofluids as coolants are under evaluation. Combination of nanofluidics and microfluidics cooling devices are under study. The authors are grateful to C. Gillot and J-A. Gruss for useful discussions and advices, and to S.Mcheik for his work on the thermal model.

  • The current article manages with new generalization of Post-Widder operators preserving constant function and other test functions in Bohmann-Korovkin sense and studies the approximation properties via different estimation tools like modulus of continuity and approximation in weighted spaces. The viability of the recently modified operators as per classical Post-Widder operators is introduced in specific faculties also. Numerical examples are additionally introduced to verify our theortical results. In second last section we introduce Grüss-Voronovskaya results and in last section, we show the better approximation our new modified operators via graphical exmaples using Mathematica.

  • Airlines can employ a variety of quality monitoring procedures. In this study, we employ a content analysis of 8 years of online reviews for Korean airlines in contrast to other international airlines. Online airline reviews are infrequent, relative to the total number of passengers - the number of reviews is multiple orders of magnitude lower than passenger volumes - and online airline reviews are, therefore, not representative of passenger attitudes overall. Nevertheless, online reviews may be indicative of specific service issues, and draw attention to aspects that require further study by airline operators. Furthermore, significant words and phrases used in these airline reviews may help airline operators to rapidly automate filtering, partitioning, and analysis of incoming passenger comments via other channels, including email, social media posts, and call center transcripts. The current study provides insights into the contents of online reviews of Korean vs Other-International airlines, and opportunities for service enhancement. Further, we provide a set of marker words and phrases that may be helpful for management dashboards that require automated partitioning of passenger comments.
