재활 프로그램을 적용한 코칭 운동과 자가 운동이 견관절 충돌증후군 환자의 견부통증, 근력 및 일상생활기능에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Rehabilitation Programs with Couching Exercise or Home Exercise on Shoulder Pain, Muscle Strength, and Daily Living Functions in Patients with Shoulder Impingement Syndrome)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the effects of rehabilitation programs with coaching exercise (CE) or home exercise (HE) on shoulder pain, muscle strength, and daily living functions (DLF) in patients with shoulder impingement syndrome. Methods: With quasi-experimental design, thirty patients (15 CE and 15 HE) participated in rehabilitation programs for 12 weeks. At first, data were collected for pain and DLF using questionnaires with testing muscle strength and range of motion. Then, subjects were allowed to receive training on rehabilitation with structured training materials. CE group visited sports center three times a week at P hospital and HE group did self-exercise at home. Data were analyzed using SPSS program. Results: After 12 weeks, both groups showed statistically significant changes in improving pain, muscle strength, and DLF. Compare to HE group, CE group showed a statistically significant improvement in shoulder pain (p=.021), muscle strength in internal rotation (p=.001) and abduction (p=.013) and DLF (p=.012). Conclusion: Rehabilitation programs for patients with shoulder impingement syndrome were effective to improve pain, muscle strength, and DLF. Although CE would bring the better effects, it is possible to apply HE through structured education to patients who are difficult to visit hospitals.

금연동기단계에 따른 코칭프로그램이 환자 금연에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Smoking Cessation Coaching Program based on Motivation Stage to Stop Smoking of Patients at a Public Hospital)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 N시에 소재한 공공병원의 금연클리닉 프로그램을 이용한 흡연 환자(입원 및 외래 포함)를 대상으로 Prochaska와 Diclemente의 변화단계모형(Transtheoretical Model, TTM)을 적용한 금연동기단계에 따른 코칭프로그램 참여 전과 후 대상자의 흡연량, 니코틴의존도, 호기 일산화탄소 농도, 소변 코티닌의 차이를 확인하기 위함이다. 연구설계는 금연동기에 따른 코칭프로그램이 환자들의 금연에 미치는 효과를 확인하기 위해 대상자의 흡연량, 니코틴의존도, 호기 일산화탄소 농도, 소변 코티닌을 프로그램 전, 2주, 6주 후간의 차이를 비교하는 다중반복 간헐적 시계열 설계연구이다. 본 연구에서 활용된 자료는 2011년 공공보건의료프로그램 중 금연프로그램을 통해 수집된 2차 자료를 활용하였다. 코칭프로그램은 6주동안 중재가 진행되며, 첫방문, 2주째 방문, 6주째 방문에 제공되며, 12주째 금연 유지 상태를 점검한다. 연구대상자의 교육 전과 교육 후 흡연량, 니코틴 의존도, 호기 일산화탄소 농도, 소변 코티닌 차이는 카이제곱 검정과 t-test로 비교하였다. 이 연구대상자는 총 47명이며, 남자는 44명(93.62%), 여자는 3명(6.38%)으로 대부분 남자였다. 금연동기단계별 대상자 수는 실천단계가 4명(8.51%), 준비단계는 43명(91.49%)이었다. 금연동기단계에 따른 코칭프로그램 전과 후를 비교한 결과, 실천단계 집단은 대부분 프로그램 전과 후 흡연량, 니코틴의존도, '0'상태를 유지하였다. 준비단계 집단은 흡연량, 니코틴의존도, 호기 일산화탄소가 프로그램 전과 6주후 유의한 차이를 보이면 감소한 것으로 나타났다(p<.001). 환자들을 대상으로 한 병원 현장에서의 금연코칭 프로그램은 매우 효과적임을 확인할 수 있었다. 하지만, 환자들을 대상으로 한 금연프로그램은 건강한 사람들에 비해 인적 재정적 부담이 더 높다. 따라서 환자들의 금연을 위해 적극적인 인적, 재정적 지원이 있어야 할 것이다.

  • This study was conducted to investigate whether exercise therapy applied in an efficacy expectation promoting program based on the self-efficacy theory of Bandura(1977) would increase self-efficacy and metabolism in NIDDM patients. The study design was a nonequivalent control group pre-test post-test quasi-experimental desist The exercise therapy applied in the efficacy expectation promoting program was composed of a staged exercise program, a small booklet relating personal experience with diabetes mellitus and a telephone coaching program on performance accomplishment. vicarious experience and verbal persuasion, which are all induction modes of efficacy expectation. The subjects of the study were twenty eight NIDDM patients who received follow-up care regularly through the out-patient department of endocrine medicine in one general hospital which had a diabetic clinic. Fourteen were assigned to the experimental group and fourteen to the control group. The experimental group participated in the exercise therapy applied in the efficacy expectation promoting program from three to five times per week for four weeks and the control group did not have the program. The collected data were analyzed using the X²-test, t-test, paired t-test, and Cronbach's Alpha using SPSS /PC/sup +/. The results are summarized as follows 1. Experimental group had higher efficacy score than control group(t=5.98, p=.00). And. There was a significant different in the efficacy score before exercise therapy applied in the efficacy expectation promoting program and after in experimental group(t=-6.42, p=.00). 2. Experimental group did not have lower level of glucose metabolism than control group(FBS : t=.32, p=.75, HbAlC : t=.60, p=.55, pc 2hrs. glucose : t=-.29, p=.78). But, There was a significant different in the aunt of glucose metabolism before exercise therapy applied in the efficacy expectation promoting program and after in experimental group(FBS : t=3.63, p=.003, HbAlC t=4.20, p=.00, pc 2hrs. glucose : t=1.93, p=.001). 3. Levels of lipid metabolism were partly a significant different between Experimental group and control group(triglyceride t=-1.87, p=.07, HDL cholesterol : t=-.29, p=.77. body weight : t=1.78, p=.09, Total cholesterol : t=-2.17, p=.04). And, There was partly a significant different in the amount of lipid metabolism before exercise therapy applied in the efficacy expectation promoting program and after in experimental group(triglyceride : t=2.50, p=.03, HDL cholesterol : t=-.43, p=.67, body weight : t=5.34. p=.00, Total cholesterol : t=2.26, p=.04). In conclusion, it was found that exercise therapy applied in an efficacy expectation promoting program was an effective nursing intervention for increasing self-efficacy and metabolism.

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the effects of self-efficacy promoting program on self-efficacy, self-care behavior and psychosocial adaptation in patients with a colostomy. Method: A non-equivalent control group pre test post test design was used. The self efficacy promoting programs was composed of a CD image program based on varicaious experience, education and telephone coaching program based on verbal persuasion, and Stoma care practice, and Self care performance based on performance accomplishment. This study was carried out from July 2, 2005 to April 20, 2006 and 21 patients with a colostomy at one of 2 hospitals participated. Descriptive statistics, ${\chi}^2-test$, and Mann-whitney U test were used to analyze the data. Results: There were significantly different for specific self efficacy, self care and psychosocial adaptation between the experimental group and control group. Conclusion: The self efficacy promoting program for patients with stomas was effective in improving degree of specific self efficacy, self care and psychosocial adaptation.

낙상예방 프로그램이 노인의 체력, 낙상효능감 및 낙상예방행위에 미치는 효과 (Effects of a Fall Prevention Program on Physical Fitness, Fall Efficacy and Fall Prevention Behavior among Community-dwelling Older Adults)

  • Purpose: This research was conducted to determine the effects of fall prevention exercise and education on physical fitness, fall efficacy, and fall prevention behavior among community-dwelling older adults. Methods: This study applied nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected from January 8th to March 4th, 2015. There were 24 subjects in the experimental group and 21 in the control group from two different senior citizen center in B city. The fall prevention program consisted of exercise, education, and telephone coaching was developed using self-efficacy theory: 'Performance accomplishment', 'Vicarious experience', 'Verbal persuasion', 'Emotional arousal'. Then, it was conducted once a week for 8 weeks. Data were analyzed with $x^2$ test and t-test using the SPSS program. Results: The findings indicated that fall prevention program conducted on older adults is good for improving their muscular strength in lower extremities (t=6.25, p<.001), physical balance (t=2.66, p=.014), physical flexibility (t=2.88, p<.001) and fall prevention behavior (t=6.19, p<.001). Conclusion: The fall prevention program can be used for community-dwelling older adults as a nursing intervention that enables older adults to enhance their self-care continuously. It is necessary to conduct a follow-up study to see if a self-help meeting could improve self-efficacy.

자비명상이 대학생들의 마음챙김, 회복 탄력성 및 스트레스에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Loving-Kindness Meditation Intervention with Tea on the Mindfulness, Resilience, and Stress of College Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 자비명상 프로그램이 대학생들의 마음챙김, 회복 탄력성, 스트레스에 미치는 효과를 검증하기 위하여 실시하였다. 본 프로그램에 참여한 대학생은 C지역의 N대학에서 교양과정에 등록한 30명을 추첨을 통하여 실험집단 및 통제집단에 각각 15명씩 무선할당하였다. 실험집단 참여자는 매주 1회씩 80분 동안 10주에 걸쳐 10회기의 자비명상 프로그램 참여하였다. 마음챙김, 회복 탄력성 및 스트레스 수준을 사전, 사후, 추후에 각각 측정하여 반복측정 분산분석을 실시한 결과, 실험집단 참여자들은 통제집단의 참여자들보다 마음챙김 수준이 유의미하게 증가하였다. 회복 탄력성 전체 점수 및 하위요인인 통제성, 낙관성 및 사회성에서도 유의미한 수준의 차이가 나타났다. 스트레스 수준 또한 전체 점수 및 긴장, 공격성, 신체화, 화, 우울, 피로, 좌절의 각 하위척도에서도 유의미한 수준의 차이가 나타났다. 이상의 결과는 자비명상 프로그램이 대학생들의 마음챙김, 회복 탄력성, 스트레스 감소에 긍정적 효과가 있음이 밝혀졌다. 따라서 본 자비명상 프로그램은 대학생들의 마음챙김 능력을 함양하고, 회복탄력성을 증진시키고, 스트레스를 완화하는 대안적 프로그램으로 활용할 수 있음을 시사한다. 본 연구에서 한계점과 향후 후속연구에서 필요성을 제언하였다.

스트레스 상황에서 어머니의 정서조절 수준에 따른 어머니-자녀 간 상호작용 분석 (Mother-Child Interactions in a Stressful Situation by Mother's Emotional Regulation Level)

  • Objective: This study analyzed mother-child interactions in a stressful situation each second by mother's emotional regulation level. Methods: The study was conducted with 16 mothers and their 5-year-old children playing a teaching task for 15 min. During the interactions, the participants were videotaped and examined. Furthermore, qualitative analysis was used for analyzing mother-child interactions in detail by creating a situation that maximizes the stress and frustration of the mother and child. Results: The results showed that maternal humor and affection were significantly related to child positive emotion and that maternal coaching closely correlated with the child pride, pleasure, and whining. Additionally, maternal intrusive behavior showed a positive correlation with child anger. Lastly, mothers with higher levels of emotional regulation more often expressed affection to their children. They were more actively involved in the tasks and used fewer positive or negative directive expressions. Therefore, children of this group expressed more positive emotions. Conclusion: These findings suggests that programs improving parental emotional reaction and emotion regulation should be developed.

Effects of Taekwondo and Walking Exercises on the Double-Leg Balance Control of Elderly Females

  • The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the effect of twelve-week Taekwondo and walking exercises on the double-leg balance control by dividing elderly females into Taekwondo, walking exercise and control groups. In total, 30 elderly females were randomly divided into Taekwondo, walking exercise, and control groups, with 10 subjects in each group. Subjects participating in this study were 10(age $69.4{\pm}5.8$ years), 10(age $71.4{\pm}7.6$ years) and 10(age $70.6{\pm}4.8$ years) in the three groups, respectively. Although the AP measures were not significantly different among the groups and times, the ML RMS distance and ML velocity, among the ML measures showed a significant difference among the groups and times. Average velocity and 95% confidence ellipse area were also significantly different among the groups and times. Twelve-week Taekwondo and walking exercises were found to be effective in improving static balance control. Future studies on the development of a Taekwondo intervention program tailored for the elderly with many subjects conducted by using a long-term training program are expected.

The development of intelligent sports gadgets is geared towards elevating overall quality of life by facilitating sports activities, workouts, and promoting health preservation. This categorization yields two primary types of devices: smart sports devices for exercise and smart health control devices, which encompass functionalities such as blood pressure monitoring and muscle volume measurement. Illustrative examples include smart headbands, smart socks, smart wristbands, and smart shoe soles. Significantly, the global market for smart sports devices has garnered substantial popularity among enthusiasts. Moreover, the integration of sensors within these devices has instigated a revolution in group and professional sports, facilitating the calculation of impact intensity and ball speed. The utilization of various types of smart sports equipment has proliferated, encompassing applications in both sports' performance and health monitoring across diverse demographics. 정서기반 학습동기향상 프로그램이 전문대학생의 학습동기와 사회적 지지에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Emotion-Based Learning Motivation Enhancement Program on Learning Motivation and Social Support of College Students)

  • 본 연구는 정서기반 학습동기향상 프로그램이 전문대학생의 학습동기와 사회적 지지에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 개발된 최종 프로그램은 학습동기 I, 학습코칭, 학습동기 II로 총 12회기로 구성되어 있으며, 각 회기마다 자기평가 및 성찰일지를 작성하여 성찰 시간을 갖도록 진행하였다. 연구대상은 G시 소재 K전문대학 재학생들 중 2016학년도 1학기 심리학 관련 교양 교과목을 수강한 공학계열 재학생 38명으로, 실험집단 19명과 통제집단 19명을 비확률 표본 추출에 의거 배치하였다. 실험집단에는 정서기반 학습동기향상 프로그램을 주 강사 1명과 보조 강사 1명 총 2명의 강사로 한 주에 1회기씩 총 12회기가 실시되었고, 자료 분석을 위하여 독립표본 t-검증, 대응표본 t-검증, 회기별 소감문 분석이 실시되었다. 연구결과는 첫째, 정서기반 학습동기 향상 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단은 통제집단에 비하여 학습동기와 하위요인 자신감, 만족감에 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 정서기반 학습동기 향상 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단은 통제집단에 비하여 사회적 지지에서는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 참여 학생들의 소감문 분석에서는 본 프로그램이 학습동기와 사회적 지지에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구결과에 대한 논의 및 함의를 기술하였다.
