This study was conducted to investigate genetic characteristics of 25 Pleurotus eringii strains that have been released in Korea based on cultural, morphological features and PCR fingerprints. Strains PER-007 and PER-012 showed distinct cultural characteristics in growth rate, morphological characteristics of mycelial colony and fruiting bodies when compared to those of other strains. Strain PER-007 did not form primordium initiation in sawdust medium and PER-012 also showed different phenotypes on fruiting bodies. Eleven URP primers were used to detect PCR polymophic bands in P. eringii strains. Primers URP1F, URP2R, URP2F, URP4R, URP6R, URP9F and URP17R were selected as useful primers for amplifying PCR polymorphic bands in P. eringii strains. The genetic similarity index was calculated by using PCR polymorphic bands amplified by eight URP primers among the 25 strains. The P. eringii strains were grouped by four distinct clusters on the UPGMA analysis. The genetic similarity values ranged from 100% to 76% were observed in three major groups, suggesting close genetic relatedness of them. Exceptionally, PER-007 and PER-017 were involved in outgroup.
This experiment was carried out to select some herbicides for edible wild greens, Album monanthum, Petasites japonicus, and Aster scaber. The herbicides tested were napropamide 21.8% EC, nitralin 50% WP, and pendimethalin 31.7% EC. Dorminant weeds in the field were Echinochloa crus-galli, Digitaria sanguinalis, Persicaria hydropiper, Chenopodium album, and Siegesbeckia pubescens. Simpson's index was calculated to 0.26~0.30, which showed that weed occurrence in the field was quite various. Control efficacy in the field treated with napropamide EC 872g(ai/ha)., nitralin WP 1,000g(ai/ha), and pendimethalin EC 634g(ai/ha) were 81.4%~85.6%, 79.4%~82.8%, and 86.8%~92.2%, respectively. The typical phytotoxic symptoms to herbicides were germination inhibition, growth retardation, and malformation.

Bacterial diversity was studied in the rhizosphere of Suaeda japonica Makino, which is native to Suncheon Bay in South Korea. Soil samples from several sites were diluted serially, and pure isolation was performed by subculture using marine agar and tryptic soy agar media. Genomic DNA was extracted from 29 pure, isolated bacterial strains, after which their 16S rDNA sequences were amplified and analyzed. Phylogenetic analysis was performed to confirm their genetic relationship. The 29 bacterial strains were classified into five groups: phylum Firmicutes (44.8%), Gamma proteobacteria group (27.6%), Alpha proteobacteria group (10.3%), phylum Bacteriodetes (10.3%), and phylum Actinobacteria (6.8%). The most widely distributed genera were Bacillus (phylum Firmicutes), and Marinobacterium, Halomonas, and Vibrio (Gamma proteobacteria group). To confirm the bacterial diversity in rhizospheres of S. japonica, the diversity index was used at the genus level. The results show that bacterial diversity differed at each of the sampling sites. These 29 bacterial strains are thought to play a major role in material cycling at Suncheon Bay, in overcoming the sea/mud flat-specific environmental stress. Furthermore, some strains are assumed to be involved in a positive interaction with the halophyte S. japonica, as rhizospheric flora, with induction of growth promotion and plant defense mechanism.
The trends of green growth and eco-friendliness came to be the core development indicator for the sustainable global environment. Korean government reflected these trends in the main flows of the national development index, and suggested diverse directions for green construction technologies and high quality construction environment through Third master plan for construction environment. However, the efforts to follow these trends during the construction process as a step for production phrase are not being considered enough yet. In this study, we identified the basic environmental management factors in order to enhance the eco-friendliness of public housing construction sites, and suggested the reasonable conducting parties and process for those respective factors. The results of this study are expected to be the valuable reference in defining the required activities and participants' responsibilities, and improving the work process for systematic on-site environmental management. In applying those results, the discussion should be followed on the executing party of each unit activity and the responsibility assignment for each process. At the same time, the legislation and standard related to environment need to be essentially amended. In the future, the method of evaluating the environmental management activities, and the technical solution to environmental problems are to be reviewed as a further research for successful environmental management.
Biotechnology is considered a new propeller to national economic growth. Although BT-based converging technology is one of keywords in nowadays, few studies analyze the characteristics of Korean BT convergence market. This study has conducted the analysis of BT-based converging technology market by using patent database in KIPO (Korean Intellectual Property Office) from 2000 to 2010. We, especially, have classified BT convergence into homogeneous and heterogeneous ones, and compare the nature of BT convergence market with that of non-convergence one. To achieve the object of this study, the following methods are used: concentration across IPC technological classes; concentration of patenting activity across firms; PFS (Patent Family Size) index. Furthermore, according to FOS technology-industry table, we have intended to find new converging industry of BT heterogeneous converging technologies. As very few studies have focused on Korean converging technology market so far, this analysis is considered to be meaningful. It is found that the market of BT converging technology is rather robust than that of BT non-converging one, which refers that BT convergence shows the tendency of concentration towards few technologies by few conglomerate firms in Korea. Meanwhile, we have derived a BINET keyword map to research the convergence of sub-technologies in detail and the related industries. We expect the implications of this study to be utilized in establishing the BT-based converging technology policy.
Purpose - This study examines the adverse press coverage that has increased in proportion to the remarkable growth of various kinds of franchise businesses in the food service industry. Today, the trust of franchisees in relation to their franchisor, and the maintenance of good relations between the two, has become a significant social issue. This study investigates relationship satisfaction and the long-term commitment between the franchisor and franchisee. Research design, data, methodology - We used a path analysis to investigate the relationship between justice and trust, trust and relationship satisfaction, justice and relationship satisfaction, trust and long-term commitment, and relationship satisfaction and long-term commitment. Structural Equation Modeling and a Sobel test were used to investigate the mediating effects of trust and relationship satisfaction. Data were collected from 237 Food Franchisees in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province in order to test the theoretical model and its hypotheses. Two research methodologies are generally used in the distribution management field. For this study, an empirical method was used. Results - A causal analysis was carried out to test if the research model has a sufficient fit index (for instance, χ2 = 46.694, df = 10, p = .000, GFI = 0.946, AGFI = 0.850, RMR = 0.034, NFI = 0.966, CFI = 0.973), and the results showed that the model was sufficient, thus demonstrating the suitability of the research model. Each hypothesis had a positive influence, both on long-term commitment and relationship satisfaction. Justice with the franchisor had a positive influence on trust. Relation satisfaction cognized by franchisees was found to positively influence long-term commitment. The franchisee perception of justice in relation to the franchisor had no significant influence on long-term commitment. The study investigated the hypothesis that trust could mediate justice and long-term commitment, and that relationship satisfaction could also mediate long-term commitment Both trust and relationship satisfaction were found to be important for long-term commitment. Specifically, trust sub-factors and justice sub-factors influenced long-term commitment. Identification-based and knowledge-based trust were more important than calculus-based trust. Distributive justice was deemed more important than procedural justice; distributive justice should thus be strengthened. Conclusions - Both franchisor and franchisee were independent businesses. Evidently however, the franchisor could not ensure profit without long-term commitment from the franchisee. As for the success of the franchise business, the franchisor should carry out appropriate strategies leading to a satisfactory relationship. For example, transparency makes it possible to maintain and enhance trust and to improve relationship satisfaction. Just relations between franchisor and franchisee should make it possible to maintain and enhance the franchisee's trust. The franchisor should provide a variety of information with respect to the franchisee's business success. Finally, in order to improve the franchisee's long-term commitment, the franchisor should ensure a just approach with trust and relationship satisfaction among their strategies.

To investigate effects of ethylacetate fraction of onion(EFO) on serum lipid metabolism in rats fed high cholesterol diet, four groups of Sprague-Dawley male rats weighing about 100 g were given a high cholesterol diet of 1% cholesterol and 0.25% sodium cholate and EFO containing three concentrations (1%, 3% and 10%), respectively for 6 weeks. growth rate of the hypercholesterolemic group (control group) was higher than the normal group, whereas the groups given EFO showed a decreasing trends, compared with the control group, especially the most excellent effect in 10% of EFO, but any differences were not found between groups in feed efficiency ratio. Serum concentrations of total cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol were lower, whereas HDL-cholesterol concentration was significantly higher in EFO suplemented-grups than control group in dose dependent manner. EFO increased HDL-cholesterol/total cholesterol ratio and lowered atherogenic index. Free cholesterol and triglyceride concentrations were not decreased significantly with in 6 weeks, but cholesteryl ester concentration was significantly decreased in EFO suplemented groups than control group, and in case of serum phospholipid concentration, EFO was not showed significantly effect, but it gradually increased the level, compared with the control group. Therefore, it might be expected that ethylacetate fraction of onion is believed to be a possible protective or curative effects for the fatty liver and hyperlipidemia-induced by a high cholesterol diet.
This study was carried out to analysis the structure of forest vegetation at the southern and northern slopes of Mt. Kum in Namhae. The results obtained were summarized as follows : The upper layer of south slope at the altitude of 100m was only distributed at Pinus thunbergii and Pinus densiflora. According to increase of altitude, the importance value of Pinus thunbergii was more decreased. In the upper layer of north slope, importance value of Pinus thunbergii was very high in the altitude of 100m, and was very low in the 200m. And also, importance value of Quercus variabilis and Steuortia koreana was high from 200m to 600m. The number of individuals of Pinus thunbergii and Pinus densiflora in the south slope were more increased than those of the north slope. The distributional class of D.B.H, showed an equal tendency in south and north slope, especially-Quercus variabilis and Quercus serrata had a good growth in north slope. The stand density in the upper lacer was high in south slope but mean acreage and mean distance of individual trees showed low. The species diversity indices were relatively lower in south slope than in north slope, and the maximum of species diversity showed slightly high in south slope. The evenness showed lower in south slope than in north slope relatively. By the cluster analysis used the similarity.
In Korea, Torreya nucifera (L.) Siebold & Zuccarini is widely distributed in the warm temperate zone of South coastal area and Jeju island, mainly as preserved forest in the vicinity of the Buddhist temple and Confucian temple. The objective of this study is in order to develop the conservation method and comprehension of vegetation community by current vegetation structure analysis of Torreya nucifera stand. As the results, the number of surveyed species in Torreya nucifera stand were total 148 species with 28 species of tree layer, 38 species of subtree layer, and 82 species of shrub layer. The appearance of the common species were Ligustrum obtusifolium Siebold & Zucc., Hedera rhombea Bean, and Trachelospermum asiaticum Nakai var. asiaticum. All the story of the surveyed region, Torreya nucifera maintained the current dominant species, but the subtree layer and shrub layer was decreased dominant rate because of the development of the crown of tree layer and biased growth of the subtree layer. Most of the tree layer and subtree layer in Torreya nucifera stands are composed of the sprout forest. Therefore, these results suggest that in order to maintain the healthy stand it is demanded for the application of selection thinning method for reducing crown competition in Torreya nucifera forests.
The purpose of this study is to examine the current status and components of Korean National Debt and to analyze the effects of each component on National Debt. In the Korean Statistical Information Service (KOSIS), we searched for data such as General Accounting Deficit Conservation, For Foreign Exchange Market Stabilization, For Common Housing Stability, Local Government Net Debt Public Funds, etc that constitute National Debt. The analysis period used a total of 23 annual data from 1997 to 2019. The data collected in this study use the rate of change compared to the previous year for each component. Using this, this study attempted index analysis, numerical analysis, and model analysis. Correlation analysis result, the National Debt has a high relationship with the For Common Housing Stability. For Foreign Exchange Market Stabilization, Public Funds, etc., but has a low relationship with the Local Government Net Debt. Since 1997, National Debt has been increasing similarly to the For Foreign Exchange Market Stabilization, For Common Housing Stability and Public Funds etc. Since 2020, Korea is expected to increase significantly in terms of For Common Housing Stability and Public Funds, etc due to Corona19. At a time when the global economic situation is difficult, Korea's National Debt is expected to increase significantly due to the use of national disaster subsidies. However, if possible, the government expects to operate efficiently for economic growth and financial market stability.
