친환경건축물 설계를 위한 Green VE 대상선정모델 (Subject Selection Model of Green VE for Sustainable Design)

  • 최근 세계적으로 환경문제가 대두됨에 따라 모든 산업분야에서 환경부하를 감소시키기 위한 노력이 나타나고 있다. 특히 건축물이 환경에 미치는 양향은 절대적인 비중을 차지하고 있기 때문에 건축물의 전생애주기 동안에 에너지 절약과 생태환경보전을 위해 국가별로 친환경 건축물 인증제도를 운영하고 있다. 국내에서도 국토해양부와 환경부가 모든 시설물에 대한 친환경건축물 인증을 실시하고 있다. 특히 2010년부터 신축되는 모든 공공청사에 대해서 건물에너지효율 1등급의 취득을 의무화하고 있다. 효율적이고 체계적인 친환경건축물의 설계를 위해서는 설계 초기단계부터 친환경요소를 고려해야 하는 것이 필수적이다. 그러나 현재 친환경건축물 인증을 받기 위한 과정을 살펴보면, 실시설계가 거의 완료된 시점에서 친환경요소들을 고려함으로써 근본적인 친환경요소들을 설계에 적용하는데 어려움이 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해, 기본 및 실시설계 Value Engineering에서 친환경적인 요소들을 고려하여 체계적인 친환경요소들을 고려한다면 효율적인 친환경건축물을 설계할 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 친환경건축물 인증기준과 기존의 VE 대상선정 기법을 분석하여 프로젝트에서 집중적으로 고려해야 하는 친환경적인 요소들을 선정하기 위한 Green VE 대상선정모델을 제안하고자 한다.

  • With increasing awareness on sustainable construction and green buildings, environment-friendly construction activities have been introduced and promoted. Green value engineering (VE) is an effort that is recently introduced to facilitate environment-friendly construction. To support the application of green VE in construction, this paper suggests a green value assessment model considering the environmental performance and carbon emissions during construction. The value assessment model presented in this study is expected to help conduct objective value evaluation of construction activities in terms of both cost and environmental performance.

Effects of Plant Vinegar Extract on the Reduction of Blood Concentration of Alcohol and Acetaldehyde in Alcohol Administrated Rats

  • Excessive drinking causes 'alcohol hangover' within 8-16 hours. The cause of 'hangover' has not been elucidated exactly until now, but it is reported that it is caused by the creation of blood ethanol and acetaldehyde as ethanol metabolites. In this study vinegar extract of wood (VE) or OC-1, to which the powder extract of green tea leaves extract is added, was administered to the rats 30 minutes before the oral administration of ethanol (3 g/kg) and the blood ethanol and acetaldehyde concentration was measured in order to evaluate the efficacy of the beverage material for detoxification. As a result, the blood ethanol concentration in the group of the VE-1(vinegar crude extract) and VE-2 (double diluted solution) is statistically lower (P,0.05) than the exclusive alcohol administered control group. The blood acetaldehyde concentration of all groups of VE and OC-2, which is the double dilution of OC-1, is statistically low after 7 hours following ethanol administration. Especially, the AUC value of OC-2 group is statistically low compared to the control group. Accordingly, it indicates the conclusion that VE and OC-1, reducing the blood ethanol and acetaldehyde concentration which are two leading factors of 'hangover' after drinking, and worthwhile to be developed as beverage materials to eliminate 'hangover'.

  • We have put considerable time and work to find a proper solution to restore the damaged natural environment due to Dam construction, and to restore the field around Dam on the basis of Environmentally Sound Sustainable Development(E.S.S.D). We've replaced the site which had been used as a equipment space with the natural-oriented park, have made a wildlife corridor for those animals which have been living in the area in a newly constructed road to in an out, and have introduced a streamside plant to organize green-space. We've received incredible favor from visitors and residents for the environment restoration. The natural-oriented park plays a role of giving the citizens to the pleasure and the comfort.

환경공간정보를 고려한 어린이공원 내 말벌속(genus Vespa) 출현 경향 분석 (cological Characteristics of Hornets(genus Vespa) Considering Environmental Spatial Information in Urban Children's Parks)

  • 도시생태계는 기존 자연생태계와 달리 야생생물 및 인간이 함께 공존하는 상호복합적 환경을 제공한다. 그러나 도시 녹지 및 공원에 출현하는 말벌속(genus Vespa)은 도시생태계에 긍정적인 기능을 수행함과 동시에 도시민에게 물리적 심리적 피해를 초래하는 불균형을 야기하기도 한다. 특히 어린이공원은 접근성이 높아 도시민 및 어린이가 쉽게 이용하는 도시 녹지이며 말벌속이 거점 및 서식지로 활용하는 공간임에도 아직까지 어린이공원에 출현하는 말벌속에 대한 서식환경 및 출현 특성을 공간적으로 분석한 연구가 부족한 상황이다. 본 연구는 말벌속의 생활사 기간을 고려해 2018년 4월부터 11월까지 32주간 천안시 어린이공원 27개소 내 말벌트랩을 설치해 말벌(Vespa crabro flaVofasciata), 좀말벌(Vespa analis parallela), 장수말벌(Vespa mandarinina), 꼬마장수말벌(Vespa ducalis), 등검은말벌(Vespa Velutina nigrithorax)을 포획하고 출현 종 구성 및 어린이공원의 입지 특성 및 환경공간정보를 고려한 말벌속의 출현 경향을 분석하였다. 연구 기간 말벌속은 총 818개체가 포획되었으며, 종별로는 좀말벌 290개체(35.4%), 말벌 260개체(31.8%), 꼬마장수말벌 100개체(12.1%), 장수말벌 87개체(10.6%), 등검은말벌 81개체(9.9%) 순으로 포획되었다. 대부분의 말벌속은 계칩(啓蟄) 이후 5~6월에 여왕벌 위주로 포획이 이루어지다가 분업기인 6월 중순부터 포획 개체 수가 급감한 공통적인 특징이 있으나, 등검은말벌은 타 말벌속의 쇠퇴기가 이미 시작된 10월 3주차부터 80% 이상 포획되어 계절적 차이를 보여주었다. 어린이공원 입지별 말벌속 포획 개체 수를 분석한 결과 포획량 상위 6개소에서 363개체(44.3%), 하위 6개소에서 35개체(4%)가 포획되어 확연한 차이를 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 상위 6개소의 평균 NDVI(Normalized difference Vegetation index)는 0.79로 하위 6개소의 평균 NDVI인 0.38과 유의한 평균간 차이를 보였으며(t=2.67*, *=p<0.05), 주변 토지이용이 초지 혹은 나지일 경우 말벌속 포획 빈도가 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구는 도시 내 녹지 및 공원에 출현하는 말벌속의 생태적 기본 특성을 확인한 기초 연구로서 의의가 있으며, 향후 효율적인 도시 녹지 관리를 위한 토대가 될 것으로 기대된다.

AN ASSESSMENT SYSTEM OF ECO-FRIENDLINESS OF CONSTRUCTED FACILITY IN THE DESIGN PHASE USING VALUE ENGINEERING

  • The new paradigm called 'Low Carbon Green Growth' involved in reducing greenhouse gas is on the rise as a critical issue worldwide. The essential of Kyoto protocol issued in 1997 is to achieve the sustainable economic growth environments by converting existing production system to eco-friendly one. The protocol imposes the liability to reduce greenhouse gas to the countries joined to it. The paradigm is directly involved in the energy consumption and environmental pollution caused by construction activities. Value Engineering which are mainly applied in the design phase in practice is a measure to improve the value of a constructed facility by analyzing and/or appraising the functions and costs of it. However, an appropriate method which assesses eco-friendliness of constructed facility has not been propose by researchers. This paper proposes a method which assesses the performance involved in eco-friendliness of constructed facility using Value Engineering (VE) in the design phase. The method estimates the environmental cost relative to the amounts of energy consumption and environmental pollution occurred over the entire project life cycle. The database called "Life Cycle Inventory DB", which stores information about the amounts of environmental pollution, is used. The algorithm which retrieves the amounts of environmental pollutions from the DB and converts them into environmental costs is developed. The algorithm is implemented into a system which quantifies the eco-friendliness of constructed facility in the design phase using VE.

물관리를 위한 자연기반해법과 유사개념들의 유형분류 및 체계 (Typological System of Nature-based Solutions and Its Similar Concepts on Water Management)

  • 본 연구는 사회환경적 문제의 해결방안으로서 새롭게 등장한 자연기반해법 (NbS) 개념을 물관리에 초점을 맞추어 생태계에 기반을 둔 기존 유사개념들과 비교, 평가한 것이다. NbS는 (자연)생태계 기능이 사회환경문제 해결에 활용하기 위한 기존의 다양한 접근방법들을 포괄적으로 대표할 수 있다는 점에서 그 의미가 있으며, 특히 교육적, 설득적인 면에서 유익한 개념이다. 그러나 물관리 측면에서 접근방법론은 특히 Eco-DRR을 포함하는 광의의 그린인프라와 실제 크게 다르지 않다. 다만 협의의 그린인프라는 현재 우수관리에 초점을 맞추고 있기 때문에 NbS 개념은 여전히 유용하다. 물관련 제 방법론은 개념적, 공간적 포괄성 관점에서 NbS-(EE)-BGI-(CRT)-GI-LID 순으로 표시할 수 있다. 마지막으로, LID 용어는 토지개발사업과 같이 특정한 경우를 제외하고 혼돈스럽지 않도록 그린인프라 용어로 대체할 수 있을 것이다.

  • About 30% of the total annual energy consumption on the earth is used in the architectural activities, including construction, maintenance management, and demonstration of a building. Also, 40% of the natural resource consumption, 50% of $CO_2$ emissions, and 20%~50% of industrial waste emissions are produced from a building. Unfortunately, the percentage of its energy consumption is staidly increasing year by year, about 8% every year, and it recently causes a sustainable architectural concept to come to the fore globally. Indeed, the importance of the sustainable architecture is increasingly becoming a worldwide trend. BIM(Building Information Modeling) is considered a new paradigm and a powerful method in building design, construction and maintenance. BIM has characteristics similar to a building's systems. All of the components in a model have a parametric relationship to each other. Understanding and capitalizing on these interrelationships typically takes numerous iterations that span multiple projects. Optimizing the integrated strategies and technologies for a high-performance, sustainable design requires a continual look at understanding how they work together to deliver the best potential. Throughout all of these concepts, we are going to be using a variety of tools that revolve around a BIM model. Some of the tools will require a heavier use of BIM than others, but all of them will utilize the model geometry you've created as part of your design. This study presents importance and validity of energy performance analyzation in the pre-design phase for the sustainable architecture with the support of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology.

남성 패션에 나타난 청색의 배색 특성 (The Characteristics of Blue Color Combination Shown in Men's Fashion)

  • This study's goal is to analyze the color characteristics of Blue used in men's fashion for design developing process. First, we researched the previous studies and examined documents about color characteristics of Blue in general as well as coloration in fashion design and men's fashion. We composed color samples by collecting two-color coloration used in men's fashion collection for 5 years from 2004 S/S to 2008 F/W through a specialized fashion information web-sites. We limited the colors from Blue Green(BG) to Purple Blue(PB). Second, we analyzed the characteristics of hue combination and tone combination. A total of 351 pictures were collected and RGB and HV/C value were converted with Munsell Conversion program(ver.8.0.1). Color data has been sorted to 10 hues and 12 PCCS tones. From this, we were able to figure out that similar/same hue coloration was used more than contrary hue coloration and similar/same tone coloration was used more than contrary tone coloration for Blue. We've limited Blue coloration characteristics of men's fashion to two-color coloration for an analysis; the succeeding study will need to examine on the characteristics of multi-coloration and detailed Blue coloration image by various garments.

철도용 레일체결장치 부품.소재의 실험적 연구를 통한 신뢰성 설계 방안 (The Reliability Design Method According to the Experimental Study of Components and Materials of Railway Rail Fastening System)

  • Railway rail fastening system is the critical device which gives big influences to not only the vehicle driving stability and the orbit's structural stability against the impulsive load, but also the noise vibration and the ride comfort. As a part of the low-carbon green growth, the importance of the railroad industry is getting highlights on its excellent energy-efficiency and eco-friendliness. However, so far the Korea's domestic rail fastening system technology is not so good and the technical reliance to abroad is very heavy. In this study, we conducted comparative analysis on the rail fastening system with new and used one of the same type. And those systems are imported by Seoul Metro and are being used by it. With this basis, we developed the components and the materials and then, established the durability assessment methods appropriate to the Korean domestic circumstances. And through the reliability qualification test on the 7 parts of the rail fastening system, we've improved the reliability and guaranteed the 15 years of service lifetime. ($B_{10}Life15$) Establishment and standardization of Reliability Standard on the parts of the rail fastening system such as anti-vibration pads, guide-plate, screw spike made it possible to perform the internationally fair assessment. And it is thought that we can satisfy the manufactures' and consumers' needs of cost-cutting and qualification security by shortening of assessment period on rail fastening system.
