In this study, the fermentation and quality characteristics of Greek-style yogurt supplemented with stevia leaf extract during storage were examined. Stevia leaf extract was extracted from dried leaves with hot water and 70% ethanol. The pH decreased significantly in all samples over time during fermentation (p<0.05). In particular, the sharpest decrease was detected in the group in which the hot water extract of stevia was added. Acidity increased significantly over time during fermentation (p<0.05). Lactic acid bacteria counts increased in all samples up to 9 h after the start of fermentation, but decreased after 12 h. The sugar content decreased over time, and there were no major differences between samples. Based on the results of a sensory evaluation, the group treated with stevia extract was rated high in sweetness, but was rated somewhat low in color and flavor. Accordingly, it was rated low in overall acceptability. In a storability experiment, as the days of storage increased, the pH gradually decreased, and acidity showed a tendency to increase. The sugar content showed a tendency to decrease and then increase.

Yorgos Lanthimos' The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017) uses Iphigeneia in Aulis written by Euripides, one of the three great Greek tragedies writers, as the archetypal narrative. Thus, Lanthimos introduces a mythical world stained with 'blood violence by a divine being' within the cinematic diegesis of a modern American metropolis. And the mythical motifs of curses and scapegoats are varied. This thesis tried to read the scapegoat mechanism, the oldest mechanism of escape from the crisis of collective sacrifice, and the imitative and mutual characteristics of desire and violence through René Girard through the mythical world built in the modern time and space of the film. Martin places a cursed oracle on Steven when his desire to place him in his father's place is thwarted. The 'good' reciprocity between two people is rapidly transformed into a 'bad' reciprocity. The Killing of Sacred Deer is an excellent portrayal of how the scapegoat mechanism works through Steven's family. The selection of the scapegoat by lot gives the sacrificial lamb a sacred character thanks to its divine nature, and the scapegoat becomes a sacred being, and the family order is re-established.

Greek myth is a play of imagination. It represents world with magic eye. The Greek myth of Homer and Hesiod is the story of gods. But it is the world of imagination which was produced to understand the origins and the causes of natural phenomena with the symbolic factors. It is the frame with which we understand the destiny of human beings. As a world of imagination, Myth is not a total fiction but a symbolically revived world with magic eye. Myth is a play which represents the world with imagination. And it is a play which projects new world yet not exists. Myth is the world of free play with reproduction and imagination. Heraclitus elucidated the structure and change of world with the metaphor of play. He tried to define the meaning of being with play. The play is the clue of elucidating the meaning of being. On play the whole world is reflected. He expressed the world has no ultimate end and is changing endlessly. Philosophical speculation understands the world with the metaphor of play. Metaphor is correlated with the philosophical eye which view the world totally. The human beings are happy when they concentrate upon play. The rule of real world doesn't go in the world of play. They have their own rule which goes in the world of play. Ancient mythologists and pre-socratic philosophers dreamed the life free from the restriction of the nature.

A new method for deriving analytical solution of the annular elastic plate on elastic foundation under axisymmetric loading is presented. The formulation is based on application of Hankel integral transforms and Bessel functions' properties in the corresponding boundary-value problem. A representative example is studied and the obtained solution is compared with published numerical results indicating excellent agreement.

This study is concerned with a comparative linguistic analysis of the Manchu costume terminologies. The Manchu costume terminologies revealed the elements Hebrew, Norweygian, English, Assyrian, Chinese, American Indian, Sanskrit, Tatar, Turkestan, Greek, Arabic, Indian, Kashmiri. The most influential elements of the Manchu costume terminologies were the Chinese costume terminologies. specifically, the elements of the Chinese costume terms were found in the terminologies of the fabrics, the gems and the precious stones. Also the influence of the Mongolic costume on the Manchu costume terminologies appeared in this study.

Just as the transistor changed the face of electrical engineering and heralded the electronic and microprocessor era, a new technology, still in its infancy is likely to have an even larger impact on industry and society alike. This new technology which has already begun to make its impact on modern technology is called nano-technology. Nano-technology, derived from the Greek word, meaning - Dwarf, is related to the ability to manufacture, fabricate and measure in the nanometre precision range, which is 10$^{-9}$ parts of metre, a dimension which makes the diameter of a human hair appear huge by comparison.

Some or the parameters affecting the thermal analysis of different types of ground tobacco have been discussed. The sample, Korean flue- cured and burley and Greek orient tobacco leaves were run in air at heating rate of $10^{\circ}$ and 20^{\circ}C$ per minute. The thermograms obtained were divided into four temperature zones. The effect of different heating rates on thermal degradation has been discussed At the lower heating rate the maxima of DTA curves in zone 3 and 4 were 25-$40^{\circ}C$ lower than that of the higher heating rate.

In this paper I examined the tangents to curves through the history of mathematics, expecially that of the Greek geometry and seventeenth century. The purpose of this examination is to show that the mathematical concept of curves is changed by the problems. And I analyzed the text books from the junior to high school. I found that the tangents which aretaught in junior school correspond to those of Greece, and the tangents in high school those of seventeenth century.

Mathematics and arts are reflection of the spirit of the ages, since they have human inner parallel vision. Therefore, in ancient Greek ages, the artists' cannon was actually geometric ratio, golden section. However, in middle ages, the Euclidean Geometry was disappeared according to the Monastic Mathematics, then the art was divided two categories, one was holy Christian arts and the other was secular arts. In this research, we take notice of Renaissance Painting and Perspective Geometry, since Perspective Geometry was influenced by Renaissance notorious painter, Massccio, Leonardo and Raphael, etc. They drew and painted works by mathematical principles, at last, reformed the paradigm of arts. If we can say Euclidean Geometry is tactile geometry, the Perspective Geometry can be called by visual geometry.
