지면이륙하는 나비의 날개짓 분석 (Experimental Analysis of the Ground Take-off Flight of a Butterfly)

  • In the present work, high-speed video images of the ground take-off flight of a live butterfly were captured and their dynamic motions during the first full-stroke were analyzed. To capture the dynamic images of the take-off motion, the experimental setup consisted of a high-speed camera, a Xenon lamp as a light source and a transparent chamber of $15^W{\times}15^L{\times}17^H$ $cm^3$ in physical size. The ambient temperature and supplementary lighting devices were precisely controlled. The weight and wing span of the butterfly tested in this study was 104 mg and 63.14 mm, respectively. The ground take-off images were captured with 4000 fps with a spatial resolution of (1024${\times}$512) pixels. The period of the first full-stroke was 80.5ms and the flapping speed of downstroke was 2 times faster than that of upstroke. As a result, butterflies used the fling and near-clap motion to generate lifting force and an interesting take-off behavior of early pronation and downstroke was observed.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the kinetic factors of Stefan holm's take-off motion and provide the technical data. Collected data of the subject(height: 181 cm, weight: 71 kg, record: 230 cm) were used for the last two strides and take-off phase. The results were as follows: The vertical impulse force was 2044.8 N which was 2.49 times and the anterior-posterior impulse force was -1306.4 N which was 1.88 times of the subject's weight. The take-off leg angular velocities($\omega_x,\;\omega_y$) were switched drastically from clockwise to count clockwise direction between two-step touchdown and take-off. The highest jerk of the take-off foot was 368.97 m/s3 during the two step take-off and the take-off foot made an impact to the ground with 1225.07 m/s3 during the one step touchdown.

  • A platform diving with categorizing 624C motion was video taped and 3D kinematic variables were analyzed. This motion is consist of 3 parts from the headstand position to the act of turning after take-off. The results indicated that it took a very short time from the moment of take-off to the act of 1/2 turning because the turning motion has already started from preparing motion even before the fingertips have parted from the ground. Also, there was barely any jumping height due to the use of upper limbs segment and there was little difference in the moving distance compared to the standing events judging from horizontal movement of 1.1m. The horizontal velocity of the center of human body was increased before take-off while the vertical velocity was decreased right after take-off and the velocity of lower limbs segment was faster than the upper limbs segment showing contrary results to the standing events. In the aspects of angular velocity, the upper limbs segment starts the turning motion when take-off by rapidly extending its angular velocity while lower limbs segment make large angular velocity even before take-off.

  • The aim of this paper is to research the change in the turbulent flow and the AOA occurred by $60^{\circ}$ crosswind to the direction of runway through the three-dimensional numerical analysis and to predict the take-off and landing flight stability. As a result, the maximum amplitude of AOA variation on runway reached $4.88^{\circ}$ within 7 second because of the wake formed by the constructions in the vicinity of the airport, and the overall effects appeared as an irregular aperiodic forms. Additionally, it was observed that the layout and shape of the buildings effected on the strength of turbulence directly, and the rapid flow generated between the buildings changed into stronger wake and eventually expected that the flow raises serious take-off and landing flight instability.

  • 본 논문에서는 무인기 자동이착륙을 위해 DGPS와 레이저 고도계를 이용한 고도계산 알고리듬을 제시하였다. 지상시험을 통해 레이저 고도계의 특성을 분석하고 신호의 난반사를 제거하기 위해 저역통과 필터를 설계했으나, 시뮬레이션 결과 단일 센서를 사용해서 지면고도를 정확하고 안정적으로 측정할 수 없음을 확인하였다. 레이저 고도계의 단점을 보완하기 위해 DGPS에서 출력되는 수직방향 속도를 사용하여 선형 칼만필터를 설계하였다. 설계한 필터는 시뮬레이션, 지상시험 그리고 비행시험의 검증단계를 거쳐 자동이착륙에 필요한 정확도를 만족함을 확인하였다.

  • 도심지역 교통문제의 해결책으로 제시되고 있는 UAM의 초기 운영 형태는 다양한 연구에서 현재 항공기 중 VTOL 기체와 유사 할 것으로 제시되고 있다. 고정익 항공기가 이·착륙하는 활주로의 방향 결정과 유사한 형태로 VTOL 기체의 이착륙이 이루어지는 버티포트는 기체의 이·착륙 과정의 출발 및 도착의 비행 방향을 바람의 방향을 고려하여 정하도록 하고 있다. 일반적으로 공항이 건설되는 지역과 다르게 도심지의 경우 새로운 건물의 건축 등 지형 또는 장애물 변화 환경에 따라 바람의 특성이 지속적으로 변화될 수 있는 여건이 예상된다. 본 연구에서는 버티포트의 위치가 예상되는 도심 위치에서 이착륙 방향 검토를 위한 장기간의 실제 관측 데이터를 풍배도를 사용하여 비교 후 관측 기간 및 관측 위치에 따라 지상 바람의 특성과 주 바람의 방향이 변화 가능성을 확인하였다.

고압분사주입공법에 의한 지반개량사례연구(II) -흙막이벽 배면지반보강 및 차수효과 (Case Studies on Ground Improvement by High Pressure Jet Grouting(II) Effect on the Ground Reinforcement and Cut off of Ground Water Behind Temporary Retaining Walls)

  • 지하수위가 높고 느슨한 사질토지반에서 가설흙막이벽을 설치하여 지하굴착공사를 실시할 경우 굴착저면에서 보일링현상이 발생하여 굴착공사 뿐만 아니라 인접구조물에 상당한 피해를 주게 된다. 따라서 최근에는 흙막이벽 배면지반의 강도를 증대시키면서 동시에 흙막이벽의 차수효과를 높이기 위하여 고압분사주입공법을 실시하여 차수벽을 설치하는 보조공법인 널지 이용되고 있다. 고압분사주입공법에 의해 가설흙막이벽 배면지반에 시공된 지반개량체의 지반보강효과 및 차수효과를 검토하기 위하여 각종 실내시험 및 현장시험을 실시하였다. 시험결과 지반개량체는 지반조건과 시공방법에 따라 약간의 차이는 있으나 충분한 흙막이벽 배면지반의 보강 및 벽체의 강성보강 효과를 얻을 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 지반개량체의 투수계수는 원지반의 투수 계수보다 10-2~10-3cm/s정도 작아서 흙막이벽의 차수효과를 기대할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The paper introduces the state-of-the art of WIG ship and application field of the CFD to WIG ship development. WIG ships are highly efficient and fast transport vehicles which take advantage of benefits of ground effect. Chapter 1 describes the characteristics of WIG ship. Chapter 2 reviews the research works of Russia, German, Chinese, Korea and etc. Chapter 3 explains the kind of WIG ship categorized by the main operational mode and take-off system. Chapter 4 describes about the application field of CFD to WIG ship development procedure.

사범계 체육전공 대학생의 높이뛰기 기록에 영향을 미치는 운동역학적 변인 분석 (An Analysis of Kinetic Variables That Affect High Jump Record of Students Who were Majoring in Physical Education)

  • This study aims to comparatively analyze kinetic variables that affect high jump records and thus to provide the basic data for enhancement of physical education teachers' teaching skills and expertise. 10 students who were majoring in physical education in a college of education - five males and five females - were chosen for the experiment in which the 3D image analyzer and ground reaction force measuring unit were adopted. The kinetic variables of the groups, the characteristics and differences were analyzed, and the correlation between each variable and record in each group was examined. The results are as follows: As to the height of center of gravity from one step before stamping to landing, the vertical velocity of the center of gravity at take off, the vertical velocity of the limbs at take off, the angles of the hip joint and ankle joint of the jumping leg, it turned out that male were better than female. As to the angles of the hip joint and ankle joint of the lead leg, female recorded higher values than male. As to the maximum vertical ground reaction force, the maximum horizontal ground reaction force, the vertical impulse, it turned out that male were better than female.

  • The number of jet aircraft is increasing. The aircraft noise making people near airports nervous have become a serious social problem. The aircraft noise can be classified into two groups; noise being generated at take-off or landing and noise form run-up test on the ground. In this paper, we consider the aircraft noise from run-up test on the pound and we suggest the noise suppression system.
