2007 한국 소아 청소년 성장도표 : 개발 과정과 전망 (2007 Korean National Growth Charts: review of developmental process and an outlook)

  • 목 적 : 1967년 이후로 1998년까지 대한소아과학회와 정부는 매 10년마다 한국 소아청소년 신체발육표준치를 제정하여 왔다. 지난 40년간의 한국 성장도표는 체계적이고 통계학적인 표준화를 거치지 않은 기술적인 도표였다. 전 세계적인 비만의 유행에 대하여 WHO나 CDC와 같은 국제적인 기관들은 이에 대처하기 위하여 성장도표의 제정 원리들을 변경하여 왔다. 본 논문은 고찰과 함께 새로운 2007년 성장도표 개발과정을 요약하였다. 방 법 : 질병관리본부 만성병조사과의 주도로 2005년에 새로운 성장도표 제정을 위한 신체계측 조사를 시행하였고, 그 결과 소아 비만의 급증과 청소년 최종 성장의 세대별 증가 현상이 정체된 것을 확인하였다. 이에 연구진은 혁신적인 방법론을 도입하였으며, 이를 통하여 새로운 성장도표를 제정하였다. 확보 가능한 원자료인 1997년 및 2005년 측정 자료를 표준화고 통합하였으며, LMS 방법을 도입하여 통계적 모델링을 시행하였다. 결 과 : 표준화된 자료로서 연령별 신장, 연령별 체중, 연령별 체질량지수, 연령별 두위, 신장별 체중 도표가 제공되며, 2005년 조사의 표준화되지 않은 자료로 제공되는 연령별 허리둘레, 연령별 가슴둘레, 연령별 상완둘레, 연령별 피부 두겹집기가 제공된다. 임상 지침도 함께 제공된다. 결 론 : 새로운 한국 성장도표의 개발 과정과 결과는 국제적인 기준인 WHO 표준성장도표 및 미국 CDC 성장도표의 방법론을 적용한 것으로서, 비만과 성 발육이 가속화된 현 상황에 적절하다. 이는 특히 한국 국민과 한민족에게 유용하다. 향후 보다 과학적인 표준을 제시하기 위하여 지속적인 연구가 요청된다.

다중시기 항공 LiDAR를 활용한 도시림 개체목 수고생장분석 (Analysis of the Individual Tree Growth for Urban Forest using Multi-temporal airborne LiDAR dataset)

  • It is important to measure the height of trees as an essential element for assessing the forest health in urban areas. Therefore, an automated method that can measure the height of individual tree as a three-dimensional forest information is needed in an extensive and dense forest. Since airborne LiDAR dataset is easy to analyze the tree height(z-coordinate) of forests, studies on individual tree height measurement could be performed as an assessment forest health. Especially in urban forests, that adversely affected by habitat fragmentation and isolation. So this study was analyzed to measure the height of individual trees for assessing the urban forests health, Furthermore to identify environmental factors that affect forest growth. The survey was conducted in the Mt. Bongseo located in Seobuk-gu. Cheonan-si(Middle Chungcheong Province). We segment the individual trees on coniferous by automatic method using the airborne LiDAR dataset of the two periods (year of 2016 and 2017) and to find out individual tree growth. Segmentation of individual trees was performed by using the watershed algorithm and the local maximum, and the tree growth was determined by the difference of the tree height according to the two periods. After we clarify the relationship between the environmental factors affecting the tree growth. The tree growth of Mt. Bongseo was about 20cm for a year, and it was analyzed to be lower than 23.9cm/year of the growth of the dominant species, Pinus rigida. This may have an adverse effect on the growth of isolated urban forests. It also determined different trees growth according to age, diameter and density class in the stock map, effective soil depth and drainage grade in the soil map. There was a statistically significant positive correlation between the distance to the road and the solar radiation as an environmental factor affecting the tree growth. Since there is less correlation, it is necessary to determine other influencing factors affecting tree growth in urban forests besides anthropogenic influences. This study is the first data for the analysis of segmentation and the growth of the individual tree, and it can be used as a scientific data of the urban forest health assessment and management.

  • 지금까지 밝혀진 실증적인 성장과 분배의 관계는, 성장은 평균적으로 분배중립적으로 분배에 특정한 형태의 영향을 미친다는 실증적 증거는 없으며, 높은 부의 불평등도는 성장을 저해한다는 점이다. 한편 성장과 분배는 모두 빈곤에 이론적 실증적으로 영향을 미친다. 따라서 빈곤의 감소를 위해서는 성장과 분배의 정책적 조합이 필요하므로 성장과 분배의 이분법은 잘못된 것이다. 현 시점에서 한국이 성장과 분배의 조화를 통해 절대빈곤을 감소시키기 위해서는 세계은행에서 권장하는 빈곤감소적 성장을 추구할 필요가 있다. 한편, 절대적 빈곤과 절대적 불평등도는 음의 상관관계에 있기 때문에 양극화의 논의가 절대적 불평등도를 감소시키자는 정책으로 진행되어서는 절대빈곤의 감소를 기대하기 어려울 것이다.

사회경제수준에 따른 한국인의 식품 및 영양소 섭취 양상 (Food and Nutrient Consumption Patterns of Korean Adults by Socioeconomic Status)

  • The relationship between socio-economic status and food and nutrient consumption patterns was studied in 7,370 Koreans aged 20 years and older in the 1995 Korean Health and Nutrition Survey. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of rapid economic growth on food and nutrient consumption for Korean adults in the last 30 years. Monthly household income, and individual's educational level and occupation were chosen as variables of socio-economic status for individuals. A one day 24 hour recall method was used for the dietary survey. One way analysis of varience was adopted to test tole association between socio-economic variables and food and nutrient consumption patterns. Individuals who had a high socio-economic status had significantly higher daily intake of most of the nutrients including calcium, vitamin A, vitamin B$_2$which reached above the recommended dietary allowances(RDA) and a higher percentage energy consumption from fat. In addition, individual who belonged to a low socio-economic status consumed less animal foods, including meat, egg, milk and consumed low proportion of energy from fat. The results suggest that in spite of rapid economic growth during the last 30 years in Korea, individuals who belonged to low sorio-economic status categories are still nutritionally vulnerable. Among the sorio-economic variables, income and education except occupation were the influential factors on the food and nutrient consumption of Koreans. Therefore, nutrition policy should focus on influencing the dietary patterns of lower social class individuals to improve the health status of the population as a whole.

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the effect of top dressing on the thatch losses in bentgrass (Agrostis palustris). Top dressing materials used were clay loam, sand, zeolite, and sawdust. Data were taken on July 10 ($T_1$), Aug. 7 (($T_2$ ) and Sept. 4 (($T_3$) respectively. The results are summarized as follows: 1. The dry weight of accumulated thatch was significantly different between treatments and dates of survery, and for the interaction of treatment x date of survey. 2. The dry weight of accumulated thatch showed a tendency to decrease as growth progressed in all treatments. (Table 1) The dry weight of accumulated thatch was the smallest at sand but the largest at clay loam in each date of survey. 3. The losses rate of accumulated thatch showed a tendency to slightly increase as affected by top dressing materials. (Table 2) Sand showed a significantly higher losses rate of accumulated thatch than that of other treatments. 4. The dry weight of accumulated thatch showed a significant negative correlation (p<0.01) with the losses rate of accumulated thatch. (Fig. 1) 5. Turf coverage was significant difference between treatments and dates of survey. 6. Turf coverage showed a tendency to increase as growth progressed in all treatments. (Table 3) 7. Turf coverage indicated significant negative correlation (p<0.001) with the dry weight of accumulated thatch. (Fig. 2)

잔디밭의 효과적인 잡초 방제와 토양 환경 조사 (Advanced Weed Control and Soil Environmental Survey in Lawn)

  • The effects of salt are studied on control of weeds and growth of Korean turfgrass(Zoysia japon-ica Steud.). And the mobility of salt were determined in a lawn field. At post-emergence stage, the growth of the 13 weeds such as Trifolium repens, Erigeron canadensis, Artemisia prieceps, Equi-setum arvense, etc were controlled by treatment of salt and salt water, Pea-annua and Equisetum arvense were tolerant to salt compared with the other 11 weeds. At pre-emergence stage, the salt controlled the germination of the weeds in soil. 300~500 kg /10a salt and 20~30 % salt waterwere enough for the control of weeds, However, salt water injuried the lawngrass except the dormancy stage. The mobility of salt in soil was increased by rainfall. After 160mm of rainfall, the salinity in the soil treated with salt 500kg /l0a was below 0.3 ms/cm in surface soil and about 0.1 ms /cm in soil 30 cm depth. 잠재성장곡선간 인과모델을 적용한 초기 청소년의 게임 이용 동기 욕구와 고독감에 관한 종단 연구 (Longitudinal Analysis of Young Adolescents' Game Motivation Needs and Loneliness applied Latent Growth Cause-and-Effect Models)

  • This study examines whether online game motivation, with social and expedition needs, are associated with the degree of loneliness among young adolescents. Using data from a survey of 2014 elementary-, middle- and high-school students in South Korea, a three-wave online survey was conducted to collect data from online players. Two latent growth cause-and-effect models were developed to test whether online game motivation influences degree of loneliness. Results showed that both social and expedition needs are positively associated with loneliness. This study contributes to the knowledge of the underlying needs for a player with loneliness and also highlights the social and expedition needs as potential therapeutic factors.

  • This study examined the relationship of childrearing involvement, husband-wife relationship and parental growth of fathers of preschool children. Data were derived from a survey of 487 pairs of fathers and mothers of preschool children. The principal findings were that fathers who took a greater role in childrearing had better husband-wife relationships. Fathers who took on more childrearing involvement experienced "a broadening of one's vision" and/or "self-regulation" in growth as a parent. Father's childrearing involvement indirectly influenced parental growth through the medium of husband-wife relationship.

서양등골나물의 생육특성과 남산에서의 분포 (Characteristics and Distribution Pattern of Eupatorium rugosum at Mt. Namsan in Seoul)

  • The taxonomic characteristics of Eupatorium rugosum were reviewed and growth responses under different light intensities were investigated. Changes of soil and vegetation environments at experimental plots on Mt. Namsan were surveyed and the distribution pattern examined. The distribution of E. rugosum was closely related to the content of total nitrogen and available phosphorus in the soil. No competitors which could inhibit the growth of E. rugosum were present. Growth of E. rugosum was highest at a light intensity of 7, 500 lux, but dry weight was highest at a light intensity of 15, 000 lux followed by 30, 000 and 7, 500 lux. Growth in height of E. rugosum under a light intensity of 1, 500 lux continued even though the amount of growth was small. E. rugosum is found throughout the area of Mt. Namsan, and its density is higher at the roadside and in valley regions. E. rugosum appeared at 25 of 50 quadrats on Mt. Namsan, and the mean coverage of E. rugosum in survey quadrats was 12%.

양파의 생육시기별 생육요인과 기상요인 간의 관계 탐색 (A Correlation between Growth Factors and Meteorological Factors by Growing Season of Onion)

  • 양파는 생산량 변동에 따른 가격 변화폭이 커 수급조절 대책이 필요한 대표적인 농산물로 대책의 실효성 증대를 위해서는 정확한 생산량 예측이 요구된다. 양파는 주로 노지에서 재배되기 때문에 기상변화로 인해 생산량의 정확한 추정이 어렵다. 많은 선행연구가 다양하게 시도되었지만 신뢰도 높은 분석결과를 도출하기 위한 양질의 생육 실측자료가 부족한 실정이었다. 선행연구는 기상여건을 통제한 실험설계를 통해 얻어낸 자료를 분석하거나 기상자료와 생육자료 간 지역적 범위가 동일하지 않는 연구가 대다수여서 생육요인과 기상요인 간의 관계를 명확하게 규명하기에는 한계가 있었다. 본 연구는 자연적으로 노출된 환경에서 수집한 생육 실측조사 자료와 함께 실측 대상 지역의 추정 기상자료를 사용하여 생육요인과 기상요인 간 관계를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 양파의 생산량은 구중으로 결정되지만 지상부 생육상황에 따라 구의 생장이 부진할 수 있기 때문에 본 연구에서는 구중뿐만 아니라 지상부 생장과 어떤 기상요인이 중요한지 탐색하였다. 시기별로 생육요인과 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계를 갖는 기상요인을 탐색한 후, 랜덤 포레스트 기법을 이용하여 요인들의 영향력 및 중요도를 분석하였다. 주목할만한 결과로 3월 초에는 일사량이 지상부 생육에 긍정적인 영향을 주었으며, 3월 말에는 강수량과 지상부 생장 간 음의 상관관계에 있어 가뭄에 의한 피해를 언급한 기존 문헌과 상이하였다. 또한 수확기에는 강수량과 일조시간이 지상부와 지하부 생육에 미치는 영향이 유의하게 반대로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 밝혀낸 생육시기별 중요 기상요인은 양파의 생육모형과 생산량 예측모형 개발 연구를 위한 기초자료로 유용하게 활용될 것으로 기대된다.
