UTM 투영에 의한 고차 좌표변환 (Higher Order Coordinates Conversion for UTM Projection)

  • 경도 $14^{\circ}$ 범위보다 넓은 구역에 대한 UTM 좌표변환을 위하여 12차 Taylor 전개에 의한 새로운 변환식을 유도하였고 이는 Thomas(1952)의 식을 확장한 것임을 보였다. WGS84와 UTM 좌표의 상호변환에 대한 계산 결과를 나타내었고 차수에 따른 수렴의 정도도 분석하였다. 본 변환식은 우리나라 주변의 조석 또는 지진해일과 같은 장주기 파랑의 전파를 위한 수치모형의 직교좌표 격자구성에 사용될 수 있다.

  • 스마트그리드는 기존의 전력망과 정보통신 기술을 융합하여 에너지 효율을 최적화할 수 있는 차세대 지능형 전력망이다. 현재까지 표준화 및 호환성에 대한 해결책이 진행 중인 가운데 스마트그리드 사업은 소비자에게는 전력요금의 실시간 확인을 통해 능동적인 전력소비를 유도하고, 공급자에게는 예상 발전량 측정을 통해 보다 안정적인 전력 시스템을 운용하도록 할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 활발하게 스마트 산업이 발전함에 따라 AMI 시스템의 원격제어 시스템을 구현하기 위해서 무선 통신이 많이 고려되고 있으며 ZigBee 센서를 이용한 무선 통신을 다양한 분야에 적용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 스마트그리드 환경에서 적용되고 있는 ZigBee 무선 통신 환경의 주소 지정 방식과 라우팅 알고리즘의 성능을 향상시키기 위한 새로운 좌표 값 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 기존 알고리즘을 이용한 분산 주소 할당 기법의 낭비되는 주소공간의 문제를 해결하기 위해 (x, y) 2개의 좌표축을 제안하여 16bit 주소공간을 분할하여 사용한다. 각 노드에서 라우팅 시 좌표 값을 이용하여 적은 비트별 연산이 수행되며 멀티 홉을 감소시킬 수 있다. 이에 대한 성능 분석으로 제안한 알고리즘은 수학적 분석 모델을 사용하였고 ZigBee 무선 통신 환경의 계층적 라우팅에서 사용하는 경로 벡터를 사용하여 센서 노드의 멀티 홉 카운트 결과를 도출하였다. 수학적 분석결과 ZigBee 분산 주소 할당 기법과 기존 알고리즘에 비해 평균 멀티 홉의 수가 감소함으로써 에너지 효율이 향상됨을 입증하였다.

연직좌표변환을 이용한 하구에서의 염수침투에 관한 2차원 수치모의 (Two-Dimensional Numerical Simulation of Saltwater intrusion in Estuary with Sigma-Coordinate Transformation)

  • A more complete two-dimensional vertical numerical model has been developed to describe the saltwater intrusion in an estuary. The model is based on the previous studies in order to obtain a better accuracy. The non-linear terms of the governing equations are analyzed and the $\sigma$-coordinate system is employed in the vertical direction with full transformation which is recently issued in several studies because numerical errors can be generated during the coordinate transformation of the diffusion term. The advection terms of the governing equations are discretized by an upwind scheme in second-order of accuracy. By employing an explicit scheme for the longitudinal direction and an implicit scheme for the vertical direction, the numerical model is free from the restriction of temporal step size caused by a relatively small grid ratio. In previous researches, some terms induced from the transformation have been intentionally excluded since they are asked the complicate discretization of the numerical model. However, the lack of these terms introduces significant errors during the numerical simulation of scalar transport problems, such as saltwater intrusion and sediment transport in an estuary. The numerical accuracy attributable to the full transformation is verified by comparing results with a previous model in a simply sloped topography. The numerical model is applied to the Han River estuary. Very reasonable agreements for salinity intrusion are observed.

부가물이 부착된 Wigley선형 주위의 점성유동 해석 (A Numerical Computation of Viscous Flow around a Wigley Hull For with Appendages)

  • 본 연구에서는 수치계산을 동하여 선체-부가물 주위의 난류유동을 해석하였다. 지배방정식으로는 Navier-Stokes방정식과 연속방정식을 사용하였으며, 선체 및 부가물의 3차원 형상을 정도 높게 표현하기 위하여 물체적합좌표계 (Body-Fitted Coordinate System)를 도입하였다. 지배방정식들은 유한체적법 (Finite Volume Method)을 이용하여 이산화 하였으며, 난류모형으로는 SGS (Sub-Grid Scale)모형을 사용하였다. 계산 대상 선형으로 실험 및 계산 자료가 많은 Wigley선형을 선택하고, $Rn=1.0{\times}10^6$인 경우에 대하여 계산을 수행하여 부가물이 선체 주위의 난류유동에 미치는 영향을 예측할 수 있음을 보였다.

소프트 절환이 가능한 계통 연계형 CTTS 시스템 구성에 관한 연구 (A Study on System Configuration of Grid-connected CTTS System with Soft Switching)

  • This paper proposes a grid - connected CTTS system that can be soft switched to meet the government's effective resource allocation policy for emergency generator. In order to eliminate the system instability caused by the large inrush current generation in the system switching, a new virtual rotation coordinate method for the dissimilar power source is proposed. The proposed virtual rotation coordinate method improves the voltage detection accuracy of the voltage difference of the dissimilar power supply, and it is proved that the synchronous switching characteristic is excellent. In addition, zero current and system stabilization can be achieved by realizing zero current when blocking CTTS with instantaneous reactive power control. Simulation was carried out to verify the validity of the proposed method, and the 500[kVA] system was fabricated and verified to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method.

대형 2차 와류에 의한 봉다발 부수로에서의 난류 열전달 향상에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experiment of Turbulent Heat Transfer Performance Enhancement in Rod Bundle Subchannel by the Large Scale Vortex Flow)

  • Experimental studies were carried out to confirm the turbulent enhancement of the cooling system of nuclear reactor by large scale vortex generation in nuclear fuel rod bundle. The large scale vortex motions were generated by rearranging the inclination angles of mixing vanes to the coordinate directions. Experimental studies were carried out at Reynolds Number 60,000 with hydraulic condition. Normal variations of mean velocity and turbulent intensity in the rod bundle subchannel were measured by the 2-color LDV measurement system. The turbulence generated by split mixing vanes has small length scales so that they maintain only about 10DH after the spacer grid. On the other hand, the turbulences generated by the large scale vortex continue more and remain up $25D_{H}$ after the spacer grid.

  • A general purpose program, TURBO-3D, for the analysis of 3-D fluid flow in complex geometry has been developed, which employs a standard $k-\varepsilon$ turbulence model and a general nonorthogonal grid system. For the purpose of verification of the program and testing the applicability, turbulent flows in an S-shaped diffuser and turbulent flows over an backward facing step are solved and compared with the earlier results. Comparison with the results by the STAR-CD program has been also made for the same flow configuration and grid structure. The agreements are excellent and hence the program has been verified. Since the present program is applicable only on limited flow phenomena and lacks the pre-and post processor, further improvements toward these directions are being made.

  • This paper describes analysis of complex flow around Car-like body using Chimera grid technique. As a computational algorithm, Pullboat and Chaussee's Diagonal algorithm is selected to reduce computational time. Introducing hole points flag to this Diagonal algorithm, an algorithm for Chimera grid is generated easily. This study solves 3-D unsteady incompressible Navier-Stokes equations on a non-orthogonal curvilinear coordinate system using second-order accurate schemes for the time derivatives, and third/second-order scheme for the spatial derivatives. The Marker-and-Cell concept is applied to efficiently solve continuity equation. The fourth-order artificial damping is added to the continuity equation for numerical stability, It has concluded that the results of present study properly agree with physical flow phenomena.

  • Experimental and computational studies were carried out to investigate the turbulent heat transfer enhancement of the cooling system in nuclear reactor by large scale vortex generation. The large scale vortex motion was generated by rearranging the inclination angels of mixing vanes to the coordinate direction. Axial development of mean and turbulent velocities in the subchannels were measured by the 2-color LDV system. Eddy diffusivity concept based on $\kappa{-}\varepsilon$ model was employed to calculate the turbulent heat and momentum transfers in the subchannel. The turbulences generated by split mixing vanes has small length scales so that they maintain only about $10D_H$ after the spacer grid. On the other hand, the turbulences generated by the large scale vortex motions continue longer and remain up to $25D_H$ after the spacer grid.

효율적 환경탐사를 위한 이동로봇 경로 계획기 (Mobile Robot Path Planner for Environment Exploration)

  • The Mobile robots are increasingly being used to perform tasks in unknown environments. The potential of robots to undertake such tasks lies in their ability to intelligently and efficiently search in an environment. An algorithm has been developed for robots which explore the environment to measure the physical properties (dust in this paper). While the robot is moving, it measures the amount of dust and registers the value in the corresponding grid cell. The robot moves from local maximum to local minimum, then to another local maximum, and repeats. To reach the local maximum or minimum, simple gradient following is used. Robust estimation of the gradient using perturbation/correlation, which is very effective when analytical solution is not available, is described. By introducing the probability of each grid cell, and considering the probability distribution, the robot doesn't have to visit all the grid cells in the environment still providing fast and efficient sensing. The extended algorithm to coordinate multiple robots is presented with simulation results.
