  • The purpose of this study is to formulate the direction of Church education, taking into account the negative effects of digital technologies in the era of the Great Digital Transformation. Firstly, the study discussed comprehension of the Great Digital Transformation and negative effects of digital technologies. The term "Great Digital Transformation" signifies a fundamental shift into a world where everything that surrounds us becomes digital-based. In this era of the Great Digital Transformation, the negative effects of digital technologies are intensifying. Secondly, the study discussed the issue of education and church education during the great digital transformation period. The use of digital technologies has been widespread in schools. However, academic circles have raised concerns about the negative effects of digital technology on both the classroom environment and basic academic skills such as reading ability. Since digital education is becoming more popular, there is a fear that church education may fall behind in a rapidly changing society. In conclusion, the study proposed recommendations for reshaping Church education in the era of the Great Digital Transformation, considering the negative effects of digital technologies. The first is Christian worldview education, which is centered around the faith community. Education in the Christian worldview, learned through the interaction with various faiths within the faith community, encourages critical thinking and reflection on the risks posed by the digital age that are associated with capitalism and meritocracy. The second is Christian care, which is centered around the faith community. Christian care in the era of the Great Digital Transformation will help us to form genuine connections with discriminated, isolated, and lonely souls who suffer from negative effects of digital technologies, guiding them towards the path of salvation.

  • In order to ease the treatment of anisotropic potential when developing the variational RRKM theory, we applied Fano-Racah's recoupling theory to the multipole-multipole interaction, resulting in the great simplification of the anisotropic potentials. The treatment appears as a generalization of Keesom transformation in case of dipole-dipole interaction and provides us with great insights to the characteristics of tensorial interactions in the multipole-multipole interaction system.

  • The plastid transformation approach offers a number of unique advantages, including high-level transgene expression, multi-gene engineering, transgene containment, and a lack of gene silencing and position effects. The extension of plastid transformation technology to monocotyledonous cereal crops, including rice, bears great promise for the improvement of agronomic traits, and the efficient production of pharmaceutical or nutritional enhancement. Here, we report a promising step towards stable plastid transformation in rice. We produced fertile transplastomic rice plants and demonstrated transmission of the plastidexpressed green fluorescent protein (GFP) and aminoglycoside 3′-adenylyltransferase genes to the progeny of these plants. Transgenic chloroplasts were determined to have stably expressed the GFP, which was confirmed by both confocal microscopy and Western blot analyses. Although the produced rice plastid transformants were found to be heteroplastomic, and the transformation efficiency requires further improvement, this study has established a variety of parameters for the use of plastid transformation technology in cereal crops.

  • Welding is one of the most important joining processes and the effect of welding residual stresses in the structure has a great deal of influence on its quality. In this paper, recent development in computational welding mechanics, particularly calculation of welding residual stresses, is introduced. The hypoelastic formulation of finite element analysis for thermoelastic-plastic deformation is applied to welding processes to find residual deformations and stresses. Leblond's phase evolution equation coupled with the energy equation is employed to calculate the phase volume fraction; this plays an important role as a kinetics parameter affecting phase fraction effects in the mechanical constitutive equation of welded materials. Furthermore, transformation plasticity is taken into account for an accurate evaluation of stress. The influence of the phase transformation and the transformation plasticity on residual stress is investigated by means of numerical analyses using metallurgical parameters in Leblond's phase evolution equation that are adjusted with respect to various cooling rates in a CCT-diagram. Coding implementation is conducted by way of the ABAQUS user subroutines, UMAT.

  • The following results are obtained through study on the Three Eum and Three Yang. 1. Up to nowadays, many people confuse the Great Yang, the lesser Eum, the Great Eum, and the lesser Yang of the Sasang with the Great Yang, the lesser Yang, the Sunlight, the Great Eum, the lesser Eum, and the absolute Eum of the Three Eum and Three Yang becuase they are expressed with the same letters. But the former is the second specialization of the Eum and Yang, and the latter is the transformation of the six climate, so they cannot be the same thing, and there is no connection between them. 2. Three Eum and Three Yang is the outer expression of the six climate, which is coldness, heat, dryness, humidity, wind, and the fire, and it is the conception of the formation of objects which possess SI-JUNG-JONG & BON-JUNG-MAL, and it represents one term of the status of transformation in which the life and the Yang Qi are born, grown, united, and completed. 3. The Three Eum and Three Yang is not only applyed to the outer expression of the six climate, but also to the twelve channels which correspond with the twelve viscera, six differentiation of the disease of the cold, various illness, and the form of pulse. 4. The combination of the Three Eum and Three Yang and the twelve channels is divided into the channel of Sahwa and the channel of Jonghwa, and it also has important relationship with the physiology of the viscera. 5. The division of the six channels of disease of the cold suggested by Junggyung originates from the heat theory in Neagyung, but the six channels in the heat theory are of pathological conception, so the six channels of Junggyung includes the disease of the channels and the viscera. 6. The difference of the Pyo, Bon, Jung Qi of the Three Eum and Three Yang makes the syndrom of the disease diverse so it can be used in the diagnosis and the treatment of disease, and further studies are necessary on this part.

  • Recently, the number of vehicles equipped with cameras that are generally used to recognize surroundings is increasing. For robust recognition, a huge amount of tests under various environments are performed. Furthermore, the installation position or orientation of the camera is also changed depending on the vehicle. This change also accompanies many tests. Correspondingly, a large cost and a great deal of manpower are required to perform these tests. This paper proposes a method to cut these costs while conducting enough tests through the construction of a database of videos and a geometric transformation of images.

  • Malignant transformation of teratoma in the anterior mediastinum is rare; the mass usually has a long history and is seen in older patients. We report a case of teratoma with malignant transformation in the anterior mediastinum, complicated by rupture. CT revealed a lobulated, inhomogeneous cystic mass with a fat component and wall calcifications. The lateral wall was disrupted and consolidation in the adjacent left upper lobe was noted, suggesting rupture. A heterogeneously enhanced solid portion, obliterating the fat plane between the mass and the great vessels was present in the medial aspect of the mass, and pathologic examination demonstrated the presence of adenocarcinoma.

  • Chloroplast transformation in higher plants offers many attractive advantages over nuclear transformation, including a high-level accumulation of foreign proteins, multi-gene expression in single transformation event via transgene stacking in operons and no position effect due to site-specific integration of transgenes by homologous recombination. Most importantly, chloroplast transgenic plants are eco-friendly because their transgenes are maternally inheritance in most crop plants. However, chloroplast transformation system has limited success in crops alike nuclear transformation. In the past two decades, great progress has been made to overcome the limitations of chloroplast transformation, thus expending chloroplast bioreactor to several important crops including soybean, carrot, lettuce, and oilseed. Therefore, it has become possible that chloroplast transformation of crops can be used not only for the improvement of agronomic traits, but also for the production of vaccines and high valuable therapeutic proteins in pharmaceutical industry.
