By considering the biological properties of a tumor, it should be possible to realize better results in cancer therapy. PET imaging offers the opportunity to measure tumor growth non-invasively and repeatedly as an early assessment of response to cancer therapy. Measuring cellular growth instead of energy metabolism showed offer significant advantages in evaluating therapy. Thymidine and its derivative nucleoside compounds can be changed to mono, di- and tri- phosphate compounds by thymidine kinase and then be incorporated into DNA. Their bindings are increased in highly proliferating cells due to the high DNA synthesis rate. To evaluate cell proliferation, many kinds of thymidine and uridine derivatives have been labeled with positron emitter and radioactive iodine. Compared to radiopharmaceuticals which have radioisotope labeled base ring such as pyirmidine, the radiopharmacuticals which have radioisotope labeled sugar ring are more stable in vivo and have metabolic resistance. The biological properties such as DNA incorporation ratios are highly dependent on their chemical structures and metabolic processes. This overview describes synthesis of radiopharmaceuticals and their biological properties for imaging of tumor cell proliferation.

The Korean government is currently expanding the business startup incubator support program and funds for new ventures with innovative technology in order to spread the second venture boom. However, despite the fact that entrepreneurial education and mentoring that entrepreneurs should have are important parts for the sustainable growth of the startup, some companies selected for government support programs are reluctant to participate in programs such as entrepreneurship education and mentoring for the sole purpose of funding commercialization. This research addressed the effects of entrepreneurial alertness with opportunity awareness as its medium and the small business mentoring service along with the number of times the mentoring has taken place, on the corporate performances. The results of empirical research are as follow: the first one is that scanning-search and evaluation-judgment can influence a company's performance (financial, non-financial) through opportunity recognition, with the exception of association-connection, which is a sub-factor of entrepreneurial alertness. Secondly, it was found to affect a company's financial and non-financial performance through opportunity recognition for financing mentoring, technical support mentoring, and management support mentoring. Thirdly, it was found that the number of mentoring also affects the financial and non-financial performance of a company through opportunity recognition. The implications of this study are that it should be revisited that program managers consider rooms that do not violate the startup founder's strategic decision-making opportunities when designing and operating the program as entrepreneurial alertness sub-factor association-connection does not affect corporate performance through opportunity recognition. This study also emphasizes the need for customized mentoring to meet the outcome goals of each startup, as it has been empirically clarified that the mentoring provided to the startup by the government's support is important. The contribution of this research is that entrepreneurial alertness and opportunity recognition that are treated as important components in research for entrepreneurship, and the factors of mentoring and mentoring frequency that are recognized as important elements in the practical aspect of startup business are clarified theoretically and empirically as an influential factor in corporate performance. And this study also provide a rationale for the startup business support agency supplying mentoring.

This paper investigates the effects of entrepreneurs' cognitive biases on business opportunity evaluation, given their strong entrepreneurial spirit, which is characterized by innovation, proactivity, and risk-taking. When making decisions related to business activities, entrepreneurs typically make rational judgments based on their knowledge, experience, and the advice of external experts. However, in situations of extreme stress or when quick decisions are required, they often rely on heuristics based on their cognitive biases. In particular, we often see cases where entrepreneurs fail because they make decisions based on heuristics in the process of evaluating and selecting new business opportunities that are planned to guarantee the growth and sustainability of their companies. This study was conducted in response to the need for research to clarify the effects of entrepreneurs' cognitive biases on new business opportunity evaluation, given that the cognitive biases of entrepreneurs, which are formed by repeated successful experiences, can sometimes lead to business failure. Although there have been many studies on the effects of cognitive biases on entrepreneurship and opportunity evaluation among university students and general people who aspire to start a business, there have been few studies that have clarified the relationship between cognitive biases and social networks among entrepreneurs. In contrast to previous studies, this study conducted empirical surveys of entrepreneurs only, and also conducted research on the relationship with social networks. For the study, a survey was conducted using a parallel survey method using online mobile surveys and self-report questionnaires from 150 entrepreneurs of small and medium-sized enterprises. The results of the study showed that 'overconfidence' and 'illusion of control', among the independent variables of entrepreneurs' cognitive biases, had a statistically significant positive(+) effect on business opportunity evaluation. In addition, it was confirmed that the moderating variable, social network, moderates the effect of overconfidence on business opportunity evaluation. This study showed that entrepreneurs' cognitive biases play a role in the process of evaluating and selecting new business opportunities, and that social networks play a role in moderating the structural relationship between entrepreneurs' cognitive biases and business opportunity evaluation. This study is expected to be of great help not only to entrepreneurs, but also to entrepreneur education and policy making, by showing how entrepreneurs can use cognitive biases in a positive way and the influence of social networks.

In order to accelerate the progress for success, Daedeok INNOPOLIS have arranged an opportunity for 21st century new industry development, improved growth of technology-intensive SMEs, reinforced academic-industrial cooperation, and established innovative ecosystem. Daedeok INNOPOLIS is considered as an outstanding case of endogenous development strategy of Technopolis. This study attempts to consider the endogenous development strategy of Technopolis in Korea through the analysis of development characteristics of Daedeok INNOPOLIS in two different perspectives: changes of spatial structure and establishment of innovation ecosystem. Daedeok INNOPOLIS have experienced a series of endogenous growth that is consisted of advancement strategy and structural changes, which allowed Daedeok research town to grow into an innovative cluster. A sign of growth of Daedeok INNOPOLIS became apparent when its strategy to reinforce the academic-industry cooperation system by promoting participation from universities helped to overcome a functional limitation as a research institute integrated for the establishment of innovative ecosystem. Since then, the center for creative economy and innovation established in cooperation with large enterprise, has a role to build a startup ecosystem and to promote next level of development such as proactive fostering of venture companies for sustainable technopolis development.

This study analyzes the spatial characteristics of knowledge industry which has shown relatively rapid growth in the low-growth economy situation in recent years. In particular, we catch hold of the locational characteristics of the knowledge service industry which occupies the highest ratio by professional-expert jobs favoured by young generations, as well as estimate their occupational employment opportunities. By applying Location Quotient(LQ) and LISA, we reveal the spatial distribution patterns of publishing business, information service business and education service business in the Seoul Metropolitan area, and examine the changes in the spatial patterns during the last ten years. In order to understand the socio-economic factors which explain their locations, we apply the stepwise multiple regression analysis. Furthermore, we predict the changes distribution of Knowledge service industrial employment by applying Markov Chain Model. As the result, we found their clusters at the specific locations, while there is the significant variations in the socio-economic variables related their locations respectively. The related job opportunities of the knowledge service businesses in the Seoul Metropolitan area are predicted steady growth trend for the next four years, even though dull or stagnant trend is expected for other industries. This study provides basic resources to the planning for young generation employment problem.
The Lifelong Learning City Project has made quantitative expansion as well as qualitative growth since 2001 but the project has been criticized by academic scholars and field practitioners. The Lifelong Learning City Project is a national policy project which has been promoted by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development and should be required to make production profits proportional to the amount of public finance. The Lifelong Learning City Project is a community development project intended to promote growth and progress by supporting the community in lifelong learning endeavors. Therefore, the community development theory could offer guidelines to the Lifelong Learning City Project. Based on this assumption, this study intends to investigate the Lifelong Learning City Project at the national, city, and county levels using the community development theory. The improvement methods of the Lifelong Learning City Project are role allotment between national and wide level projects supporting organizations, and the establishment of a system and a long term project policy. In addition, the project is to have a more systematic performance. It is to enhance opportunities for community members' participation, and practice in planning, performance of learning, and the proper performance in regard to the community conditions and specificity. The most important goal of the Lifelong Learning City Project is to support the empowerment of community members by making opportunity planning, practicing and sharing lifelong learning more accessible.
With the saturation of the local market, the domestic media industry is searching for new growth drivers by crossing over to other industries, but due to the limited size of the market, results fail to meet expectations. Despite its strengths in cultural contents, as verified by the Korean Wave Hallyu, and advanced platform services, the industry feels threatened by the entry of global foreign media businesses in the domestic arena. This and the stagnated growth in the local media market are challenges we are facing today. On the other hand, it could prove to be a timely opportunity to transform the existing media industry structure where exporting hardware and terminals is at the heart of a globalized business into a structure based on software and contents exports. Based on such critical thinking, this study examines the current status of media markets, home and abroad, and aims to come up with strategic measures through a discussion on the issues and methods proposed for the globalization of local media businesses from a holistic viewpoint based on ecosystem, M&A and contents.

The main selection parameters used by forage grass (rye and Italian rye grass) breeders are dry-matter yield, seasonal growth, persistency, disease resistance, heading date, and heading. These characteristics can all be identified usually in the segregating F2 population, however characteristics such as soluble carbohydrate level, protein, lipid and digestibility cannot be identified. The emphasis of this work is to introduce a quantitative selection process for characterization of herbage quality e.g. protein, water-soluble carbohydrates, fiber fractions, dry matter digestibility. NIRS calibrations are currently being developed for identifying grass genotypes to assist the selection process, thereby allowing the opportunity to actively breed improved herbage quality. The changes in fibre fractions, associated components and digestibility of a number of grass clones at different growth stages are being assessed changes taking place during a growing season. This will provide a database of the major changes taking place during a growing season. Attempts to classify quality differences between genotypes will be carried out using multivariate analysis of the spectral data. I addition changes associated with maturity of grass will be considered in order to develop robust calibrations.

This paper investigates the determinants on decision to conduct seasoned equity offerings (SEOs) of listed companies on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange in Vietnam. Seasoned equity offerings (SEOs) are defined as the issue of more stocks by a firm to raise more capital after a primary issue. Using panel data collected from audited financial statements of 99 listed companies on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange during 2014-2018, the study employs a logit regression model by fixed effects method to examine factors that affect the decision to implement seasoned equity offerings of those companies. The findings of this study show that profit, revenue growth and company's size have a positively significant impact on the decision, while dividend pay-out ratio negatively significantly influences the equity issuing decision. Furthermore, these results are robust after controlling for the forms of equity offerings, i.e. bonus stocks, stock dividends and rights to buy shares. These findings are consistent with economic theories such as agency theory, pecking order theory, and growth opportunity theory, and also could be explained by the real situations of the Vietnamese stock exchange. This study has important implications for corporate managers, policy makers and investors.

High quality $VO_2$ thin films were successfully grown on GaN substrate by optimizing oxygen partial pressure during the growth using RF sputtering technique. The $VO_2$ thin film grown on GaN substrate exhibited an unusual metal insulator transition behavior, which was known to be observed only either in doped sample or under uniaxial stress. Raman spectra also confirmed that metal insulator transition occurred from monoclinic M1 to rutile R phase via monoclinic M2 phase with increasing temperature. We believe that large lattice mismatch between $VO_2$ and GaN substrate may cause M2 phase to be thermodynamically stable. Optical transmittance and its electrical switching behavior were carefully investigated to elucidate the underlying physics of its metal insulator transition behavior. This study may lead to a unique opportunity to better understand the growth mechanism of M2 phase dominant $VO_2$ thin films.
