The great strategy of China has been changing depending on the time, change of surrounding environment and personality of leaders of the time. However, the process of the change was not the drastic change but has maintained the consistency through the course of modification and development. The great strategy of Mao Ze-dong was to have the objective in 'World Great Nation' with the facilitation of the 'Surpass Strategy' and 'Autonomy, Independence and Alliance strategy' to successfully build up the political great nation, but he entrapped China's politics and economy into the point of no return by excessive war preparation under 'The Principle of Inevitable World War', striving of rapid communism and other policies. The Deng Xiao-ping era also targeted for ‘World Great Nation’ but, unlike Mao Ze-dong, he had the foundation in the 'The Principle of Evitable World War' and undertook the ‘Peace and Development Strategy’ and ‘Peaceful Coexistence' to build up the advantageous surrounding environment for China to focus on the economic construction as the core of the nation by establishing ‘The Reform and Opening Strategy’ and 'Three-step Development Strategy‘ to have the successful soft landing of the Chinese economy with the astonishing economic development. The system of leader's group of China after Deng Xiao-ping succeeded the practical and realistic spirit of Deng Xia-ping, and based on the drastically grown economic strength, the great strategy of China is on the ‘The Great Reinvigoration of Chinese Nation’. This is one step further from the strategy of 'World Great Nation' of the past that it embraces all the minority races in China, Chinese economic sphere, foreign citizens of Chinese origin as well as Chinese residing abroad. China contemplates the time of making 'The Great Reinvigoration of Chinese Nation’ in 2050, 100 anniversary of the birth of new China.

The problem of trend change in the mean residual life is great Interest in the reliability and survival analysis. In this paper, a new test statistic for testing whether or not the mean residual life changes its trend Is developed. It is assumed that neither the change point nor the proportion at which the trend change occurs is known. The asymptotic null distribution of test statistic is established and asymptotic critical values of the asymptotic null distribution is obtained. Monte Carlo simulation is used to compare the proposed test with previously known tests.

This study proposes an equivalent bell model for the Sacred Bell of the Great King Seongdeok An equivalent bell model bas the modal property of the real bell and it consists of an axi-symmetric bell body and a point mass, The bell model is constructed by the finite element analysis based upon the theory of a revolutionary shell. Using the equivalent bell model. the beat period can be controlled by decreasing the thickness of local area. This study aims at showing a beat period control method for a large bell having the similar size to the Sacred Bell of the Great King Seongdeok.

Smart sensors and biochip technologies have received a great deal of attention in recent years not only because of the enormous potential markets in the healthcare expenditures but more importantly because of its great impact on the quality of human life in the future. Collaborative research among BT (Bio Technologies), IT (Information Technologies) and NT (Nano Technologies) will bring us a new paradigm of the healthcare services. Examples include disease prediction based on the genetic tests, personal medicines, point-of-care analysis, rapid and sensitive infectious disease diagnostics, environmental monitoring for chemical or biological warfares, intelligent drug delivery systems etc. In this report, recent accomplishment in the research area on biosensors, DNA chips, Protein Chips and Lab-on-a-chips are reviewed.

This paper examines the birth of civil engineers in the United States. Unlike the advanced some European countries such as Great Britain or France, as a new nation America had to import high-tech technologies from them. In the process of transplantation she had mixed up the civil engineering of British style with French's. As a result, the training of the civil engineers in America had developed in various ways.

The construction quality control of hull blocks is of great significance for shipbuilding. The total station device is predominantly employed in traditional applications, but suffers from long measurement time, high labor intensity and scarcity of data points. In this paper, the Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS) device is utilized to obtain an efficient and accurate comprehensive construction information of hull blocks. To address the registration problem which is the most important issue in comparing the measurement point cloud and the design model, an automatic registration approach is presented. Furthermore, to compare the data acquired by TLS device and sparse point sets obtained by total station device, a method for key point extraction is introduced. Experimental results indicate that the proposed approach is fast and accurate, and that applying TLS to control the construction quality of hull blocks is reliable and feasible.

This study is aimed at identifying China's land operating system in the great leap periods. the findings are as follows. For one thing, though the landownership in China was basically performed in public, a portion of private management was allowed. The more this kind of private management allowed, the more the life standard of farmers enhanced. For another thing, the conversion from agricultural cooperatives to people's commune happened swiftly, and the problems according to the conversion arose instantly, which made the operation system changed partially. The last, but not the least, even in the point of the rapid communistic movement, private management was locally accepted in the name of three self and one private management. Besides, as we can recognize from the case study of Daichai village, the operation of a large working group and a small working group was done in political context.

수문변량 사이의 관계는 대부분 비선형 관계를 보이고 있다. 일반적으로 이런 비선형 관계는 어떤 선행하는 명백한 하나의 함수적인 형태로 표현할 수 없는 것이 일반적이다. 본 논문에서는, 비매개변수적 다변량 회귀분석 방법을 지역적으로 가중된 다항식을 이용하여 비선형 예상 함수를 추정하였다. 지역적으로 가중된 다항식은 추정치 각 점에서의 인접한 이웃자료를 가지고 목적 함수를 테일러 급수 확장을 통하여 고려하였다. 이런 비매개변수적 회귀분석을 실용성을 Great Salt Lake의 격주 체적자료에 대한 단기간 예측을 통하여 보여주었다.

The Great Wall is an element in University which stand outs as a landmark. The Great Wall is located in front of the grand staircases of the gymnasium in the main gate area. Falling water and Lights shows a spectacle panorama in various point of view. Water falls down the top of the grand staircases and the front walls. And the red, blue and green lights brighten the falling water in the evenings. Also the relief of the palm tree and turtle symbolizes the University Identity. The wall is comprehends not only the day and the night but four seasons. The Water, Lights, and the Relief are coordinates well along with the new building in campus.
